I understand women don't have to shave or whatever. But it's about them being proud that they're not shaving. They are no longer doing it for themselves but doing it to provoke men, so that they can argue and shame the man for preferring women to be shaved. If you're not gonna shave just don't shave a shut up about it. Don't be a non-shaver and then make it your whole identity and draw attention to it.

If this is true, it makes age gap relationships even worse, because you should know when that man is too old for you and you still go for them anyway. I knew from my little summer job in college that middle-aged women hitting on me was creepy as fuck and I'd never dream of dating any of them. Why should it be different with women? That man is old enough to be your dad and you still think "Hm, I should date him"

No woman should be proud of getting work done. Any type of cosmetic surgery such as breast implants, butt implants, and lip fillers screams insecurity and not something to boast or brag or flaunt about.

I honestly wonder how he managed to get her knocked up 3 times being he was always in a cell. Conjugal visits? Or she cheatin lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 02:55 AM

Two thoughts here: Why does nobody blame the women in age gap relationship. If you're early 20s and the majority of your peers are in relationships with people close in age, you know firmly well that dating someone your father's age is weird as fuck. I refuse to accept they don't understand or know the optics of it. You have to know. When can we talk about women choosing the assholes and the badboys? Something about these guys are getting them an audition with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/25 02:30 AM

If you're the type of woman who puts "I don't do hookups so swipe left" in your bio, then those are the kind of men that you're attracting/choosing. I mean think about it. If I had to put "no gold diggers" in my bio, I must be swiping on all the gold diggers.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 11:31 AM

How many times are we gonna have to deal with this same oversimplification and strawman argument. Passport bro doesn't equate 100% to going after poor women. There are developed countries outside of US.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 03:08 AM

I think this is false. Women don't want to date the passport bros. Women just want an easy target to dunk on and ridicule. If those passport bros approached any of the women who talk shit about passport broing, they'd get rejected straight up.

Photoshop grifters are one thing. But simply being a size 0 is another. I feel like people still call that unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 03:11 AM

Question for women. How are bodies "unrealistic" if all bodies are valid. That unrealistic body is still someone's body.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 03:08 AM

I don't think people understood the point I was trying to make last time when I said that I'm getting served a bunch of thirst trap videos of random women in my feeds. All the jokes were, "Oh, it's your algorithm, it's just showing you what you want to see." It's not about me, though. It's about the endless supply of women creating these videos and what possesses them to do so. You can spare the "oldest profession" jokes too. These aren't OF models or sex workers. These are just average women tr…

This is just a problem I've been shouting about feminism for years. They don't gather women on board before criticizing men or asking us to change behavior. The biggest myth is that they want men to show vulnerability and open up more. But as we all know, as soon as a man shows any kind of emotion or vulnerability they lose attraction for him. Feminists put the cart before the horse. If you want to see that kind of man in the world, first signal to your fellow women that it's okay to ACCEPT that…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 08:39 PM

But that's beside the point, there are still many women participating in this.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 03:45 AM

In conclusion, either Instragram is specifically pushing sexy woman content at dudes, or some of you need to stop using social media sites to find porn and being shocked when it gives you more porn. That doesn't change the fact that these women are supplying the product though. Like there wouldn't be any of this soft porn for Instagram to suggest if it weren't so abundant and freely available.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 03:44 AM

The number of reels that are just random, regular women showing off cleavage is crazy. I think it goes to show that left to their own devices, women will choose to exploit and sexualize themselves. It is no longer an issue of "male gaze"

I'm gonna answer your question with the brutal honesty these men won't tell you. It's because they don't want the dating process to be merit based. Yes, women are hypergamous but they're arguing that women SHOULDN'T be and just accept whatever low effort version of themselves that they are presenting. Like, the fact that women are hypergamous isn't the world they'd rather see. Men don't wanna become Don Draper just to get a single date. This is basically like telling a woman struggling with dati…

At this point, the "male suicide rate" is just as much as an overused reference as the 1 in 4 statistic. Both are outdated.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 03:12 PM
2

