Not outside of the scope of your post at all. I was specifically critiquing something you said. In your post.

"Chad would lose social capital and sexual options if he stopped sleeping with women; frat guys get looked down upon when they have a long term girlfriend and fall out of the N-count race." You've got to be kidding, right? I might be willing to concede I will give a guy who has an unusually hot long-term girlfriend a second glance-- that does increase his appeal in my book. He must have desirable characteristics to keep such an attractive woman content. But frat guys who "fall out of the n-count…

Do you think men with high Ns shouldn't marry?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/17 04:18 PM

I get that. I have some good male friends like that, so no disrespect. But I don't want a life partner who puts such a low value on what sex means to them that they "spear hogs."

I literally know one guy with an N over 30. I don't know where all these people are coming from.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/17 04:00 PM

Interesting. This is precisely why I would never date a man with an N over 30. I want someone as selective as I am.

Honestly, though, the only Red Pill men who are going to call you a slut with that record are 22: very young, immature men with zero life experience (at least, that's what I tell myself). But yeah, I do relate. I have friends that have slept with a ton of people and I don't judge them-- it's there life. But when it comes to partnering, I want someone like me.

Just my opinion as a female athlete. I'm sure you are telling all the guys on here that think the healthy and muscular body of #3 "looks like a man" how shitty they are too. I just like what female athletes look like and it's pretty easy to have thighs with visible definition if you squat.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/17 05:28 PM

I get that. Some people don't have the genetics to look like Camille and it's great you are taking care of yourself. But most people that look like #2 are cardio bunnies that just diet. I know because I train them.

Obviously, it depends on what sort of look you like. But I think she's beautiful. Plus, she has the most adorable little French accent. My girl crush.

3: I give you Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, ladies and gentleman. As a fitness buff myself, I think she's a goddess. She can pick 300 lbs up off the floor whereas #2 can just complain about the number of calories in her salad.

It IS super easy for a woman to get laid... I ended up with numbers like that by turning down 95% of men who wanted to fuck me. :) I guess that's why I do consider a man's n-count to some degree-- I'm hunting for someone who is ethically like me, and doesn't just have sex with anyone who asks.

Too "clean cut." No facial hair, no chest hair, looks like a pretty boy. Many women don't like that look. The one you just posted is also too thin and too clean. So check out the other thread that a woman made where she posted this guy as one of the options and every woman in the thread went nuts. No visible abs (not too lean or thin) but athletic looking. Kinda rough and hard looking, not too pretty.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/17 08:42 PM
3

Okay, we are exactly the same age (note the 79 in my name). And no offense, man, but I haven't even slept with a quarter of that many people. And it's not because I'm ugly, religious, or introverted. Would you think that is a normal number for a woman in her thirties?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/17 08:22 PM
1

That's much better (what you just posted). I like this guy a lot. The reason I don't like guy #1 in the original post is that he's too clean, too lean, and looking like he skips leg day.

One person a year is pretty good. Ideally, I'm looking for a guy who engages in long term relationships. So if he's got a girlfriend for two or three years, then maybe has a couple of short flings, and then gets another girlfriend... gonna work out to around one person a year.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/17 08:13 PM

Yeah, that's gross, dude. Unless you're 50.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/17 08:12 PM

His body (#3) is hideous to me. As a woman, he's WAY too thin.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/17 08:06 PM

This is such a tiresome argument. If I say I feel one way or another, aren't I opening myself up to being Reddit creeped on and having my physical appearance evaluated? And if I say, "I think men care too much about physical appearance," it seems likely you'll conclude I'm homely. And if I say the opposite, you'll conclude I'm hot. It's a no-win argument.

Here's the problem with that study, which I have seen many, many times before: the media. I read the actual study; whereas you just read the media report. Things get twisted in the popular press because headlines like "When Are Women Into Casual Sex?" sell. What that study actually says if you read it is that SOMETIMES, under very specific circumstances, women are interested in casual sex. If they are approached for causal sex by someone that they believe is very, very good in bed, is a movie st…

THANK YOU. I've tried to explain this to about five twenty-year-old males on this sub now. To be fair, if you had asked me at 20, I would have never believed I would have these types of opportunities in my thirties. When you're 20, "the wall" seems like a reasonable expectation. It's only when you get there and beyond, that, provided you've taken care of yourself, you realize that there is no such thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 03:55 PM
1

Don't be stupid... at least do your reading before you argue. Study after study has shown women are dramatically less interested in casual sex than men. Find me one study that says otherwise. There are a few women out there that really want NSA sex, but contrary to what RP tells you, actual science confirms they are not vast in number.

