The average woman has far more experience with men than the average man has with women, unless you don't believe the hype that every half decent women has men throwing themselves at them. You jump from "average woman" to "half decent woman." The average woman is half decent and has men throwing themselves at her? I doubt that. I'm sure you'd like to believe that women have more experience with men than the reverse, but that's a claim you have no evidence for. This is simply not true. Most men wo…

That makes sense. So you'd also more likely spread the information that the girl you know gave you about said guy as well, correct?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 02:49 AM

With this, its more like: Man hears woman do something/respond in certain way. Man also hears similar cases of women doing something/responding in a certain way. Man asks question and gets a response or responses of women doing the same thing/acting the same way. He is more convinced that this is a behavioral trend among women. In my case, it's: woman hears something about man. Woman instantly believes it without question. Woman sees man and reacts differently toward him due to this information.

That's bullshit, the "other woman" has plenty of experience with other men behaving the same. That would be an assumption, unless you're going to tell me that women believe that all men are creepy, abusive, murdering rapists simply because some men are, which I already know isn't true because they wouldn't go near men if they did. The women believe each other for the same reason as the men, because they've seen it from many other men, so it's equally likely that this dude, she doesn't know, is t…

They don't know if Jenny is hypergamous, they have no confirmation of it, but they believe she is because some guy said all women are... No, they don't simply believe it because some guy said it. They believe it because they've seen it a lot of times in many other women, so while it isn't exactly going to be true for every single woman, it's more likely that it will be. How is that any different than some chick thinking Mike is a dick because some other chick said he is? Because the other women …

No, it's not the same. At all. It may make sense in your head but it isn't. One is about noting behavior of multiple people and generalizing it to most or all women while the other is about hearing news about one person and believing it without confirmation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 12:34 AM

Men don't really do this though. Men are more likely to confront and confirm whereas women have issues with confronting people so they almost never do.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 12:29 AM
1

No, this definitely isn't the same. What you're saying about goes something like: Male streamer: "Women are like this. They'll do X and Y and Z." Men: "Yeah that's true, I've had numerous experiences with them doing exactly that." The situation I'm talking about is more like: Woman: "Oh, do you know Michael? He did X and it made me so uncomfortable. He's such a creep." Other woman/women: "Oh my god! I don't know him very well but yeah he sounds like a creep. I'm glad you're okay and I definitely…

/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 12:04 AM

So, you didn't confirm. You waited for some other claim different from the first and said "that proves it." Am I interpreting that correctly?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 11:56 PM

I don't think that's a similar situation. I think that's just them saying that they don't like girl #1 and don't really care about anything she says. All other cases will end in groupthink.

How did you confirm?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 11:52 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 11:45 PM

Typically? That's a pretty generous assertion, and one that I'd disagree with. "The devil's in the details," as it were. A lot of the time, people leave out important context which might include bad behavior on their part and only leaving the conclusion that X person is crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 11:44 PM

That's not why they do it. Women seem more likely to accept information without confirming and then pass it around as though it were already true.

No, this happens with complete strangers as well. Friend A has experience with a man that Friend B has met before but doesn't really know. Friend A makes a claim to Friend B about the man and Friend B begins treating the man differently because of it without ever asking what happened. I've noticed that this is a very common phenomenon with women so that's why I'm asking why women behave this way. I know that women are more averse and cautious of the world around them, but taking the words of som…

I gots another hot question: Why do women simply listen to the claims of other people without question? Most commonly, if women are gossiping and one woman says something, the others instantly react to it as if it were true instead of asking probing questions to confirm. It happens a lot where men are involved as well. Woman makes a claim that a man was "stalking" her or abusing her or anything that sounds bad and the others immediately accept it at face value. Additionally, if they know the man…

I'm saying if we were actually picking a gym girl, the on the left is the one we want, not the one on the right. Most guys just want their women to be attractive and make an effort to stay healthy. She doesn't have to be a gym girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:14 PM

Hmmmmm... I'm not sure if I would agree. I've seen it go either way. Some people who have been traumatized develop the tendency to traumatize others. I think it's a defense mechanism to prevent it from happening to them again by becoming the aggressor instead of the victim. There are people who work through it and become better people but I don't know if that comes with age or because they're just more self-aware people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:40 PM

Why appreciate people with past traumas? Is that assuming that they have worked through them and are more aware or better people because of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:23 PM

A friend of mine is considering trying to do that with this girl he was trying to be with and recently got away from. He says he wants to go back and I'm like 🤦🏽🤷🏽‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:22 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:20 PM

Sad part is there's a lot of undiagnosed people or people with a mixed bag of personality disorder traits out there and a lot of people aren't aware of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:19 PM

Q4All: would you choose to be in a relationship with someone who you knew had a personality disorder (Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder, Paranoid Personality Disorder, Histrionic Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder, etc.)?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:05 PM
1

Of course. Nearly all women are in their own world, innit?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 02:54 PM
1

The difficult part is talking to the stranger, not walking up to them. That's usually where most people fail. Anxiety from walking up is caused by the dread of needing to speak. Its always worse to approach someone without a valid reason which is why nobody feels anxious about approaching a stranger to return something they dropped or because someone else was calling to them.

From fear or anxiety, maybe.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:49 AM

The problem with women "approaching" is that even when a woman approaches a man, she still expects him to act as though he approached her and move the conversation toward exchanging numbers and going out on a date. All that's basically going on in their mind is "Okay, here I am. I made it easy for you, now ask me for my number."

It's yamete and it means "please, daddy."

Well they're living a certain lifestyle with certain rules and restrictions. With what I'm talking about, you'd have a lot of your freedom but you'd have to provide mostly for yourself and if people want to give you something in return for your good deeds.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:18 AM

Of course it is, but that's what makes it worth it. You can't do something for yourself and get the same outcome.

No, they've bloomed. They just haven't amounted to much. Not all flowers are beautiful. "Late-bloomers" are people who do exactly that - bloom late.

Most people are only doing those things when it's convenient for them though, like when they have nothing better to do or because they have something to gain from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:55 AM
1

Well yeah, that's what "living destitute" means here lol. You can't just work your regular job then come out at 6pm for an hour or two and then head back home. You gotta sacrifice a little more than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:53 AM
1

I'm doubtful that I'd find them in most places. People be selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:50 AM
1

Yes, they will. With the media continuing to report and spreading the idea, and with people's mental health on the decline, there will be more cries for help in the form of violence against others. It's an inverse relationship of how people choose to handle stress. Some internalize, implode and hurt themselves while others externalize, explode and hurt others.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:29 AM
1

Because you'd have more time to serve the public if you don't work most of the day. It's not about what's more convenient.

If they do, it's because they're behind everyone else their age. They look at every other guy with a career and past relationships and looks like the typical image of a man in his age group, and then there's the late-bloomer who is lagging 5 to 10 years behind, maybe still in college, still hasn't gotten the career up and going yet, probably never been married yet, not too many relationships to speak of, still looks and dresses younger than he "should," etc. In other words, they don't fit the ae…

I mean, have you ever taken any of the good advice you've been given? Depends on whether or not I thought it was good advice. A lot of people just have advice that worked for them but not most other people, so it is a lot of wasted breath in that regard. I don't have a lot of general advice for dealing with anxiety or mood changes, but I'm good at giving situational advice with relationships and other social situations. For sure. What I imagined was more like a disciple of Jeebus who did things for the good of humanity rather than the physical reward. It's definitely not a path that most people would take, but I'm curious to see who would.

For sure, I think it would be interesting especially if it gained a bit of a following like the failed "Pay It Forward" movie movement back in 2000. I'm also pretty confident in my skills as a level-headed thinker and advice-giver.

This scenario I created is mostly focused on the work being done for the sake of helping others. Most people are only doing a job helping others because they get paid to do it, not because it's their genuine passion to help others, so I took away the financial part to see who would continue helping others for the sake of doing good instead of being compensated for it.

Q4All: would you live a destitute life of servitude helping others as long as you never went hungry? Basically, you are single, make a meager income, and your "Job" is essentially that you work for free helping people with random acts of kindness that you're capable of doing, kind of like an unofficial wandering volunteer. You might work an actual job part-time to help pay bills, but during your off-time, you're going to a new location everyday and helping strangers. I just thought of an idea wh…

Stressing about dating isn't worth it because a lot of people are settling for the best they believe they already have, not the absolute best there is. Everyone is better off living their lives and not thinking too seriously about anything because a minority of people out there are actually worth stressing over. Beep boop.

Right, but I'm talking about in regards to identity. It's fine to let kids know that gay, trans and "queer" people exist, although nobody needs to because they'll be able to see that on their own, but not to teach them about it as an identity. If they're curious about it, they'll go looking on their own. We don't need classrooms full of children being told that they might be gay or trans or any of the other 6736564 sexualities by some wacky liberal teacher bringing their identity politics into t…

I personally don't think it's a good thing because it ends up with kids becoming confused about who they are if they don't fit neatly into either box (traditionally/stereotypically feminine or traditionally/stereotypically masculine). They need to grow into their own bodies first before considering that they "are _____" and trying to conform to that identity because they think it's who they are. Many lost and confused kids get influenced by the LGBTQ community into thinking that they're gay, bi,…

Most women are naturally skinny without any exercise or dieting Lol no. Women that are "naturally skinny without any exercise or dieting" are barely eating to stay skinny or have some kind of eating disorder tied with their image issues. If you think that women can sit around eating all day and stay "naturally skinny without any exercise or dieting," you are delusional.

I don't need a #GymGirl but it's a plus if she shows that she takes care of herself. Some regular exercise and eating healthy with few unhealthy things here and there is fine. I don't want a blob that comes home from work and eats for the rest of the day while watching Netflix/Hulu/etc. Edit: Most guys would prefer somewhere around here, not here.

Women are less violent, aggressive, and rapey than men no matter where they are in the world. They're also more empathetic, more self-sacrificing, and more generous. Not by choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 07:24 PM
8

I mean this isn't really a controversial opinion. All men have to learn how to approach women since women don't really approach at all. That means that men bare the risk of making women uncomfortable and it then becomes a game of "How to approach a woman in the least conspicuous way possible." It would help if people could be more transparent and stop with the games, but we for some reason just can't have that.

Sounds like you're describing your own personal taste and applying it to what women like while your boyfriend is wrong about women liking Chris Hemsworth because you don't. I searched this Chishiya character and the actor playing him still has a certain type of face that women would go for. He has angular features but the hair gives him an androgynous flair. His more aggressive-looking features would pop out without it.

Psychology today is pretty often cited in informal spaces Yes, usually by people who quickly googled something and copy-pasted the first or second search result without reading it because they think it says what they want it to say. I was aware of the research but I had to find a citation. 2015 isn't a long time when it comes to scientific research. It is when your own source doesn't draw any conclusions at all. I see women on social media saying it irl so they're out there saying it irl. I suppose it might be situational as well. When they're out and feeling good about themselves, they're "10s," but when they're chilling with their friends, the number is still probably not accurate but more modest.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:57 PM

Ah, okay. Had to doublecheck. I mean, comparatively, that is still high within the "normal" range. I believe around 500 is considered the "average" for men while men who have 800 are noticeably different from men around that average.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:54 PM

Interesting. Thanks for the info. However, according to another comment, a woman's T level at 50 would be considered higher than normal, so I think that would have similar outcomes that anyone with higher than normal T levels would experience (given that everything is still balanced).

This seems to be a species-wide problem though. Men and women both give women passes for almost no reason. I'm starting to think it has something to do with infantilization and the desire to protect.

