Thank you and I agree. Even my parents have said that my wife is immature and I completely agree with them. But this is my situation. No relationship or marriage is perfect. Overall we have a decent relationship but not perfect. It really got tough when having a kid. Before the kid we had a fairly stable good relationship. I’ll have never kids again with this women or any others. Women change after children and not always for the best. For too many women their husbands just become second class a…

Thanks man this is really insightful and I completely agree. It’s a MASSIVE risk for men to have children in todays society. So much so that it’s not worth it at all. And if you do want kids limit yourself to one (unless you get fucked and have twins or triplets). I’m not budging on more kids. In fact I’ll be getting a vasectomy very soon in the coming weeks. I do not want more kids period. Like you said at anytime my wife could pull the cord on the relationship. If she does it in 5 years etc at…

I agree. I’m honestly just going to get a vasectomy and call it a day. My wife seems to have calmed down. I’ve tons her I’m going to get snipped and although she is sad she respects my decision.

Yeah I need to get a vasectomy ASAP. We wear condoms but even those can break or fall off. My instinct is very strong no. She’s trying to turn having another child into a negotiation.

I agree. I see right through her bluff honestly. And once the kid is here she holds the power over alimony and child support since I make so much more than her. I won’t be having another. I need to get a vasectomy ASAP.

Thank you. I want to schedule my vasectomy ASAP. We have sex with condoms but obviously condoms can break or fall off. With a vasectomy I won’t have to worry about pregnancy period. My wife was actually ok with me having a vasectomy and now that her friend is having their 2nd kid my wife is begging for a second. She even said she will do all the chores etc around the house and I can just sit and watch sports all weekend and drink beer lol. I doubt that’s how it will end up though. Also I’d be th…

Did you try for the second kid or did she “accidentally” get knocked up? I’m not giving into having another kid. My wife is trying to make it a negotiation. Like if I give her another kid I don’t have to do night duty or change diapers. Etc. but it’s still going to affect me. I’m still going to have to deal with a wife who’s tired etc. I just want to live my life in peace. Work my job and enjoy the small things in life that give me happiness. Having another child with this woman is not my defini…

Yeah I don’t think this is a good idea. I am going to get a Vasectomy though whether she likes it or not. Im scared to have sex with her now honestly. We wear condoms but condoms can break or fall off etc and I know she won’t take Plan B. So then im fucked. I agree with others that a relationship can’t continue if you’re not in the same page with kids. It’s not like having a dog. It’s a lifetime commitment to your kids like it or not.

Very sorry to hear about what happened to you. Please do not kill yourself. You still have so much more to live for. Please call the national suicide hotline or find a therapist to talk to. Maybe take some antidepressants to help cope. You will get over this. That sucks she took your kids and you’re right what a bitch. But your kids most likely will seek you out one day and wonder why you were not in their lives. You can be honest and tell them that their mother took them away. They might even r…

I’m sorry but a second isn’t easier. Everyone I talk to that has more than one says it’s much harder both time, energy, and financially. Yes they will play together maybe eventually after both are at least 2.5 years old. So 2.5 years at least of hell and changing diapers. But even when they are older they still fight each other etc so you have to break up the fights etc. And the cost is a lot more. You say hand me downs but what if you have a boy and a girl? That’s not going to work out well. I …

Sort of but the child support is a lot more money than staying together mostly because it’s a calculation based on income. I make $200k a year while my wife only makes 65k a year. Because the child would live with my wife 50% of the time, my wife gets awarded a large sum from me to maintain “similar quality of life for the child at both houses”. So yes it does suck for me because I have to pay money that allows my wife to live a better life too.

Oh I completely agree. I will not be giving in. I guess I came here to just tell me story and where I am. Even having one kid with this woman almost broke me. Now that our kid is a little bit easier and sleeping through the night it’s better and I feel more comfortable going through a divorce if needed.

Well we do use condoms when we fuck and honestly we don’t really have that much sex anyway. I personally don’t even want to have sex with her anymore knowing we just are not on the same page. I also was going to schedule a vasectomy soon. I agree with everyone’s thought and advice. But divorce with a kid already sucks. Not just because I’ll be stuck paying child support for many years. I live in a state where you pay child support until the kid is 26 years old. That’s fucking bull shit.

Yeah it’s tough. I don’t think she wants to divorce me and she’s honestly not a very good liar. So I don’t think her plan is evil. I think she just has biological imperative to have another kid.

