What's with all this fucking youtube linking what the hell I'm at work and on a mobile your comment is completely unintelligible downvote it to hell

Go back and read my lessons learned where I differentiate between not speaking to the cops and making their jobs easier. Try not to sound so ignorant when you reply to my comments.

Holy fuck. This is not looking good. My thoughts and prayers dude.

Damn. This is putting into words a lot of what I've been mulling over but couldn't quite articulate in my post. We can never know what happened in that hotel room, if it was my girl trying to save face in front of her friend or her friend convincing her she underwent a trauma that didn't happen. Either way, both possibilities are important things to consider.

They honestly asked me nothing related to the case after our first encounter. The guy asked me what I did, if I had any siblings, random shit like that. Copper also told me that no record would be made other than that I was in the station from x til y o clock. Exactly, I'm counting myself lucky and just getting out of this debacle at the first stop.

Fucking hell that's scary. To protect and serve, amirite?

Okay. If I were to go about it at some point, would you say I would be more successful filing a rape charge or a slander charge against her, given what I've told you of the events?

They took my phone and wallet and told me to wait, and that I could call a lawyer if I wanted, but I said I'd wait until I was formally charged to take that step. In the meantime I just shut up and waited for the verdict, and as it turns out I was let go.

Thanks. I already wear glasses so the latter may not work but other buttonhole cameras sound like a good investment.

Thanks for the advice, I might change the original post. Why do you say I shouldn't make their jobs easier?

I agree that part was one of the weakest areas of the post and I corrected it. She said "Why are you being so mean to me?" As in, why was I being mean by threatening to leave? Then, as I said, I went back and encountered no more resistance.

I think he was talking about the other song that was there that I admit was stupid and the point was hard to ascertain. I removed it since. Blue, on the other hand, is the greatest thing since sliced bread /s

A fucking slave for all I care if I'm being charged with rape. I don't want to take a chance on ruining my entire life just to stand up for my rights as a citizen.

Edited. "Why are you being so mean to me?"

You're right about the youtube thing. I edited it so that the links are still there but it can be read normally if you can't click on them. How would video work if I was in her apartment and not my own? That's a great point about the apology.

This is a great comment. Totally a proponent of social circle game, this is just a guide and lessons on what to do if you end up in a one night stand, which can just happen without you even trying.

Where would the hidden camera be if I was in her apartment? Are you talking about a phone app or something else?

I agree with coolwords. It would be a great service to men if a man stood up to that rape case, but I would be incredibly naive to do so and get absolutely by the media and the courts.

It really isn't that contradictory, the line about waiting for the roommate to come back is obviously a joke. Still, your bottom line is equally pertinent.

Thank you very much for this. I had no idea this even existed. I agree with stawek that the long dick of the law doesn't exactly swing both ways, but this is still a fantastic way to protect myself.

Cheers dude. What a fucking point about ancient societies, why that kind of system doesn't still exist today is beyond me.

Exactly what I was going to say. In any other circumstance, and if it wasn't midnight and we weren't drunk, it would have simply been LMR to either ignore or counter.

Never needed a lawyer because I was never formally questioned. My initial thought was that police had cross-referenced her and her friends stories and called bullshit, but apparently the chick dropped charges because to go through with the whole process would have been too traumatic for her. I gave my thoughts on this in another comment. To sue would be to open up a massive can of worms seeing as I haven't exactly been proven innocent.

Im going to rebut this, because if you believe my story is true, which it is, you are more likely to take home the important messages, which is what I want. I wanted to inject some humour into a very lengthy and otherwise depressing post. Sue me. The friend and the hookup were both aware of where I was staying, there was an event at the hotel that we were a part of and you tended to introduce yourself at these parties with your name and the floor you're staying on. My mate came up to the room fr…

That's so fucked up, man. Was your lawyer not able to do anything? It seems like you'd have a fair amount of evidence in your favour in that case.

Yep, exactly right about the lawyer.

I didn't get the argument of Neoreaction's original comment but now I do. You think that the rape cry was her original intention all along.. god damn.

It's a fairly common writing tool used on this sub-reddit which I employed here to keep a depressing and long post entertaining. I edited it so that it can be read and understood without clicking on the links, but they're still there for the people who appreciate the sense of humour.

I never had a lawyer in there with me, it never got to that point. I initially thought the police must have seen through her lies, but later I heard something about her not formally pressing charges because the process would traumatise her. Hahaha that's a classic story.

The charges were suddenly dropped because from what I could gather the woman said she would feel too traumatised to go through the process of a whole criminal trial. Alternatively, she alone knew I was innocent and the charade of going to the police station was enough to save her reputation.

Any man who simply has an original thought is rare. One of the most genuinely profound things I have read in as long as I can remember. Just.... wow.

4 is so clever that I would never use it. It'd go over the head of all these drunk bitches and they'd actually think I'd only had sex with 2 people.