But they also are way smaller. Not "way" smaller. Most women are only a few inches shorter than most men. The other reasons you're listing are because they have less testosterone. They don't have less testosterone because they're smaller. can have less testosterone and still have the same sex drive. No. It's functionally different. I got a hot question: Why is it that women are mostly assumed to be doing everything right or putting in their share of effort automatically? Women assume themselves to be "worth it" while men have to prove it. Women all rate themselves very highly ("I'm a 10") without any justification. Women are assumed to be putting in their share of the effort while dating, in relationships, in the bedroom, etc., while any failure or dissatisfaction with any of these things usually falls on the man to accoun…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:49 AM

No, it doesn't. You're both paying for each other at different times when you pay in turns. Splitting the bill is paying for yourself except one person is paying partly for the other if they both didn't buy the exact same things. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a point in splitting the bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:42 AM

If they like you, you're good (even if you're not), and if they don't like you, you're either a weirdo, a creep, an asshole, or all of the above and you also have a small dick (even if none of that is true except for the last part which was a lucky guess).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:21 AM

The inverse reality. Gotta love it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:18 AM

Mostly yeah, but it comes in verbal form when someone has to tell you to read the room.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:18 AM

"Read the room" means "be perceptive of what people are thinking and feeling." It's sort of like when you're walking into a room full of people after leaving a good time with your friends and everyone is standing around not saying anything with solemn looks on their faces. It's obvious that something bad happened but you're still in party mode and haven't noticed yet so you come in making a lot of noise and trying to be chummy with people until someone approaches you and quietly says "can't you …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:50 AM

Man that's kinda scary, honestly. I think groups like that are problematic for dating because one bad experience with some crazy bitch means she's going to tell everyone that you're an asshole or some other person to avoid and of course women will take her at her word without ever confirming for themselves because that's what women do. Especially those types of women who join gossip groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:39 AM

Then they eat each other out and that's free :D
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:35 AM

I prefer Connect Once.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:34 AM

Sounds interesting but be prepared because it sounds like the only women that'll be on there are paranoid drama-prone gossipers and crazies.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:32 AM

The idea is that all men pay for sex in one form or another if they're with a woman. If he's spent money on you in the past, that counts. There aren't many women out there that a guy can simply talk to without spending any money on in some way, shape or form that will have sex with him on a consistent basis.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:29 AM

If you don't get approached by women as a man you can safely assume you're *in North America.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:27 AM

I'm only going off of the OPs post. The US is the fattest country in the world because of the dietary structure and unhealthy relationship with food, yes, but if that's what we're talking about, then we should stay on topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:25 AM

Women asking has been trending upwards for decades. <1% to <5% isn't a huge jump. Not even worth mentioning, honestly. It will continue to increase in frequency. Time will tell, but probably not as much as is needed, and definitely not 50%. Equality is a BS concept that never applies to the people wanting it. What they really wanted was equity. Dating patterns take time to change. It's only been within the last 30-40 years that women have been able to gain more financial independence to pay for …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:44 AM

How many people would agree that if you can take someone's value away from them (i.e., basically most physical things) then they weren't really that valuable? I'm of the opinion that most of a person's value comes from their internal qualities, like their outlook on life, their desire to want to see others happy and well, the effort they put forth to accomplish things, all of their acquired knowledge and understanding of the world around them, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:34 AM

Which is almost always going to be men by default because women rarely ever ask. They know that men will because they expect men to, so this opinion is bunk.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:28 AM

For sure. I guess what I'm saying is that self-centeredness or actual blatant selfishness from a partner or partners in a relationship is more a symptom of problems exiting than the cause of those problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:26 AM
19

Which "discussions" are you talking about? There's the "I like overweight women because some of them are still hot" discussion that you reference in the top portion of the post, and then there's the "overweight women are gross and nasty" which are the unattractive overweight women you're referencing in the bottom of the post.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:14 AM
3

Disagree to a point. From what I've noticed, people generally become more selfish in relationships when their needs aren't being met. If they're being neglected or abused by their partner, or have other problems outside of the relationship such as financial, career or social, they become more self-centered and that's what leads to more problems in their relationship. People seek out relationships typically for selfish reasons, but the focus is on the object of their feelings = the other person.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 01:12 AM

Post is true. Women do this in many other situations to avoid saying the truth. The tactics are deflect by changing the subject detract focus by generalizing or whataboutism ad-hominem attacks

Yes, women are more needy than men. Women typically desire more expensive lifestyles than men, and typically want men around so they have someone to do things for them.

Yes and no. Really depends on who you're saying it to. People who don't know what love is probably won't find it because they don't know what it looks like. Also, I think there are people who are just unlovable. Their personalities are so grating or toxic that nobody would want to be around them for too long. No matter how long they wait, love isn't likely to come to them. However, if you're a person that is making the effort to change and improve, then looking too hard for love might not be the…

Sorry but unless you're on the spectrum and don't understand, most dating communication happens non-verbally. Matter of fact, most of what we communicate to others is non-verbal. People aren't talking this out like you're imagining. They're making assumptions and waiting for the other person to do something that tells them how to respond next. There is no "hey, just to be clear, I'm only doing this because I'm interested and I want to be in a relationship with you in the future." Especially not …

Transactional relationships require consent. I hope you realize this is all happening implicitly and non-verbally. Consent doesn't have to be a verbal admission. That's where the "covert" part comes in. Overt would be what you're talking about, where everything is all out in the open and plainly understood by both parties.

Can't really argue for that when women see themselves as a resource. My point stands. If women don't want to be seen as a resource, they need to stop being the cause of that problem, and it's a quite a bit more than just "some women" here. Females of different species exchange sex for resources. Its a legit behavioral trait among animals, if you didn't know. There's also an experiment where chimpanzees were taught to use money and the females began exchanging sex for money. More proof for you th…

women being used as a resource against their will. That's the part you seem to be confused about. Multiple times it's been said already that women are not "being used as a resource against their will." They are willfully doing it on their own, to themselves. They are the cause of their own problem that the OP is stating.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 08:25 PM

That's not what I said. I'd recommend reading again. Depending on the woman, they'll make the attractive guys do the same too. Attractive men can still fail if they don't check the woman's boxes. Some women just have fewer boxes. That's probably what you're getting hung up on.

Actually no, the draft and voluntarily signing up for the military are not the same thing at all because the draft is forced and there is no choice. If women had no choice but to use sex to get what they wanted, then your comparison would be more accurate, but alas, it's not.

I never knew society changed. Yes a lot of things have been happening over the last 30 years. Where’s the brochure for the update? Or should we just ask you how things work I'd recommend brushing up on recent and current events and history over the last 60 years.

It can be both.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 07:28 PM

It's by priority. Men being the larger demographic of the two makes it more of a priority to address their problems first.

Not really, but you can think so if you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 07:18 PM
22

If there are more men that are being affected by societal changes than there are women, then it makes sense to focus on men more since they're the larger demographic. Focusing on everyone equally when they're being affected by different problems isn't the solution or the answer to the OPs post.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 06:48 PM
13

The men she wan't does not want her, Right, and because those women are only going after more attractive men who don't want them, that's why they are alone. It's not the same reason why their equals of the opposite sex are alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 06:30 PM
40

Yeah, I disagree. If you're saying that there's just as many women as there are men sitting around sad and lonely because nobody wants them, I'm hesitant to believe that. In most cases, they're alone because they rejected the men that have shown interest, even if that number is much lower than their more attractive peers have been getting.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 06:08 PM
8

Not true. Women do this with dating as well. They expect men to do certain things that cater to their fantasies and if they fail to do so, like plan "the perfect date" and be the perfect guy, then he's not getting in her panties. For the attractive guys, they've already fulfilled the biggest requirement, which is being attractive, and they may or may not have to do a little more, depending on the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 06:04 PM
1

this hypothetical woman never agreed to like some guy back because he was nice. And she doesn't have to. That's why it has nothing to do with consent. OP is claiming that the actual problem isn't the problem and injecting "consent" into the situation as though women have to consent to some perceived relationship that those men are trying to push onto women. In other words, OP is making women out to be victims here with a baseless claim that neither applies nor makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 05:53 PM
8

No. It's basically a covert "quid pro quo" contract, as in "I expect x, y, and z to be done, and until they are done, you get no sex." Most commonly seen in marriage but can be seen all across the dating world as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 05:50 PM

How about a different take: The world is like those men say that it is and there is no incentive for them to act differently or "mature" and improve themselves because there is no guarantee of success if they do. Many men improve themselves and mature and still fail, which points to the conclusion above. So, it seems more like society is the problem and those men don't have control over it, but society points the finger at them instead of itself because people feel justified in doing what they w…

Everyone has different values so the answers aren't going to be the same. Personally speaking, I think a "high value male" is a guy that is mature when it matters, knows who he is, what he wants and what's important in life, has good values, a sound mind and good judgement, and always seeks to improve and excel in all areas in his life. He doesn't have to be wealthy, conventionally attractive, and everything else that people might say in regard to this question.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:24 PM
27

Sorry but women shoot themselves in the foot here by using sex as leverage, so if they don't want to be treated as a resource that is handed out for good behavior, then they should stop doing it to themselves first.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:16 PM
7

I'm sorry but nobody is being forced into a relationship here, so consent is irrelevant. How exactly is it the woman that feels scammed here? The guys were likely told that all they had to do was "be nice" to women, so they were nice to women and nothing happened because that's not how it works. If anything, they were scammed. The woman had no intention of getting into a relationship so she's not being scammed out of anything she owns or possesses by accepting kindness from those men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:14 PM

Consent is just a word for permission or agree/agreement. I don’t think OP is directly talking about sex when they say that in title. "Permission" is not involved and not needed. OP talks like "nice guys" are trying to force women into a relationship and that's bollocks. I'm not sure what is hard to understand about that. Also, in most cases, these women were fine with going out with the guys until they began trying to steer things into a relationship. this hypothetical woman didn’t ever agree t…

I'm sorry but you're confusing the effect for the cause. You're looking at men reacting/responding to the world and saying that they're the reason for the world treating them that way, which isn't really much different from a woman rejecting a man and using his reaction as justification for rejecting him. It's nonsense. It's a way to avoid saying the actual reason because nobody wants to take responsibility for being the reason.

an old lady There's the problem. Nothing new here. It's easy to see that women have a trend of misinterpreting interest and are so ego-driven that they immediately start accusing instead of questioning whether they're viewing the situation accurately.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:25 PM
4

No, the women don't like "nice guys" because the guys were just acting nice and expecting to be liked back because they were nice. It has nothing to do with "consent," which is a pretty nonsensical take, honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:19 PM

Sounds like it's really all in her head.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:24 PM

The 80's? No. Maybe the 50s and part of the 60s and 70s but things have gotten tougher for men as time progressed. It was easier before women started entering the workforce in large numbers because there was more jobs and the dollar was worth more.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:14 PM

Sending dick pics is not a fetish. Exhibitionists would do far more than that, and not just to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:04 PM

Maybe that never precludes you in believing in the next attractive stranger, I dunno. Well, I think a lot of people keep their hopes up if it seems like they can get attractive strangers, but the mounting failures will take their toll if it goes on for long enough. In my experience, women will keep holding out hoping for that one because that one is all they need, even if they're miserable until they get there.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:19 AM
1

Lol. I guess the responses will be the same for nearly all of them unless you get that one Alaskan Bull Worm that's just too majestic and too glorious to give a generic rejection response to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:14 AM
1

Well if they did actually have a worm down there instead of a dick, I'd probably suggest the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:07 AM

That would be great, but if there's any length of time spent around them, I'll start to get to know them and separate them by personality ("Sarah's a bitch, Jennifer is nice, I really like Rachel, Amanda is cool, etc,").
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:05 AM
1

They're definitely out there, but I'd say only one or two out of a hundred. You may get lucky and find more if the women are horny, but that's about the average. Still, the more exaggerated the approach, the more exaggerated the response. Whether it's a big "worm" or a guy acting crazy and silly, women are more likely to respond than if it's a normal "worm" or a flat, simple approach.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 04:01 AM
3

No I'm a man. But I feel like if I was in a woman's shoes this is how I would feel from like a strict game theory interpretation. Ah, I see. I mean you don't think they are questioning the motivations of an incredibly attractive guy approaching them if they are otherwise average? Not really. Logical thought usually goes out the window when an attractive stranger is talking to you. To the point I made in my original post, if some supermodel was interested in me, I'd know that it would be a one ti…

They work with women who like them. It's more like fishing. They throw out the worm and see if they get a bite. There's a lot of waiting, but they eventually do get one if they've got the right bait and a good presentation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:49 AM

