Someone please tell her they're defacto and half of everything is already hers!

I'm so sorry. I can guess at his goal, misery loves company. You're an adult now, you can start exploring it. Best wishes sister xx.

My father, still to this day does this. As an adult, I disengage and leave, sometimes I'll give him attitude first. In my heart I know he truly believes he's never wrong and there's nothing I can do about it, but distance myself.

You focus on your school work. How are your grades doing?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/22 12:49 PM

Yes! All I want to ask OP is: HOW ARE YOUR GRADES?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/22 12:49 PM

Yes, that's also a very strong possibility. I guess I didn't include, along with simply taking it inconsistently and thinking they're covered because most are so disconnected from anything that relates to health; because they already lie so much, at this point I'd be more surprised if that didn't happen.

My entire life would be different. My father is a huge scrote with old-fashioned (LV) views on women. Growing up with this and mother who just didn't care, apathetic. I knew something was wrong and have been trying for years to change things. It's sown in pretty deep though so it'll take time.

Oh, no. I can't talk about it to a therapist, there's no way I'm giving details out to anyone else. After what the rapist did asking all those questions, I'm much more on alert for that kind of thing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/22 12:24 PM

Fanficcing? In what way? Like in general rape fantasies and stuff of the like? Yes, I cannot read that kind of stuff though, too traumatising. The worst was the scene in Wolf of Wallstreet. I was soooooooo uncomfortable and wanted to leave, legitimately squirming in my seat.

I feel torn. Yes, I absolutely 💯 % want those 'with testes' to experience what the pill does for women and ALL that comes with it. However, I also worry that it'll be another tool in their arsenal. To push for unprotected sex, knowing they won't end up creating a baby. To rape and pass on diseases without fear of pregnancy. To tell their wives their ready to try for a baby and take birth control behind their back.

I was a single mother (by choice, their father tried for 5yrs to get me back, but on his own terms), as such I have over the years sought to connect with other mothers. My heart aches and my blood boils when I read some of the wild things other mothers go through, put up with. I day dream about creating a safe place, so when people tell them "just leave", they can. Today it was a 20 something girl on reddit questioning her relationship because she's caught her scrote acts single on Twitter and s…

I wish they'd gotten up and just left. I wish Will had put a protective arm around Jada. I'm so, so sorry you've had such terrible experiences. Women need to be protected, women of colour even more so. Everything you pointed out about the burdens women carry and how it's exacerbated for women of colour are 100% spot on. My question is, now we are talking about it, what meaningful steps can we take from here? We've talked about it before, and nothing has changed.

I like the idea, teenage me loved the idea. It's a nice fantasy, but ultimately damaging. We all know women have the most to lose in relationships. The idea of soulmates is that another person completes you, but in the case of a woman, that also means becoming less.

Thank you for sharing. I didn't know the name of this, it's something I live with also. It can get in the way of having sex at all or sometimes during it'll flair up and crush my partner/kick him out. I'm glad you have grabbed life by both hands and not been bothered with LV men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/04/21 01:14 PM

Sadly this is very much a thing with some men, I dated one who saw women this way, I was in his Madonna category. You can guess where he'd put me in his mind for breaking up with him 🥱.

OML no. There are plenty of people out there having meaningless sex, men are willing to pay for it. What makes this woman think it'll fix a relationship?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/04/21 03:32 PM

1000% some of the best advice out. My father, bless him (no seriously the man needs it), taught both my sister and I that we are pretty and should focus on getting a good man. Only as an adult did I realise what horrible advice that was and the damage will never be totally undone, the time that was wasted is gone.

Very much bitter and jaded. I believe the sole purpose was to absolve himself of any possible wrong doing in his own mind, or perhaps mine, and demonstrate that he is capable of having a relationship he considers healthy. I've been no contact since I collected my things otherwise he'd know I moved on a month after the split. I'm having more in-depth discussions about the future after just 5 months than I ever did in 3 years.

LVX insisted I wasn't able to orgasm during sex with him because of my, irregular, use of my toy. I only had the toy because he was so selfish in bed and couldn't do the job. Still have the toy.

Truth! The thing is I did love this man. Little by little he disappointed me until I no longer loved him enough to stay when I was miserable, and he was so surprised how little I reacted to the break up.

Oh he did plenty wrong, me pointing it out was gaslighting him.

Definitely same. I pointed out to him the whole thing that kicked it off and brought it to the light was a recording of a model being harassed. Where my ex claims gaslighting was me discussing this with him later, a second time, and him claiming I was confused, the conversation was about someone else Jeffery Epstein which boggled my mind, that's so much worse!!! It's lovely to meet you and I'm glad you found out now rather than years down the track.

You are right on the money, it was a red flag to me when he'd tell lies here and there to make things more grand than they were. I shared this with my sister too who also pointed out him being twisted.

Yes, it makes me wonder, was he holding onto hope I'd come back and now he's found someone new he's decided to say goodbye? Because ewww 🤮.

I'll admit I was upset at first, the pure nastiness of it. Then I read the part about him finding someone new and realised what a steaming pile of garbage the whole thing is. I'm glad you got a laugh, I thought, you know who'd enjoy this? Reddit.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 07:28 AM

I hope you can forgive yourself, it is in no way your fault. He lied to you and pretended to be someone he's not, how were you to know? You made the best decisions you could with the information you had at the time and you're in a better place now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/21 07:25 AM

I'm sorry you had to put up with that, no matter how little we care, just receiving it is shit. It is pathetic. I'll admit, at first I read 2/3 of it and was upset about the how the nastiness of it. Given some time and thought I realised the intent, now I'm just sad I spent so long with such a clown.

