What do you mean, "and"? You think something is inappropriate, and they clearly disagree with you, since they invited her. What right do you have to impose your sense of inappropriateness onto them? Don't they get to decide who to invite? How would you feel if feminists used a petition or a mass emailing campaign to de-platform someone *you* like from an event? Is this how it's going to be? The side with the biggest internet mob wins?

You're acting as if the people who invited her don't know who she is. Clearly it's not inappropriate for them, since they invited her.

And who gets to decide what's "appropriate" and what isn't? You? What about freedom of speech? Are you seriously advocating for the shunning of people based on unpopular speech? How many times have feminists done this to MRAs? Didn't feminists do the same thing to Richard Dawkins last year and he got disinvited? I'm no hypocrite. If it's shitty when feminists do it, then it's shitty when we do it.

I'm not really in favour of de-platforming people...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