Men tend to go with what works or what they've heard works for other people, even if it doesn't work for them. Matter of fact, I think everyone does that. People do what they do because it worked for them or worked for someone else. Typically, the more exaggerated, abnormal or aggressive the approach, the greater the response, whether it be positive or negative, and most are hoping for the positive. Plain, boring and neutral is sure to get an equal response and nobody wants that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:41 AM
7

Are you speaking from the perspective of a woman here? I don't think women are turning down supermodels or telling themselves that they're not attractive enough for people of that caliber. Whoever they catch looking and whoever is showing interest or approaching and trying to sleep with them - that's who they think they're good enough for, whether it be a shlubby guy or the supermodel. It's usually only when there is repeat failures with men that they want but can't get do they start thinking th…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:36 AM

Meh. Once you're working together, you see more of who they are and less of what they look like. One semester in college, there was a very attractive woman in our class, like trophy wife material. Pretty face, slim, nice boobs, fat ass, all natural. Nearly every guy was zoned in on her while she was there at the start of the semester, but after being in class for so long, she just became a normal, albeit beautiful classmate.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:25 AM

Maybe that's how those men show interest? Hate to say it but "Hey, how are you" doesn't get as much of a response as "Hi dear, show bobs and vagene please."
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:20 AM
14

So you would then have diverging interests where you obviously want the most attractive man you could get, I'm not sure if any woman really knows what is the most attractive man they can (actually) get. If they're having sex with attractive men but can't get them to commit, then they can't get those men, try as they might. Maybe the most attractive man they can get is not all that attractive but they refuse to accept less because they think they can get better.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:17 AM

I’ve noticed a lot of women posting memes and jokes about how they don’t believe in love or how fun it is to cheat. It’s even reached a point where I’ve seen Tik toks and had women admit that the men are starting to treat them better but they don’t care because being savage is a way of life lol. There’s even a trend encouraging women to hurt men when possible. Sounds like they love getting beat.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:13 AM

It's not that they particularly "like" those traits. Men with those traits tend to be more charming because they have to be in order to manipulate people, and that's what the women like.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:09 AM

Is them being attractive supposed to matter?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:07 AM

It's because most men aren't gay. Therefore they cut men before they cut women. Women are also a bit more indecisive and more group oriented whereas men are a bit more individualized so no need for group benefits or affiliation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:06 AM

You absolutely can make fun of people who are fat. It's even easier to make fun of fat people because there is more of them to talk about.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:02 AM

More than a handful of men would be interested in a committed relationship, but those women don't want those men for the committed relationship, and therein lies the problem of why nobody can be happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:01 AM

Nah, it's everyone. Women aren't making up much of the difference there. Everyone needs to get up to the 120 or 130 range, which is one or two standard deviations, and would be a noticeable difference.

Self-esteem does not impact luck. Luck happens apart from how you feel about yourself. You can't force luck to happen. Otherwise, it's not luck. It's only increasing your odds of something happening. Of course, you can say that you "miss 100% of the shots you don't take," but luck is something that makes an almost impossible shot happen. Luck is going about your life and something great happens unintentionally. You can't intend to be lucky. You have no control over it.

Untrue. Self-esteem doesn't have anything to do with luck. Some people are just more lucky and some people are unlucky. Their self-esteem doesn't contribute to it at all. It's actually more likely to be the inverse - luck boosts self-esteem. Self-esteem only has an effect on how you'll feel about your lot in life. Some people think poorly of themselves despite great success, and some people walk around with a smile and their head held high with almost no friends and the bare necessities.

The guys you're talking about here are having trouble just securing a date with a woman. You're going further down the line than their experience permits.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:44 PM
1

Do you think if a woman asked the answers would be all about her comfort/pleasure? I've seen people basically respond the same way by saying "make sure you're comfortable and that you tell him what you want him to do." It's still mostly centered around the woman regardless of who asks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:42 PM

He's a virgin. The first time usually doesn't go very well. That's why he should focus on himself and getting used to it. Otherwise, he's only going to know how to please women and who knows what they're doing in return.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:40 PM

Well unless the clit is on women's foreheads, it hardly has any relevance to talking and meeting up with women on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:26 PM

I suppose that's a normal thought but I'm asking why people generally focus all talk about sex on the woman, as if women are just passive participants.

Yeah but as a literal virgin, he should be focusing on himself more because he doesn't know what he needs to do with his own body. Just putting it in and having a seizure isn't going to make anything happen. He should be focusing about how he feels just as much as how she feels and it's really on her if she's more experienced to help by putting in some effort on her end.

Some people just look better with a little more bodyfat on them. Anne Hathaway is an example. She's currently pretty thin and doesn't look as good as she did in previous movies when she was a little thicker.

Why does everyone's focus on sex seem to be centered around the woman? I saw a post last night where a 39 year old virgin man was asking for advice about having sex for the first time with his current girlfriend. Nearly every single reply was "be attentive to her and what she responds to" or "ask her what she likes" or "focus on the clit." Only a few responses with a few dozen upvotes were saying "it's your first time, don't worry about her" with some replies to them being "this is bad advice. M…

Nah that's shitty. You communicated with them enough to want to go out with them and coordinate a date to meet up but you can't tell them you're not feeling it? Yeah I think OP is vaguely referencing infatuation and young people feels here as well. The only people I see that are passionately kissing at any point in time are couples, people in romance movies, and goddamn teenagers who don't know anything about love yet.

The problem with your stance is people can have no physical chemistry indicators, which is false. Well good because that's not what I said or implied. I said that people don't have to have your same indicator of chemistry though you seem to place a lot of value on it as an indicator, and making a claim that they must not be interested if they don't share your indicator.

Still assuming that everyone kisses the same way. Not everyone immediately goes for tongue in mouth "passion" like you're describing out of some movie scene as the first kiss, nor do they have to as some indicator of physical chemistry. This post has the same energy as "If she doesn't put out by the third date, she's not really interested."

I've kissed multiple girls in less than 3 minutes of knowing them - some of the most passionate kisses I've had - like seriously my heart was like 200. You might say the girl was faking it - but I wasn't. Yes, I've seen young adults and teenagers doing exactly the same thing you're describing. Sounds like you were in your feels but it doesn't mean much of anything, really. Just surface-level feelings. Same goes for a lot of other young or inexperienced people in the same situation.

The reasons for why someone might is they're either trying too hard, or they're faking it. "Passionate kissing" isn't a preference that people just do. It's something that most people either feel or they don't, and it's not likely that you're going to feel something like that with someone you've just met unless you're faking it for the romantic fantasy. A lot of people have ideas about dating and romance that they try to imitate in the moment because they think it's what they're supposed to do, …

Yes, it does benefit them. Marriage provides stability and security to both people in the relationship and makes all assets acquired during the marriage joint assets which are split and usually is to the woman's benefit. "The orgasm gap" doesn't refer to marriages, but sex life typically declines in both quality and frequency the longer the marriage continues.

Anybody else here actually try to not look attractive at all to other people? I dress in a t-shirt, shorts and sandals most of the time and my hair is either in "just took a shower" or "whatever" - mode. This is quite literally how insurance is supposed to work. Then you do understand the physical limitations of everyone expecting to receive more than they contribute, don't you? The only way this actually works is if there are people who pay into but do not utilize the insurance at all for long periods of time and people who utilize the insurance frequently, as is the case. Why do you think women aren’t capable of going at it alone? Biologically speaking, women are more inclined to seek out protection and provisions from men or from groups, as that is how we adapted and evolved to survive. Men don't share that same inclination although group affiliation increases individual survival as seen in most other animals. Aren’t most single parents moms? Proving that women are in fact more capable of going at it alone and providing for their family at the same time? No, act…

Men want and desire sex, companionship, and interaction with the opposite sex FAR more than the other way around. That's because of supply and demand, mostly. The supply is far greater than the demand so it appears as though women don't want it as much while men want more because a lot of men's supply is almost non-existent for that same reason, which drives the demand up even more. Men are still at the top even if there are far fewer of them than there are near the middle and bottom.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 05:12 PM

I disagree. Women will always be in the market looking for men as much as men are in the market looking for women. The clincher here is that women will always need someone around for their own individual survival and wellbeing (i.e., usually a man), but men don't need women in the same way, as men are capable of and more willing to go it alone. Thus, as with most things, men are at the top and bottom of the hierarchy, and the only men who say that women are above them are the ones looking up.

Not even pets love unconditionally. You give them food, scritches and security. They don't love you automatically unless they've become conditioned to associate you with someone else who has given them these things. Anyway, I don't think it's prudent to generalize "men" from the responses of men from this particular subreddit. Everyone who enters into a relationship is doing so with an expectation that it won't be a short-term thing.

Women vetting men doesn't include exes sharing private contextual messages of their relationship to strangers. It's up to those current partners to vet the man themselves. A former partner going out of their way to make someone's new partners think they're a bad person says more about the ex than it does about the person they're trying to smear.

Yeah I'm gonna have to disagree. Some women just don't have the genetics in them for thickness and so they remain small and thin no matter how hard they try. Others just don't have the right shaped ass to make it look good with exercise. It'll look okay. It'll look like an ass, but just not a good-looking one.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:26 AM
1

Idk about that unless you're including plastic surgery for the ass as well. I've seen fit women that just have a skinny, average ass. You have to have the genetics to build muscle and already have some ass to get the ass you're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:19 AM

I agree there but that's why I'm an ass man. Boobs are fine no matter what size they are but a small ass just doesn't do it for me beyond a certain size because they lose shape as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:13 AM

Good to know
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:11 AM

Same here but there definitely are nice fake tits out there. Just depends on how big the women want them and how much extra skin they have to allow for the implants to fit. Skinny women wanting big tits generally doesn't work out too well, but if they're bigger women with smallish tits, they'll look better with proportional implants.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:08 AM

No. He'd struggle to get the same women without money and fame. He's a fairly average, generic-looking guy and doesn't strike me as someone who can smooth-talk women like that, so his attractiveness to women is mostly in boosting their own image and status by association. Also, his current GF is cute but not anywhere near a 9. More like a 6 at best. Ex-gf is a 7.5.

So being "around" is sufficient? Yes. Ok, maybe I'm not being clear in what I am asking. Let me rephrase... HOW does a guy become our rock? Not "How does protection work AFTER you're our rock?" He's been with you for long enough that you feel reassured when you're with him because you've seen him handle situations already. Women also "test" men while in relationships with them to reassure themselves that they're with the right guy.

That's awesome. Always happy to hear when people find their places. I'm still struggling to find mine but that's mostly because I neglect myself for others a lot of the time, hence my career path. Hopefully everything works out for the both of us lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 05:22 PM

I did. When you're around, they're calm, comfortable, and look to you when questionable situations happen because you're expected to make them feel secure and protected. You're "their rock." Single women feel vulnerable most of the time when they're alone so a lot of them seek out other women or relationships to help get rid of those feelings of fear and uncertainty.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 05:19 PM

By making them feel secure in their mind, as in there is nothing wrong or that could go wrong with you around.

They don't. By default, most men look masculine, because they are men. Looking masculine doesn't have anything to do with masculinity. Anyway, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you over a word that has no objective definition anyway. You can believe whatever you want is "masculinity."

What, my heart's calling? Alternative dispute resolution. Mediation, restorative practices, conflict coaching, pretty much anything that encourages people to find common ground instead of taking it to the courts/knifing each other. So similar to therapy or counseling? That's where I'm headed. I'm going to be broke for a long time doing this and you know? I think I can accept that. Normies with a twist are where it's at, my lad. :) Difficult to find though, unfortunately. I come here because I like the debates and I can't get similar elsewhere -- and then I go to work and follow my heart's calling and get even more validation from that. I lean a little nerdy but yeah, for the most part I'm the norm, not anyone with a major social media presence. What might that be, if I may ask?

Yes, men get "icks" from women like if they're coming off as desperate and start whining about why the guys didn't do something pertaining to them, for example.

