I suppose it is negative. I don’t see how it’s hateful. But I mainly intended this to show the benefits of independence: that sometimes basic ethics have to compromised to participate in this rigged system. That is all.

I like this sub. I think it’s less hysterical and I like the nonpolitical aspect (as if any ideology can’t be hijaked to “dehumanize” men) I’ve subbed

And that’s just it, I don’t think we can change it, but can we acknowledge it? Women are not our moral betters by virtue of being women. For many millennia until ca.1970 the exact opposite was seen as true

I agree. The only thing I would add is I’d say is not as simple as ‘money’ your asset value can be in other things. In caveman days physical strength was the biggest indicator of your ability to get those resources. So that’s why that’s valued. Likewise being generally in good shape is a requirement even if you’re rich, because if you die that income flow could stop. But all of these things do fundamentally come back to the ability to provide.
