I think it's best if you just guessed what I mean, I don't want to be offensive. if you must have it, again my question is don't you think most women would find those same men, and how they looked/behaved sitting down across from you, sexy? (what I meant by calling them fuck boys.) But you can explain in your own words. sorry if the question is offensive.

this was a great answer. you answered all my questions and anything else I was wondering about - thank you.

1) the minute he sits down opposite me, there must be instant chemistry I'm curious why you call it sexual chemistry - don't you think every other girl would also find those guys and their behavior just as hot? What I mean is couldn't you also just call it "they have to be a fuck boy from the moment they sit down in front of me". Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, I'm genuinely trying to understand what you mean, and please correct me if I'm wrong or misunderstand.

can you talk about why you wouldn't want to have sex with someone if you're, as you state, climaxing from making out with them? I don't understand the distinction - wouldn't you want to have sex next/at that point?

I noticed that you were mocking sarcastically, and I'm saying it's your sarcasm that is not warranted: a non-sarcastic (serious) version of what you wrote (i.e. the same sentence but non-sarcastic), asking verbally for permission, is fine and I do it. Yes, I literally ask if I can kiss her. And later, I ask if I can put it in. After I've asked her to remove her own panties. (stone-cold sober.) if this isn't consent I don't know what is. if you think it makes her lead to say "is this okay?" then …

with a girl I met the same night at a club, I've asked if she minds if I kiss her later and she said okay. (I mean I asked with the words, "is it okay if I kiss you later".) Since she said yes, I kissed her later. If she had said no then I wouldn't have kissed her later. boohoo, so beta of me. I'm sure women will miss being swept off their feet when they're forced to live in a world where they have to meticulously consent to not getting accosted at any moment anywhere and having to be ultra care…

This is hilarious. Reddit's "seduction" community - where.... "couldn't think of anything to say without forcing it, and came within 1 minute of her fucking me" But chickened out and couldn't close...with....an escort..... (A synonym for a prostitute, though technically sex is off the clock.) Hahaha this is just hilarious, I'm sorry.

These could go either way. (Either they're real, or she's seeing someone else, which is none of your business and I think her lies are OK in this case - I think it's acceptable for her to make those three specific excuses even if she is seeing someone else and doesn't want to tell you - even though that is going rather far.) Anyway pretend they're real excuses - if she's taking the time to make excuses it's because you're important to her. Work with her, I say. After all, you haven't spent that …

what were those specific excuses? (if it wouldn't absolutely identify her personally.)

haha, thanks for the clarification. That's exactly what I was imagining! (Actually I didn't have anything in mind that could have triggered it.) thanks :)

no I was just making a joke! Even though in general there's no difference between "Hello, what's your name?" and "Hey are you in line?" -- i.e. all openers are "equal" as long as you get past it -- still, it absolutely shouldn't result in you having a bottle thrown at your head! You are serious fucking up if that happens :D :D

dude did you even read my comment -- I literally took back what you quoted within the same comment :-D (As you can see I didn't edit it.)

I'm curious, how did you open? There's no wrong way to open. From OP: "she ended up throwing a bottle at my head and getting dragged away by a bouncer" Okay, I take it back. OP, if this is your first time, let me tell you, that is not supposed to happen!!

Easy! Imagine if three years ago you were BALD, SHORT AND FAT. But through very hard work for THREE YEARS, you STOPPED BEING FAT. Wouldn't you be ecstatic? You'd have no trouble at all picking up girls! so just pretend that three years ago you were fat but through hard work have lost it all.

I'm the person who asked for this. The comment I asked for it under was very well-formated, (by the same poster) but you know this is literally a request to him. I'm glad he took the time to type all this out. We can't expect him to take a ton of time to format it too. Due to my prior interest, I had absolutely zero problem reading this. (Several other people also didn't have a problem reading it.) Just read it carefully. It's worth it - this is great. which is why it got so many upvotes.

This is really good and I hereby request that you write Dating advice in the same format. Summarize everything. Obviously with the perspective that you had. I know it took you a long time to write the above, but it's really good! I'd love the same thing about a date. Thanks.

the issue I have is that he went too far and said it's literally a game -- it really isn't. Maybe to a thief it's a "literal" game about what he can get away with shoplifting, but it really isn't. He's just a tax on society instead of contributing something valuable. Anyway you saw it yourself: he reaches out to these women again, and they ignore him. So is his method really working out for him in the long term? Is this really what he's looking for?

well I disagreed with your whole take but I think it spawned an important debate. I think it is 100% appropriate content for this sub, even though I disagreed with your take. I think we can all do better. I think you can do better than a bunch of forgettable fucks, too. :) thanks for sharing, and sorry it got removed. :)

I guess that's why he removed it, huh? anyway in his comment he didn't say treat it like a game - he said it literally is a game. Actually it's not.