So what you're saying is you're moving the goalposts. No. They're just additional men that were implicitly included but not mentioned, as women typically reject and discard those men. That said, the small penises would be fine. Not Mr. Childlike, though. I'm profoundly disinterested in children. Hairy isn't an automatic no, provided he's willing to manscape (after all, I shave). Negative. Feelings are not logical. Women can get icks for many different, silly reasons. Similar to when women call men "creepy," there's no objective features or behaviors present that makes the guy "creepy." It's whatever the woman personally feels in response to the man she's labeling as creepy.

By immature I mean "child-like," doesn't have their life together yet, makes stupid jokes or has an immature sense of humor, or still has childish hobbies like playing video games or with Legos. Oh, I forgot to mention a lot of them might not be very attractive, too. Overweight, hairy, short, insecure, and/or have small penises. You still up for that?

I can't speak for "most people" but I'll say that I'm content with being single. I think there are things to be "happy" with on both sides: getting to do what you want vs spending time with someone of the opposite sex that gets you. Some people simply focus on the good sides of whatever they're doing.

The reason why women are often so contradictory and complex communicatively is in my opinion because they are the selectors. Women and men are both the selectors, currently. My question in this context is: why is dating advice always be considered sexist? No matter how slightly we psychoanalyze women it will always be downplayed and shamed. Certain tendencies are simply very frequent and can most often only be recognized by men because they are more aware of such behaviors. In my opinion men rat…

"The ick" happens when a woman's perception of a man doesn't match who he ends up being. If she thinks he's cute or handsome and masculine-looking but he ends up being an immature nerdy dork: ick. If she thinks he's mature and level-headed but he ends up road-raging while driving places: ick. Doesn't really have anything to do with masculinity.

So, send me the men who have never had children. :) You sure you want them? A lot of them will be a little weird, immature, some of them autistic, or just kind of awkward. But I'll ask a question I've asked elsewhere: what, to you, is an eligible woman? Of any age, not just the one you're looking for? An eligible woman is a woman who is mature, honest, kind, knows what she wants, takes care of herself, puts in effort, is mentally stable, and not promiscuous.

i mean, yeah, sure, if you're being disingenuous you can say people have the Freedom: like the freedom to refuse an ambulance and take an Uber to the Emergency Room to save on cost. That's not disingenuous to say because it is true. Also, ambulances are emergency services, not rights that people don't have to pay for. Nobody is owed the right to someone else's service for existing no matter who they are. You want service? You gotta pay for it. There's no reasonable expectation to be provided fre…

Their lack of financial planning and preparation doesn't negate their freedom or liberty either. I'm aware of those things but not exactly sure what stipulations they have placed on their funds by the government. It kind of seems like organizations spend a lot of money on BS like this to avoid legal fines and fees or taxes, similar to billionaires holding a lot of their wealth in stocks because the government can't touch it the same as if it was in their bank account.

What about it? They'd pay just the same as anyone else would have to, or find donors, grants or insurance that would help them pay for treatment. Car collision insurance already has medical coverage options, doesn't it? I mean it kind of makes sense why health insurance wouldn't include car collision injuries if automotive insurance already provides coverage for those things. As for the chemo, those are one of the costliest forms of treatment and it is ongoing, so I think that's more of a protective measure on their end since having hundreds or thousands of people seeking treatment for chemo would likely dry up a lot of the available fund…

I wouldn't consider myself "conservative" but I think everyone is responsible for their own personal health. The government tends to stay away from most things involving people's personal lives because we have concepts like "freedom" and "liberty" that everyone has a right to, and the government doesn't want to fund people's personal lives in any way (social safety nets aside). I'd argue that there aren't very many actual eligible women out there either but the focus always seems to be on whether men are eligible or not while women are always assumed (or assume themselves) to be eligible by default for whatever the reason. Whats your point? I lost it after you excluded blue collar jobs. The roles that women choose are roles that typically would be considered female roles anyway. They aren't going into those fields because they're forced to or feel they need to. They willingly choose those fields because they're easier for women to do.

I'm convinced that's also mostly a problem for the dumbs as well. Apparently less intelligent people are happier than intelligent people but I think more intelligent people are better at controlling themselves or figuring themselves out so that it's less of a problem for them than it would be for people that lacked the self-awarenss needed to do so. So yeah, it would be a lot better if the collective IQ of the world was higher than it is right now.

You can't be taught to distrust or fear a whole group of people. Women are innately fearful or insecure about a lot of things in life - men would qualify as one of those things. The impact of this fear or distrust in dating is that the guys who are good at maneuvering around women's security walls are the guys who they end up with, whether the guy is a decent guy or a lying abusive manipulator.

Depends on what you mean by "that bad." It's heavily dependent on location but online dating is a terrible experience in general for everyone due to how people treat it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 06:50 PM

There's more available people out there at 30 and beyond, yes. That's the age where people get washed back out into the dating world due to old relationships/marriages ending. There are fewer people around at younger ages because everyone is dating ("love is wasted on the young").

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 04:20 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 04:19 PM

Yeah I've seen people's demeanors change instantly after I smiled at them. Apparently I look friendly when I smile but mean when i don't, so ill have to walk around smiling like a clown if I want people to think differently of me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 04:17 PM

Q4All: what would you do if it seemed like people were responding negatively toward you and treating you poorly because of your face? I don't have a friendly face and I've overheard some women in college say that I look mean as they passed by me. I've even had some women look scared of me like they think that I might try to do something bad to them. I guess I have a "villain" face. What would you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 04:03 PM
1

Yes, that's me 🤖
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 03:40 AM

Nope. Unless I bring it up myself, they say nothing. Always. Never had a single woman ever say "So...what's going on/why did you turn me down?" They likely don't want to hear the answer so they don't ever ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 03:10 AM

Yeah, that never happens. Women always go through all of this stuff non-verbally. A lot of them have been foreigners so I assumed that the potential marriage/citizenship route was among the reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 01:51 AM

Depends on what they want. All the guys are looking for is sex so that's what they push for. For the women I've encountered, I don't know exactly what they were after, but they definitely wanted to have sex before I was able to find out.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 01:40 AM

I'm more of a magna cum laude - kind of guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 01:39 AM

I'm faced with the age-old question that men ask themselves everyday: "To cum, or not to cum, that is the question."
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 01:31 AM

Nope. Same degree. In my experience, women that have been interested want to have sex much faster than was possible for me. Not having sex with them saved me from a lot of drama and wasted time. If something about them seems a bit off, I hold back and wait to see if I was right.

It's cross-cultural. Women all over the world find taller men attractive. Height is something that has been studied in the social sphere and taller men are automatically seen as more attractive, more capable, and more of an authority figure than shorter men are. That's why you typically won't see a short man as a chief executive or most high-status positions.

Would've probably taken the same amount of effort to write something else about them other than how good at sex they are, honestly.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:03 PM

Negative, Sir. All love is conditional. I'm not talking about unconditional love. I'm talking about once you love a person, you choose to continue loving them because you do, not because you were attracted to them or because it was convenient for you, as is the case with relationships. A lot of my friends don't do much for me and they're not very good friends, but I continue doing things for and being there for them because I actually love them and want to see them happy and well. That would be …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:01 PM
1

It sounds like comfortability and familiarity, which aren't themselves love. If said partner left you, would you still love them the same, or is your idea of love based on the condition that they have to be with you in order for you to love them? If it's the latter, I wouldn't call that love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 04:47 PM

Such as actual love. Have you not been following this entire time?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 04:35 PM

Yes. What most people call "love" is just attraction, which is a complex group of things that our brains have programmed to help us survive (and pass on our genes). I'm suggesting that there's a conceptual love that goes beyond that.

As opposed to relationships with more substance, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:37 PM

Nope. All love is conditional on at least something, like a person or idea of a person existing. I'm only saying that what people in relationships think is love isn't really love, and that's why most of them fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:35 PM

Not what I said. I said people end up with someone because someone is better than no one in their case.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:30 PM

Love isn't based on compatibility or feelings of similarity, and doesn't involve being in a relationship with someone at all either. You're talking about attraction, not love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:24 PM
1

You don't have to be in a relationship to love someone either. That's why I say that people who claim to love someone but would love them less or not at all if that person wasn't reciprocating don't actually love them.

Yeah sorry but I don't believe in "the one" or "soulmates." Whether you were the right person at the time for someone or not seems to be the deciding factor in how long it worked out for you and that's it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:07 PM
1

Idk about that. There are many people out there that something like that could happen with, not just one, even if that's all people feel like they need.

Could be 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 02:56 PM

I think you can love someone and still be incompatible with them. Of course. Loving someone isn't about your compatibility or based on how good they treat you. If it is, it's not love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 02:56 PM
1

Feelings that are deeper than and go beyond the possessiveness of simple attraction. Actual love is about wanting the other person to be happy and well regardless of where they are or who they're with.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 02:54 PM
1

You don't need to be attracted to someone to love them. However, that only helps make my case that attraction isn't love and thats why relationships based mostly on attraction fail pretty quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 02:50 PM
1

Because women like men who are able to do things. They expect men to be able to do things. Things that they can't or won't do. They're attracted to men who do things because those men are useful, and we like things that are useful.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 02:42 PM

Most relationships fail because they aren't based on actual love. Agre or disagre?

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:46 PM

I didn't say that you could. You can exaggerate it a little bit though. There are muscles that can be worked out around the hip area that would add size and some shape to the hips.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:39 PM

Most women you see in your life won't look like that naturally. It would take genetics and exercise and/or PEDS for women to have that hip curvature. Either that or surgery.

Being a person worthy of social proof can be separate from actually having it. It's the same as having any ability to do something without needing to be seen doing it. Someone who is interested in you will be able to notice who you are without having other people there to give you their stamp of approval. Someone who needs the stamp of approval from others is probably someone who needs approval from people in general (i.e., no mind of their own, so pass).
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:37 AM
4

It's because feelings override logic and reason. People pick apart everyone for the tiniest things before they ever go on a date with them, but once they're hooked, they're more forgiving of things that would have sent them running in the beginning. That's often why people hide the unsavory parts about themselves until later in the relationship when the other person is more likely to overlook them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 03:34 AM

what's considered mentally healthy is subject to definitional politics. Uhh.. not really. What's considered mentally healthy (or just healthy in general) depends on the level of harm or negative consequence to the individual or to those around the individual. If someone is not physically healthy, there are certain objective markers for that, like irregular heartbeat or arterial calcification. If someone is not mentally healthy, their mental health is measured in certain parameters that determine…

Ah, interesting. From a few of my own personal anecdotal and some friends' experiences with people from South America, I noticed that they seem to have some narcissism flowing around down there. A friend of mine that's seeing a woman in Chile is describing her as a narcissist and I have family I know of from Brazil who a few of them display some narcissistic traits as well. That's why I'm asking what other people's experiences with foreigners having some type of personality abnormality or disord…

Idk about that "loving relationship" part because that's never a guarantee unless you're just talking about the appearance of it, but yeah, I don't like lying to people so I wouldn't lie about particular questions that arose in conversation.