Well, now we're moving away from the original premise just a tad. The fundamental question here is this: Is sorting through a bunch of potential bad matches easier or harder than getting no matches at all? I'd argue that it's still easier to sort out after you've gotten the matches. But to address your new line of questioning directly: It boils down to your selection process. For some reason there fuccbois are getting their foot in the door over the good guys. If I keep swiping over the modest l…

I never claimed the issue was big or small, I just said the perception from women is that they think they don't have it easier when in reality they do have it easier. They seem hesitant to admit it because they never wanna concede that they average male complaining about how women have it easier in dating is actually right. They'd rather continue to gaslight and keep up the facade lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 05:44 PM
5

To be clear, any woman will get matches on a dating site by virtue of being a woman, but the above average in attractiveness will have an exponentially easier time. Lesser attractive women will still get residual "I will bang anything that moves" matches

Looks is the reason they have it easier?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 05:28 PM

Historically, women have tried to say it doesn't matter because the "quality of matches" are so low but if you can't find a quality man out of 100 men I call BS lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 05:11 PM
13

It's easier for women. Somehow I think this is still a controversial comment to admit. Make a profile on a dating app you're guaranteed 100+ matches before the day's end. And that does mess with you and gives you both the freedom and illusion of choice. I know it because when I switch my dating app to a different country and got 100s of matches I said to myself "so this is how the average woman feels"
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 05:05 PM

You're conflating attractiveness with arrogance. The frumpy girls are historically not as arrogant but I've seen in recent observations that tide is starting to turn where the frumpy girls are gaining more confidence as more guys are catching on that they are the better pic than the aspiring Instagram models.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:28 PM

Frumpy girls who never like to get done up or do makeup are more attractive than the girls who are always done up and fishing for likes on Instagram. Plus the frumpy girls are more likely to have a personality and interesting hobbies than the Instagram thirst trapper. There is a problem though. Sometimes the average girls want a taste of what the beautiful girls have. Even though they aren't a 10 to everyone, maybe they're nerdy cute or hipster cute. Those girls will still adopt a hot girl perso…

The internet has truly leveled the playing field when it comes to attention seeking selfies and thirst traps. Before the internet, attention was dominated by the model-like girls and the average girls had to fall behind as subordinates. Nowadays the subordinates think they are actually the models, lol

Every single time I say this I get downvoted into oblivion. This is the #1 core problem of feminism. They HAVE to clean house first before making any changes. If you wanted to lead a slave rebellion but most of the slaves preferred living with Massa, then you're not going to have a very successful rebellion.

Why women deserve less
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 03:03 AM
2

Remove men whining about said women and you still have the core problem at hand - Women being attracted to those men. In essence, you're focusing on the wrong thing. Should men whine less? Of course! But women also need to stop getting with these men altogether. Women can dictate male behavior by who they choose to get with. If tomorrow a switch flipped and women only wanted the nice guys, then that's what men will start behaving like.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 05:10 PM

He has close to 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify; even if half of those are women (I would actually suspect majority are women) that's significant enough amount of women who support him without it being pure subjective opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 04:42 PM

I think that strangely makes my point, though. Sure, it would be nice to discount those women, but at the end of the day, they're still women. It's easy to sit here online and say that they're a minority or they're not representative of all women, but at the end of the day, the number of women that DO fall in that category is significant enough to be discussed.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 04:32 PM

Women still being attracted to Chris Brown is concrete evidence that they ignore red flags of abusive men, in some obvious situations. Not saying all victims are to blame, just saying that it's not always the case where men are hiding who they are until they abuse women. Chris Brown is proof that women are capable of overlooking previous abuse if they perceive the man to be high value enough.

