You would almost definitely do so much better with a male therapist, there are some really good resources for finding a therapist that works for you that i can send you if you'd like. In the US, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A DOCTOR TO CARRY OUT CIRCUMCISION. You just need to be a religious official. I can provide you with some basic emotional regulation techniques, which can allow you to cultivate resiliency when dealing with 'material' issues you may be facing. Therapists are not legally allowed to 'tell people what to do', in regards to material problems. A lot of the time we want to, it is considered a huge breach of ethics to tell someone what choices to make. I wonder if in part it's because they are using men as shorthand for 'soldiers/fighters', i mean, the image of women and children huddled in a house is one of a completely non-violent target. Most militaries didn't allow women in for years, yet had conscription for men. 1	I just heard a professor named Kathleen Stock say that you are more likely to be suicidal if you're female So, there is some research (it was a meta-analysis and i can probably find it if you want) showing that women make more attempts because of vanity, essentially. Women feel icky about jumping off the big building/ shooting their brains out with a shotgun, and tend to go for less lethal attempts, like OD's, which are easy to mess up. 51	No way they blamed it on a MAN who cared enough to make a mammogram instead of the woman who did the procedure in a extremely painful way When i went for a cervical biopsy, the woman who was doing at it told me off for not wanting to watch the GIANT TV screen of my own cervix being cut with the biopsy tool.
