While I definitely do see the uptick in road rage, I don’t think it’s just a man thing. Generally my boyfriend drives way safer than I do (aside from the occasional heavy foot), and is always commenting on how I need to leave more space before getting over, get off the person in front of me’s ass, etc. Before my sisters car broke down, she was a far more aggressive driver than I even am, and a lot of our female friends are the same while our boyfriends sit in the passenger seats with their eyes …

That was what women did generations ago because it was women’s only choice, they weren’t given the option to work. Women HAD to rely on men. Now some men (and even some women, despite it being against their best interests) are trying to bring this back via things like “tradwives” or even the extremely politicized message of “everyone’s losing their family values, kids need a mom at home and a dad to pay the bills” Most women don’t want to find a man to rely on, because that puts their partner in…

I always laugh when I see this being said. When I started dating my boyfriend, i wasn’t in a great place but I had a nice car and was making decent money. He was living in a barn, with no income. He even asked me why I was with him one day, and I told him “Someone who makes me happy is worth a lot more to me than anything of monetary value. I’d rather be happy with nothing, than have everything else and be miserable.” We’ve come up a lot since then, but this shits just goofy to me.

There’s nothing like this for guys Man, you can go online and see guys talking about how the second a woman turns 30 she’s “useless” because she’s no longer “breedable”, which is both disgusting & misinformed. I just saw a post about a woman getting shamed by every man she went on a date with because one of the first things they all asked her was her body count, and it was a body count that if a man brought up another man would one up. There’s tons of men who only want a “trad wife” who will sub…

Do you think the results portion is going to say the opposite of what the summary did? Lol Since that one wasn’t good enough for you, here’s an entire study from 2021 that had the same results. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0250151

While I don’t explicitly go for short guys (I don’t explicitly go for anyone, I’ve been with guys shorter than me while I’m 5’2. This alone disproves your idea that women are a hive-mind NPC’s who are only interested in “top-tier” tall, rich men. No, they weren’t rich either. Oh, but no matter how many women tell you things like this you’ll just rationalize by telling us we’re “virtue signaling” or whatever else. Little hint here- decent women who like men for more than their looks don’t like me…

If you live in the US, almost every state has a good samaritans law, which means that when 911 is called because of an overdose the police can’t charge you for any drugs in the home (in some states it could be anything else, basically the goal of the bills were to stop people from not calling 911 in these situations out of fear of getting arrested) Call 911, after you’ve called 911 if you’re still anxious (which is understandable good samaritans law or not) have someone who’s not doing rescue br…

It is attractive to a lot of women, but I don’t think that’s the point of this post. I think the point was that people shouldn’t be being nice so they can get their dicks wet, and should just be being nice because it’s the right thing to do.

There’s been tonnns of posts about women upset that they saw their boyfriend scrolling through a bunch of thirst traps from women who look nothing like them, and when asked about it the guy says that he just wishes she looked more like them. I’m not saying this is an every man issue, or that it’s just a man issue, but it’s definitely an issue and a valid concern for people to have.

Chances are she’s actually enjoying it, but is insecure about something on her upper body (either tummy or tits usually) and doesn’t want it to be seen. If you think there’s a chance she may not be enjoying herself and just doing it because she feels like it’s a “duty” she has to fulfill, you should probably check in and make sure everything’s okay. Having sex not because you’re turned on, but because you feel like you have to not only hurts, but can make you feel gross, used, depressed, and a w…

One of the most common reasons for me not wanting to have sex with my partner is when I’m just not feeling good about myself. Either I haven’t been able to shower, or I’m just kinda depressed and feel both mentally and physically gross. I can’t think of a single time I’ve not wanted to sleep with him because of him, it’s always either I’m in pain right now, or don’t feel good about myself- both of which make me unable to get in the mood.