But the point that OP is trying to make is that you all should be as loud about the sex work as you are about the age gaps*
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/24 08:19 PM

Women believe it's always men hiding who they are until it's too late and sometimes that's the case but many times it's NOT. I'm tired of this narrative that every man is hiding his true colors until you fall in love with him and then he throws the cape off and becomes an abuser. It's simply not true, at least not enough times for you all to believe it's the norm. The truth is, many women want the bad boy and the man who is showing you who he truly is up front, but you simply believe that it can…

This is kinda like saying the Model T is prone to backfiring. Yes, AI in its infancy has problems. How does that address what OP has outlined, which represents a case of future development?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 01:23 AM

That's what I'm saying. Women think this is cute or some big romantic gesture. Not many jobs are going to let you skate off without a sufficient notice. The whole thing just screams fairy tale and I'm tired of seeing "Get you a man that shows efforft!" Honey, "effort" doesn't mean expecting you to go along with some sudden shit when you have 0 notice.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 02:31 AM

Women that want a man to spontaneously plan trips are just inviting a man to make decisions for them without considering their input. And you see women fawn over this behavior too: "Get dressed, I made reservations for 8PM" "Pack your bags, we're going on vacation tomorrow" Women describe this as a "If he wanted to, he will" attitude but all I see is a man who didn't ask you if you wanted dinner or wanted a vacation. I mean if a girl said "Pull your pants down, you're getting a blow job" and you…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 11:36 AM

Nice truth bomb there lol!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 10:43 AM

That's not the point. The point is whether women know when a guy is trying his hardest not to come on to her while still coming on to her, like it is obvious or not
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 10:43 AM

Do women know when a guy is commenting on something innocently just to have a chance to flirt? Cuz that's common advice. "Don't comment on her appearance, comment on something else!" Okay... so instead of saying you look cute, I said that your bracelet looks cool or asking what's your dog's name. I still think you're cute, that was just a way of getting my foot in the door lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 10:38 AM

It's quite simple. There is an unspoken social contract about approaching women. You basically have to guess to know if she's receptive or not and only then it is acceptable. It's the myth of "unwanted attention" - all attention is unwanted until it's wanted, so it's not fair to call an approach unwanted attention. Sure, that's in the eye of the beholder, but it also means there's no objective wrongness in approaching.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 10:25 AM

And that's fine. Now they're locked into a 3 year "effort" contract like they're with Verizon or some shit. No thanks.

That's not what I mean by effort. What I mean is meeting a woman's expectations whatever that may be. That may be blowing her mind with a date that she's never been on before. If you hear "Dinner and a movie is boring, I want you to put in some effort" - run. I'd much rather have a woman who is content with dinner and a movie. Also, there's always little stories on instagram like "I told him I wanted pasta for dinner so he told me to get dressed because he's booking me a surprise vacation in Ita…

"Effort" is stupid. I'm not gonna try to "convince" you that I'm worthy of your attention. Agreed. Self improvement is a scam, no amount of self-improvement is going to get rid of her flaking and ghosting. You're at the will of female approval always. Even if you stop seeking it, you stop "chasing" it doesn't guarantee they'll fall into your lap.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/24 02:08 AM

Women do put men in the friendzone. A huge caveat to the whole "women don't owe you shit for being nice" argument that gets repeated 1000 times is that there are very specific situations where women actually friendzone men. And that's for benefits. Women know when a man can be used for benefits. Oh she wants free food? She can call up the guy that she thinks of as a brother and he's gonna cover it for her. She needs to move into a new apartment? She knows this guy is gonna drop everything and he…

Women, not society, not patriarchy, are the driving force behind excessive sexuality in the modern day. There used to be a time they'd cite "male gaze" or "unfair beauty standards" as the reason that women are how they are. Now women are the driving force. How many times have you heard "we don't dress for men, we dress for ourselves!" therefore, no man or society is pressuring you anymore right? Yeah rich and conventionally attractive men would still be at the top, it's just the behavior they use to get laid would be different. It wouldn't even the playing field at all. Right now you have simps and non-simps. If all the non-simps decided to be simps, the most inferior of simps (which are your current simps) would still be at the bottom.

crying over schindler’s list is only gonna lose you love and respect in the eyes of toxic women who i wouldn’t want in my life at all. I've seen this sentiment raised alot, like, "Well if she's gonna leave you because you showed weakness then she wasn't for you at all!" but let's unpack that a bit more. Isn't that a problem for feminism? Saying you want guys with the kind of emotional intelligence but not providing a safe space for them is a problem. Shouldn't more women be taught to accept what…

I think we really need to keep this train of thought in focus because it is the main paradox of feminism and they don't even realize it. Of course, feminists will make the distinction of "just because I want to be dominated in bed doesn't mean I want to be dominated in life" but what they are doing is still shaping mens behavior to value and build dominance VS. valuing and building equality.