Oh, so you just won't mention stuff that doesn't affect you or your partner, right? Just like the woman who's not a virgin won't mention that fact, because it doesn't affect her or her partner. They're different things. A fetish or fantasy is something that would affect a partner if they agreed to it. Past partners is something that could potentially affect a future partner without them knowing. I know nearly everyone on the planet has at least one form of herpes right now but that doesn't mean …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 01:31 AM

I explained that "Mentally normal" = mentally healthy or "not having some kind of personality disorder at a level that would be diagnosable." If nearly everyone in a particular place had some kind of clinical level personality disorder, that wouldn't be a good thing, or in this context, not "normal."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 01:27 AM
1

Uhhh...... I mean fetishes or fantasies don't need to be brought out into the relationship. I'd still want to do some things like have sex in public places or outside, but the other stuff that doesn't involve me or my partner doesn't need to be mentioned at all. I don't think I'd try to hide what I like but I wouldn't want to be judged as if one particular thing was the only thing I was into, which people have a habit of doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 01:23 AM

Got a serious topic to talk about here that I'd like input on. For those who have experience with foreigners, how was the experience? I ask because there's a bit of a hypothesis that people with personality disorders run rampant in other parts of the world. In places where people have to be socially crafty to survive, personality disorders might give people an advantage over those who don't have one, and when I say "personality disorder," I mean things like Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Soc…

I'm 100% honest about myself so yeah, I don't need to feel shame for being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:53 AM

Depends on your definition of "curvy." If curvy is code for "obese," then no, but if you mean a slim woman with an hourglass figure, then yeah. I like both but hips that are too narrow don't look very appealing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:52 AM
1

No. You don't have to have sex to cheat on your partner. Anything sexual would be considered cheating, but if they didn't have sex, then they didn't have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:41 AM
1

Never said it wasn't. Just that most women never orgasm from actual sex so it would seem like sex "sucks" for women based on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:33 AM
0

It is. You can refer to it how you want, but unless you have intercourse, it's not sex. Anal is the only blurred-line in there because there's penetration involved, but still not really sex. If some guy told you he had sex and you asked him what happened and he said he only ate a woman out and then she sucked and jerked him off to finish, most people wouldn't consider that "sex."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:31 AM
1

Pretty sure sex is short for sex. Only to the people who don't know the difference. No one is going “sure he ate out like 12 girls and did butt stuff with his ex. But she’s never “had intercourse” so hes a sexless virgin.” If he didn't have intercourse, then yeah, he would be a virgin. Eating out 12 girls or even most of the women on the planet wouldn't count as "sex."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:22 AM
0

It's a part of sex, yes, as in a sexual act that people do in the midst of sex, but it isn't sex. Sex is intercourse. You can't say "we had sex" if you only used your hands to get each other off.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:19 AM
2

No. "Sex" is short for "sexual intercourse," not sexual acts. Anytime someone says "we had sex," they mean "intercourse." If they didn't have intercourse, then they're using the word wrong because nothing else is "sex." Handjobs are not sex. Oral is not sex. Manual stimulation is not sex. Eating ass is not sex. Using toys on each other is not sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:16 AM
1

Yeah, that's not sex. I think you misunderstand the difference between "sexual intercourse" and "sexual acts/activities." Sexual intercourse is a sexual act, but not all sexual acts are sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 12:08 AM
-1

Yes, that would be the sex part. Licking, rubbing or stimulating the clit wouldn't be considered "sex."

Yeah, some people just need to be strapped to the nose of an airplane for a non-stop flight around the world. Sucks but there's a lot of codependent people out there too who get caught up with these psychopaths and they're like a match made in hell.

I consider that to be part of it. I mean, there's diabetes on both sides of my family and I don't want that. That's rough. I can relate. Both sides of the family have problems too so I'm trying to avoid those as well. I can't imagine nor stomach the thought of having to give myself insulin shots everyday. Both my grandmothers did. I try to eat low-carb and/or stay away from added and processed sugars. Nobody knows if it will all be for nought one day though. Could be Thanos diabetes.

I mean.... it's not outside of the realm of possibility to continually encounter bad people or assholes. That whole "If everyone you meet is an asshole...." quote does exactly that. It's a way for assholes to flip the blame onto others as well.

I mean that's all well and good, but I meant more doing it for yourself. I do intermittent fasting, stay somewhat active and use a lot of supplements because I like feeling good and being healthy. I don't think I'd ever change the way I look for someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:31 PM

For sure. Principled people seem to be more difficult to find out in the wild, as a lot of other people are only appearing responsible and principled to find someone. Then a year into the relationship, they look sloppy and gained 50 pounds. Seldom ever fails.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:23 PM

Sad. You can see that on the "datingover___" subs. I honestly thought older people would be more mature and have done the work to grow up, but apparently a lot of them have not, and it's very shitty and discouraging for the people that have.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:19 PM

They sure have, unfortunately. It seems like the more people I meet, the more reason I have for staying single. If I meet a decent woman and things fall into place, I'll welcome it, but most encounters are definitely not with people who have worked on themselves, or still need work. I don't make time for people who are only going to bring me down with them.

Generally yes but it depends on what sticks out more. If she has other good qualities like she's mentally stable, mature, knows what she wants, is intelligent, responsible, etc., then those will play into how I see her, but if she's the typical, average middle-aged woman as described above, then it'll most likely be a no-go. People like to harp on about giving older women a chance, but the ones with the other good qualities don't have problems finding stable long-term relationships as they age, …

Yes there's an implication that women are weaker, because they are. Has nothing to do with misogyny or homophobia. It's just men bullying other men by likening them to women, similar to when women bully other women by likening them to men in some way - usually in their appearance or mannerisms.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:31 PM

No. Only a feminist would think like that. Bullying is something that exists in nature. That's it.

Yes, but in the context of past societies, this doesn’t really hold up. Which past societies? I think this holds true for almost every society. Younger people are always seeing what they're capable of by engaging in risky behaviors while older people know that they're not as capable as they once were and seek safety and stability. Sex is one of the biggest drives so I think who we choose in the beginning is a more accurate reflection of who we find desirable viscerally. I think you're making the…

Because the people that say this are women and simps.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 02:50 AM

That's actually a tough question, and I don't think the answer is a simple one. In order to hold yourself in higher esteem, you have to show yourself that you are an esteemed person. Try pushing for higher accomplishments like being truthful, knowledgeable and more capable. The more accomplishments you see yourself making, the more esteemed you'll view yourself because you've done the work to earn it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 02:49 AM

Anybody ever feel like people trying to be solely masculine or solely feminine ends up with those people being incomplete, or in need of their "other half?" There is a bit of folklore in Japan about these birds that are essentially born with one wing and they must seek out their counterpart with the other missing wing in order to be able to fly together, which is a metaphor for men and women looking for their "soulmates" or however you want to view it. There are also other conceptual ideas like …

It's called normal sexual attraction. Hypergamy refers to wealth and status only. It doesn't refer to physical appearance or natural physical attraction triggers. The only thing I can think of would be if a man is attracted to a woman who shows good motherly traits or likes and cares about children, but that's not to say that men automatically don't care about children or don't have the same capacity to care for and raise children also.

It's a misconception mostly made by stupid people that they have to be like those people or do exactly what they did to be able to obtain the same or similar lifestyle as the bad role models. Oftentimes, those same stupid people are the ones that contributed to the bad role model's success without realizing it.

Your partner's needs are about your partner, of course, but not totally about your partner, if that makes sense. Your partner's needs are likely subject to being a compromise if you don't want to meet them, and that's totally fine. However, this is likely going to cause some friction in the relationship (not the good kind) if needs start going unmet. The most important thing is for people to be compatible so that needs don't have to be fulfilled at the expense of the other partner's desires.

Being "friends" is different from being "friend-zoned." If you're actual friends, you both don't know where you stand on the idea of things potentially becoming romantic, but in the friend-zone, it's clear that the other person will never be anything more than that, unless that friend is being used and made to think that they can become more than friends by doing things for the one who friend-zoned them.

They're just not very good at "selling themselves" because they're genuine and humble and don't really believe in gassing the interviewers up just to get a job. They're a disabled vet with an honorable discharge and work very hard. They have positive reviews with all of their recent former employers but have done some bouncing around so I think employers look at them like they're an unstable hire.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:25 PM

Must be nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:22 PM

Eh my friend is against welfare. They definitely are employable and have a good work ethic but have trouble convincing interviewers of that, so it's been hard finding work for them. They're only not homeless right now because they're staying with family but that family consists of deplorable idiots so its a pretty unstable situation they're in.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:16 PM

Not really. I just look for improvement and personal growth. Better to be a person that others can look up to than someone who is just thought of as "masculine."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:07 PM

Guys don't typically post on social media for attention, so their stories will probably reflect their actual lives instead of farming for likes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:06 PM

Q4All: How would you handle an unstable living situation with very little emergency funds to avoid being homeless? Asking for a friend.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:03 PM

Men have to find their own way forward, unfortunately. There is no path that society can pave for them that will end up with positive results because that would usually involve disenfranchising or discriminating against others to make it happen. We can't all be equal and happy. That's a fantasy that idealists dream of.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 08:01 PM
1

Stereotypes aren't relevant to answering this question either.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 07:59 PM
1

We're speaking of the general experience, not the extreme, uncommon experiences, ma'am. In the worst cases, women assault men, try to hold them captive, try to coerce them into having sex under threat of false claims, or murder their reputations. We can argue outliers all you want but in the end, the answer will be the same, which is that women also suck at handling rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 07:43 PM
1

The question is "Do women also handle rejection poorly, or is it mostly men" to which the answer is "women handle it poorly too." Your response to this is "but men handle it worse" which literally does not matter at all. Women typically handle it just as poorly as they say men do, but deflect with things like "men handle it worse" or "women have to fear for their safety when rejecting men so getting mad at being rejected is justified."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 07:05 PM
1

Because it illustrates how they can't handle it. The intensity doesn't matter at all. Women having a problem with being rejected is unrelated to murder or assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 06:44 PM
2

That's not what the question is asking for though so it is irrelevant to the answer. What is relevant is that women also suck at handling rejection and it is a baseless assumption that women will make excuses for.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 06:22 PM
3

The post title reads "Are men the only ones who can't take rejection. Or is that a baseless assumption?" "Murder or assault" isn't relevant to that question.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 06:12 PM
1

Times get hard = people become selfish. That's what happened.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 05:31 PM
3

It's a baseless assumption that only seems that way because men do the majority of approaching so there's far more rejections on the men's side to look at which makes it look more like men can't handle rejection. In my experience, women are terrible at handling rejection too. A lot of them get angry or take offence to it, but only men who are being pursued by women will ever see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 04:51 PM

Hard to know or understand something that you have no experience with. Dudes who are young and/or have only been to strip clubs a few times get fleeced for money, and some just outright go to blow their paychecks at the strip club because it's "fun" to give strippers their money, apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 03:24 AM
1

I'm only familiar with the massage parlors being brothels. Never the clubs. Only in Mexico have I been to an actual "Gentleman's Club" that included the full-service lapdances.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 03:11 AM
1

Not familiar with any in the US. My experience with US strip clubs is girl convinces guy to go in back and get lapdance "and maybe more" for an agreed-upon amount of money. They go back and he gets lapdance and nothing else. He gets upset and the bouncers step in, or she finesses him for another $100 - $200 and maybe touches his dick. That's about it. Now, in countries where prostitution is legal, you'll actually get what you paid for.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 03:09 AM
1

Nah. A lot of guys go into strip clubs not knowing what they really are and end up leaving $500 - $1k poorer than when they went in because they thought if they threw out enough money, one of the strippers would have sex with them, but that doesn't happen too often.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 02:56 AM
1

Well now's your chance to make other friends and then pretend like you don't know her when she comes back. Just like in High School.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 02:24 AM
2

Strip clubs suck, actually. Any guy who isn't naive knows that it's all fake attention. The girls don't actually give a fuck about you. They're saying whatever you want to hear so you'll give them an extra $200 to dance on you while you watch and then not deliver on the handjob or blowjob they finessed you into thinking you were going to get.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 02:20 AM

I'm not familiar with any gym like that around here. I'll have to look because it seems like a lot of the locally owned, non-franchise gyms are kinda shitty and not even on the radar.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 12:00 AM

What's an example of a hard-core gym?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 11:54 PM

If a man likes a woman well enough, he'll look past that, but men usually don't have much reason to like a woman too quickly to not get a feel for her views about sex first.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 10:17 PM
1

If sex isn't on the table yet why would I get into it? Because if you want sex to be on the table, the other person needs to know some things about you first, like how sexually active you've been with strangers.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 10:08 PM

Yeah I'd prefer to be able to do things at home but I don't have the space. Bought one of those nylon strap homegym sets with the Olympic rings for bodyweight strength training and don't have a place to use them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 10:04 PM
0

It doesn't have to be a deep dive unless someone history really is that deep. Having similar views on sex is important for a relationship and if someone doesn't want to answer, that's usually a bad sign because people with nothing to hide don't try to hide things.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 09:51 PM

Be on your toes/look for the signs, start thinking about your state's land and climate and have a place to go to before shit hits the fan, because you don't want to be stuck in your neighborhood when it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 09:31 PM
1

Yeah that question wouldn't get brought up unless someone was socially inept or just looking for someone to satisfy their kink. How many sexual partners someone has had would be a relevant and valid question, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 09:19 PM
4

That's not a boundary. Boundaries are more like "be respectful, calm, not pushy or aggressive, etc." If your boundary is "you can't ask me anything that might cause you to judge me negatively," then you probably shouldn't be dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 08:36 PM

Ah okay. I'm leaning more toward martial arts though, not wrestling or MMA specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 08:33 PM

I've been there too but can't go because people that I'm currently having a falling out with are going to the one in my area. I'd have to drive an extra 15 minutes to a different location.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 08:19 PM

That would require two different memberships. Haven't seen any all-in-one fight club gyms yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 08:18 PM

Been there before but it is a little bit of a drive to get to one.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 08:17 PM

Opinions on best gym to go to? I've been wanting to get back into working out but I don't know what gym would be the best for me. I want to be able to lift weight but also focus on functional fitness too. There are plenty of regular gyms around my area but also cross-fit gyms and combat gyms that practice MMA or Muay Thai, but the latter utilizes mostly cardio and HIIT with no weightrooms or traditional gym equipment.

