| – | Old people have no understanding of how dating works todayI'm in my thirties and Tinder launched while I was in High School and I met my wife on it in College. Some things have changed but like online dating has been very common for at least a decade. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/07/26 10:31 PM |
| 2 | Why do women keep getting into situationships?Got it in one | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/26 03:48 PM |
| 3 | Why do women keep getting into situationships?Yessir | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/26 04:41 AM |
| 7 | Why do women keep getting into situationships?Personally I know many more dudes who want to be in real relationships but are in situationships. Think this is is for sure a mileage may vary situation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/07/26 04:08 AM |
| 2 | The reason why young people are having less sex is pretty straight forward. But nothing is stopping you. I’m literally sitting at a park right now waiting for my group of 15ish friends to show up. It’s not lack of third spaces it’s lack of drive or initiative to organize group hangs. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/06/26 08:22 PM |
| 7 | The reason why young people are having less sex is pretty straight forward.I always see this third space convo but like - I’m 32. What third space existed when I was in my teens that no longer exists? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/06/26 07:44 PM |
| 3 | Do you think that sexy women are "torturing" average and unattractive men?Yeah helping set up friends is common - I’ve just never heard of anyone setting up their siblings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/26 07:44 PM |
| 3 | Do you think that sexy women are "torturing" average and unattractive men?I’m baffled by this thought process. I have five brothers and I can’t imagine helping any of them dating. You must be much closer to your siblings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/26 07:37 PM |
| – | Hiw many first Dates do you think a avarage men has?Totally didn’t realize this was a question for women. My bad | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/05/26 06:31 PM |
| – | "Dating for men is so easy. You have to be normal" Is one of the most cringe and false statements of all timeI think being pedantic is a sure way to miss out on a lot of connections, dating, friendships or hell even business. No one likes the guy going “well actually” when everyone else is hamming it up. If I say I caught a fish that was a foot long are you going to come over and correct me and say it’s only 10 inches? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/02/26 04:05 PM |
| 2 | Would you marry a woman who would not take your last name?My wife and I are married and she’s never changed her name. I kinda forgot about it and I just don’t care. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/01/26 10:43 PM |
| 3 | Gen Z men shouldn't take dating advice from older generationsI just turned 30 so not Gen Z so you might just throw my experience in the trash but I grew up in a town of about 40k and it was awful for dating. I had the apps and all that but it wasn’t until I moved to a much bigger metro did things finally click. Small towns are depressing in many ways. It truly felt like if you didn’t get married at 18 you’d have to wait for people to get divorced in order to date anyone. Bigger towns no issue. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/26 12:25 AM |
| – | What particular thing do you think would make the dating world a lot easier if men understood better?I think your are in a bubble my guy, I’m a man and I personally know a ton of people who barely see their wives or girlfriends as anything then a servant. Then they wonder why they are divorced or single. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/11/25 01:22 AM |
| 1 | What are the main ways in which men are lacking these days which is causing them to stay perpetually single? It’s probably somewhere in the middle, having some social media is great so you can connect with people but being on it 24/7 is going to be bad for your mentals. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/11/25 10:29 PM |
| 4 | Why do you think women want to talk to men? There is bad/questionable advice for everyone of every race, gender, economic status, etc. The thing people on reddit and other social media platforms seem to forget is that every person is so very different. It's like everyone is submitting the same resume to 1,000 jobs and expecting to get a call back. You should be code switching with everyone. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/11/25 09:22 PM |
| 4 | What are the main ways in which men are lacking these days which is causing them to stay perpetually single? What are you doing when you are trying to date that will shame you forever? "Hey would you want to go out sometime" getting recorded and posted to TikTok is going to ruin your reputation? Also like.... You know smart phones have been around for a bit now. I had an iphone in High School and I'm 32. We recorded our promposals and posted them on social media everywhere. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/11/25 09:08 PM |
| 15 | What are the main ways in which men are lacking these days which is causing them to stay perpetually single?Might just be my bubble but those people are not having problems dating. The ones I know who are having trouble dating are the ones who are terminally online. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/11/25 09:01 PM |
| 1 | If straight men wear the same gym outfits as women in the gym. Most people would consider that predatory. At the gym I got I feel like I see people dick and ball outlines and man nipples about 2x as much as women’s. There are men wearing slutty little outfits and there are women wearing slutty little outfits. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/25 03:11 AM |
| 0 | "If she is interested she will show" show what exactlyI’m not debating anything but I’ve been spending a lot of time of this subreddit and the more I do the more it feels like everyone who posts on this sub was born in solitude and sat on the computer from 1-21 and now is trying to figure out how to communicate with people. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/25 05:24 PM |
| 4 | "If she is interested she will show" show what exactlyI uhhh think I know what your problem in dating is. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/25 05:22 PM |