The whole "I'd choose the bear" debate was a product of white feminism. Ah yes, KING Chad, who is always a mean man, abuses the women, pump and dumps them but all those women just line up for the abuse! Attractive men are evil, obviously, and they are hurting as many women as possible! You're comically trying to spin the situation here but yes there are distinct situations where women line up for the abuse. Why do you think drug dealers are getting laid so much? They are clearly not model citizens.

I'll answer the question. Because King Chad knows he's got options, and that usually (90% of time) means he's gonna provide less effort and less commitment. The myth of Alpha Chad who treats his woman and only her like a queen doesn't exist. Meanwhile Beta Billy is ready to worship the ground she walks on because he's never had a steady option before. No one chooses abuse, but what OP should be saying is that there should be signs that there's power imbalances at play and women should be wary of entering into relationships with power imbalance. That's a much more interesting argument to make. And there could be many power imbalances at work. Age is a power imbalance, money, even social status. It doesn't have to be about money. OP argued it poorly. What he meant to say is women willingly enter these power imbalance relationships without thinking of any potential consequences. And let's be real, just look at it from both sides. If a man is targeted for his money, he should at least entertain the idea that the woman is a gold digger, that's just logic. Ask yourself why you should validate yourself to a woman that you've "done the work" anyway? Look at all these responses in this thread. Do you really want to jump through hoops? Dating isn't like coursework where you earn enough credits and now you can graduate. Start asking yourself what you want out a woman, it's not just you who has to "do the work"

I don't hear "only believe women" or "always believe women over men", Actually, believing women inherently implies that second part though right? If a woman accused a man of assault, and the man was like "she's lying" then the "believe women" mantra encourages you to believe the woman over the man right? Unless I'm missing something.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 07:35 AM

Peace of mind, especially when it comes to relationships, absolutely implies the tranquility afforded by not being involved with a partner. So why is it so outlandish to assume that means she's alone? That's definitely the connotation that's being presented whenever they say that.

Keep the same energy. The men that feminists complain about, whether it be the "patriarchy" or the Brock Turners of the world, or the dudes who punch walls instead of going to therapy - are overwhelmingly white.

That's the thing tho. Very few people have zero hobbies, but it seems like having a "hobby" is a substitute for having something unique and interesting to talk about which is not always the case. The truth is, many people are just average, middle of the road. Like, a woman's hobby can be knitting - but knitting is not some wildly unique and interesting hobby or anything.

One day we need to put this myth to bed that having hobbies is a cure-all. People like to say, "Oh you have no hobbies, you just work and come home and sit on your ass and smoke weed and play video games. That's why you don't have women. You need hobbies. Hobbies hobbies hobbies." Okay and what hobbies do WOMEN have? They can also work and come home, many women smoke weed as well, and maybe not game as much as men, but laying on the couch watching their favorite comfort show on Netflix is just a…

I mean, you and I know this, but the average woman goes through great lengths to obfuscate this point because they don't want to be seen as shallow or whatever. As soon as women just openly admit that the rules are different based on how attractive they think the guy is, we can move on from talking around in circles about it.

A single mom being a window is an exception to the rule and not the gotcha that people think it is when it comes to discussing why a woman might be a single mom. People really think they're pulling one over on you when they go, "Well, what if she's a widow? Did you think about that, asshole?" That is the statistically smallest reason for a woman to be a single mother and you know it. The real reason is that she let Chad or Tyrone impregnate them, and they ducked out on their responsibility of be…

I want to speak carefully here. Power imbalance is not inherently exploitation. Does exploitation occur where there IS a power imbalance?? Absolutely, I'm not stupid, I recognize that. But having a power imbalance, in and of itself, isn't exploitation. I could love and care for a woman that I make significantly more money than. Now, to address the point that you're kinda dismissing about the basic human needs. I understand what he's saying. You might have the vision of foreign women living in mu…