Very few dates are actual 50/50. Most dates, the man pays. Some, the woman pays. Free stuff is a cheap date that most women don't prefer to go on unless they're already well past the initial dating stage, so not really worth mentioning here.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 07:59 PM
9

I agree. If you start off dating someone with "that's none of your business," that's not a good look for a healthy, transparent relationship. People just don't want actions to have consequences anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 07:58 PM

Uncertainty, confusion, mass chaos. Better start prep-a-leppin.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 07:56 PM

You're free to have whatever opinion or perspective on how dating should be, but it's not what it currently is. Dates are not 50/50.

So in the end, you agree and justify women offsetting their own costs onto men. Nice.

“According to what?” Is this not a question? I’m confused? I didn’t concur anything based off what you said. I answered what I thought was a question posed by you. There was a mix-up. I asked you according to what standard do women put in equal effort and you said "according to modern dating." No, that's according to you/your opinion. "Modern dating" is not a person capable of measuring effort. Women have more to do and more to lose. No, not really. Women have everything to gain from dating in t…

They work because they illicit more of a visceral reaction from women whereas normal, average, everyday men do not illicit as much of a reaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 06:44 PM

Nope it’s proactive as well. A big chunk of it is appearance oriented because if a man doesn’t like how you look nothing else matters. There’s more to it than that though. They advise on how you should conduct yourself, how you should speak to him, how to fill up your time to be more socially interesting and appealing to different types of men, where to go to meet them etc. Yeah, that's all mostly reactionary. Why ask that then lol? I didn't ask anything. You concurred that what I was describing…

There's a lot of good YouTube videos about "sacred sound" or illustrating how everything in the universe is basically sound or vibration in motion. It's like the universe is it's own symphony if we could hear it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 05:48 PM

False. I’m assuming you’re a man? Probably a straight one? Correct me if I’m wrong. There’s conventional dating advice centered around catering to men as well. Yes, I know what it looks like. It's mostly reactionary. The action-oriented advice that women get is centered around their appearance. Men's advice is mostly action-oriented because we're the ones expected to do everything whether it be plan the date, lead the convo, pay, and/or make the date enjoyable for the woman. All women aren’t quality by default. Both men and women know that. Most men just don’t care if all they want is sex. If she’s not a quality woman they’ll just pump and dump her. Not true. Most conventional dating advice and opinions you will hear from people center all attention on the man catering to the woman, not the other way around, or even mutual effort from both people. For most interactions with men, women care about the guys quality to varying degrees and the level of effort she puts in…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 05:28 PM

Yes, all of this is focusing on the guy being a quality guy while assuming that all of the women are quality women by default. If you're going out on a date, you should be evaluating the other person, not simply trying to appease them. Be wary of the person that appears to want something from you, because they probably do, and also be wary of those who are entitled to other people's time and attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 05:18 PM
10

Hypocrisy is "rules for thee, but not for me," or double standards. If someone says that another person must do X for them while they don't have to do X for anyone else, they're a hypocrite, or if doing X makes someone else a bad person but they aren't bad when they do X.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 05:13 PM

Hard to want to find chemistry with someone if you have a list of things to do when interacting with them instead of being able to enjoy your time. Men's experience is the former while women's is the latter, so that's why women don't understand what it feels like to date from a man's perspective.

Yeah. I just had an appointment a few days ago but it was only an intake so not very helpful when you might need to talk to someone now.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 03:52 PM

In short, better to just avoid dating conventionally altogether if you're a man. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with this and "get good at reading women" while women don't have to remotely put in the same amount of effort.

You can get diseases from non-sexual contact. No sharing straws, cups, silverware, or food and drinks. No sharing bongs, bowls or other pot-smoking devices either. Beware of idiots with dirty hands, and I say that because I think I caught herpes from my idiot brother playing video games.

Pornography is not "sex education." It's not supposed to be educational. It's for fantasizing and busting a nut. If you have sexual views or habits that are unhealthy, then you are unhealthy. Don't blame porn. It's no different from when fat stupid people blame their food for being unhealthy rather than admitting that they're ignorant about their own unhealthy eating habits.

Yeah, that’s definitely not been my experience. Yes, most people don't have very deep relationships with people other than their sex partners and maybe some family, so they think most of it happens in sexual relationships when it doesn't. /r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 04:20 PM

There's compromise and communication in every relationship. You don't need romantic relationships to learn about those things. If you can't do either, you're probably going to suck at relationships. There's very little exclusive features of romantic relationships that wouldn't apply to relationships with friends or family.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 03:29 PM
1

They can, but that all depends on the person. You don't even need to be in a romantic relationship to learn about relationships because all relationships function on the same ground. Romantic relationships just involve more specific activities like sex and sexual intimacy, whereas the others don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:44 PM

We may not be entitled to friendships but I think we're at least entitled to explanations from our friends or long-time former friends for some things.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:36 PM

Or it could just means a lot of incompatible relationships and one compatible one. Doesn't really imply any knowledge of relationships on their part. I'd say the person who knows more is the person who can do it the least amount of times for longer than others can. If you've been in multiple, short relationships, it's either an indicator that you were too different, or that one or both people suck at relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:28 PM

Idk about that. I remember seeing a study briefly which said that most couples are split in their official parties but share similar views or are able to see and respect their partner's differing views without becoming angry or emotional.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 03:06 AM

Boredom is going to be part of everyone's lives, including relationships. If people can't deal with the boredom or boring parts of relationships, then they probably shouldn't be in relationships. It's not a partner's responsibility to make things fun for someone who's bored.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:46 AM

Wonder where they hid all their nuggets...
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:45 AM

There's no right or wrong way to live our lives but there are good and bad ways, or better and worse ways. Some people don't care and some people want to do better. That's all. I'd rather learn stuff that can help make my life easier and help make life better for others than to do whatever I wanted and make things bad or worse for myself and others.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:45 AM

Sounds interesting. Probs because feminists are largely against men and the book talks about women being and doing what they can as women, it appears.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:43 AM

It's a common thing that men hear women complaining about as "the worst thing." It's what leads to all sorts of issues that men end up complaining about, such as being in a relationship with a woman that's bored, because that means he's either going to have to do something to entertain her, or she's going to go looking for fun somewhere else (i.e., probably talking to another guy).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:35 AM

Ah that sounds kind of interesting. Can't go wrong with Montana saloon gold rush hookers.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:28 AM

Perhaps. Not surprising though to hear that there's nothing worse than a woman being bored though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:23 AM

Idk about that. There's a lot of good self-help and self-transformation books out there for people looking to grow. Granted, there are self-help books out there that are like the alpha male courses you're referencing, and some even have "alpha male" in the title.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:22 AM
-1

This is a non-issue. Women might say that they dislike conservative/Republican men but most couples are woman/democrat and man/republican. They were able to put aside their differences because they didn't make their political party their personality like some of the wackjobs out there do.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:12 AM

I don't think boredom is an emotion.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:07 AM

Spontaneously decided to go to the bookstore today and found a book called "No More Mr. Nice Guy." The introduction appealed to me so I bought it. Good book or no? What's in your current reading list? Also, how to deal with a woman who misleads others into thinking you're a bad person yet refuses to talk with you about what her problem is, aside from wrestling her into a straight-jacket and hauling her off to the crazy home?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:04 AM

College is for exploring the world No. College is for figuring out where you want to go in life, and then once you graduate, you explore the world and find where you fit in.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 01:59 AM

I don't think it matters as long as the woman herself is mature and knows what she wants, but the less amount of sexual partners, the better. If a woman has to go through countless relationships and sexual partners to learn about the world and herself, she's not the one.

I mean the best interactions that I've had with people were genuine and spontaneous, not forced. The forced ones usually never work out too well, or maybe weren't meant to work out if I'm bringing my personal philosophy into it.

But the original question is how does one go out to make friends or meet people without feeling fake about it. They obviously have some motive that they're using to approach people or conversations with that will be geared toward moving those interactions in the direction that they want, typically. I don't think many people go out and "just be themselves" in this case.

And if they don't watch sports?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 05:57 PM

How do people go out and try to make friends without feeling fake about it? I've gone out to join some meet groups before for socializing and making friends but everyone seemed like they were just waiting for something to happen or like they were asking "so when does the making friends start?" It really ruins the experience when you go out looking for genuine human interaction and everyone seems like they have some kind of motive that they're hiding, whether it be finding someone to spend time w…

Yeah I don't agree with people's criteria of what these things are. Wanting children is not "feminine" and being assertive is not "masculine." They're states of mind that pertain to an individual's wants or desires. Nothing more.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:58 PM
1

What do you mean? What's there to agree with? It's just a way that people choose to express themselves. There's no right or wrong way to express oneself. There will only be disagreements on what people think masculinity is.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:48 AM

It's okay. Pets are nice but I think they're more like distractions and I have the internet if I want a distraction, but distractions don't help very much.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:47 AM

Eh. Been there done that already. Sometimes not even those people can help you after a certain point of growth. I just don't know where else to turn right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:36 AM

Ah. Not sure how much that would help honestly. The world is looking more and more like an increasingly cold and lonely place everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:25 AM

Ah. Never heard of it before. Just asking because I've been losing people in my life lately and now have nobody to turn to. Maybe I just need time to acclimate myself but it's always rough for the first week or two.

Q4all: who do you go to when you have no one else to talk to?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 01:55 AM

I don't think pent up aggression plays a role here. It's just a different reason or additional reason for the action. Guys still allegedly assault women out in public for various reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 01:53 AM

That's a 2 hour long video lol. Anyway, I'm not so sure that you need to know a woman to lower her value, and I'm not sure it works that way because I think guys assaulting or date raping women at parties can accomplish the same thing, and they don't have to know each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 01:50 AM

I'm not sure about that. Never heard that before.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 12:32 AM

Well yes they weren't in a verbally agreed relationship but that's still a relationship beyond non-intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:57 PM

What does "been seeing" mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:50 PM

🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:47 PM

He has never been a stranger to everyone though. Abusers get out of a relationship and into another relationship as a stranger. That doesn't mean they're no longer abusers until they abuse again, which they probably will.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:45 PM

Obviously, they couldn't have, so they'd be on the side with the other guys who have never abused a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:30 PM

It's different for relationships though. We can assume that in the context of a relationship, the man approached the woman or initiated the interaction and the woman allowed it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:23 PM

Because being attracted to someone is different from having the urge to fuck. Women who are spreading their legs for everyone will have guys lining up, and not because the guys are attracted to them.

