That's alimony. Child support is given to the primary caregiver no matter who makes more money.

The Nazis used to care for the Jews, too.

Why are you surprised? There's a whole political party that believes that if you can't afford health insurance, you should just die.

Observe, record, witness is fine. Distracting the officers by talking/yelling at them crosses the line.

Step out as requested. Put keys in pocket. Lock doors when you get out. Decline consent to search. Don't argue with the cop. Get it on record that you refused consent, fight it out in court, not on the side of the road.

Why is the only photo in the article of the sexual assault victim instead of the perp?

This is misleading. The couple were already divorced (and the settlement paid). He found out a few years later when he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and found out that he is infertile and couldn't have fathered children. He sued and won a 250,000 pound settlement from his ex.

I don't think you were, they were of similar age, all participants were willing and eager. Your regret stems more from the later betrayal than the sexual contact. I'd say you'd have the same feelings even without the sexual contact. Say if there had just been kissing.

It wouldn't have been rape even if there was penetration. He wasn't coerced into performing any acts. He voluntarily did everything asked. He regretted it later once the girls started spreading rumors about him, but that doesn't make the sex acts rape.

I'm sorry, but this isn't rape. You consented to the activity. You voluntarily performed the acts. You later regretted those acts because you felt manipulated after they spread lies about you. What you had was regretful sex, but it doesn't mean it was rape.

Because she was able to successfully convince the judge that she was a victim of her husband at the time. It wasn't until after she was sentenced that the courts found out how evil she was.

Less refers to a smaller amount of a single item or substance, i.e. "less water." Fewer refers to a smaller number of single items. i.e. "Fewer people." More is used for both. "more water, more people."

Thanks, I understand better now. And you're right, I'm sure these kids have been traumatized by the experience. There definitely should be some oversight to prevent unnecessary removals.

This has no context. Is there a new article, or at least a description of what's happening?

I think YOU'RE delusional. This man supported his GF and her daughter. Put the daughter through college and paid for a 40k wedding. In return he expected the would honor his commitment/sacrifice by acknowledging his part in the wedding, and inviting the 20 people he requested. A few days before the wedding he finds out that there's no mention of him anywhere, and that his 20 guests have been cut out of the wedding. I'd be a bit peeved too.

Read the article. He also had child porn on his computer. "Riley Sr pleaded guilty to six counts – possession of extreme pornographic images, encouraging his wife to have sexual intercourse with a dog, and possession of 57 indecent images of children in categories A, B and C"

He only spent 1 day in jail. His life did have a major setback, though. He lost his job, and has had difficulty paying bills. She should have gotten more than 35 days, imo.

I don't understand what this has to do with men's rights. She had a legitimate complaint. She should be allowed to breastfeed her child without harassment. I'd be pissed too if someone harassed my wife for breast feeding her child.

That one sentence was taken out of context. When read with the rest of the paragraph, it's not quite as inflammatory. Here's the paragraph in its entirety. "Whether schools should punish athletes who have been accused but not convicted—or in Winston’s case, even charged—is a hard call. But if athletes like Winston are getting a pass from the police and prosecutors, and from the university disciplinary system, then their continuing presence on the field starts to look like an enabling factor. Sur…

My response would have been a poster listing the names of female students and the caption "These women are potential prostitutes." After all, any woman secure in the fact that she doesn't exchange sex for wealth wouldn't be threatened by it.

I agree with her logic. I avoid the female equivalent, myself. Ignore this advice and you may end up with a person who sucks teh life out of you. And not in the good way.