Thanks man for the support and I agree. Sounds like you regret having kids with that woman not necessarily the kids themselves. I truly believe a man’s fatherhood experience completely depends on the woman he marries. If you marry a woman who is lazy or doesn’t become a good wife and mother it makes your life as a man completely shit. My wife has always been on the lazy side of things. And when she was pregnant and we had the kid that laziness really came out. Plus woman today want to split all …

This is going to depend on a bunch of factors. How old you are or how young you look. Are you in shape? And what city are you in etc. I personally have not gone the sugar baby route but have friends that do. Overall it’s a good arrangement. My one buddy pays the girl $800 a month and takes her out on a few dates a month. They fuck after every date and she fucks his brains out and sucks his dick like it’s the best god damn popsicle she’s ever had. Sex doesn’t always depend on after a date. Someti…

Second this. Even if your wife is higher earner she might not always be. And there might be a time when she doesn’t want to work anymore especially once children are involved. In all honesty, to protect yourself do not get married and do not have children. Sadly child support is basically another form of guaranteed alimony.
/r/Divorce_Men19/02/23 02:49 PM

Alimony is fucking dumb. Just because you married someone doesn’t make you entitled to their pay. If I had to pay alimony for life I would leave the country.

Wow was the judge a man or women? Either way that’s amazing news for you and something that’s rare. Did you hire great divorce lawyers? I’ve been looking up lawyers in my city and one charges like $500 an hour but is considered one of the best in the state I live in. Basically she said since I earned $190k a year and my wife only made 70k a year she could get me more of the savings so it wouldn’t be split 50:50 since I made so much more than my wife.

This is why happiness needs to come from within. You cannot put all your happiness eggs into the wife or gf basket. It’s going to break eventually. You need to focus on your inner strength and yourself. Focus on your career and learning new skills. Making more money. Getting fit and working out. Plus just doing stuff for yourself.
/r/Divorce_Men19/02/23 02:41 PM

Second this view. Men going through divorce now or recently out of it just know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Also escorts and sugar babies are a great escape too that costs way less than a wife and many times probably cheaper than a real GF.
/r/Divorce_Men19/02/23 02:37 PM

Holy shit you’re so right. She is very lazy. Not just with social interactions but in general. She’s just a lazy person.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/23 11:53 AM

You don’t get married or into a monogamous relationship because you want great sex though. If you want great sex you stay single. Have a few girlfriends. Fuck escorts. That’s how you maintain great sex. Although I’d argue some of the best sex can be had from escorts.

Sort of. She really doesn’t spend too much compared to other women I read about on here and know in real life. So I guess that’s one benefit.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 06:20 PM
1

Congrats! I don’t think my wife would ever sign one because it literally gives her no benefit at all. So I’ve decided not to do it. I spoke with some lawyers who agree that the post nup might not even be enforced depending on the judge. How the fuck did you get your wife to agree to sign the document? Because mine probably would refuse or just tell me to divorce her right there and then.

Sounds about right for my situation too lol. My wife will spend fucking hours on instagram and TikTok though. Or watching garbage reality tv. Even during her work day.

I’ve already decided if I get fucked too hard in divorce I’m leaving the country. Singapore has no reciprocation treaties with USA for paying child support or alimony. I’ll still send some child support though or put it in a trust.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 03:54 PM

Yeah that’s the tough part. Also her friends who are married are all bitches. Their men are whipped hard. Their goal is to get their men to do fucking everything for them.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 03:53 PM
2

Yeah I agree. Well if we divorce I’ll get a fuck ton of my time back because we will split custody of the kid. So the 2 weeks out of the month I don’t have the kid is all me time. And when I do have the kid she sleeps at 730pm so I would have time at night to game too.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 03:51 PM
1

Yeah I don’t think playing 7 hours a week is much of an addiction. Some weeks less. That’s basically an hour a day.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 03:50 PM
1

I’m super involved in my kids life. I help in the mornings. I help after work until she goes to bed around 730. Then I want an hour to myself to play some video games. Or on weekends a few hours while my wife watches the kid and I will reciprocate.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 03:50 PM

I think you also need to tell her if you don’t get me time and you do resent her and divorce then you will be taking the kid 50% of the time which means she doesn’t get to see the kid 50% of the time. This also means that holidays are split. So the kid will only get to be with her for 50% of christmasses or whatever other holidays you celebrate.

Sorry to hear that brother. It’s tough out there for sure and marriage is a god damn fluke. Same with having children. I love my kid but child support is going to suck when I make so much more than my wife. I’m telling her those payments need to go to college tuition fund because I won’t have enough to help our kid with college since I’m paying so much in child suppprt. My marriage got worse after our kid was born. Wife became very lazy. She expects me to do everything. And even though we still …

Thank you. I’ll definitely start getting out of the house for work. My issue is I enjoy working from home but having her home all the time doesn’t help. My wife has no hobbies. Zero. Her hobby is watching reality tv and scrolling on instagram and TikTok. Friends? Well we moved to another area and live over an hour from her friends. She doesn’t see them much anymore but should try to make new friends where we currently live. When you say male counselor do you mean just for me? Or a male marriage …

The issue is my wife is unreasonable. She would LOVE if I had no hobbies outside work and just spent all my free time with her. In fact in her words I’m too old to be playing video games and I should be spending all my time outside work with her and our child. Obviously I fought back and said no way to that. Honestly I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on this relationship in the next year or two. Just need my daughter to get a little older so it’s easier to take care of her.

