You didn’t eff up. You left the minute he confessed he was a huge scrote. Honestly if it were me and I was head over heels with a man I thought was high value I might drag my feet on leaving. But you kept your head up and blocked and deleted. It may hurt now but trust me you’ll look back and be proud of how FAST you dropped that piece of 💩

A HVM would be an actual man and tell you straight up “I’m sorry, but I cannot contribute our relationship. I am happy to support you” and leave you be. He would never lay his hands on you after you’ve said no, especially knowing your triggers. Your not a failure OP, your significant other failed you. I know you love him, I loved my ex so much too; but after a certain time I had to finally choose MYSELF and go live the life I wanted; not the other way around. You are not a failure at all, you di…

My friend almost convinced me… especially since she mentioned hey it’s just an ego boost for you!! Hell no, I’m too emotionally fragile, i literally am close to finalizing a divorce; I refuse to look for love until I’m better, and even then who knows if I’ll even want a man!

Coming from experience, hell yes. Met his parents AT CHRISTMAS when we literally “started” dating in November; always made fun of my eating habits to his mom and made me look like a picky toddler. Ugh; also he always said he was the best at everything and that I’m so lucky to have him to help me out in life. If a guy ever says that to me again I would run, I later would get anxious and be like “no let me run this by ex since he knows more than me” hell no!

Yea my ex did the same thing, I got fired from my job and instead of comforting me he just yelled at me and told me to call around places and see how much I could sell my car for (since I had a loan). It wasn’t until four hours later he finally said ok here’s a hug. Ugh, never again!!! I completely agree with you on them tearing you down is so much worse. It makes you feel like YOU did something wrong when I’m reality they’re just being huge jerk offs!

Same here! Minus the HVM, I’m starting therapy after my break up. Physically I’ve been going hard working out every other day but it’s high time I focus on my mental health. I’m so nervous but excited to finally focus on myself and level up! Good luck on your journey ❤️

I completely agree, I’ve spent my whole life chasing after a love that will never be reciprocated back to me and honestly I deserve better. I deserve the love I give to other people. I’m finally going on a journey to dating myself and I’m freakin nervous going through life “alone” but I’m never really alone since I have my friends and family and that’s all anyone really needs. Plus I have myself! Lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