Sure. I found a website that takes gift certificates for pay for porn. Now I know what to do with all my shitty Applebees gift cards.

Because they are exploiting well-known social conventions to get what they want and mislead others. If a RP guy is making it perfectly clear that he's "spinning plates" and has no intention of settling into a LTR, then there is no problem. Everyone is on the same page and women who enjoy casual sex are free to participate. However, that seems to seldom be the case. The vast majority of women want relationships and assume (because it is normal social convention) that if all goes well on these dat…

That's the thing. It's 2016. Women are expected to do it all. I have to primp and also work 60 hours a week in a full-time career in scientific research. We are expected to look fuckable at all times but also support ourselves. As far as I'm concerned, I'm practically superwoman. The point is women are out there doing everything men do career-wise, and still spending twice as much time on personal appearance, because we are supposed to look hot while doing it. That's just the way it is, and I'm …

I wouldn't say I look perfect, but yes, three hours a day allows me to make the most of what I have within my genetic limitations. That said, I do not know any man who spends three hours a day on their appearance (with the exception of a couple of meatheads who are lifting for 2.5 hours and meal prepping for the rest). On top of basica working out, you do not have to get up in the morning, shave your entire body, flat-iron a whole head of hair, put on a face full of make up, co-ordinate a fancy …

I'm not actually having trouble with anything (thanks for the presumption). But between planning every bite that goes into my mouth, working out for an hour, and the endless grooming and primping, just looking good takes two to three hours out of every day. It's far from easy and I hate it when men just assume we all look this way effortlessly, because it must be SO easy to be a beautiful woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 12:53 AM
1

Oh, sure. Men will certainly cheat if someone throws themselves at them. But as you say, that's super rare. Imagine that every time you left the house, or went to a bar, people were throwing themselves at you. And even when you said no, or insisted you had a partner, they kept it up, sometimes touching you without your permission in a flirting way (I think the RPillers call it "escalating"). That's being a woman. It's amazing we aren't all cheats.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/16 11:51 PM

You've got to be fucking kidding. It's incredibly difficult to look good, especially for women. Where did you get the idea that looking good was easy? It's ridiculously time-consuming.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/16 10:55 PM
3

Exactly. I feel the same way about cheating. It's much harder for me to refrain from cheating than it is for my boyfriend... because men are pretty much constantly offering women sex (and sometimes pushing VERY hard for you to accept). Men have to go looking to cheat.

The point is, with practice, you can over-rule it. I don't find it surprising that you have female friends that you "see as people" and don't get nervous around. If you actually read my comments, that was my point. Many men don't get nervous around women. You don't get nervous around your female friends because you are seeing them as people. You get nervous around "cute girls" because you see them as people to have sex with. I never get nervous around anyone, including people I might date, becau…

Sigh. None of the dorky scientists I work with are Chads. Most of my male friends are not Chads. And yet somehow they manage it. Look, I know you wont believe me, but if you don't approach a women acting like you are just looking to fuck something (which most of you guys do), we don't treat you like that. It doesn't turn out well when guys are stuttering and staring at my tits. I can tell that they aren't interested in me as a person and I tell them to leave me the fuck alone. But it has nothing…

I love your arguement: 1) I am all about logic and science! 2) I have no science to show you. 3) Let me change the subject. Pretty funny...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 06:29 PM
2

Of course, it's possible. All my best friends are men. Almost all my colleagues are men. I exclusively spend time with men in my life. None of their brains stop functioning when I talk to them. Just because you have a biological tendency, doesn't mean something can't be over-ruled. That's stupid.

That's actually a pretty interesting study, but it just proves my point. I went and looked up the abstract for the original study. They met a nice women (or were told of her-- there were two studies) and, being jerks, couldn't think of her as just a person. They just saw her as a hole with a vagina. And because they saw her as holding access to sex (instead of a person), they were distracted by sex and performed less well cognitively. Women don't have this problem. We meet men and see them as pe…

Data, please? In all honesty, I'd love to see this proved in a study that post-dates the year 2000. Most of the research I've read on this dates to the 1950s. Women had to pick wealthier men, as they had no career prospects of their own. More recent studies have shown that preferences for rich men are decreasing and decreasing over time, as the average woman becomes more financially independent. (I have citations for this, if you actually want them and will read them.)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 06:08 PM

I would LOVE to see that study. And men have something that women want. We are the gate holders of sex. You are the gate holders of relationships.