So we do stuff. We have been going out to restaurants almost weekly and trying new places. We even have done some activities too some weekends. That’s not enough for her. And she doesn’t like the movie theatre. Thinks it’s dirty lol.

This is basically what I’m doing. I’m don’t give a fuck anymore. If I want to play video games I’m playing video games. I spend soo much time with that woman the fact that it’s not enough is mind boggling.

Yeah it’s tough. Also watching tv can be tough because sometimes interests just don’t align. Case in point I LOVE watching game of thrones and those fiction types of shows. She’s more of a reality tv person. So it’s very hard for us to find shows we both want to watch and enjoy together. Usually one of us compromises which is usually me. Other friends of mine say their wives love watching game of thrones and other types of shows

My wife does not. She just wants me to spend all my free time with her. I think part of the issue is I personally don’t need as much relationship time to feel good but she needs a ton of time. Part of the issue probably stems from her anxiety and depression issues. I highly regret marrying her and having a child with her. It’s going to cost me a huge chunk of my income to divorce her. She makes 75k a year and I make 200k. So even though I’ll still be ok financially it hurts to have to give her s…

Yeah I could go to the office. It’s an hour drive but might be worth it to get out of the house. Personally I don’t mind being around her. My issue is she wants to spend every single minute I’m not working together. I used to work way more hours and she was ok with that. But now that I have more free time I should be spending all of it with her and not enjoying my life or hobbies. Yeah I’m in Massachusetts. Fuck this state. Yeah man its a shit situation. Like I want my child to grow up in a normal household. And also if I divorce my wife I’m going to get fucked financially. I’ve already talked to some lawyers secretly. Having to give up 30% of my income for the next 25 years hurts really bad. To the point where I almost would rather leave the god damn country and start a new life somewhere else.

That’s what happens when a society literally tells women they can do nothing wrong and are princesses. Plus have TONs of support groups that just don’t exist at all for men. Every major company I’ve worked for has special women’s groups for women to help each other in their careers. Nothing like that exists for men. Anywhere.

Well it’s not that I don’t enjoy spending time with my wife. During the day we usually eat lunch together, then from 5pm - 9pm we have dinner play with bay together etc. Then after 9pm when baby is down we watch tv together or talk. Sometimes I’d like to use this time to game but I don’t because I know she enjoys the one on one adult time. All I’m asking for is 3-4 hours on a weekend to play some video games. Honestly just never get married. It’s not fucking worth it. At least if she ever becomes naggy or doesn’t treat you well you can just leave her ass easily at anytime. It does suck because finding someone to spend your life with would be amazing but most women today are just like you said. All my friends wives act exactly the same way. Some are worse than others. Thank you. She probably gets as much time as me if not more. Her job is incredibly cushy. Damn that sucks. Yeah I talked to two lawyers. One said the judge might start the marriage date on when we cohabitated which would be for a total of 8 years. The other said the judge will start at the marriage date of 4 years. The one that said 4 years is one of the best divorce attorneys in my state but charge over $500 an hour. It will probably be twice the price to hire the better law firm but I’m thinking it might be worth it.

It’s a system that doesn’t work. It was designed to protect stay at home moms or dads but the issue is if one person is lazy by choice it does nothing but penalize the harder working individual. And then the person who worked their ass off has to continue paying someone they no longer get along with? I wish you the best of luck. And I guess misery loves company because there are a lot of us in this predicament with lazy exes who benefit from our hard work.

Haha there are a lot of us in this position. Learning that Marriage basically offers no benefits at all to the higher earner. I understand there are situations where one parents stays home and watches the kids etc but this is not my situation. My wife does have a lax job and our kid is in daycare. I just wish I would have married someone who was a go getter like me and earned more money. Now I’m going to greatly pay for this.

How is getting fucked financially by a lazy ex wife being a man? The marriage laws are fucked in the country. It literally gives all the benefits to the lower earner. I know this is an old post but I’m going through this possibly. I’m just realizing how fucking scummy marriage is in general. It’s a multi multi billion dollar industry between weddings, lawyers for divorces etc.

I’m in Massachusetts. Liberal state run by feminists. I already consulted some lawyers. I will 100% have to pay CS and possibly Alimony. My only hope is that she would be amicable and waive alimony but who knows. Honestly if I get fucked financially enough I’m just going to move countries. I’ll take my half of our savings and start a new god damn life somewhere else.