| – | Where do you people find ugly guys ?There is probably something to be said about people who you see walking around are probably getting more exercise, more sun and probably care about their appearance just through osmosis. I feel like I need to put a stamp on this sub that just says “going outside for a while will solve a lot of these problems” | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 07:48 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal. That is happening. Maybe there is something else going on - but plenty of awkward dudes are going on dates. Personal experience is all we have and can feel like the whole world - but it isn’t the whole world. People everywhere are having different experiences. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 07:29 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal.Do you think Women are looking at a database of men and seeing all of their personality traits and picking one or the other? I think you aren’t getting to the date stage because of something you are saying or doing before hand which can or cannot be because of your autism. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 07:01 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal.Okay - but a lot of skills come to people naturally and some don’t. That’s why it’s important to build on those skills. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:54 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal.Know how to continue a conversation, know how to socialize without a goal, being able to hang without a large plan, balance friend groups and time | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:40 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal. But that second lifestyle isn't how you meet people to date. I'm largely introverted but have trained myself to leave the house join clubs or just be part of a community. It isn't easy most days but that's how you build up these skills. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:23 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal. What are we even talking about now. You seem to be proposing that Women should date autistic men out of pity but now we are talking about protests? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:21 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal. You aren't providing a why in any of your responses as far as I can tell. Harsh reality is that life isn't fair and you seem to be placing these fair rules on the world of dating. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:14 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal.Dating = Social. All going on dates are is talking and enjoying time together or socializing. So picking up social skills will help you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:10 PM |
| – | Expecting autistic men to mask and upgrade their entire lives, especially dating, while not even giving them a chance or ever trying to approach them is hypocritical and illiberal. For real - This seems to be something that OP is really missing here. Dating an autistic person - Hell anyone neurodiverse is difficult. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/25 06:09 PM |
| 1 | Males should be told to dress betterAnyone else picturing brother just super overdressed at every party <image> | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/08/25 11:14 PM |
| 7 | If You Were A Woman, How Would You Date?Honestly check and see if they are on this sub and if they are move on haha | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/08/25 06:20 PM |
| 6 | Most dating expectations were created by the internetYou aren't wrong that real life and internet are closer to be 1:1 - but these artificial rules you are putting on yourself you are getting from the internet. There is no artificial ban on approaching on public - have you tried? Sure you are going to fail - a lot but that has always been the case. The change now is that when you fail you can go on the internet and get reassured by anonymous people who don't actually care for you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/25 12:24 AM |
| 1 | Men and Women need to start settling for the average personI’m sure my wife and I are average to most people but I’ve never met someone who I’ve loved more. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/25 12:16 AM |
| 7 | Men and Women need to start settling for the average personNo - I joined this sub thinking there would be some good convos but 90% of these threads can be answered with “leave your house and you’ll see something else” It’s like this sub is buying every little gotcha out there. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/25 12:15 AM |
| – | Men: Can you honestly say most guys you know are attractive?Wow - Just sat here and went through my friend group Men and Woman. Everyone who I'd consider attractive is either married or in a committed relationship. The ones who are constantly looking are either extremely overweight, badly groomed or haven't tried to present themselves in a nice way since I've known them . For info - 31 years old, friend group very diverse between Church, College friends, and Theater/Comedy scene. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/25 09:22 PM |
| 3 | Are young men failing at dating because they aren't dedicating enough time and effort to it?🌎🧑🚀🔫 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/07/25 07:08 PM |
| 4 | Men are discouraged from approaching women they don’t know as well as discouraged from asking out women they do know.Acknowledging that this might just be my bias but whenever I see these comments from my guy friends its because they are approaching woman at the worse and weirdest times. Don't ask out the Cashier or Waitress who is working and can't leave the situation - That isn't going to work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/07/25 09:53 PM |
| 13 | Why are modern woman so keen on "vetting" a man?Dude your just making stuff up | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/25 04:53 PM |
| 5 | women don't like men dating within their social circlesYeah I should have just said people | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/01/25 11:50 PM |
| 4 | women don't like men dating within their social circlesWomen don't like men who jump into social circles with the only intent is to date. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/01/25 11:09 PM |
| 3 | The male loneliness epidemic is worse than you think. It’s been 10 years but I was an RA in 2013 and even back then we’d constantly have discussions about how hard it was to get men to do anything. Every club, event, or social gathering was no exaggeration 75% woman and 25% men. I had to basically drag these dudes out of their dorm rooms. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/01/25 07:21 PM |