Actually it's not a game. They're people. Really "tough set" when a couple goes out and is kissing, but you interrupt them? Are you a psychopath? Why can't you just let them enjoy each other. And this - "This allows the girl to invest in your life without you having to invest in her which is great." While you shrilly fake-laugh with fake wings who aren't even your friends. This isn't a game. This is pathetic. You might have slept with more girls this month than all year - but can you remember a …

yeah. I thought of one more thing. there's an app, called "happn", which is geo-based and lets you match later with people you ran into throughout the day (obviously if they use happn too). perhaps give it a shot - it's somewhat popular (on average I'd guess one or two people at each gym might use it) but nowhere near as popular as regular dating apps. though the chances that any of the people you're talking about happen to be be active happn users is quite low TBH. But if they've ever asked the…

I personally don't hit on women at the gym. It's not that safe of a place for them, in the sense that they're going to be ogled constantly. We want to encourage more women to do strength training. And to wear workout clothes. They should feel like they're at home, same as for you. People should be left alone. That said, I've questioned this advice in the past, specifically because it's an obvious thing that you both have in common. Tinder might give you people who never go to the gym - but you'l…

There is another very direct effect. When you're nice, and normal with girls, and then leave them alone, and are not a try-hard, you've just become your own wing-man because (though this applies only if you're in the same club) the moment any of them dance around you or talk to you, other girls will notice the attention you're getting.

interesting and good advice! :)

Our approach is very different! I certainly DO make sure that girls are paying attention to me. maybe I should be more low-key about it. I hadn't thought of that. What I mean is that I'll actively draw attention to myself. such as stand on an empty dance floor and start dancing even when everyone else is just standing around, since I know I'll bring the party and everyone will be dancing in a minute around me. Especially girls. I am often surrounded by girls as a result. But part of that (I thin…

oh yeah I completely agree that: no matter if she meant it or not, you cannot lose by accusing her of touching you. Another interaction to get with a girl. in fact, even if not only she didn't mean it, if it didn't even happen (example: I thought a different girl did it than the one who did). Any excuse to start talking to someone is fine. What you say about this: You need to lose your fear of showing interest. Run after her, ask her what she thinks she's doing in a fun way. Pretty alpha ;) Are …

Okay! Now let's do a couple of variations. 1) suppose that I don't notice in time or she's literally like doing it while walking away or is too quick, so I see who it was but they're already out of my reach. Am I supposed to run after her and do the above? Running after anyone seems quite weak! Second variation: second suppose that it might have been accidental/incidental. In other words, though rarer, obviously a guy will touch another guy too just as they're walking through a crowded space, to…

This is absolutely obvious to me, but what do I do with this information? We are talking about someone who is literally at that moment walking away from you. so what do I do? (if anything.) I thought that there could be some kind of step 2 here.... (after step 1 is she shows you she's interested.) I mean I guess the ball's in my court, right? but what to do?

That's excellent advice. If a random guy gets in your face de-escalate the situation can you walk me through what this means exactly? Like, act apologetic, like, "oh sorry bro I didn't realize you were that into her?" and then just walk away or somethign? Or what does 'de-escalate' the situation mean to you exactly? By the way this is excellent advice. I never thought of asking a girl if she's single. (I assumed her actions would speak that.)

This is good advice and I didn't consider this. (Because in my scenario there's no question in the guy's mind about whether she's interested in him or not.) Could I ask how this changes under the scenario where, for example I did notice that they did anything like hold each other's hands or if she danced on him etc? What I mean is, would you advise that I can pretend that I didn't see that, and just kind of pretend to misinterpret? So here's our scenario: Hot girl is begging for my attention and…

I'm OP (I edited the above reply to draw attention to this.) So this actually makes a lot of sense to me!!! I think that I "sensed" that your advice was the best advice -- it's what I actually did in these situations in the past. If someone pointed me to go dance somewhere else I'd be like, whatever, I went and did it. After all there are more girls over there, they'll come and dance on me too. but I just thought that there might be some better way of handling this. I guess not! So in essence yo…

This is interesting! What if she wants to keep her options open? let's do a roleplay. So, I start dancing by myself exactly as I described at the top of this post. Next let's say a hot girl is starting to dance with me. Let's say I didn't move to her area, she moved into mine. Next let's say that a guy who was with her literally points to somewhere and says, "hey, go dance over there. Don't dance over here." Do you suggest that I literally ask her (like kind of 'reframing' what had just happened…

no, lots of girls. it's why I was interested in your advice. She's clearly very attracted and very into me so this is why I don't understand why I have to deal with the guy at all. can't I just treat it as though he didn't exist? After all she's an adult and can do whatever she wants? (Or if they're supposed to be exclusive then they should have that conversation at home, about her dancing with other guys, such as with me.) but if I take this approach then it is a question of what do I actually …

(EDIT: to draw attention to the fact that I'm OP.) If he asks you to back off just say you're sorry and oblige. this is precisely what this question was about. So in your opinion any guy can go to any other guy at any time and tell him to stop dancing with some girl, and he will go ahead and do it. What kind of patriarchy is this - any guy is automatically the keeper of any girl anywhere in the world, just by being next to them? What I mean is that I would have hoped your advice was "ignore him …
