| 4 | Why does every post about rape have to be used as an example of how women are incapable of protecting themselves? Safety advice is not victim blame.Granted, rape shouldn't happen. I agree. I've dated girls who have been raped (one by her own brother), I've seen the damage it does. On the other hand, a point was brought up here on reddit as well where rape is sometimes used by a woman to justify having slept with someone they later regret when they have sobered up. I'm sure this number is much lower than actual rape cases but the redditor said something to the effect of: If a woman is responsible when she gets behind the wheel of a car after… | /r/MensRights | 13/09/11 09:39 PM |
| -1 | Woman talks about (among many other things) how she slapped and pushed her husband for wanting a divorce. Ladies of TwoX cheer her on and call him a pussy.I'm glad you focused on such an unimportant point. So him telling her to dress more sexy for him, nah, that's not being manipulative. But her doing... wait, what did she do that was manipulative? Here's my thing, I don't care which side in this is right or wrong. I get no prizes or trophies if one side is proven to be better than the either. But based on what we're told, what we know, I don't see her being manipulative. I'm not defending her, I'm just pointing out that there's no reason for mens… | /r/MensRights | 10/09/11 09:27 AM |

Ladies of TwoX cheer her on and call him a pussy."She's narcissistic" - I didn't get that vibe really. "manipulative" - Everyone is. She was no more manipulative than an average person "controlling" - didn't really get that either. in fact she went out and got a hot dress in hopes of making him happier. "emotionally and physically abusive" - two years of marriage, stress from med school coupled with the fact that she thought he was cheating (and given his quick exit and divorce may actually prove to be valid) and she slaps him once. then while… | /r/MensRights | 10/09/11 09:11 AM |
| 2 | Do foreign men deserve Russian women?"Over 16 years of life in the West working as a psychotherapist, I tried to help a vast number of people." So basically this person's observations stem from their work which only sees those people who are unhappy. Happy couples and individuals, those who are working just fine, don't need to see a therapist. And thus this person's perception is completely skewed. | /r/MensRights | 20/08/11 09:27 PM |
| 2 | Due process dead on campusHere's what I don't get... How is it there is not a law that basically sentences a false accuser to the sentence that the accused would have gotten if they had been found guilty? And not just in rape cases but in any type of case where false accusations are common. To be clear, I'm referring to people who knowingly lie with the intent of hurting the accused. | /r/MensRights | 21/07/11 06:23 PM |