This applies to every college educated career woman I've ever met. Women who make their own money aren't gold diggers.

I never said I believe in the romantic ideal. In fact, I firmly said I (and most women I don't) firmly do not. But I still believe in love. There is a difference. And the sexual market is made up of people. If all the women on here say one thing, but you keep believed cherry picked RP "science," that's not founded in logic at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 05:43 PM
3

How is it any different for women? I've never been frightened by a man in my life. That's because they are people first, men second. Their "genetic makeup is our Achilles heel" is a statement unsubstantiated by science or anything else.

I'm a scientist. I don't know a single woman who care how much money a man makes. They want smart and cute. Hypergamy may be real. But I have never, ever seen it. I have a full time job in research and date a guy who works part time at a grocery store.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 04:47 PM

Here's the problem-- if you're going to deny that men don't just care predominantly about looks (they actually do, and while a tiny minority may actually prefer elderly women and obese women, most do not), I'm going to tell you that women DO love men for the romantic ideal. I do. The other reason I think the original post is stupid is because I actually know plenty of women who don't care about what a men DOES. But here is where the convo devolves as it's your experiences against mine. I'm someo…

This is a huge Redpill misunderstanding. Many of us have boyfriends who don't have careers or make a ton of money. But we can tell you that over and over, and you'll just keep insisting "women want men with resources."
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 04:11 PM

Sorry, dude. I don't know a single grown woman who doesn't understand that the pretty girls get all the boys. We've known that for a very long time. The fact that some read romance novels to escape that knowledge is only analogous to men reading sci-fi. We would rather live in a world where that isn't true. And I'm solidly blue pill. This isn't a blue vs red issue.

No, I have definitely known which of my partners was prone to cheat and which weren't. It doesn't just come out of nowhere. Not if you pay any attention to their personalities.

Oh, man. That should discredit him right away. I didn't read it, but did the story start "I took some ecstasy and a BUNCH of Viagra?" Because if it didn't, he's totally lying. Anyone who has ever done that drug and tried to fool around knows that 9 times out of 10, you just snuggle and make-out because shit doesn't work so well.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/16 03:40 PM

With all due respect, again, I feel like it's a silly revelation. The female equivalent is the way I believed up until puberty that true love was loving you for what is inside, that girls had to be kind and smart and generous. And then realizing in junior high that only pretty girls deserved love. That all the cartoons where men fall for women's virtues are moralistic propaganda. But here is the thing-- as a woman, we don't believe those lies for very long. The idea that a man could be a full gr…

I have totally allowed my boyfriend to go swimming without me. In fact, until you just mentioned it, it never even occurred to me that I should have been jealous and tried to stop a full-grown man from going swimming. My point is this: Cheaters are going to cheat. If they really want to, they will find a way. How are YOU going to live your life? Restraining your mate every time she turns around?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/16 12:01 AM

I strongly disagree, for the reasons you just named. Sexual anecdotes are less reliable from men because of the fact that they are applauded for them. They frequently inflate their Ns and make up things that didn't happen in order to get respect. Which is exactly what I have been trying to say about one anon stripper on the internet-- if you look at the comments in reaction to him "sleeping with brides," all the other guys are telling him he's a god. He has every reason to lie. I, on the other h…

Sure, I guess. But I try super hard NOT to complain. We shouldn't applaud others for complaining, I suppose. Or pretend that whining about life's realities is real love.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 11:55 PM
2

I got your point. I guess I didn't make mine clear. My boyfriend isn't threatened by the stripper. And if you are REALLY not threatened by the stripper, know in your heart, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is nothing to be threatened by, then there isn't much difference between your girl laughing a a strip show or a comedian. For the record, I have never organized an event with a male stripper. The ones I've been to have not been super fun. But if my boyfriend tried to stop me from going t…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:47 PM

