Yeah, that’s kinda what I mean. Like, it’s one thing to just ask again when there are opportunities (i.e. you’re both single, come across each other again, feel as if there’s some kind of chemistry, and think it’s worth another shot) versus putting your love life on hold, pining over this girl who is either friendzoning you, using you for compliments/attention, or keeping you in her back pocket in case her options run out (which won’t happen). Confidentially pursuing vs pathetically pursuing, I …

I just don’t feel like there’s anything wrong with just straight up “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be interested? You’re cute and cool as hell. If you’re not into me like that, that’s cool too, it doesn’t change anything about our friendship.” Basically, you’re not all in love with her but you’d be curious to see if there’s something more. Call it a date or hanging out or whatever. I don’t think you’d need to use game or anything in this particular case. Just be straight up with her. That might be attrac…

It’s not really a “right or wrong” thing, though. That’s how you choose to go about it, and that’s an awesome way to be. But, sure, you’re really spewing yourself up if you’re getting hung up on one girl who is stringing you along while you put your life on hold. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the idea of “I keep asking and she keeps saying no, but I’m damn sure gonna ask again” if you’re still living and enjoying your life in the way that you want to. I wouldn’t even exist if my …

Sorry if I’m late on this post, if anybody will see it. I am also really skinny and have always been a little self conscious about it. Only now starting to take action First off, get on a good weight training weight gain routine. Not just for girls, but health, discipline, confidence in general, being productive with your time, taking care of yourself. Kind of a longer story than it needs to be. I was just thinking the other day about dancing, how I taught myself to dance (had bad social anxiety…

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but having recently read on this seduction stuff, it makes me think of this movie Crazy Stupid Love, where Ryan Gosling is showing Steve Carell how to change his love life around after his wife cheats on him. Like, I bet the Gosling character was probably inspired by one of the PUA books

A verbal method to make them cum without physical stimulation? Care to elaborate a bit on this?

This is kinda what I was thinking. You want to be pretty good or at least have this confidence in your mind that you know what you’re doing once you get her behind closed doors, when it’s a girl that you really like. Trust me on that. I had a real shot with this girl that I was really over the moon about, one night. But my lack of experience and confidence caused me to hesitate and not really know what to do to progress the situation to the bedroom. And I was a virgin at the time, so the back of…

Hmm, telling her about it and asking to be shown the ropes could backfire I didn’t lose my virginity til I was 22, but I was maybe 20 and this girl kinda tried to pick up on me. African American girl, not that that makes a difference, but I feel like she may have been curious about being with a white guy and just zeroed in on me in this class lol. She came over and drank at my apartment, was sending obvious signals, but I didn’t know wtf to do and was honestly pretty intimidated lol. She had thi…

I think it’s a really great idea and mindset to look at every social interaction as a practice, in some way. You’re trying to hit these attraction switches on a girl, and you can do that on anybody. Not in an attraction sense, but just in the way that you are presenting yourself or steering the vibe of the conversation. I just remember that Pick Up Artist show on VH1. Thought it was kinda dumb at the time, a bit phony and trying too hard to be a comedy. But now I realize that Mystery guy was dro…

Yeah, I think that’s the best idea. Somebody can correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the idea is just to confidently go at it with a game plan, like a running back rushing the line, but with the mindset that it don’t really matter to you. “If it works, great. If it don’t, oh the fuck well”. Her loss and you’ve got plenty other options (whether you really do or not, she don’t need to know all that lol). Like that dipshit from Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Probably had mostly shitty advice, I can…

I think this is a great point, and “needy” is the perfect word for it. I don’t see any kind of weakness or wrong with being a “nice guy” as long as you have a true understand of why you’re being this way. You have to be honest with yourself. If you find you’re being nice, sweet, complimentary, listening to her problems, going out of your way, prioritizing her needs, etc. BECAUSE she is a pretty girl and you’re trying to get in her pants or get with her, then it’s going to come off as needy, desp…

I kinda hate that we have to do the whole “asshole facade” in the first place. Or at least I did for the longest time. I’ve had social anxiety all my life, so maybe it’s something where I do worry too much about unintentionally hurting somebody’s feelings. In my high school and early college, I was more the “quiet, mysterious” type (which did work for me in the initial stages, but then once I got a girl on my line, I’d become the “sweet nice guy” routine and shoot myself in the foot). But I’ve n…

I definitely don’t know for sure, but from the context of the story, I would imagine the sweat drop emoji might have just been like “dripping sweat at the gym!” Maybe? Lol , I know how it goes overthinking the emojis. I could get “eggplant + raindrops” and I’ll be like “Does this mean she’s down to clown, or she just wants to go to the grocery to get some stuff for eggplant parm, but it’s raining?”

Oh yea, when I was in my first couple years of college, I was super shy about talking to strangers. When I’d be walking to class and a pretty girl did this, I’d probably just look at her for a second, maybe even have a bit of a deer in headlights look. I couldn’t even make myself smile back. Just keep on walking. But it definitely would make my day. I’d be thinking to myself “Damn, did she think I was hot enough just from seeing me walk by to do that? Was it a mistake? Was she smiling at somebod…

Man, I relate. I got out of a LTR about a year back, and I’m just recently been trying to prepare to get back in the dating game. I’ve been living with my parents while I have gotten back in school, which kinda throws a wrench in things, but I’ve just recently started to really try and improve my confidence, start lifting weights, and reading up on some of this psychology of attraction. It’s actually kinda fascinating to me, a new way of looking at things. It’s really opened my eyes a lot to all…
