Took me awhile to learn that a 100% white male workforce is considered 0% diverse whereas a 100% white female workforce is considered 100% diverse. A few other things that I have noticed: It is significantly easier for women to pivot into another type of role/field/job both internally and externally. Often times, women merely just need to express interest. Degrees, certifications, and experience held by women is significantly more valued by companies compared to men. (A Bachelor’s degree is the new Associate’s degree for men.)
