My point is that equating sex to life and death is a stupid thing to do in the first place. Is your only goal on this planet to survive? Fuckin, no. You want to be happy and healthy. Sex is a requirement for a lot of people to be happy and healthy, and that should honestly end the conversation right there. Saying 'you'll live' is just talking down to people who are struggling with it.

The whole 'sex isnt a need' thing is the dumbest, most pedantic take ever. A human can live their entire life eating nothing but soggy kidney beans, but do you think there's any merit to saying you dont need a variety of foods to survive? Doesnt help that most people who say sex isnt a need are women and dont have to deal with testosterone.