This is, of course, the most cartoonish, TV villain type of situation and definitely not the same as someone going overseas and meeting a woman out at a bar or club and using their charm and foreign status to attract them. What you're talking about, a guy has to be really predatory and seek out the kind of woman like that. Don't get me wrong, predatory guys didn't just vanish, they're still out there, but let's not conflate that like it's the norm. I don't know why this hypothetical scenario con…

Seriously, I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Consider the following situation: A guy making 6 figures picks up a woman that's only making $40,000. She's attracted to his wealth, is he exploiting her? Now if I take a $40,000 salary overseas and I attract a woman who sees this as wealth, I'm not inherently exploiting her. I doubled my salary and now I'm being seen the same as the 6 figure guy, but I'm still the same exact person, just way more attractive in a new location.

Two thoughts I had this morning: Jokes such as "the feminism leaving my body when x x x" or "I'm tired of being an independent woman, time to find a rich husband" have nuggets of truth to them. This is how many women really feel but they've been suppressing it to cosplay strong feminist woman. They are expressing that they want to revert back to traditional (patriarchal) norms. But disguising it as a joke. Any time I see a post generalizing men for something negative, it's usually talking about …

women fabricated this bullshit “nice guy” narrative about how truly wholesome kind men are “nOt aS NiCe aS tHeY tHiNk” 🥴 despite this referring to an entirely different category of men who feign kindness in exchange for sexual favors. When this conversation comes up, no one ever says the important thing. Women are wrong for picking these men. And it doesn't matter if it's intentional or not. If they intentionally pick the man, congratulations, you're an idiot and you know better but you think you can "fix" him or whatever. If you're unintentionally picking the wrong men, something still got him an audition with you, which means your values are skewed, so it's not that much comfort in that either.

Women coming up with commandments about "never bother a woman in X places" is useless as it works by guilt-tripping already self-conscious men. This is the important point here. To put a different way: The phrase "unwanted attention" is utter bullshit. EVERY act of attention is unwanted UNLESS it's wanted. I see this brought up alot. "Women are individuals/not a monolith" sure. But the problem is when women apply their individual preference as something that men should not do (i.e. saying "don't approach women in public!") if women are individuals and some women would respond favorably to being approached in public, then it follows that men might be missing out on opportunities had they just approached a woman.

The myth of the "toxic male partner who hides all his red flags until later" is one that gets repeated often here. The problem is that I don't think these guys are that good at hiding. Sure, someone could completely misrepresent who they are to the point that you are completely surprised at when they switch for the worst. And the main point, that people are missing, is that we don't even get to dive into this discussion if you ONLY stop at "this is not a gendered concept" sure, it's not gendered but the discussion doesn't stop there, and people act like the discussion stops right there ALL the time.

Sure, NOBODY should cheat, but a man can bounce back wayyyy quicker from cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 02:49 PM
-5

It's not a justification - because a justification would be that it's okay when men do it. Just like it's not a justification to say that when women abuse men it's far less likely for the man to end up dead. The main point is not even about the examples provided, just that "this is not a gendered concept" has become a bit of a truism and a bit of handwaving off of a deeper discussion that needs to be had.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 02:46 PM
-6

It is though. Because women be so far in love when they're in relationships that the act of cheating means there's something terribly wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 02:41 PM
-4

And I'm not necessarily arguing that their perception can't be that. I'm arguing that saying "cheating is not a gendered concept" robs the opportunity of having a nuanced discussion about what's different when men cheat vs. women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 02:27 PM
-5

You gotta admit that you're talking the extreme ends of those situations. The extreme end of women cheating is her doing it casually and without feelings. The extreme end of men cheating is being fully emotionally invested/in love with the side piece.

If you want to say that "when this gender does this thing, it has different complications", say so instead of "women/men do this". The problem with this is that it should be implied, I mean, very little in behavior is solely a phenomenon of one gender, so I don't get people slamming down this trap card of "BUT IT'S NOT GENDERED" and walking away like they did something. It's like ok, take away that comment and have a good faith discussion, damn it.

