Those dance studios are like being high pressure sales pitches into a timeshare hell. Be REALLY ready to say no thanks and head out of there. Hope the intentions are good for the personal meetup, just go in with the bigger picture…

Definitely would not get married again. And my situation isn’t even that bad. Keep investing in yourself either way. Abundance mentality is key to success!

How do you feel about a male counselor for that kind of support? Maybe some one that’s been through this before and can relate to a similar situation/event?

Now is the best time to focus on self improvement and being an example for your son. Get fit, read, pursue a passion that you had on the back burner. Find your fire! It may seem insensitive, but you can’t fake attraction.

So many red flags from her statements. And maybe reevaluate your priorities for your relationship style for the future. Learn about attachment styles and effective communication. READ! LIFT/workout/stay healthy and be there for your kids...

Reasonably sure that song is in reference to the Statue of Liberty from the Canadian perspective... still applicable in this situation as well.

Good advice. I’ll add work on yourself and finding your passions separately from supporting your new role as a father. Have a life outside your current bubble will allow you some perspective. Find one night a week to meet up with some friends or join a ping pong league. Whatever your passion is, do it!

Not sure about your specific agreement. But you should argue to split the medical bills 50/50. Talk to your lawyer and see what the law says. Each state is weirdly different...

There has to be a reason you’ve considered this step in the first place. Did the factors that brought you there suddenly change? Do you have new information that changes the outcome? Then continue moving on and make your life awesome for you! No one is going to do it for you...

Perhaps look into marriedRedPill... the focus on self improvement and how to maintain frame could possibly help with your struggles. If you know deep down you’re the best version of yourself that you could possibly be and she still has a problem and isn’t investing in the relationship then the next step should be pretty clear... Focus on being an awesome person and an Awesome dad!

If you have a social relationship already. You’ll do better sticking to logistics in your message. The approach should be that you are inviting her along to this cool thing you are already doing anyway... no pressure no expectations

Sometimes women’s prerogative is to just get a comfortable fuck that they don’t have to perform or work for. Anxiety can be so high for them sometimes that it’s easier to jump on a dick that is “good enough.” Not mr right or Chad thundercock... but mr right now

slow clap well said. This is the hardest part of figuring out yourself. You have to spend time alone. You have to embrace the solidarity of being comfortable in your own space. If your environment sucks take steps to fix it. Get your ducks in a row. Clean your room, brush your teeth. Take the good parts of the advice your mom gave you growing up and put it into practice. Identify what makes you happy on a personal level and do more of it...

I statements vs you statements! Coupled with body language will unlock many mysteries. If you care to spend the mental resources in the first place. I very much subscribe to the reward positive behavior mentality. It has served me well in work life and home life

I would bet money on her "leaving for no reason" had a reason. It may not be aligned with loyalty or companionship or any of he other things men value in relationships... but she had a reason.

Stop making excuses not to talk to her directly... you've got two weeks to make a connection and then it won't matter anymore. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Do it NOW!

You make your own terms. If she doesn't want to respect your frame or boundaries then move on. It's a hard and expensive lesson to learn...

There's an algorithm to how you get matches. Try being invested in who you like and read their profiles! The shotgun approach isn't rewarded in this situation. Also, go meet people in real life. - NOW!!!

Body is Facing you directly during conversations, standing closer than normal, playing with hair (or other tactile distractions), finding reasons to be in the same place on several occasions. If she likes you, you'll occupy the same space without even noticing it.

Check into conversational hypnosis. Not for the creepy stuff YOU might be thinking, but for the psychology behind what makes people tick. You can really understand how to connect with someone if you know how they process information and move through the world...

Don't waste that energy, channel it! Clean the fuck out of your place and figure out what to do next. A quick jack off will diffuse the energy you need to go out and kick ass in the world!

A lot of it comes down to nonverbal communication(body language). Learn to read her reactions and talk in more detail about things that spark her interest! You're on the right track with self improvement, sometimes things you are passionate about can lead to more interesting conversations. Look to move past small talk and into that area where your passion lives. If there's some common ground there you'll have room to build some rapport...

Short version, be yourself and manage expectations. Tell her a possible scenario for the evening and beyond - and leave it open ended. If she's more invested in the outcome there's likely to be a better emotional bond created.