While I agree CS payments are looked at every 3 years so even if I do this eventually I’ll get nailed. The only way I get out of this is to literally move countries and just renounce my entire life here

Having sex with ex after filing is risky. What if she got pregnant etc. I’m getting a vasectomy though. One and done is enough for me as it’s too god damn risky to have kids today for us men.

I think it’s tough because she’s not that bad all the time. Part of it is hormonal swings during that time of month. I haven’t decided yet to file or leave. Overall though I wish I just never got married. It’s still a huge risk for me to stay married.

Loneliness is a real problem in todays society. But it’s definitely something you can overcome and learn to accept. If you have the ability to have a pet like a dog or cat and don’t mind the extra work and expense they can definitely help with loneliness. Also I find when I’m home alone turning on music, tv, radio etc for background noise even if I’m just cooking or something helps be feel like I’m with someone else. Talk radio and podcasts work well too. Plus you can learn stuff as you listen t…

This was inspirational to read about your story so thank you for sharing. If you don’t mind me asking, what field do you work in to make 7 figures? I work in finance and one day could hit that level of income. My wife makes 72k a year. Currently I’m at $200k a year but this will grow over the years. My relationship has been rocky for sure. If there is one thing I’ve learned it’s that I am scared shitless to remain married. The only issue is I have a 2 year old daughter and so this complicates th…

While I agree, money does matter. Many of us worked very hard to get where we are financially. And to have to send an ex wife alimony or child support which can be 50-60% of our incomes is a huge issue. Alimony won’t be that bad for me but the CS will be fairly large % of my income for the next 22 years if I divorced now. I basically go from $200k a year down to $170k a year and my wife will go from 75 to 105k for doing nothing but having a kid with a man who earns significantly more than her. I…

You are completely right. I do look at her through a lens of disdain. But that’s because she IS lazy. Laziness is measurable.

I’m telling my wife all those child support payments are for our kids college. I won’t have any more money to help with college after paying all of this. It’s going to be at least $20k a year. To add this is partially why I’m thinking of just staying in a relationship I’m not happy with. The financial fallout on my end is so significant that I’m almost compelled to just stay and put up with my wife’s bullshit. At least I’ll have a ton of extra money to buy shit I want to buy versus spending $20k…
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 12:06 PM

In my state you have to pay until the child is 23 years old. Good liberal fucking state. It’s not worth it for men to have kids or get married. Not if you’re the higher earner.

Holy fuck are you lucky! Strip club! AND going back to their house to make out and get a blow job?! Damn bro enjoy it! You deserve it.
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 12:51 PM

Free consults are a good way to meet the lawyer etc to see if you like them but they usually don’t get into too many details. Most charge around $200-600 for an hour consult that includes a ton of details outlining how a divorce will go.
/r/Divorce_Men11/12/22 12:50 PM

While I agree I think the kid will get over it eventually. But I do want to see if we can work it out. But man it’s so depressing as the higher earner to potentially need to pay money to someone after the relationship ends. Like I earn more than my wife because I worked my god damn ass off for it while she was fairly lazy. She’s just happy working her easy 40 hour a week job and spending her free time sitting on the couch and watching tv.
/r/Divorce_Men10/12/22 01:41 AM
1

Problem is I’m not certain it won’t work out. But at the same time the power dynamic changes over time. When she knows that I’ll have to pay alimony if we split she won’t give a shit because she benefits either way. I don’t though. Also I want split custody of my son and personally I don’t want to have to take care of a 1.5 year old by myself. He doesn’t sleep through the night all the time. Also my wife has the benefit of living in the same city as her family. My family is a 16 hour drive away.…

Yeah I agree about the leverage part. Truthfully hiring escorts would be WAY cheaper than a divorce. I’ve definitely thought about it. I’m sure a lot of men use escorts because divorce would just rape them financially. But as you said sometimes I don’t feel loved in my relationship. Or appreciated enough. And that’s what hurts the most. Honestly due to having a child I’m leaning more towards not divorcing her even if I’m not super happy. It’s just cheaper for me to spend the money saved on mysel…

It’s somewhat died down though through Covid. I haven’t really heard much about it anymore. Obviously there is some sexual harassment that’s legit but the real issue is even being accused of it can destroy your career and public image. Even if there is no proof of it etc. I’m very glad Johnny Depp won his case against his ex wife.