It seems like you're saying that women should be as selective as Henry Cavill, which is ironically making my point. Women are too selective here. You have to leave the US to stop dealing with women that are obsessed with being that selective.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:37 PM

The problem is that the advice has grown stagnant, and now we really should just be framing it as "oh, you're in the US? Give up, and go to another country where you're better valued" lol. Unless we socialize women to not care about petty shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:31 PM

And my argument is that, without being the "best" version of who you can be, like, the true advice of "just be yourself" does not work here. You HAVE to move to a different country in order for "yourself" to be seen as attractive lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:28 PM

It's literally the "men want a hot wife when they bring nothing to the table" meme My whole post is about how the "bringing something to the table" part has gotten so unrealistic and unattainable these days. You can't just bring something to the table, you need to be bringing the whole table and the whole house. When you can change countries, come as you are, none of that bringing to the table BS, and find love.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:24 PM
1

But no, a hot chick outside of the "West" also wouldn't date an "average" guy, either. Yes she would. I'm proof! Now, we have to be relative here. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. But all I'm saying is, you can pick up a hot girl outside of the West, who wouldn't dare look your way if she was the same looks wise but grew up in the West. I don't know what it is, but it's like, their capacity to bond is higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:22 PM
1

Unless you've experienced it yourself, you don't really know. But, if you're in the US, start talking to women outside of the US. You'll have a much easier time. It's not you that's broken, it's the culture around you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:19 PM
1

You can find that in a different country very easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:13 PM
2

You just made my point, kinda. Women don't really have to change much about who they are and they'll still be able to find mates. As men, if it's not working out for you in your own surroundings, best to change the scenery to where you ARE being thirsted after just like women are. Because you're never going to be good enough to compete here unless you do some serious leveling up, and even if you did, there's no guaruntee that you won't get left behind by someone bigger and better just as fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:08 PM
1

And being not boring I might have missed this in my original message, but "boring" should be in air quotes. I don't think men are as boring as women make them seem. I think they're just looking to be thrilled on the same level as going skydiving or going on a roller-coaster you know? Like they're looking for the extreme. And if you can't meet that expectation, to thrill her like she's never had before, then you're labeled boring. That's unrealistic and unsustainable lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:06 PM

Let's talk about the propensity to say, "Hmm, I see your argument, but it's not really GENDERED you know?" That only seems to work when men try to make a point. When women complain they get harassed in the gym, no one says "men get harassed to, it's not really gendered" We ALL know it's gendered. And we all know that women requiring unrealistic expectations is gendered. It's not all of them, sure, but it's enough women who think like this to not only make it gendered, but also makes it extremely…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:03 PM

That's what I'm saying - the game is rigged, it's far easier to just not participate than it is trying to "level up enough" to compete. It's like trying to beat a pay-to-win game without paying. You can't do that here, but you can do it in other countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 11:59 AM

This is so overblown. Yes, there are girls who are like that, which is no different from being in the US btw, but there are many girls who don't want to be seen as gold diggers there, and will actually get offended if you try to win them over with money.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 11:58 AM

Yes, but that's my point though right? You haven't changed the core of who you are when you go abroad. You truly are an interesting person..... just not in the culture that you were born in. And you've tapped into something interesting that I don't think you're getting either. It's actually the perfect foil to the situation I've presented. Here are these young men that, for some reason, just have to have a muscle car. Like, no regular sedan will do, it's gotta have the souped up engine so they can revv it all the way down the road. They're so attracted to this toxically masculine bullshit. Yeah, the salesmen provided a product, but those men CAME to them. Were some lured in? Maybe, …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:25 PM

Lol so ironically, it's those 18 year old kids who want that type of car. They could go buy a Honda Civic for all I care. But they want that car. That's my point. These women want these older men. Anyone with eyes can see when someone is drastically older than them. But they keep participating. No agenda, I just think we never focus on this point. It's always about the men (or in this case, the car salesmen)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:16 PM

"Everyone blames high interest, buy-here pay-here lots for indebting young men who want chargers, but frankly the young men keep buying them". This example is easy to work with. By now it's a meme that young men join the army and buy a Charger or Camaro. They should be aware unless they're living under a rock. Just like it's a meme that Leo drops women as soon as they turn 25. By now, women should know this. And you don't even need prior history to know when someone's old as crap.