He's paying for an apartment for both of them plus half of the rent on a cottage that she just moved to for a job a few hours away from where she left him at the original apartment. He's broke because he pays for everything despite her being crazy one day and normal the next. I told him he's being manipulated and should leave the country but he continues to stay.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:10 PM

Being told to be afraid of someone isn't a good nor automatically valid reason to do so. In the context of the above, it doesn't make sense to be afraid of strangers when there's more reason to be afraid of someone you know.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:08 PM

That's a valid concern but that means you can't assume either of them. They're like a Schrodinger's Assaulter.' However, I think that if we group together the men that have been in a relationship before with the men who have abused a partner, we'd get a pretty significant overlap with the culprits being in the center and the guys who have never abused a partner off to the side.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:50 PM

Q4Women: Any of you ever notice that it seems like women are afraid of the wrong guys? Statistically speaking, most assaults that happen to women are by current or former partners. That means that those men passed through all checks and barriers to make it to the spot where the woman is most vulnerable, only to abuse her later on. Meanwhile, there are guys out there that wouldn't do that to a woman but because they're strangers, they're automatically sus. I think its funny that a lot of things r…

That doesn't have much to do with your previous comment about it being immature or lacking attentiveness. I'll tell you that being a quality person will take you further than looking the part any day of the week. Who you are matters more than what you look like, but people place more focus on the latter since that's all they might have control over.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:24 PM

That’s a good reason to reject, not dressing well suggests lack of maturity and attentiveness Pfft. Or it just means you prefer personal comfort over appealing to strangers. Quite a silly assumption to make about another person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 08:25 PM

I disagree with some of these points. Women will reject men for stupid reasons like their style of dress or their shoes. There is no magic one-size-fits all approach to attracting women and finding relationships, and that's what makes it difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 08:17 PM

Kind of. My mum introduced me to the dark side of women and ever since then, I've struggled to find a woman that doesn't share her toxic traits, so I've come to accept that most women are just like that and I'm searching for one that probably doesn't exist or is always in a relationship.

If all of your experience is in sex, that's likely all you'll have to offer someone when they do come around. I'm fairly sure that my experience with people becoming more or less attractive depending on their personality isn't unique to me, so I'd suggest that people work on becoming better people rather than gaining bedroom experience, and when I say "better people," I mean good moral compass, honest, attentive, mentally stable, healthy, focused on growth and personal development, enriches the …

Hard to say because you have to evaluate the information, not the person giving it, and if you don't know, then you're going to believe it based on your own views. That's why the podcast guys attract so many viewers. They say what aligns with the viewer's experiences, and the viewers are willing to listen to almost anything they say.

Being in a relationship isn't an automatic sign of authority. A lot of people fall into relationships or didn't do anything particularly specific or special to find them. There's a woman I know that's been in quite a few relationships yet she's a steaming hot mess. I saw her in action one time trying to get the attention of a guy that obviously wasn't that interested and it was hard to watch.

so the reason women don't approach men is because approaching sucks and they don't have to, men will approach them it is in the interest of men as a collective to change this, so they should stop approaching women Yes. however the man, singular, is as you said thirsty as fuck and his actual on an individual level his best option is to continue approaching women No. In this case, what applies to the group applies to every individual in that group. Dunno, I feel as though women are always bombarded with messages about how to keep your man happy (be sexy for him, be feminine and delicate, don't nag, be pleasant, cook, clean, smile, don't complain, be slutty in bed, be submissive, respect his decisions, compliment him, don't contradict him etc etc). I've noticed that foreign women are either a bit weird or just plain crazy, depending on where they're from. If they're from a 3rd world country, they're likely going to be in some state of survival mode so they're going to be more manipulative to the point where it looks like they have some personality disorder, which may also be a possibility. Have a friend like this who left the US temporarily to try a relationship with a woman in South America. I told him not to go unless he really wanted to…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:28 AM

I think a solution to men's problems would be to stop approaching women but some of them are going to do it regardless because they're convinced that they have to or they're thirsty af. If most men stopped approaching and focused on polishing up their personal philosophy on life, I think most women would notice the difference and come running back.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:10 PM

Whoever they want, but I think they usually end up as trophy wives or a relationship centerpiece for wealthy men with status, or they end up with some regular guy because they realized that it's better to be happy with someone that values them as a person than in some aesthetic relationship with someone that doesn't.

Feels like making friends when you're older is the same situation for any romantic relationship. People are all just looking to satisfy a personal need. I come across few people who seem genuinely open to meeting other people. They're either being polite and don't really care or they're acting friendly because they want something. I've never had too many friends because I only vibe with certain people and seeing so much fakeness from others makes me wary of and avoid people who show any kind of …

I think people often downplay how difficult it is for older people to make friends. Older people are more set in their ways and typically already have "a life" that they don't deviate from very often, and that includes their set social circle of people that they engage with on a regular basis. That makes it harder for other older people who are looking to make friends become part of someone else's circle. Also, it's easier to make friends when you're younger because people don't have much experi…

I'm asking because I have a therapy appointment in 2 days. I know they don't sit and tell you nice things about yourself, but they won't be able to help you if you're able to explain everything to them and it checks out. Also, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to be hard on yourself, but a therapist will help determine whether the degree to which you are is warranted or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:44 PM

Can't say for certain. I think therapists tend to have certain personalities or personality traits that make them more suited to that job. It's not something that anyone can simply go through college and do as good as someone who is already like a therapist but without the degree.

Sounds more like brainwashing or positive gaslighting if the person isn't totally delusional about themselves. However, if someone is level-headed and rational, and the things they say about themselves make sense, then it becomes a situation where you're basically talking to them and there is no progress to be made. Sometimes people's solutions really are just outside of their own reach.

I didn't say that it did. People go to therapy to help identify the root of their problems with someone else who is a third party, and thus not under the influence of their emotions or clouded judgement. People who are introspective and more self-aware are likely to know the root of their problems but not be able to find a solution for them. For example, I know what helps and doesn't help me because I know myself, so when the therapist offers a suggestion for something I could do, it's probably …

Is there anyone out there who feels like they're so self-aware and introspective that therapy doesn't really help them since the problems that people typically have and seek therapy for stem from their lack of self-awareness and introspection?

I'd say that men should focus on self-confidence and not dating. Dating in the US is a poop party. There aren't many mature people out there who can simply go out to meet someone to mutually get to know them as a person. Nearly everyone is going in with some motive to satisfy a personal need (i.e., most of the unhealthy, immature, inexperienced people are dating). You'd be saving yourself a lot of time, energy and trouble focusing on yourself and waiting to encounter someone you meet in your eve…

Do things that keep you centered. If you want to be centered but you're living a lifestyle that veers heavily off the direction you want to go in life, you'll have a hard time centering yourself because you know that you're seeking two different things. We can't have it both ways.

What song are you talking about? I haven't heard of anything like that lately. Women should be allowed to admire tall, lean and strong guys with great hairlines. We shouldn’t get shamed for it? When we fawn over certain men, guys will call us out? Again, men aren't usually making songs about frumpy gremlin women or ugly bitches. Most music that I've heard by male artists talks negatively about women's behavior, while conversely, female artists talk positively about men's behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 02:51 AM

Lol. Talking positively about specific traits is much different from talking negatively about others. That would be the difference here. Men are talking about what they want ("thick hips, slim waste"). Women are talking about what they don't want ("Scrubs/Short dick man").

I enjoy my freedom, and unless a worthwhile woman comes along, I'll continue enjoying it. This doesn't have much to do with her. All you can do is focus on yourself here. If you're happy and your girlfriend is happy, then what is the point of worrying? What are you even worried about? Unless there's actual suspicious behavior going on, there's no cause for concern. You should definitely talk to someone about your feelings, though. Keeping them inside will only cause them to fester and you'll never get over them.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:25 PM

Could be pheromones. Who knows? Combination of stuff: proximity, familiarity, FOMO, attraction to certain features, etc. The important thing to remember is that you don't have to partner with everyone you're attracted to. Especially if they're bad news. Of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:19 PM
3

A lot of people forget the fact that attraction isn't logical and people will rationalize why they're attracted to someone when asked because they're unaware of what features or traits their brain is subconsciously responding to. The science of attraction is actually very silly and only makes sense through the lens of our species, as we adapted and evolved to survive, not for our mate choices to make sense.

Where do women say/indicate that they believe their salary makes them more attractive to men? It's voiced in the dating requirements and complaints of the high-earners and "career women." /r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:20 AM

Depends on the man, but that's not even the point. The point is that some women think that their high salary raises their perceived sexual value to men in the same way that it raises their perception of a potential mate's value, and it does not. A shorter, average looking man with an egg-shaped body will look better to women if he makes a lot of money, but a woman that looks like a parrot-nosed librarian will not look better to men no matter how much money she makes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:09 AM

No, it's that women seem to think that their salary = men wanting them more, and it doesn't. They project their own desire for financial status onto men and then get confused when a man doesn't want a woman that looks like a bird making $90,000/yr.

Negativo. Women don't give feedback to a particular romantic partner that pertains to many other women, only herself. Not really because this one has devious intentions behind it. Women aren't being devious about telling men what they want. As the OP said, there's an implication that they're already attracted to the guy when they're talking about a feature of his that they like. The problem is that women suck at separating those two things, so they end up saying "I like guys that do X" when what they really mean to say is "I'm attracted to this particular guy that has done X."

You also can't speak for the entire population of women, which you are doing. Most women factually do not approach or ask men out regardless of you asking your first husband out. You guys could try to get closer as friends before seeing if you actually want to pursue something serious, but that depends on how much progress you've already made, her own timelines, etc. I mean I've been trying despite brushing her off over the past few years, but she seems to be waiting for things to happen while I'm trying to bridge the gap. If you don't date fast forward a few years and you could maybe try things out then if you're both still single. Yeah I don't know. She's expressed tha…

Men aren't required to either. Yes, they are. Women outright say that men are "supposed to" approach them and that it's "their job." However, when we start talking about women's job and responsibilities pertaining to dating, there's not much to say. Why do you think that is? If they don't want to approach or date, that's their choice. It's not a choice if men who don't approach don't date. That's how it goes, because women don't approach. But then don't complain that you don't get laid, or expec…

I mean I agree with you, but my issue is that you are blaming the fool for being fooled by the lies, instead of pointing out that there are liars who are lying. If the lies are pretty obvious, then we can blame the fool. Educate the fool for sure, but the only real solution is calling out the liars. You can do that too. That's what we're doing now.

I don't think you're grasping what's being said. Assuming they're the same or similar age, they both had time to work on their careers after they graduated high school, with a little bit of a headstart for the guy if he's a year or two older, but yet he still somehow makes more than her, typically. Why? What was she doing for those years that she's behind? Not birthing and rearing children, that's for sure.

I'm planning on moving in the next few years. I'm more concerned about potentially destroying the relationship I've made with them. I plan on still keeping in touch with them after I move, but not if the above happens. Also, I like her, but although we've known each other for so long, we don't know much about the other. It's been a pretty surface-level relationship for the majority of the time, but it's started to get a little deeper as of the last year or two.

It would be a fallout with people who I've come to know and grown to love over the years. I mean yes but doesn't that go to show that women are at least just as shallow as men and care about appearance and attractiveness just as much as men? Yes. Only a fool would think otherwise. Sure they do. I asked out my first husband. Sounds like you're an older woman then. We're talking about younger people here, like 30's and below. People don't give af as they get older so that's why older women don't have a problem with making moves. Plus they probably might have to start putting in effort as they get older because older men don't have time for the games. A lot of women will chat up a man they find attractive. "Like" doesn't mean "attracted to." Sure, we all like people who are nice to us and treat us well, but women don't go express interest or go after men that they like who just treat them well. That's the bare minimum that women expect in a potential partner. If he's not attractive, it doesn't matter how nice and well he treats a woman. He's going to be ignored and rejected most of the time.

No, I think this is one of those misdirection tactics. Women aren't without their flaws or their areas where they tend to screw things up either, so to suggest that women would make better leaders simply because men have higher sex drives than women or that they need to orgasm or else they might get too aggressive and accidentally nuke Denmark because they didn't get their dick touched? The relationship suffers when one person loses enough attraction or interest to stop putting in effort or communicating. That's all you have to worry about. Don't think too hard on this because it's silly and pointless to be nit-picking. For the people who don't know, everyday in a relationship is going to be different. Not sure. It feels good to be desired and to know exactly how much they're attracted to you, like giving you longing looks before one of you leaves, turning around just to look at you before they leave, glancing at you as they walk by, listening or waiting to hear you talk and hanging on your every word, etc. It's a totally different atmosphere when there's obvious attraction to both someone's personality and their appearance.

