You seriously wanna act like men don’t make derogatory music about women???? Oh dear, you sure are delulu 😂 and it’s a total misogynistic take to say that what she “promotes” is immoral and indecent. Stop trying to police what women do.

She’s not meant to be a role model. And calling someone you don’t know a horrible human is a bit much don’t ya think? The point of my comment was that men don’t face this kind of scrutiny or discourse but it’s always a female who faces this backlash for putting out similar content

I mean, plenty of men have used derogatory and sexist language against women in their songs. Does that upset you too? Or only when a woman does it?

I don’t see the show as anti-man at all and I know many people feel the same. Not sure why you think that. The show isn’t saying man = bad but highlights the negative impact social media can have on vulnerable minds. It’s possible that Jamie didn’t even search for the content he started watching. One moment that stood out was when the dad was talking about how the toxic videos came up when he was just looking for workouts on his phone. That’s how social media can poison young minds.

I actually feel like the show did a good job at highlighting how social media can negatively impact men. We see a young, vulnerable kid get influenced by things he sees online and we eventually learn that he has a lot of feelings of not being enough or being lonely. I think the show shed light on this very real reality men face. Sure, it’s not typical to just go and murder someone (the show is obviously an extreme case). But it does highlight the real feelings of loneliness and inadequacy men fe…

Because Katie is dead, we obviously don’t hear her side. But many who watched the show have pointed out that while her response to him asking her out was rude, he also likely didn’t just take it well and walk away. We can see how awful his temper is. It’s very likely that he said some very harsh things to her which lead her to make the insta comments. Neither of which is okay btw. But of course, she didn’t deserve to die

I’m not saying that and yes I’m aware that women are being forced to keep babies they don’t want. I was talking to the other commenter under the assumption that in a general sense, a woman should carry a baby she doesn’t want if the man wants it, even in legal states…

Pretty sure he’s talking about in general, even in places where abortion is legal. Plus, if a woman really wants an abortion, she’ll find a way to get it. Several women have already gone to other states to obtain abortions

LOL. Good luck with that. That will literally never happen. I don’t think you realize the toll pregnancy takes on women. It’s life changing and causes life long problems for women. It completely changes you. And let’s not even get into the PPD that women face after giving birth. Like, I get what you’re saying. But unfortunately, it’s just not fair to the woman to carry a child she doesn’t want. Maybe one day they will create an artificial womb so a woman isn’t doesn’t have to carry a baby and th…

You’re a fucking idiot. Don’t know who any of those women are on your profile so are they really celebrities? You’re a fucking hypocrite and the reason this sub gets looked down on. Thanks for posting about something thats literally not even a mens rights issue.

Having a baby is a two parent job but actually being pregnant and carrying it is one-parent job… so of course the woman gets the final say if the child is aborted or not

Look at OPs post history. He hates that women show of their bodies but is a consumer of it himself. OP is the reason mens rights is looked down upon. While mens rights are important, seeing a post like this will instantly turn people off. Aren’t their mods on this sub? This is the kind of post that should 100% be taken down. OP is truly an idiot.

Registered dietitian here! You do realize men and women come in all different shapes and sizes, right? Some men may not need as many calories as some women and vice versa so your argument is null. And anyway, there are food assistance programs available.

I mean, you’re also assuming that she didn’t calmly talk to him about it. Maybe she did. And he didn’t listen. He is obviously leaving out a lot of detail. Like the fact that he told her to lose weight after having a baby.

Lol it’s Reddit. No one is stalking the dude. People just looked at his profile. Chill tf out lol And yes, him telling her to lose weight is absolutely relevant. It’s safe to say that baby + his comments on her weight dont make her want to have sex with him. I understand her because I wouldn’t have sex with my partner if he was making me feel like shit about my appearance after I had a baby. All you do is defend him and say that she is selfish but don’t think to look at it from her POV. Having a…

Dude, you are making assumptions….. Im a woman. My boyfriend games. Actually, he games a lot lol. He doesn’t do much besides that. We are both homebodies. Sometimes I game with him. Most of the time, we might watch some TV together and then separate and do our own thing. Idk what experiences you have with women. But a lot of women are more simple than you think. Why don’t you talk to women who have similar interests as you? There are plenty of women who like to stay home and play video games (I assume that’s what you meant lol). Try talking to girls like that. If that’s what you want at least.

