Men do, but most men do not feel it on the caliber I suspect women do. I'm putting together this whole post-redpill framework of how I believe attraction truly works on both sides. I think that if a woman admires the man she is with, then that might just be enough for her so that when someone better comes along, she might just be content enough to not branch swing or cheat. Do you think that's true?

Well that was my attempt at using an example to describe what I think it is. An unconscious buildup of desire that leads to unfortunate decisions and split relationships. It’s the same definition most redpiller’s give for hypergamy, but I don’t think it’s as nihilistic as men tend to make it. I think it’s just like how the classical definition is, with the caveat that instead of there being a degree of selfishness to it, it’s almost as if it were like an alcoholic denying they have a problem, wh…

I suppose to me it’s a subtle feeling. You see someone that you admire just a little bit more than your boyfriend. You might walk past this person in the hallway as part of your daily routine. Every time, you go over how he’s just an inch better than your boyfriend. And it recurs day after day, not noticing that slowly building attraction until suddenly it’s all you think about. That was the unconscious, but here is where the conscious comes into play. To pursue him or not pursue? You’re a taken…

So you don’t think that hypergamy is a factor in you choosing, or retaining, a partner?

For the most part, yea. It can also be said that applies to almost everything in life, from professional to personal.

The demeaning is actually a positive once you get to the other side and realize that the demeaning and calling guys “incels” and “nice guys” is just good-natured masculine ribbing that actually holds lessons in disguise. I have literally never seen incels and nice guys used in a 'ribbing' context. And no, this conversation is not just about me, but the 'average man' in general. Honestly I think you're just looking for things to get mad at

If you’re still not getting laid, the problem is you, not the world. If you read the post you'd understand that I agree, but at the same time, the average man of today doesn't even see that. Not only that, but even if they saw, the average man of today likely doesn't even have the fortitude to make themself into the type of man that is wanted by women. Lemme explain Normally I would look at the statement I just made and say 'yea this dude is just trying to get attention' but here specifically I …

Well that's the thing, I have obligations here in New England. I'm trying to get into MIT, and my friends and family are all here. Plus I admit I don't think I'm ready to really strike out on my own yet.