Yes, can agree and confirm. I'd an ex who would tell me I'm an independent, modern woman. What that really meant was, I couldn't depend on him for anything, when I needed him, he wouldn't be able to come through.

That 'sex' scene in Wolf of Wall Street where she tells him no, he begs and pleads and she gives in telling him that's the last time. OMG that was awful, I wanted to leave the cinema, I was literally squirming in my seat. Should have been a red flag that my date wasn't bothered by my obvious discomfort. Edit: very reminiscent of my rape.

I dont know if its safe, but I've seen videos where women have asked men if they'd talk to their mother/sister that way or if they'd like a man to talk to their relatives like that. I've also seen one where woman told the guy she was looking for a dad for her several children and started aggressively asking for his number.

In the past I have given more blowjobs, to certain ex's, because I legitimately enjoy being orally stimulated. One line I draw is anal, I will not do it because I've seen too many prolapse, scrotes still tried for it because it was a boundary!! GTFO.

Well said!! I was long term dating a man who I suspected may have decided he was part of the MGTOW movement before meeting me and read up on PUA. He paid for everything still, just how he acted sometimes. When leaving him, his personality did a 180. It killed any feelings I'd had for him, & rather than being sad things ended, I'm reeling, wondering if I ever really knew him.

Mothers are doing it too sadly. My ex's, sometimes single, mum did it to her kids. Babied the oldest boy and the middle girl shouldered at lot of the household responsibility.

OML, I'm so sorry you've been through that. I hope you are well away from anyone like that now and safe. I've been raped too, I'm so sorry if this post is a trigger for you, many seemingly innocent things are for me.

You're totally right. I believe for young men, it doesn't even occur to them because of their conditioning from porn. I had an older partner who had all manner of bedroom toys to assist him, but he only ever used them before he came, never after. Stupid when he could have saved himself the money and used his God given gifts.

That's the thing though, they don't leave women alone, they just try to get sex without and strings attached. They lie more and get more manipulative.

Setting healthy boundaries and speaking up, treating them as equals, because I deserve respect too. The poor woman who did my position in the section I'm in would only get 15mins break when she was supposed to have an hour spread across three breaks. I managed their expectations before stepping into the role, I told them I cannot do that. I get all my breaks, he even asks her to cover me for my breaks, she now gets all her breaks as well. Just yesterday we had an issue with the other supervisor,…

Little different, I've been using some of the strategies here at work to deal with male bosses who clearly have zero respect for their employees. I'm not management but specially trained and hard to replace, so I cannot be ignored completely. I've definitely noticed more respect from one of those already, the other I have no hope for tbh. Leveling up in the workplace 💅. Thank you all, and for the invitation to this group 💝.

I read that, felt bad for her. Also felt bad the trap she's fallen into, she's given him everything hoping he'll give her what she wants in return. Little does she realise, LVM are like this, they're so selfish and they'll make it seem like a woman's fault they took advantage. They don't care. He's got what he wants and knows she won't leave, so he's not going to give her more, the fact he treats it like a joke is downright cruel. Our sisters need to be educated on standards.

The trash takes itself out- is my mantra as a single mum. If a male cannot see my value because I have kids, that's on him, I'm amazing. Yes! I dated a guy who, on the surface, was a hard worker and had his shit together. No, he was entitled and demanded things from his workplace, threatening to leave. He was dating me to replace a HVW who'd thrown his ass to the curb years ago, been searching for a replacement ever since. Was a pretty toxic relationship, one thing that made me feel better, was that after I tossed him aside, he'd still be him and keep being miserable because he didn't see himself as the problem.

I'm sorry you went through this, that's awful. I'm glad you came out of it stronger, you seem to have your head straight, like a true Queen. I have a question, 'mutual sexual aid' is genderless. So why does it have to be a woman? If we are dropping preferences and morals for the sake of equality, a man could fill the role, because "EqAuLiTy".

True! I've been the one on the receiving end. He came into a bit of money and wanted to show off, never asked him to spend a cent, money ran out and then it was all home dates. Knew I was out of his league and said so, I was like, ok I really am, bye.

Can confirm for my family. My father is not a good father at all, he grew up with little idea how to act appropriately and never bothered to learn as an adult because, well society told him he'd made it now, he's a man so what he says goes and if he thinks he's fine he is. My mother, love her to pieces, has massive issues of her own from abuse when she grew up. This for my sister and I translated into attachment issues. Surprise, we are both single mothers now, each with two boys. Trying to help…

OML yes! I told one OP to leave their gf so she can find some one better. (OP was more concerned that his gf had chlamydia than her statutory rape). Someone replied I was a moron and to ignore me! On another post some NVM was getting upset that his ex had moved on, with someone in their friend circle, and no one told him, holy cow did I get down voted for saying its none of his business, she's not his property. It's wild.

Thank you, I've been feeling lately maybe the issue is with me. I'm at an age where I'd like to be married and have been asked several times now, but I keep leaving them. I cannot imagine spending the rest of my life with the person they show me they truly are once they're comfortable.