So this basically has happened to me. Except my wife used her pregnancy and having a kid to be lazy. Usually we split house work 50:50 even though I earned 2x her income at the time. I should have left before having a kid with her but I was comfortable in the relationship at the time. AND it was Covid so we thought the world was going to end. So I stuck it out. Things were going ok and all our friends started having kids so we said let’s do it too so our kid would be around the same age. Then wh…

Yep I know that. Plus my work pays me enough money not to shit there. Don’t want to lose the income. All it takes is for the relationship to become public or she gets mad etc and decides to make a false harassment claim and you’re finished. You see this shit in the news all the god damn time. The stupid #metoo movement got women who were not even harassed to come out and make false claims etc as they figured they could get a nice settlement out of it. Yeah I want to see if my wife will make a change. I have talked to her about it and she is dieting just depends how long she keeps at it. But honestly if it’s not in her nature to want to be fit and healthy I may want to bail sooner than later.
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 05:54 PM

Yeah well men who earn more than their wives. If your wife earns what you do or more and you don’t have kids then the outcome is much favorable. The issue is the system fucks the higher earning person. And the higher earning person is usually the one who works harder etc. So it’s a massive blow when you work your ass off just to have to pay some lazy SO money

Just goes to show sometimes there’s nothing you can do. Same here actually. I’m in the best shape of my life. Also I’m very high up in my career for my age and make great money. Women throw themselves at me at the office. I won’t shit where I eat but it’s still a nice feeling.

Good for you man! You did the right thing. You found someone who’s better for you also. My wife just changed. When we were in our early 20s sex was often and it was pretty great. Now in our 30s she just doesn’t put effort into it and she gained a ton of weight. I’ve tried helping her to lose it. I’ve offered to cook healthier meals. I ask her to take walks with me but she never wants to. She’s just a very sedentary person and she’s going to be fat. When we met she was smoking hot though. I look …

Man I can’t believe she still never admitted to it. She probably didn’t want the title of “cheater” or affair on her record. So looks like she did have a sex drive just not for you. Are you fit? Do you workout? I think as men we still have to stay attractive for our wives as much as we can.
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 04:36 PM

In my state child support goes until the kid is 23 years old if they go to college. So the way I look at it is the $15k I’ll be paying for the next 20 years better fucking go towards a college fund. Already told my STBXW I don’t have the money to fund their education after paying all this CS.
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 03:50 PM

I just bought a new car and put the loan and title in my name for the event that we possibly divorce. She already has an older car and I’m keeping the new one since I make 3x what she does.

To keep the high going just focus on yourself. Workout go to the gym. Eat and cook healthy. Stay away from alcohol or limit yourself. Even one drink tends to ruin my mood and make me more depressed. You’re awesome man and you are going to do great.

Yeah I agree with this. If I ever find someone else I want someone who’s into swinging or allowing me to have sex with other women.

Yep I have a friend in the USA that’s married and uses escorts. We are super close and I think that’s why he told me. I’m thinking of getting into the game.
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 11:42 AM

Yeah I think an affair is too risky. The other girl might get attached to you as well and want to tell your wife so you divorce and she gets you to herself. Escorts are the better route even though it costs more. But it’s also easier.

How did you get her to give them daily?
/r/Divorce_Men08/12/22 01:34 AM

Yep I think a lot of men love blowjobs. There is an old saying that to keep your man happy you should give him blow jobs but most women just don’t care. I’m never getting married again though. Not worth it.

/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 09:50 PM

Yeah sadly this is it. They don’t feel a need to keep their husband happy because why should they? If you leave she gets to fuck you financially. Luckily I’m still in a short term marriage and just realizing this shit now. I’m looking to bail out before it’s too late.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 09:50 PM

You dodged a fucking bullet. Good going with the condoms. If you know you don’t want kids I’d get a vasectomy. Plus then you can raw dog some of these whores and cum in their pussies without worrying. Don’t get married. Married red pill is for those of us who honestly should have never gotten married. Once women get the ring it’s over. Sex will suck. She won’t put effort in anymore. It’s not worth it.

Second the children comment. I’m doing it now with a 2 year old. Love my LO but fuck is it hard. I’ve decided no more kids period. Going to get a vasectomy as soon as I can. Wife wants another of course but I’m not giving in ever. Actually looking to divorce her if she doesn’t get her shit together. She gained 60 lbs. puts no effort into sex. No blow jobs anymore. I told her if she doesn’t get better I leaving. I’ve seen her make some improvements. I’m a high value man. Very fit. Not as fit as I…

Sad but so fucking true lol. Loved the bit about the blow job. Gf will spend 12-20min sucking your dick like an audition to a porno and your wife gives it 3 licks if you’re lucky.