And I'm saying I'm not responding to you anymore because you are either really slow, or being willingly dense and I'm not sure which. The point was clear. Humans do aberrant sexual things at a very low rate. If something happens extraordinarily rarely, there really isn't a point in getting your panties in a bunch over it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:30 PM
2

That I would need actual data (survey information collected in a controlled, blind setting) to determine. What I can tell you is that in six bachelorette parties (five with strippers), nothing more than light, goofy touching has ever happened.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:28 PM
3

Because for me (and thank god, my partners) there isn't a difference. They know I'm not going to cheat and that it's all in good fun. I know the same about them. So I let my man go to strip clubs if he wants and he lets me go where ever I please. I also go to comedy clubs. Why not do both?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:26 PM
2

Of course it does! Human beings fuck corpses occasionally! There isn't a single sexual behavior that the human animal doesn't occasionally do. But it's rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:20 PM
2

Ah. Well, the comment above mine did. The one I was responding to. The one you didn't read when you said I was pulling stuff out of nowhere. I'm certain not every woman in the world would agree with me either. But all the one's I've ever met do. Sleeping with a total stranger the night before the marry the man you love is not a super common phenomenon.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:15 PM
2

Why would a woman want, specifically a male stripper at a bachelorette party? You asked. I answered. To laugh at him. Male strippers are funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:09 PM
2

Is English your first language? There seems to be a lot of basic statements that you don't understand. To many women, a man slinking around in a thong, shaking his butt and trying to get you to lick whipped cream off him, is silly not sexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 09:07 PM
3

Ha... ha... sorry. No. Neither side has "data" here. Just please don't use that word like you know what it means.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:44 PM

I don't think you understand what data is. The plural of anecdotes is not data.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:42 PM
3

At the few I have been at, we laughed hysterically at him. There is nothing more funny and silly looking then a naked man who thinks he's really sexy. Female ideas of what is sexy are not the same as male ones. This fundamental misunderstanding forms the root of why women are less responsive to "dick pics" than men are to the female equivalent.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:41 PM
4

Sigh. My point is this: On the one hand, you have one anonymous dude, making a claim on the internet that no one can validate, that earns him ton of "high fives," and that makes him look like a stud. This claim supports preconceived RP notions about marriage being a sham and women cheating at high rates. On the other hand, you have dozens of women, with nothing to prove, saying they have never heard or seen ANYTHING on this massive scale happening at bachelorette parties. Who do you think the me…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:22 PM
7

No, actually it wasn't (VERY small parties, we all left together). But my point is this-- there are going to be a lot of women on here saying this doesn't happen. But all the RP men are going to believe one guy bragging anonymously on the internet because that supports their own ideas about marriage and female sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:05 PM
2

Well, don't worry. If I actually saw a woman say that, I'd call her out as a shitty, shallow person too. :)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 07:57 PM
5

I love the way you guys believe everything on the internet, particularly if it supports your view. I've been to bachelorette parties with male strippers. This guy is lying about how many he's fucked or he is a bizarre exception.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 07:44 PM

What I said was that the particular post you wrote made you SOUND like a really terrible, shallow human. I don't know your life story, and frankly, it's irrelevant. But all you talked about in terms of your wants was her appearance (and that she treated you nice). Being overly fixated on appearance is the definition of shallow. What about her mind? Her personality? Her activities? I guess it's okay if you don't care about these things, but don't be surprised if someone calls you shallow. It's so…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 07:28 PM

YES. I've been thinking about writing a post about basic evolutionary biology, the conflict between the reproductive strategies of women and men, etc... but I figure the people receptive to that have already heard it, and those who haven't already heard it, don't want to hear the evolutionary rationale behind their motivations.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 06:53 PM
12

Yes, I agree both sides are shitty. Both sexes should be loved unconditionally without regard to how they look or the resources they bring... But that's a stupid fantasy. And the point isn't that both sides are shitty. The reason I don't like that original post is because I don't whine about it, and I don't complain about the work I have to do to get love. I just accept that life isn't fair, men aren't fair, women aren't fair, and then work to get what I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 06:33 PM
7

According to most of the men on here, that IS all I am loved for. A woman loving a man for being a "human doing" is no different than a man loving a woman for being beautiful and sexual. They are opposite sides of the same coin. At least, for males, they can do something about it-- they can DO more to get more love.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 06:26 PM
12