Well, given your yawn you probably won’t listen or try to have civil discussion…. But yes, try to make her think that you’re gonna cheat so you can get some instead of trying to have an open and honest conversation with her 🙄

Lol. If the roles were reversed, you’d go through her whole post history and dig up anything you can find to defend the man in the situation. And not sure if you’re purposefully being stupid, but you originally talked about her making him feel unwanted which is what I commented on. You also say she lacks accountability, empathy, and is a poor communicator. Please tell me how you know this. You can keep telling yourself that. And you can keep complaining about how women have “more rights” than men. All I see on here is men complaining about women or calling them bitches. But no one has even tried to make a change. And when I suggest doing some sort of rally or march or protest, men just say that no one will take them seriously or that they just can’t do that. Fetus isn’t a human
/r/MensRights20/07/22 05:21 PM

A fetus should be called a baby when it can be viable outside the womb. Which typically happens around 24 weeks. After that, abortion definitely shouldn’t be allowed unless medically necessary. I personally believe abortion should be allowed at least within the first trimester. That gives women enough to actually find out if they are pregnant and terminate. Anyway, majority of abortions occur within the first trimester anyway.

This guy is the reason people don’t take MRAs seriously and view MRA as a misogynistic group. Honestly, I understand you. But a lot of the men on here won’t understand you. I’m saying that this would’ve been good to communicate to her beforehand. Maybe even before they got pregnant. Especially if it is important to him. I don’t fault him for wanting to do one. But if she finds out he did it in secret, that may very well hurt their relationship. In contrast to what many of you believe, women can be reasonable and understanding. If my partner told me he wanted to do this, I’d understand, as long as he communicated it. Another commenter on here said he talked about th…

This list is not it and seems like a lot of context is missing. I’m sure some girls are like this but a lot of girls are not like this. How are you approaching these women? Are you being weird or creepy? Are you still trying after she has expressed disinterest?
/r/MensRights19/07/22 05:03 PM

It’s possible that that particular woman doesn’t like it. Doesn’t mean it’s the same with all women. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with simply saying hi. Just don’t push it if she seems uninterested. In my experience, a lot of guys still try after I’ve said I’m not interested which can be quite annoying.

I don’t fault you for wanting to get a test. But I’m concerned that you are keeping it a secret from your wife. You say yourself that you have no reason to distrust her. It’s your opinion that it’s a stupid decision. He’s probably making her feel bad so she turned to Reddit. And actually, he does have responsibility. Probably shouldn’t have made it seem like he wanted it then.
/r/MensRights09/07/22 03:18 AM

I understand very well. And as I said, he actually did want it and is now bailing. And you want her to get an abortion? A medical procedure she doesn’t want? That’s fucked up. He has responsibility. And next time, he should make better choices. But it is ultimately her decision to keep the baby. It sucks for him but that’s how it is. No need to put fault on her. Ultimately, he had a part to play in it as well. Now she actually wants the child. If she wants to keep it then she has every right to …

Hahahahaha funny you say that. You’re basically saying he holds no responsibility. The fact remains that she chose to have the baby. She gets that choice. Sucks that paper abortion isn’t a thing for him. But that’s just the reality of the situation. He will be careful next time he nuts in a girl.

Your comparisons are ridiculous. And it sucks he can’t get a paper abortion and I feel for him. Especially because it sounds like if paper abortion were legal, she’d be okay with it. But again, he had unprotected sex. It sucks for him but this is how it is. She shouldn’t give the baby up just because he doesn’t want it.

Lol okay. You’re saying in cruel and heartless when you’re the one trying to make her feel bad about keeping a baby that she obviously wants. If she gives it up or aborts up, imagine the mental torment she will go through. Sex has consequences. I’m pro-choice and pro-paper abortion. It’s her CHOICE to keep it. It’s sucks that he can’t get a paper abortion and I feel for him in that manner. But that’s just how it is. More people need to push for it to be a thing. Or at least push for men to finan…

They had unprotected sex. They both knew the risks. She wants to keep the baby and that’s her decision. Maybe he should use protection next time. You’re making her feel even more bad for no reason and trying to basically blame her and saying she fucking him over when he fucked himself over.

