Don't threaten me with a good time. If I have to choose between a shitty man who puts porn on a pedestal and being alone the rest of my life, I'll gladly choose being alone.

Orlando Bloom has very likely cheated on Katy Perry, got angry at his ex years after the breakup for getting serious with a new boyfriend, he can't control his temper, his alcoholism cost him a marriage already and Howard Stern is his role model. You know what Howard Stern has said? On April 21, 1999, the day after the Columbine High School shooting, Stern mused about the "really good-looking girls" who ran for their lives away from the gunmen. "There were some really good-looking girls running …

Listen, never put a man on a pedestal. He is a stranger, he isn't worth your frustration. You are not going to be rewarded with some f*cking Disney Prince if only you are invested enough in a guy. Talk to multiple guys at once, date multiple guys, look at what's out there. Dick is abundant and low value. You have no business focussing 2 weeks on some loser who cannot plan a date for the life of him.

Don't worry, men are all just different flavours of shit. Doesn't matter that the flavour is better in comparison, he's still a piece of shit. If men decide to avoid you because of your succes, that says more about them than about you. Would you really want to be with someone who would resent you if you were more successful? Live your life for you, do what makes you happy, be your own life partner. Men come and go, you are the only person you are stuck with for the rest of your life. Don't avoid…

Breakfast or lunch are better than dinner in my opinion. Dinner is an evening activity, sex is an evening activity. Men are less likely to expect or pressure for sex if you avoid dates in the evening. Breakfast or lunch are also more transparent, it's in the daylight, people could see him. So less likely that he's cheating or sleeping around. It'll also be less likely that he will drink alcohol during the date, so he doesn't get to rely on liquid courage.

You just learned from your mistakes and you're more careful. That is a good thing. A lot of women get burned and don't learn from their mistakes. Take a good look at this new guy. Is he really that great? Of course any man is going to look great in comparison to your ex, but that doesn't mean this is a great guy. ''Moving on in a well-adjusted way'', is often code for: silly woman, don't listen to your intuition, don't learn from your experiences, you need to learn how to trust shitty men again.…

Don't even give them a reason. It just communicates to him ways to convince you to say yes, that's all they hear. If it's your boundary, they should respect it based on that. You shouldn't be needing to give him a reason so he can decide whether it is good enough to respect your boundaries. Just keep repeating: No, why would I do that? According to: ''Never Split the Difference: negotiating as if your life depended on it'', you make a huge mistake assuming the other person is arguing from a poin…

I ignore everyone though, including family. My work is quite chaotic, I would end up having to send a mass text to everyone with a standard message or something every time, I don't have time or energy to send personalized messages if I did notify people. People who know me, know by now to not take it personally. They call me when it's important or make an appointment with me. Random dudes from OLD don't know this though...

I can recommend meeting men at a non-franchise gym (there are more fuckboys at franchise gyms,). I've met several HVM's there, but the trade off is that they tend to be less intelligent. I am personally still debating whether it's worth it to give up on ever having deep intelligent conversations with a significant other again, to have a man who is loyal, kind and crazy about me/chasing me (with as a bonus him looking like a model).

I can't settle for great sex if everything else is shit. Even when I tried once, he just stopped wanting sex to make sure I hated everything about the relationship. It took me forever to come to terms with loving a man THAT disordered. What kind of man withholds sex? A controlling one. It's so nefarious, because women are constantly told that all men constantly want sex. So if they don't, the woman gets blamed. My ex tried to pull that one, I think he didn't expect me to break up with him over i…

500 Days of Summer is actually a lot smarter than you give it credit. It's literally the opposite? He wants her to be his Manic Pixie Dream Girl, but she keeps having her own personality, dreams and wishes, that have nothing to do with him. It teaches people that ''Just because a girl likes the same crap you do, doesn't mean she's your soulmate.'' Don't worry about it. Even if you had a good relationship with your father, they will insist you have daddy issues anyway. If it's a LVM, he's going to try to chip away no matter what. So just be vigilant and if it's a LVM, kick him to the curb immediately.

He is depressed and wants to lobotomize himself. His family chastises him for losing me. He struggles to hold down a job, so he needed to get a second roommate to continue paying the bills. He's old, ugly and still single now, so he probably feels stupid for making comments like "why don't you have a sixpack year round?". Now he literally cannot get anyone, because he wasted his money and aged a decade due to drug use.

Yes we love to have sex and we're not broke, but we have this thing called self control and standards. What's up with men thinking that if a woman has a high libido, she will be compelled to hop on your dick after 1 date? I don't care how horny I am, I'm not giving you what you want. Men think women who won't immediately sleep with them have low libido or are frigid, no honey, we're just not completely controlled by our genitals.