Don’t get married man. Take our advice. Also probably best not to have kids either unless you like potentially paying child support. The issue with Marriage is it puts all the power in the woman’s hands. As a man you are giving all the power to the woman. She can divorce you and financially fuck you for life. This really only works if she earns more than you but since most men still out earn women for reasons we won’t get into, you’re better off not getting married. The law is designed to protec…

My wife gained 60lbs (even before pregnancy so I’m not a shit head). Like you I’m not as sexually attracted to her. I’m giving her a year to make progress on her weight but the issue is she could lose it for a few years and then just gain it all back. Being fit and skinny is just not in her nature. I’ve heard of people doing this. Do you just move states and lay low? What happens when you want to get another professional job at a large company? Also if you have kids this doesn’t work out or you won’t be seeing your kids anymore. Lucky bastards who didn’t have children I’m jealous of you all.

For me my current wife was pretty good in the beginning. Hell we would even have sex in changing rooms at the mall lol. She was so much fun in the beginning. Gave decent blowjobs too. Now I have to ask her multiple times for blowjobs and even then I don’t get them often. And when I do, she does it for like 60 seconds and quits. She then asks to finish me with her hands etc. If I wanted a handjob I would have just jacked myself off. Lol. I admittedly wasn’t with many women before meeting my wife.

So true.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 05:14 PM

Yeah this seems to be a big issue in marriages. Also sex drives can change through time. I guess it wouldn’t be a big deal if she did it like once a week. But we don’t even get that. And BJs are non existent
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 05:13 PM

Yeah but the women willing to do it to please you are they only doing it because you’re in the beginning of the relationship? Seems like a lot of them do it in the beginning and then stop once they bag you.

Haha so true. She might not suck your cock but she’s sucking off the other guy!

This seems to happen a lot. Women do it in the beginning of the relationship and the. Just stop.

Sometimes…. She normally doesn’t like me going down on her because she’s concerned about smell etc. I personally don’t mind it.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 02:38 PM

Tell her you booked a trip to Thailand, or Tijuana and are going to fuck so many hot young girls until your dick can’t get hard anymore.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 12:30 PM
3

Damn this story is told all the time. I’m in the same boat. Wife makes significantly less than me. When we divorce I’ll have to pay her $14k a year in CS payments and that’s with 50:50 split custody. Luckily I don’t think I’ll have to pay her any alimony. The CS I’m telling her is for our sons college so don’t blow all the fucking money.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 12:27 PM

As others have said stay far away from single moms. If you had a vasectomy and want to fuck around with one fine but don’t get serious with them. They just want another provider and her kids will always come before you.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 12:26 PM

Everyone in this thread just saying to go and don’t give a fuck about the new gf obviously has some issues against women due to their failed relationships. If you want a relationship to work you still need to be honest with how the other person feels about certain situations. That’s why your point of turning the situation around made much more sense. Many men in here would be PISSED if the situation was reversed.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 12:25 PM

This I agree with. I’d be pissed if my new gf wanted to go to her ex house where ex will be and decorate a tree together etc. Now if I were invited too that might be ok but no way can she go by herself

I’m not that successful. I’m doing ok but I worked A LOT of hours to get here and gave up a lot too. I think that’s why I’m so attached to the money I make and I don’t want to share it with her if we ever divorce. Also she just doesn’t treat me very well. And I don’t think she deserves it. She’s very lazy. But this is what women do. They hope to bag a man who earns a lot of money and leech off of them.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/22 01:31 AM

Did you get a pre nup? Or post nup? I’m guessing you got a pre nup.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 07:53 PM

Yeah I’m getting a vasectomy soon. So hopefully pregnancy won’t be an issue. The only benefit she has to signing the post nup is that she still splits 50/50 in the assets we build over time.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 02:47 PM

Yes she’s pretty lazy in that area too. She hardly ever gives blowjobs and when she does they are not very good because she just doesn’t like going down on me. I’m clean shaven and wash very well with soap and water too before she does it. When she does go down she will do it for like 60 seconds then stop because she says she doesn’t like doing it and doesn’t want to anymore. Like most men, I love blowjobs. So do I want to go through the rest of my life with shitty to no blowjobs? That’s one iss…

Does your wife earn more than you though? If the income difference was only like 20% more I wouldn’t bother but since I earn almost 3x what my wife does and will continue to earn more I’m just not sure I want to take the risk staying married to her.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 02:39 PM
1

Yeah just be careful because courts can eventually give her the divorce if they can’t find you and she proves you ran away. Then there is a legal gray area if you owe alimony etc to her or took more than your fair share. The other option is get the divorce then go to South America. If you can get citizenship down there that’s ideal. Then you can maybe get employment down there and stop paying her any form of alimony.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 02:37 PM

How the fuck will he convince the wife to move there? Or does he just take all his money and run away?
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 11:47 AM

I read an article that gray divorces are growing. People later in life getting divorced more often. But I agree. Who wants to start dating when you’re 60 yo? Maybe try marriage counseling? Even if you’re not in love might be best to just stay together and try to make the most of it.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 11:46 AM

I wouldn’t care if our incomes were closer. Like if I only earned an extra 20k over her. But the income gap is only going to widen. And it’s not like she does $100k worth of house chores and cooking to make up the difference.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/22 11:39 AM

Exactly this! I don’t even bother posting in r/divorce as it’s literally all women who will just shit on you even though they have no idea how I’m treated and what I’ve put up with.