This thread is actually meant to remove grooming from the equation as that's just one unfortunate aspect and tends to stifle the conversation into one talking point. What are the motivations for the women who AREN'T being groomed?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:04 PM
1

And that's what this thread is about. I want to laser focus on the agency of women and I want women to answer to this specific point. Let's stop letting them hide behind these common and overly simplistic defenses. Let's crack this nut open.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 02:44 PM
1

In before "we're not denying young women's agency, we're calling out the creepy OLD MEN!" That's precisely the point of this thread though. Always the calling out, never considering once that women know what they're getting into, always that they are naive, easily manipulated and preyed upon or groomed. They don't think a man 18-25 would be aware of the situation he's in with a "MILF" aged 40 to 50 coming on to him? Let's be real.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 02:42 PM

I think the point is that it's statistically significant, maybe uncommon, but not rare to the point that we assume it's an insignificant amount. The amount is significant.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 02:36 PM

To expand on that, a fatal flaw of feminism is having one-sided conversations that are directed at men and don't include any direction for women. It's always "men shouldn't do this" and never "women shouldn't do this" like - shouldn't women EMPOWERMENT be to EMPOWER the women to not participate in what they see is a harmful relationship? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 02:20 PM
2

Wait - that's kind of my point. My point is, how is it that age gaps keep being talked about as manipulative and gross by women yet it's being kept up by women who keep participating. The main argument I anticipate hearing is that these women are young and naive or coerced, which may account for some, but I really don't feel it's fair to say that all women fall "victim" to an age gap relationship. By now, enough women should be aware of the same repeated tropes that women keep parroting about ol…

Women have not changed in this regard in the past 20 years No, I really think it has. Cause in the social media age, they don't really need to do anything. Set up a dating profile and get hundreds of matches. Post selfies all day on instagram and get hundreds of likes/DMs. They really only need to harvest attention, and it's making them even less dependent on sending out signals.

Men learning how to read flirting signals and approach is something men just need to suck up and learn. It will always be this way to some extent. IMO. What IS the signal tho? A girl standing next to you in a dance class? Sitting down at the bar by herself. These aren't signals, that's what OP is saying. It's gotten to the point where women aren't even sending signals out.

I don't use Tinder for local dates. I have more success in real life. I definitely use Tinder outside of my city though, it seems to be a lot better in other/major cities.

Boom. Thanks for enhancing my view. This is EXACTLY the kind of woman I'm referring to. They've seen the best approaches men have to offer. They have even maybe spent some time or gone on dates with those men. When they return back to Tinder or other apps, they're looking to one-up that experience. Taking that to its logical conclusion they'll never be satisfied, always one swipe away from the best option that they think they can get.

I didn't say most women, however given the nature of Tinder there's an abundance of Stacies on Tinder this could apply to.

My view has changed somewhat. You're obviously someone with discerning taste and intention. I am referring to the average Stacy who has high expectations and needs to be thrilled - the kind who might say "please don't be boring" or "wants to go on an adventure" in her bio. Her pleasure seeking personality is like that of a guy seeking pleasure in porn - the next best thing is always just out of their grasp so they keep on swiping.

And yet, the vast majority women are in committed relationships, even among the 18-29 age group. Citation needed.

Lmao fr. Women become girlbosses then try to dictate terms. Traditional women can be found in abundance elsewhere

I've never been there, but from what I can gather Manila is more Americanized.

It doesn't have to be predatory. It can and often will be, but just because somebody is poorer than you doesn't mean they can't be your soul mate. That's just silly.

And this is a bad thing because?

I think the huge point is that alllll of these women are supposed to think that men are creeps for age gap relationships, yet there is still a new age gap relationship being created every day. Clearly SOME women aren't getting the message that it's supposed to be creepy. Might want to talk to some of your sisters who keep dating the older men. Also when they paint every age gap relationship as the man manipulating a woman, they definitely strip women of their agency and basically are saying that…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