I don't WANT to be loved for those things. But I am not resentful of the fact that I am. If I've learned anything by reading around here, it's that I better keep my figure and fuck on command. Those seem like the most important things to men. It's reality. So while I would rather be loved for my mind, I'm not going to complain about what appears to be a simple fact. I'm going to put down that cookie, hit the gym, and buy some cute panties on the way home. My point is I would have no tolerance or…

I would work on being a better person first. I don't know how to say this without sounding harsh, so I'm just going to go for it-- you sound like a really terrible, shallow human. Remember that women like the one you describe have many, many options. And mostly, they are going to look for someone who sees them as more than a life-support system for a vagina.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 06:12 PM

Amen. It always blows my mind when men are like "I want a hot, young piece of ass to meet all my sexual needs. But they are all such gold-diggers." The complete lack of self awareness that makes that possible is crazy. Don't people realize that, particularly from a biological perspective, men who want a hot, young woman are no different from women who want a rich man?

Ugh. I hate this today, and I hated it when all my male friends started sending it to me when it was first posted. Here is what I hear when I read this: I want to be loved but I don't want to have to work hard to be a person deserving of love. A good portion of my life is devoted to trying to be an awesome person. Some of it I do for myself (awesome career in science, powerlifting athlete, coach), but a lot of it I do for men (constantly dieting, dressing up, putting on makeup, keeps a good hous…

I was obviously talking about strategy for RP males. They are always talking about having multiple short term partners. That's a lot of work for even a hot guy. A lot of bars, Tinder, paying for dinner, wooing. Just get one hot, horny girl and fuck her senseless. Smarter time investment.

Well, of course! If they are both equally smart, I'll take the hot guy. But I'll take the second guy over the first any day if the first guy is stupid. You are also totally ignoring the rest of the intelligence definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/16 11:32 PM

Yes. All the time. I've been very turned on by intellectual conversations about science. But isn't this a pointless thread? You can have a bunch of people like me saying that we get super turned on by a man who can speak fluently about science, and you won't believe it anyway. You seem to think intelligence is listing facts like a computer. Being able to list the periodic table is not intelligence.

That's one of the largest false dichotomies I've heard on here. I am one of those women who value intelligence very highly in a mate. However, you seem to be implying that if I value intelligence, that I must value it above ALL other characteristics. I really do date only intelligent men. But I'm not going to date the most intelligent man on earth... if he's too socially stunted to carry on a conversation or morbidly obese. When you are attracted to a particular characteristic, that doesn't mean…

1) That's probably true. But you've ventured pretty far from my original point. It might be possible for a 55-year-old, 200-pound women to get laid on Tinder by a desperate man. But that doesn't mean society doesn't see her sexuality as "gross." It also doesn't mean she is any less "desperate" because men want sex and women want relationships. And she's probably not getting a ton of relationship offers. 2) You're living in a really weird world if you think what you call "hood rats" don't get lai…

1) You can't compare the ability to get casual sex across relationships-- it's an unfair comparison because of differences between the sexes. Men want sex; women want relationships. Can ugly women get one night stands? Sure. Men will fuck them once, off Tinder, in secret. But they wont date them. 2) Not really. I know a lot of hot college guys with tons of student loans who get laid all the time. It's part of it. But not a big part for many women. I totally support my mate and am fine with that …

1) It doesn't matter who does it. It's beside the point. Most of these Incels, these low social value men we are talking about, have never had a women look at them directly and tell them they are disgusting either. But they know, same as chubby girls know how the world feels about their sexuality. They absorb it through the internet and novels and movies and TV. The precise WAY that you learn about how society views you doesn't matter. You learn anyway. 2) You are confusing low socioeconomic sta…

Meh. It seems to be about average, according to most studies. That said, a lot of those averages are pulled down by people who got married at 23, and therefore have low Ns. I'm single in my thirties, and I hang out with other single people in their thirties. If you are a pretty selective person, but have been single for that long, you might have one new sexual partner a year. That adds up to a fair number of people in my friend group.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/16 04:19 PM

1) I disagree with that entirely and strongly. A woman who is twenty pounds overweight is often shamed for her sexuality-- how dare she think she looks good in that mini-skirt? Whereas as fat, graying older man can have a totally hot wife and no one bats an eye. There is a very small range of women who are allowed to be openly sexual without criticism. 2) I agreed elsewhere in this thread that most women don't have to deal with their sexuality being threatening. However, wanting to outlaw "stree…

Me neither, actually, on a personal level. But you're blind if you don't think that society as a group thinks sexual behavior in those categories of people is either gross or humorous.