Again, that's more than expressing themselves. You can dance around the truth all you want, but interfering with people's lives because of a personal opinion is not just voicing their opinions. Also notice you keep moving the goalposts from "just saying it's creepy" or "judging others" to "expressing themselves." Just be honest and say you believe that women can meddle in other people's lives and relationships whenever they feel justified in doing so.

Not in a way that is actively trying to influence a particular person's opinion. Women can express their opinions in a general, indirect way, but once they start confronting young women and saying "Your relationship isn't right. You should break up with him" simply because the guy is a bit older than her, that's crossing the line of "just voicing their opinions."
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:46 PM

It does in some cases. The married guys with careers will fill you in on that. As I said in a different comment, my mother lived like a queen off of the child support she got from our father. Barely worked for decades.

Saying it's creepy isn't dictating anything. Right, but telling younger women that they shouldn't date older men or are making a mistake for those who are in relationships with older men, it is. People are allowed to make bad choices and other people are allowed to judge them for it. Their behavior goes beyond pure judgement. If they just kept it to themselves, that would be one thing, but they're taking action by voicing their opinions and actively trying to convince younger women to avoid or b…

They can be concerned about strangers. They just can't start dictating the lives of strangers. Big difference here. Makes it sound more like they're just projecting themselves onto young women and then taking action that assumes the men are automatically bad or have bad intentions without any evidence or reason to believe so.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 03:18 PM

Negative. You're mixing and matching different comments to create something I didn't say. I said women don't need to use makeup or "ornate themselves" if they're attractive. Unattractive and less attractive women do. Then, speaking generally about women, I said that women could learn about nutrition instead of covering up their lack of a healthy lifestyle with makeup, which applies to the women that do so. Anything other misunderstandings that need clarification?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 03:11 PM

Again, unless those younger women are their children, it's none of their business who younger strangers date. That's where the question becomes "Is it legitimate concern, or are they merely projecting themselves onto those younger women? Or are they just jealous?"

The custodial parent is the one who will be covering day to day expenses, so yes it is reimbursement. Negative, ma'am. That's not how it works. Women's desire for an LTR with men reveals that men practice hypergamy in this type of relationship: Firstly, womens' desire doesn't "reveal" anything about men's behavior..... Secondly, the word was used as far back as the late 1800's to demonstrate women's desire to marry up within social castes. Over 100 years later, nothing has changed, unsurprisingly. No, it isn't. Child support isn't reimbursement nor compensation for the other parent. It's still support for the child regardless of whether it's misused or not. Some fathers pay more because they have higher-paying jobs, and the child's needs don't increase with child support payment amounts.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 05:33 AM

Yeah who gets to decide what that is? Before long, it would turn into "My child needs a tub of ice cream and new shoes, now give me more money." They estimate the costs of the child per month and decide the pay accordingly. It's not going to be dependent on what the mother says the baby "needs."

I don't think this has anything to do with masculinity. Younger women and teenaged girls have always been attracted to androgynous ("cute") guys who veer toward the softer, romantic side (See: every boy band ever). As a guy with androgynous features, I can confirm. Those K-pop stars (who also have a lot of plastic surgery done btw) have a mix of feminine and masculine features which is what makes them attractive, and the plastic surgery was done to make them look that way. You do understand that child support isn't supposed to cover all of the child's costs leaving the woman with no financial obligations toward their child, right? It's support. A little bit of it goes to everything, or all of it goes to one or a few things while the other parent supports their child with the rest.

I've seen women without makeup plenty of times, and I see them regularly so I prefer their real face over their caked up one. Makeup is also used to hide or mask genetic deficiencies as well, so it doesn't matter what the exact reason is. They use it to make themselves look better than they actually do.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:40 AM
1

We're talking about child support here, which is not their own money, although men know that a lot of women consider child support as extra money that they can use on themselves if their child's needs are taken care of already.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:20 AM
1

A lot of these aren't "intrinsic." They definitely vary by culture, as many behaviors and attitudes do. You also use the word "considered" which means it's subjectively weighed. There's no intrinsic definition there. We can argue all day but these are undoubtedly qualities that men want from women which are beneficial to those men, not inherently feminine.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:17 AM

It's not built off gender but in most cases, the men in the equation make more money so it is they who pay. I'm sure it's also based on whoever will be housing the child as well, which is also usually the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:50 AM
1

Well I would expect as much. That's why it's called support. It doesn't cover the entire cost of whatever the child needs. The mother needs to support her own child too. She doesn't do that by just existing next to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:42 AM

Apparently it depends on the state. In my state, child support isn't determined by whoever has more custody. One parent will have to pay, and in most cases, that's the father.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 50% custody as a man still ends with him having to pay child support in most cases, so it doesn't matter whether or not he fights for custody because he's going to pay anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:10 AM

Well that explains a lot. Not sure how child support shakes out in your country but in the US, it's questionable where the money is actually going.

Child support is for the children. Supposed to be. Doesn't always get spent that way though. Women are most often the custodial parent so your last question doesn't matter that much, but yes, it would apply to women which is why there's no such terminology for deadbeat mothers. Always deadbeat dad.

Simple: poor diet and lifestyle choices often manifest on a person's body. Pale/Uneven skin tone, blemishes, wrinkles, etc. The things women hide with makeup and their bathroom of cosmetics. Also, it's in the term you just used: "Made-up" = fake, illusory. Makeup creates an illusion of features that don't exist.

That's weird. It's always been my impression that relationships were based on desire, whether it be desiring the other person, or things from the other person.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:53 PM

You mean those same single mothers (often the primary custodial parent) that use WIC, food stamps and other government assistance programs to feed their children? How does that money enter into the equation, and I'd wonder what the child support money is being spent on in that case. In a lot of other cases, the mother is not single and has the child support plus the new guy's income to help cover the other expenses like rent and bills, leaving that child support money to be spent on who knows wh…

I'm not really concerned with how men here define it. Those sound like qualities they personally want in a woman, not a list of qualities that are feminine. In this case, "feminine" is whatever someone wants to attribute as being feminine, so there is no definition.

I don't make it a point to remember the names of attractive men that I've seen, or find out what their names are, but I can see why women would like them. Since I can't think of any, I'll just name some attractive women from my list: Fairuza Balk, Eliza Dushku, Sanaa Lathan, Anne Hathaway, Hailee Steinfeld (pre-plastic surgery), Ana de Armas, and your mom.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:41 PM

Right, and that's typically where the accounting stops. Wonder what we'd find if we followed the money.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:28 PM

No he wouldn't, she is responsible for using the money for the child, And therein lies the problem here. Women aren't held accountable for using the child support money on the child. Only the men are held accountable for not putting it in the mother's pocket. Btw, paying rent/mortgage or utilities with child support money is 100% taking care of the child on the mother's part. Negative. If her usage of utilities accounts for more than the child's (which I'm going to go out on a limb and say that …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:24 PM

So how come single mothers are the poorest demographic of these men were magnanimously paying to maintain a child? Single mothers aren't known for their intelligence and decision-making skills. They're often working entry-level jobs or still in school when they have children. That's one major reason why. Another would be the men that they had children with are also broke so there's no way for them to make up the difference with a percentage of their wage. Men with money are usually smart enough …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:20 PM

No one mentioned extra money, only child support. The extra money IS the child support in this conversation, ma'am.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:09 PM

I'm sorry, is that supposed to invalidate my comment above in some way? Lol. My mother lived like a teenage queen off of my father's child support money while he lived in a tiny efficiency for awhile when he wasn't at his mother's house until he remarried. I know because we went to visit him often. Women like to downplay child support like it's nothing, but men know better.

Yes, costs vary by age and child support is a percentage of a man's income with a state minimum that varies by state.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 10:59 PM

My father paid child support. Guess where it all went? My mother lived off of it until we were all 18. Barely worked. We even lived at our grandparent's place (her parents) for years while she spent a good chunk of it. 3 kids worth of child support. She got used to that lifestyle and is now gold-digging wealthy old men for money.

Well that might work for some men. Telling him, asking him out and/or going for the kiss is preferable. Like seriously, if you can tell a guy kind of likes you but isn't making a move, kiss him. He will probably want to do it again, and that will start getting the ball rolling. It's not as cut and dry as: guy asks girl out; she says yes; they go out; he pays for date; he kisses her; he asks her out again; etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 10:51 PM

Ladies. It's 2023. We know where most of the child support goes: And your food, rent, and other bills. Please stop trying to tell us otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 10:44 PM

He's not being responsible for the child by giving money to the mother. We all know that the child support money just gets added to her income, not how much of it actually goes toward being responsible for the child. He would be a deadbeat if very little or none of it was going toward the child, technically, while the mother spends it on things that support her.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 10:13 PM

Nah. It's not caring for his child that makes him a deadbeat dad. Not giving the baby mama extra money to pay her bills doesn't make him a deadbeat.

It should be if you're making that kind of assumption about the guys that do. Miscommunication is at the center of every missed opportunity.

We're not assuming that all men who don't ask women out are non-problematic here. There definitely are guys with poor mental health and anger issues that aren't asking women out. Also, some of the guys that do ask women out end up in a long-term relationship. Doesn't seem to be the majority, but it's definitely majority of problematic guys doing the approaching.

Women's lives outside of dating have nothing to do with their dating life. Saying that women have it easier in dating is a valid claim that can't be refuted with "But women have periods and have to worry about being out alone after dark." Also, to directly address one of your claims, unattractive/less attractive women have to ornate themselves to be appealing to men. Attractive women don't. Maybe start focusing on nutrition as well and women wouldn't have to cover up their lack of a healthy life…

I certainly hope that men who have asked me out have asked me out because they thought I was the best choice. Sometimes the reason a guy doesn't ask a woman out is more complicated than that. Simple things for simple folks, I suppose.

Sounds like it is. If women are drawn to problematic guys but aren't asking them out, then they won't have said problems, but if only the problematic guys are asking women out and they are accepting, then the problems they keep complaining about will continue.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 09:46 PM

Lol. Yes, of course, not giving up the extra source of income to the lady makes him a deadbeat.

There are many different types and it takes two people mutually working together to have any love but Imo people kinda overthink it on here. We don't necessarily choose who we love either, it just develops. To me at least Definitely. I'm not sure if some of the people on here know what love is, but being in this place is a pretty obvious sign. Either that or they just have their perception of romantic love from TV and movies or whatever they've been led to believe about it and they can't connect…

Or you don't ask them out and let them settle for the next guy that will. Odds are that it won't be in their favor, because the guys that ask women out typically are the same guys they end up having a problem with later on. Notice the pattern? Ladies, if you know a good guy that you like, don't wait for him to ask you out. If he's single, stop with your subtle BS and do something bold.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 09:19 PM

Single mom's can be criticized for their choices, which seem to be the deadbeat dads. Also, a guy isn't a deadbeat dad if he refuses to have any contact with a psycho bitch that he impregnated. Sometimes that's the reason.

Yes, "love" is a thing. A lot of people have their own definitions of love and how they express it, so you might not get anywhere by asking people about it. I'm still trying to find someone who actually does "love" me, but because of the above, it's difficult. People seem to have this notion that love is infatuation, so when they're infatuated with someone, they call that "love," but isn't - it's much deeper than that.

I disagree. Being in a relationship involves growing with your partner. You don't have to "be the best version of yourself" already because: That's not likely to happen at a young age, implying that nobody should date until they're much older. Nothing to grow or improve on could also mean stagnation in your relationship as well. One thing you learn about life as you grow older and gain more experience is that not much is going to be ideal. There's never going to be a perfect time to do anything …

Terms that people use to attribute perceived male and female specific thoughts, attitudes and behaviors to men and women. They don't mean anything to me, personally. Just words. Edit: I'll add that there's some mature undertones that both of the words have. It's about a man or woman being comfortable enough in their own bodies to express themselves accordingly. People mistake masculinity with "not giving a fuck about anything or anyone," or "not backing down from a fight," and femininity as "bei…