This is the goofiest out for not pleasuring your partner I’ve ever seen. the “pleasure” of sex should be mutual That’s literally my entire point. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to have sex, most people want to have sex. It’s even okay to want just a sexual relationship with nothing else. What is wrong though is only wanting sex from someone and not being clear about that. Unfortunately a lot of men (and I’m sure women too) do this, and a lot of people aren’t able to see the difference between “a lot” and “all” or “wanting sex” and what’s happening here. Also, a lot isn’t any specific number, nor does it mean most. 1% of men would stil…

You hit the nail on the head with the “it also depends on the context and in the guys approach” If I’m alone and some guy approaches me, gets way too close in my personal bubble, is hovering over me, being pushy, finding excuses to get around all my “no’s” then yeah, I’m just gonna be like “oh okay, sure here’s my number” and give him a fake number If I’m alone and a guy approaches me, stays at a reasonable distance (I’m really only talking like 2-3 feet here, so I don’t know why that’s hard for…

It may just be that my town is full of disgusting people, but considering I can talk to people from all over and we have similar stories I’m not so sure about that. I ended up quitting my first job at 16 because I had so many people stopping on the side of the road to harass me, ask me to marry them, pull up way to close to me while I was standing on the side of the road doing my job, do everything in their power to make me uncomfortable, etc. I’ve had things put in my drink multiple times. Eh, I think it’s more that they don’t want to accept the advice given. The advice I’ve given was stop getting so deep into the black & red pill shit, because it’ll drive any decent woman off. The thing is though that when women do tell them, the majority of the time we’re told we’re either wrong, lying, or trying to manipulate them. So many of these dudes would much rather listen to what another man who’s probably never been near a woman in his life tells him is the way to get women, than what a woman tells them is attractive to her and her group of friends. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so close to a point, while still missing it. We should be able to clearly say no when needed. Unfortunately far too often when we do, it leads to us being verbally or even physically assaulted. The most common response I get to telling someone I won’t sleep with them is being called a whore, and that’s on the calm side of things.

Just the first example to pop into my mind. A guy is telling a girl she’s pretty and needs to smile more. Rather than tell him its fucking rude to tell someone what facial expression they should make, which would probably lead to more of him trying to converse with her (asking why is it rude? Or worse following her when she tries to walk away because now he’s mad/his ego is bruised), she just smiles and says thanks, I hope you have a nice day and walks away. ETA: this same example could be used …

If someone is smiling awkwardly when they’re feeling awkward, but also when they’re nervously excited- take in the context clues. This isn’t mixed signals, this is the same expression meaning multiple things. Mixed signals is telling you they want to be with you one minute and then telling you they can’t stand you the next.

Maybe if you didn’t only approach women with the intention of having sex, and rather approached from a starting a friendship standpoint- they wouldn’t be so uncomfortable. I have no problem when men approach me and start a friendly conversation, but when I can tell a man is just trying to hit on me it makes me uncomfortable and I just want to get out of there. I think you’re confusing whatever you’re saying here with women being cautious about men who have no female friends. It does seem to be a thing to almost vet guys by whether they have platonic female friends, and how they treat those friends. If he’s spending little to no time around women, and hitting on women every time he is spending time with them- he’s probably only around me, just like he’s only around them, for sex. You clearly don’t look at how it’s used. You clearly don’t realize toxic masculinity is a term coined by a psychologist to describe ideals society has about what masculinity should be, and how these ideals contribute extensively to male suicide rates. That, and there’s a difference between what a word actually means and the way people use it. Every word known to man is incorrectly used by somebody, some more than others of course- but that doesn’t mean the actual meaning of any of them are chang…

My dude, she clearly says “the man that saves me is a friend of mine and he was watching from the balcony”. Her friend obviously was able to tell that creepy dude was making her uncomfortable and told creepy dude she was his niece. I do this same thing with random girls when I see dudes creeping them out often. Unfortunately creepy people have a tendency of not respecting people not wanting to talk to them, but adding the “im an authority figure for this person” will sometimes scare them away.