Huh. That's true... the sexuality of such men is both seen as disgusting, but also frightening. The sexuality of such women is disgusting, but usually forgotten and invisible. Interesting point.

Don't make this about men. The sexuality of ALL low SMV individuals is seen as disgusting. Try discussing sex as an obese, disabled, or elderly woman and then come back and tell me about it.

Just keep telling yourself that... let me know how it works out. Also, I'm 37. Ten girls is a low N. I know guys who have been with 50 to 100 women. And it's nasty.

There is actually very little correlation for most women. Lack of sex is one of the main things that causes male unhappiness in LTR. Many of the women was high drives and low Ns are involved in happy LTR. I have a low N because I've never slept with someone who left in under a year. But I have a high drive, so I bet the "total number of sexual encounters" is WAY higher than most. Low N doesn't equal lack of experience in women. Sometimes (although not always), it equals high mate quality because…

Hilarious. Here is what I've never understood. The very best plan if you have a high sex drive is to find some sort of longer term arrangement. How can you possibly fulfill your needs coming up with a bunch of new ONSs every month? Unless you just LOVE the game, that's so much work! Wouldn't you be better off in terms of sex getting one horny, high quality FWB than a bunch of lower value sluts? I have a very high sex drive and a low N. Because I have relationships. I know this is news, but when …

Again, why is he having a two month dry spell? And if he does (I can't say I've ever had a two month dry spell, so I don't know much about this), why can't he restrain himself? My point is that the most common reason for seeing prostitutes is an inability to get free sex on your own. Other reasons-- don't have an emotional attachment to sex, can't tolerate short periods of life without sex, views women as things-- are just as bad. I can't think of a single reason I would knowingly date a man who…

It's because he is desperate and indicating that he's not good enough to get laid for free. That definitely makes a man look bad, in my book.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/16 05:33 AM

Not really. A man with a high n-count has no standards. He's probably slept with a lot of low-quality women. I consider that a character flaw.

That's one of the things I've never totally understood about RedPill guys. Isn't trying to come up with a ton of girls a month sort of exhausting? If you have a high libido, how on earth can you get laid five times a week on a diet of ONS? Maybe you have some FWBs, but you still have to nurture those "friendships" or the girls won't bang you anymore. And keeping, say, four women happy (i.e. texting, flirting), even when commitment isn't on the table, is a lot of work. I guess that for high libid…

But you're confusing a couple of different things. They might be doing it for male ATTENTION-- ie. men complimenting them and buying them drinks makes them feel good. But they aren't doing it because they are looking for sex.

Here is the problem with averages: A small number of women can be having a lot of partners, and that throws the whole thing off. If you have five women where four of them have an n=4, all in relationships, and one of them has an n of 29, that works out to 9 per person. Most women have had "that" friend, the one with a WAY higher n than every one else. And frankly, she's often either not fucking from a particularly healthy place, looking for a boyfriend and being rejected a lot, or going through …

Actually, I bet how much you get hit on is about even across the board, regardless of how attractive you are. In my experience, women who are less attractive tend to get "show me you tits" sort of pick of lines. I've never gotten that stuff. More attractive women get "so how was your weekend?" and "what books are you reading?" as men try to get into your pants (and end up your boyfriend) without offending you.

Thanks for your clarification. I think I understand it pretty well, as I've been reading a lot. I guess my fundamental problem is the underlying premises of the model, which, because they are the basis of the whole philosophy, are impossible to argue with men. If you tell someone "not all women are the same-- I know lots of women who don't actually like overt masculinity so much," they simply say you're wrong, all women love that. It's actually an impossible model to debate, although I do apprec…

/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/16 05:46 AM

You're pretty funny... assuming you know absolutely anything about my status in life. The problem is the few definitions I have found are completely tautological. What is an alpha? Someone who has high social value. What is "high social value?" What you "bring to the table." Huh? Aren't all woman going to value different things? Not according to our totally tautological philosophy! I can't prove it, but all women are exactly the same and all value the same things.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/16 01:17 AM

I've looked. I can't seem to find a straight-up definition of terms. As far as I can tell, an alpha is just someone who gets laid more often than you do.