At this point I might give up on men. Just the idea of giving a man any control in my life makes the cortisol go up. I'd rather buy a house with a good female friend or girlfriend (I might be bisexual) if the economy/housing market stays this shitty. The idea that women are completely lonely without men is laughable.

I don't know where you are from in Eastern Europe, but imo compared to my culture (Dutch), Eastern European guys are a lot more generous. Though the extremely toxic ideas about women thing is immediately off-putting. Probably not all of them adhere to such beliefs, but it's unnerving. Even the cute innocent guys end up getting corrupted by friends and end up with major madonna-whore complexes. I don't know if it's a cultural thing or whether the incel movement has infected Eastern Europe a lot. …

It's really strange going on a date with an American. For a second I thought I was being love bombed, because one gave a small gift at the beginning of a date. Meanwhile a Dutch man would hound you for €2,- til the end of time, don't be surprised when he sends a payment request for it.

Yep, it's why I don't agree with falling for guy's ''equality we have to pay 50/50'' spiels. It's ingrained in the culture, yes, but that doesn't mean we should just roll over and pay up. All the High Value Marriages I have seen between two Dutch people; the man is still generous! Generous with his time, money, affection; he doesn't keep score. If we had such a great deal with our supposed ''equal'' culture, it wouldn't be women filing for divorce 70% of the time, citing lack of trust and ''inco…

We're cheaper in general in Northern Europe, both sexes are. We're also not a very warm people in comparison to other cultures. Though the men are on a whole new level. Their idea of equality is that you both have fulltime jobs and pay 50/50, but you still have to look like a model, do all the chores, take care of the children. I mean it with the 50/50. Legal partnerships are a thing in some places though. If you don't want to marry because it's technically a religious thing, or you don't want to be forced to get a super expensive lawyer when you divorce, you can enter into a legal partnership in some countries. Do take note that not every country recognizes registered partnerships.

My father was told to divorce my mother by her therapist after she had post partem psychosis. He was supporting her too much according to the therapist. Main reason he hasn't had any luck in his love life ever since is that not many women are understanding of single fathers with full custody of the child. He refused to ever not prioritize me, so I was often seen as competition for his time and attention. I was friendly towards any girlfriends, but I just received automatic animosity. Not all sin…

Yeah I'll have to look for a guy with a healthy self esteem who is at my level or above, to get into a healthy relationship. Below my level and I'll be losing and they'll just resent me. And the ones at my level still need healthy self esteem to not pursue/require someone who needs 'saving'.

You too are mostly misunderstanding what I was getting at. Yes and that is what I mean, that last sentence. Relying on a person vs them just being an addition to your life. Being needed vs being wanted. Men seem to be obsessed with wanting to be relied on and they become resentful when you don't actually need them, is what I have seen at least. So I assume there are exceptions, but this is what I've been experiencing. I don't offer to pay, but I have had it happen several times now that men on O…

Yes so that is telling him I want him. That is not what I am talking about. How is a guy going to feel when you can easily pay for yourself, you are buff and obviously can open the jar yourself, have an university education so you obviously know it yourself? How is a guy going to feel when logically he knows you don't need him, at all? You might allow him to help with things anyway, but he knows you can leave him at any second and he isn't needed. Only wanted.

It's not women's fault, it's never women's fault that they got raped. Alright? But there are certainly things that scare off potential rapists. Since we are stuck in a society that is too busy with pandering to men (in dresses) to care about rape victims, all we can do is take care of each other. At least in the meantime. If you do get raped, please don't shower. DON'T SHOWER, let me repeat that again, DON'T SHOWER. Go linea recta to the hospital, have them perform a rape kit. You may feel incre…

I have a hot stalker. His ideal woman is a beautiful innocent young virgin, and yet he is hung up on me, someone who is not a virgin and older than him. He has even met the man I slept with, my ex. I was lucky. Because of the long distance I was mostly just going on about my life, having gifts sent to my house and going on vacation with him every 2 months. Just be busy with your career and don't give men the time of day. They'll automatically start showing red flags, like sending passive aggressive texts because you don't reply when you're working, or any other signs of entitlement. Don't even respond to anything that sounds horny, needy etc. They'll show themselves the door. Once they've shown they don't actually respect you and your time, never interact with them again. Make it clear that it's not okay and that they cannot rope you back in.

I got the same spiel before ''Oh they were all crazy'', and he had some pretty good explanations for it. Then kinda forgot to mention they started acting crazy because he likes to manipulate and gaslight everyone in his life. He wouldn't even cheat, but just act shady on purpose, to drive his exes crazy and make them snoop so he could then chastise them for the snooping. Yeah it's a lose-lose situation. They either are gold diggers, or feel emasculated by you earning more than him, because he's 'supposed to be the provider'. There's a story of a woman who did that in 'Nice girls don't get the corner office', and she ended up in career limbo.