Not all states offer that. The state I live in does not.
/r/Divorce_Men05/12/22 09:37 PM

Not available in my state. My state only divorce would be the option. Post nuptial agreement is enforceable according to the lawyers I spoke with as long as we don’t divorce until a year or two after signing it. You can’t just sign it and then divorce the next week.
/r/Divorce_Men05/12/22 08:44 PM
4

Here is how I see it. If she doesn’t sign it then I’m probably going to divorce her. It’s too risky to stay married. If she does sign it she still will share 50/50 of our assets if we divorce even though I contributed significantly more to those assets. Also she gets to keep our family together and not have to split 50:50 custody of our son who is currently 1 years old. Otherwise if we do divorce she missed out on all my earnings unless she can bag another high earning man (easier said than done…
/r/Divorce_Men05/12/22 08:38 PM

Yeah but I’m sure of all the people that eventually get divorced they trusted their SO at some point. My issue is the law. The law fucks the higher earning individual.

I might be joining you soon. Same story. Met my wife in my early 20s. Went through a lot together. I’m thinking of filing eventually but we will see. I’d like to work through things with her and she seems to be treating me better knowing that if we divorce now she wouldn’t get shit since our marriage is short term. I’ve been thinking of having her sign a post nuptial agreement to protect my future self. The longer we stay married the more likelihood that I’ll have to pay alimony.
/r/Divorce_Men05/12/22 07:48 PM

Yeah this. I tried to get a therapist but the wait is months and even then there is no guarantee when. And also only women were available. I’m not sexist but I do feel like these women will have their own inherent biases. So I’d rather talk to a male.
/r/Divorce_Men05/12/22 07:09 PM

The issue is women hold more power in the relationship the longer you are together. The power dynamic changes as you age where women gain more power because they know in a divorce they can absolutely fuck you.

3

This is so fucking true. Women LOVE to complain to their friends and family about their husbands and the negative aspects of the relationship but never really talk about the positives. Also as you said if the friends are talking in her ear etc then you’re doomed. Because they will only take your wife’s side of the story and just make shit worse. This happened to me during my wife’s pregnancy. Basically I work more hours than her and earn over $100k more than she does because I’ve always worked m…

I think a lot of men go through issues with dead bedroom, losing sexual attraction to wife because she gained a ton of weight, etc. My issue is my wife gained 60lbs and I’m losing sexual attraction to her. She is going to try and lose the weight so we will see. But it does negatively effect our sex life and the sex positions she can’t do anymore. Second this. Also start researching the red pill. Some of the shit on there is a little crazy but some of it definitely holds truth. Not really. Just be fit, attractive and look for women into swinging. You can even join swinging clubs etc.

Thank you. Like I said, we split chores and baby duties 50:50. She has family helping to watch the kid and we hire cleaning people already to come help clean. Overall she’s not doing a ton around the house. She has free time to work out. And honestly she barely tried to diet or exercise before we had the kid. Why did we have the kid? I don’t know. It was during the middle of the pandemic and all our friends and family were having kids so we said fuck it and did it. Looking back I really regret h…

I truly do not believe people who cheat are bad people. Yes society will automatically berate you for it but honestly you’re a great person. You did it because you were not sexually attracted or happy in your relationship. LOTS of men cheat. Many great men have cheated and will cheat in the future. It’s in our nature to want more sexually partners to “spread or seed” even if we have no intent in having kids. Our bodies are wired to want to have sex with hot women. It’s just how it is.

I think OP needs to find a wife who is into swinging. You get to have emotional monogamy but sexual pleasure with multiple people etc.

This just isn’t always true. Also if you’re not sexually attracted to your wife that can be a tough one to overcome. And some people really love having multiple new sex partners. Hence why people swing, cuckold, get permission from wife to see escorts or have a 3 some with another woman etc. There is not one slice fits all answer and monogamy and sex with one person for the rest of your life isn’t want everyone wants. The problem is some people don’t learn what they really want until they are ol…

I don’t completely agree with this. I’ve been married 5 years together for 11. Overall the sex has gone down hill not because I’m bored with her but because she gained 60lbs and refuses to workout and remain athletic. I’ve tried everything to get her to workout and lose weight and like you I’m not as sexually attracted to her. Sex during the first few years of our relationship was amazing because she was fit, athletic so could do some other fun sex positions that she can’t do now, and she gave w…

You can have a fun single life but you need to have money and or be somewhat younger and attractive. A 31m is still young. Women in their 20s love guys who are established in their early 30s especially if OP is fit and attractive.