Girl, don’t listen to this dude. And don’t let people make you feel bad for keeping the baby. Follow your heart on this one. I’m glad you have a lot of support because you’ll need it especially if you’re going to school and working.

Wow, what the fuck is this? She doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to do. You are only looking at it from the lense of the man. What about her? She clearly wants the baby. If she wants the baby, then she should keep it. What is this? Stop trying to make her feel bad for having the baby. This is a ridiculous take.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 05:40 PM

Why would she give the baby up for adoption? She stated that she wants it and it doesn’t sound like she needs assistance and also has family/friend support

Because you aren’t the one carrying the child? That’s why you don’t get a way? It’s HER body and you don’t get to control what she does with it That’s why there needs to be something in place in terms of financial abortion

This. If it’s the first time, don’t make any rash decision. I understand you’re hurting and grieving. She’s also going through a lot between a new baby/sleep deprivation/possible PPD. How has she been acting lately after all this occurred?
/r/MensRights07/07/22 01:17 PM

I’m sorry this happened to you! Does she usually lack empathy and act like this? Or would she normally react better? It’s possible that pregnancy hormones are still affecting her and that she may have some sort of postpartum depression or even sleep deprivation from taking care of the baby. I totally understand your frustration. She shouldn’t be an asshole to you. I’m sorry your first Father’s Day was like that.

Hmm after looking at the site, it still appears that late term elective abortions make up a very small percentage. Majority of abortions occur within first trimester. I’m not for late term elective abortions. I do think a time limit should be imposed on abortions. But they should still be allowed, especially since majority are in the first few weeks. But preventing life saving care AFTER the baby is born is definitely not okay and is a whole other topic of conversation.

You’re a waste of space. I don’t call men stupid. I don’t think that. But that other commenter and you are indeed stupid. I asked for stats to back up abortions that occur at 6 months. I know that there is legislation behind it. And in that time frame, the fetus isn’t viable anyway. It isn’t until after 24 weeks that the fetus is viable. A fetus isn’t a human life. Why would I make my man do something he doesn’t want to do? No one should force a medical procedure on anyone And that’s a very ignorant response. You obviously don’t know how hard it is for a woman to get her tubes tied. Most providers don’t do it if she’s single or doesn’t have kids or if the partner doesn’t approve. It’s also invasive. And I want kids eventually. I’m guessing you’re the type of person who thinks a woman should wait til they are married? You think woman are just made to create…

What are you going on about? When did I say a woman shouldn’t get the man’s opinion?? All I said was that she doesn’t need him to sign off on it. That’s too much and excessive. Please tell me where I said a woman shouldn’t get a man’s opinion. And yes, abortion can cause medical issues including trauma. But it’s way worse with an unwanted pregnancy. And I can be on BC, have the guy wear a condom, take Plan B, have an IUD, be in a long term relationship with 1 partner, and STILL get pregnant. I c…

Sure. They are both equally responsible. But again, the woman is one the actually carrying the kid. Pregnancy can come with a lot of medical issues that last well after the baby is born. A woman shouldn’t have to carry a child she doesn’t want. She certainly doesn’t need a man’s approval to abort. I agree that there should be some sort of financial abortion for a man that ultimately did not want a kid but woman decides to go through with it. Are you saying that a woman needs a man’s approval bef…

I mean, I don’t disagree with him. But still not seeing why both parents would need to sign off on an abortion? If I get pregnant and want to abort, I should be able to without needing the man to sign off

I mean that I understand a man not wanting to pay CS for a baby he does not want. Which is also why I mentioned the fact that more people should be educated on paper abortion and people should hold protests/rallies/whatever for it to gain attention.