Yeah, there’s a lot of toxicity here. I just have seen a ton of toxic masculinity specifically, personally. I think it just kind of goes along with the whole red pill ideology. I just wish these dudes would go to therapy & work on themselves rather than blame an entire gender for being shallow, and then telling other men that an entire gender is so shallow that “none of us ordinary men will ever have sex” but I guess the latter is easier.

evil men can do far more evil than good men can do good Why is that? Good men could help just as many, if not more women than the evil men you mentioned harmed if they were to volunteer at a domestic violence/homeless shelter, or a nonprofit that helps victims of SA/DV. There’s so many ways to help a ton of women, not only by directly helping but by giving others hope- pretty much in the same but opposite way that the evil men you mentioned did.

Seriously. The number of people that are able to mask their toxicity is nowhere near as low as this commenter thinks. If it was, there wouldn’t be so many people saying “they turned into a completely different person after we got married” This is honestly my biggest fear when it comes to marriage. Someone can be the best person on the planet, then all of a sudden turn into a toxic, abusive piece of shit. The worst part about this is that it happens all the time.

Ordinary men are the ones who don’t scare me. In fact I have a lot of “ordinary” men in my life that I know wouldn’t hurt a fly, but if y’all saw them you’d say they’d never be able to get near a woman or all women would hate them. The ones in power, and the incels that are talking about how access to my body is a “basic human right” are the ones who scare me, and I think it’s pretty obvious why.

You all have the same belief that women are low emotional iq and can only be interested in men based on physical appearance (as if there isn’t an entire sexuality based only on personality) That is being similar. Yeah, yeah women have super powers, age old fairy tale. Nobody said anything about women having superpower. All I said was that you guys are really bad at hiding your misogyny, awkward of not. There are some people (both men and women) …

because most men don’t have anyone to communicate emotional needs or emotional anything really and traditionally had used a partner to do it. That’s why therapy exists. Women don’t inherently have people to communicate their needs to simply because they’re women.

I think when we think about this information, we also have to take into account the way the dating world is different for the younger generations. The norm is no longer approaching a random girl at the grocery store, but rather hitting her up online. Either one would be fine, but it’s really the way you go about it. I got with my boyfriend when he messaged me asking me out, but that was because he just respectfully asked if I wanted to go on a date with him & I was interested. On the other hand,…

I feel gross seeing anyone with someone half their age because not only have I been the young girl with a creepy guy twice my age manipulating and taking advantage of me, but now that I’m an adult I realize that there’s no way in hell would I even hang out with someone a few years younger than me- let alone sleep with someone half my age. I see people 10 years younger than me and see babies, and everyone I’ve talked to about this who isn’t dating someone half their age agrees. It’s one thing to …

No, that’s a similar group of people experiencing similar things. That’s still anecdotal. Broad studies include results from an extremely diverse group so that it can actually give a more realistic answer to what’s happening throughout the entire population. I took this out of my first comment because it felt mean to say, but it takes a special kind of woman to be able to hang around men who think they have no emotional iq and are only in any relationship (platonic or otherwise) for the other pe…

and that would be considered anecdotal experience my friend, which is why it’s important to get information from more broad studies. We can’t expect our friend group of ten to accurately represent the extremely diverse population of almost eight billion.

Also, we don’t think we’re unique for being attracted to a conventionally unattractive man. You do, because a good majority of the people here seem to think it’s impossible for a woman to be attracted to someone who’s not 6’11 with a 18 pack and a trillion dollars The only women I’ve met with preferences even remotely similar to that were women looking for sugar relationships, and the only one of those preferences that mattered was money, and both parties were well aware of the fact that that ma…

Have you guys ever considered that we’re all just people, and peoples taste in other people is very complex and can’t be narrowed down to a gender specific “woman only like tall man with big dick” statement? By that logic I could say that men only care about a hole to fuck (and I mean, the posts here definitely support that argument) but I’ve done enough research and actual interacting with the opposite gender to know that that’s not true. Maybe get your statistics from less biased sources (or s…

“When someone is unconventionally attractive, it means that they have multiple facial or other features that are outside the norm, yet they all somehow work together” That is quite literally the definition Where are y’all getting the definitions for the terms you’re using, or are you just making them up as you go?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