What the hell is a "man of value?" All these RP terms confuse me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/16 08:55 PM
2

Exactly. I don't entirely understand that. And further more, a lot of men aren't comfortable talking about everything under the sun with their male friends. I've had guy friends talk to me about their crippling depression or being molested by a teacher in grade school. I'm sure these RP dudes think real men just "walk that shit off" but in reality, there are plenty of things it is easier to talk about with an opposite sex partner or friend.

Not really in this argument, but brief note: you aren't alone in the "bisexual trying to on-line date" thing. One of my closest friends is a smoking hot, 25-year-old bisexual blond. Literally the sort of girl who can have any straight guy she wants. And she can't seem to meet women on-line to save her soul.

Hmm... perhaps not increasing, but holding steady is viable. Angelina Jolie is 41, and just as lovely as she's always been. Brad Pitt is 52 and I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers. I could list tons of other folks who stayed about the same for long periods of time.

The analogy makes zero sense. My logic is fine-- I disagree with your premise, which makes it a bad analogy. Person A has apples. Person B has no fruit at all. There are very few social/legal advantages that women have that men lack. We have biological advantages (can give birth, have more access to casual sex, things like that), but few social/legal ones.

I'm actually pretty interested in these sorts of things, so there is no need to be nasty. I'm happy to have my mind changed. Unfortunately... 1) You have no data on what I asked for data on. My original point is that if you take care of yourself, your options don't decrease much. I asked for either studies demonstrating the rates that hot, fit, successful thirty-somethings are left for younger women, or the studies demonstrating that women's romantic options decrease markedly at 30. I was pretty…

And the number of times that actually occurs...just anecdotal. Unless you are backing that statement up with data (studies demonstrating the rates that hot, fit, successful thirty-somethings are left for younger women). You don't have any data on that and neither do I. So alas, we are left with anecdotes only.

Man, I know this is a off-topic thread, but many, many congrats on your transformation! For women, too, I think weights are the fountain of youth. If you do cardio forever, things start sagging and drooping. Squatting heavy can put off those changes for a pretty long while.

I think that is in some ways true-- money is a proxy for other things. But that's partially why I believe the things I believe. I hang out with scientists and professors. So I know a lot of men who have drive, ambition, strength, power, high social status... and are making sixty grand a year.

Just curious-- don't you have to talk to them after you have sex with them? I've never had a ONS in my entire life, so I really don't know how this works. But my own threshold for idiocy is pretty low. I'm not sure I could handle having to make conversation with someone super dull, no matter what they looked like, but that might be a woman thing. Full disclosure: Not saying in any way all people in manual labor or at Wallmart are boring or stupid. And good wine is wonderful.

Sigh. Yeah, he's not going to work for me either. The opposite flip side of the Red Pill coin is all these Incel/MGTOW/ForeverAlone types, who also are angry that women won't sleep with them... but don't seem to think they should have to cultivate any characteristics of value in themselves to get sex. Not all, but some sound so entitled. Current boyfriend doesn't lift, but I bought him a gym membership this week. So we'll see where it goes...

I think that's basically true. Most research on what people want in mates have shown that women desire men with financial resources. But a cool study came out a few years back showing that women wanted men with resources far less now than they did in 1950. Why? Because they had more money of their own and didn't need support. I'm always surprised why men are willing to mate with hot chicks that work at Walmart, but that's just me. I would never tolerate a man without ambition... but that ambitio…

I actually live in the midwest, so I know this isn't true of ALL women in those areas. It's certainly not true of me or most of my friends (I'm a research scientist at a university-- definitely a career, not a job, financial stable, but not wealthy). But I've heard the same from other men I know. My only advice I guess would be that not all women are hung up on that, so look for ones that aren't gold diggers and have their own "thing" going on. They are out there.

Alas, I don't want kids. Think of me as a woman who basically follows all the rules you guys give to Red Pill men. Except I really like men as people and don't view them as interchangeable children. You're being sarcastic (pretty obvious that you are anti-feminist from your comment history), so I don't entirely understand what point you are trying to make. More propaganda. Most women don't give a flying fuck how much a man makes as long as he's not mooching off her. I spent my life developing a good career. One of the reasons that's awesome for me is that now I don't have to decide who I date based on a need to be financially supported.