I understand the financial aspect for men and why men believe it is unfair to pay CS when they don’t want a child. I think that’s a tough situation. Not sure what the solution is or if paper abortion will ever be a thing. However, the original commenter said abortion should be signed off by both parents which is ridiculous and what I was responding to. The man doesn’t carry the baby, the woman does. He doesn’t get a choice in that. If a woman doesn’t want to carry, she shouldn’t have to. Men nee…

Women don’t need to care about what men in general want. You can find many kind, caring, and loving women already. Same thing can be said about men too. I don’t just look at someone to determine if they are healthy or not. I look at all aspects of their life from diet, exercise, stress, sleep, mental health, etc. I’ve worked with overweight people who eat healthy and exercise. For many people, certain medications, stress, chronic conditions, hormones make it hard to lose weight. It sucks, but th…

My apologies! I’m not sure how the word “ugly” got there. I didn’t notice until you pointed it out. I meant to type “why should women care what you want?” You’re acting like only women promote body positivity. It comes from both women AND men. And you can be healthy with normal labs and be overweight. I’m a Registered Dietitian and have seen it multiple times. And also, being skinny doesn’t equate to being healthy either. Body positivity just means loving yourself instead of constantly talking d…

Why should women care what you want? What makes you so special? Like, wtf?? And Feminism doesn’t say women are healthy at every size. But people in general want to promote body positivity. People want to see people on magazine covers who look like them. You can also be body positive while understanding that you can still work towards a healthy lifestyle. Edit:typo

I mean, you’re only 21. Most people at that age (both men and women) aren’t looking for something serious. When I was 21, most guys just wanted to fuck and nothing else. It was hard to find a good man who wanted to actually be in a relationship. But I eventually did find one and he’s incredible! At the same time, a lot of my female friends were the same. They didn’t want a serious relationship and just wanted to fuck around. Maybe focus on yourself and your long term goals. Someone will eventual…

If you are forced to be a parent, you pay CS for 18 years Women can literally die from pregnancy/giving birth. Not to mention all the changes that occur to their bodies + PPD. I understand men wanting to have “financial abortion” but saying that being a parent is worse than pregnancy is ridiculous and shows how ignorant you are.

I explained in my comment. My family name won’t be passed otherwise. His family name is already passed. And it’s ridiculous to say it’s virtue signaling. Like, why is it such a big deal to you?

That’s ridiculous. My partner will likely take my last name if we wed and so will our kids. That’s how my family name will pass down. He has brothers and already has a nephew with their family name. It’s crazy that you think this way.

Dude it’s 2022. Shit like this doesn’t matter. You don’t know his life or circumstances. Maybe he doesn’t want to keep his family name for his own personal reasons. Weird that you lost respect for him over something that doesn’t affect you.

I see what you’re trying to get at but realistically, that would never happen lol. I’m just saying in general, circumcision is common (though wrong) and typically gets done by parental consent.
/r/MensRights03/05/22 09:35 PM

Right… but OP is talking about how most OBGYNs are female and do the circumcision. But they would need parental consent first. So it’s the parents at fault. But yes I agree, it shouldn’t happen at birth. Let them grow up and make that choice on their own

They just like to put women down. It’s not even about mens rights at this point. They will take any chance to mock women and make generalizations. It’s quite sad because there are a lot of good and understanding topics on here. But then you have men acting like women can’t and don’t buy their own drinks or that women only go to clubs for validation which is absurd

Hey! I totally understand your POV. However a lot of movements for women were created by women for women. I agree that there should be support for men who suffer abuse from women. Do you know if there are any out there? If not, why haven’t men created them? It’s definitely fair to say that men don’t have enough support but they should also be creating and advocating for support on their own! And then rallying behind it. I’ll always support those groups for men. I also agree that there’s a stigma…

It’s case by case. I communicate things well with my partner. But I HATE having to say something multiple times which he knows. I guess at that point you can call it nagging. For example, we just moved into an apt and I’ve had to ask several times for him to pick up and organize his video game equipment. He doesn’t want me touching his stuff. You can definitely say that I was nagging at that point. But the other party needs to recognize when they are in the wrong as well. I think nagging CAN be …

It’s ridiculous. Abortion should be legal for sure. But at the same time, birth control and sex education needs to be provided more often. Teaching abstinence only is ridiculous. Teenagers don’t know what they are doing. You’ll see this a lot in low income areas. Also, teenagers with hyper religious parents are going to sneak around so they don’t get caught. And then they end up pregnant. We shouldn’t just be shouting abstinence on them. They need resources and more education so they know exactl…

Everyone knows how crazy FDS. It’s not a secret and I’m sure you’re aware as well. They aren’t credible and that’s the only source I’ve seen so far. Which doesn’t help your argument that woman are against the male pill.