Damn that’s actually a really good plan. Also I’d feel like a piece of shit for doing that to her but it may be the best option.

Yeah it’s tough to do for sure. But that’s why others have said you need to be comfortable with yourself and being by yourself before going into a relationship. Ultimately never stop working on yourself. If that’s your career, hobbies, exercising and working out etc. Read books to learn new things etc. Be constantly learning and bettering yourself focusing on YOU.

Bingo. The laws are set up to benefit women. Honestly if any of us knew what we know now no one would get married. It’s a shit deal.

Exactly this. She just doesn’t give a fuck anymore about him but it’s convenient for her to stay because he earns significantly more than her I’m sure and he probably does more around the house etc. This right here is why I’m scared of staying married long term.

I have a buddy who is married and fucks escorts behind his wife’s back. He says he does it because she puts no effort into sex. Doesn’t bother doing her makeup anymore. If they do have sex she just acts like a rock and they only do missionary. He’s been married 20 years and she doesn’t work so a divorce would ruin him financially. So spending 5k a year on escorts is WAY cheaper he says than the cost of a divorce.

This is what’s fucked up about our society. Women want all the benefits that men have but none of the negatives. They want equal pay fine, but they never want to pay for dates in the beginning. They want the man to buy them expensive jewelry. Ok I spent $2k on a necklace and she buys me a $500 Xbox. That’s nice but I’m still negative $1500. Society has evolved so men get fucked financially in relationships. It’s why I’ve told many men that it’s probably significantly cheaper to get a dog for com…

Sounds to me like you’re depressed because you’re starting to fall for this girl? You’re scared she will leave you or cheat on you or something else to hurt you? As others said, you shouldn’t look at it as she’s better than you. You are better than her. You’re awesome. She compliments your life but you don’t need her. Go to the red pill subreddits and learn more about a new way of thinking about women and dating. It will be eye opening.

Second this comment. Do not tell her you’re feeling depressed etc. Go read the sidebar on r/marriedredpill to learn more. Women want a man who is somewhat vulnerable and opens up but she doesn’t want to hear all your problems. It makes you look weak. If you need someone to talk to them hire a therapist or talk to some of your guy friends.

Also if you’re lonely get a dog. It’s “mans best friend” for a reason. Also studies show that dogs help with depression and loneliness

I’m not going to tell the judge we are splitting because she got fat lol. Honestly I’ll just say we grew apart and argue all the time which is true too. As far as money goes, getting out of the relationship now will save me more money down the road. So just trying to determine the best time to pull the plug if I want to pull it.

I’m curious to have your advice on this?

Thank you. That’s something I will have to discuss with her. I’m not sure she will be ok with this and will take it as I’m divorcing her or getting ready to divorce her.

It’s tough. I’m not ready to fully divorce her. And legal separation sounds like we are not married anymore. If the post nup could hold power then that would be ideal.

Yeah after my experience on r/divorce I’m never going back to that shit sub. Even the mods are women. I posted once under another account and they banned me because they didn’t like that I was saying how unfair divorce is for the higher earning spouse.

Oh yeah I love the baby. My wife gained a bunch of weight before we had the baby. But in my opinion I’ve gotten to the point where I’m losing my love for her. I’m 32 YO. I just want her to be fit and not obese. Doesn’t have to look how I met her in our early 20s but I do expect her to get back to being normal weight.

Haha yeah I already decided to get snipped. No more kids for me. Not worth it as the man to have more kids. One and done is fine. I’ve told her she needs to keep her job to support our lifestyle. Hopefully she continues to work. But as you said, she could decide at anytime that she doesn’t want to work. Then I’m shit out of luck. That’s another reason marriage is just a fucking waste.

Exactly. Men need to stick together and help each other. I got berated on the r/divorce sub from the women on there.

Probably. But that’s my plan. Basically if she doesn’t lose weight and start doing more around the house then I’m out of here.
/r/Divorce_Men01/12/22 04:25 PM

Yeah because I can guarantee it’s a lot of women in that sub who hate men.

Sadly you are correct. And it’s why I’m looking to pull the plug on this relationship if need be. I’ve only been married for 5 years so spousal support wouldn’t be that bad.

It’s not beneficial to make less now. Plus judges will see how much I made previously. She can only get some of the income difference not all of it anyway.

In my state there are some limits to spousal support so it wouldn’t be exactly 50/50. I believe the law states “the amount of alimony should not exceed the recipients need OR 30-35% of the income difference. Technically even if I was hit with the 35% income difference I would still end up ahead compared to her but man it would hurt having to pay all that extra money to her. I think spousal support is complete bullshit. It’s literally a bonus for the lower earning spouse. I’ve also thought of mov…