Tbh, I don’t find FDS or anyone on that sub credible. They have extreme views which I don’t agree with at all. They truly seem to be anti-male. Any other sources?

What? You’re totally taking it in the wrong way. I’m not saying Jada is a good wife. I don’t think she is. But Will can’t just go and slap someone because he has his own issues in relation to his marriage. If their marriage is that bad, he needs to leave. She’s not a good wife and he deserves someone better than that. And if the roles were reversed, I’d say the same thing. I understand and relate to trauma one endures from an abusive relationship. But still doesn’t give anyone the right to physi…

Jada has absolutely no fault for what happened. I understand if he’s feeling a certain type of way in his marriage. I’ve read a lot of things ever since this happened and doesn’t seem like he’s happy. But she’s not forcing him to stay. He can leave. He even said at one point he wasn’t sure if they could survive. But he chooses to stay. And he chose to slap Chris. I think they both kinda suck but his choice to hit Chris was 100% on him no matter what’s going on in his relationship.

Small sacrifice? Are you serious?
/r/MensRights29/03/22 02:32 PM

He can leave if he’s unhappy in his marriage. I don’t know much about their relationship besides the fact that they have an open relationship. You’re putting blame on Jada for no reason. In this moment, Will lost control and used violence against Chris. That is NOT Jada’s fault. Everyone on this sub just likes to blame woman for everything. She didn’t tell Will to go up there an slap him. That’s 100% on him and he was wayyyyy wrong for doing that to Chris.
/r/MensRights29/03/22 02:06 PM

Will hit Chris Rock on his own accord. It’s not like Jada asked him too. She didn’t like the joke and rolled her eyes. She made it known that she didn’t care for the joke. It probably could’ve ended there. Will Smith took the situation in his own hands when he went up and slapped him. He didn’t need to do that. He frames it as wanting to protect his family but she didn’t need him to protect her. He totally should’ve just left it alone.

I’ve had the completely opposed experience. I haven’t met a single woman upset about this. My university was 95% women and this conversation was had amongst most groups several times. Same thing was said that having a male pill was a positive. I agree that it would decrease the amount of people trying to trap their men. But I’m sure there are a lot of crazy guys out there who would try to trap their girls as well. Both genders have people of this extreme.
/r/MensRights25/03/22 09:46 PM

I mean, just like some women can’t be trusted with the pill, some men can’t be either. It goes both ways. I haven’t seen anyone opposed to this pill. Actually, a lot of feminists are for it! And I think that’s great!

I have seen some decent guys on here who use logic and sense but not many. Unfortunately it’s a lot of hate towards women. It’s sad because I 100% believe in both men and women’s rights so it’s disheartening to see all the hate on here.

Most of the men on this sub cry that women don’t care for men’s rights when all they do is put down women and show negativity towards women’s rights. At this point, most of the men on this sub just want to bash women.

Nobody places blame solely on the man. It takes two to tango. But when it comes to being pregnant vs having an abortion, it is 100% my body my choice for women.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 04:02 PM

I understand your point. Are men not allowed to sign away their rights? But it’s a life changing situation for the woman as well. Abortion is hard to go through and some women, though pro-abortion, aren’t able to go through with it when the time comes. It is a situation created by BOTH parties so BOTH parties must deal with the consequences.

Yes, they are idiots in the world who do that. But it’s widely discouraged. No one says anything about “your body your choice” when it comes to drinking while pregnant. You’re acting like this happens all the time when it doesn’t.

This is pretty ridiculous. Whatever your opinion on Kim, Kanye is acting completely NUTS. No one is bashing him because he’s a man. People are worried for the safety of Kim, Pete, and their kids because of everything he is doing and posting. The guy clearly needs to get help. There’s no “anti-male bias” in the media. It has nothing to do with his gender. People are reacting to how he’s acting. Your male bias is causing you to saying unnecessarily cruel things about Kim while acting like Kanye is…
