Totally agree. My grandmother is in a care home and I've overheard carers have to go and get someone of the opposite sex when a resident needs help. I'm sure some institutions have policy against male/female carers doing certain things with residents and many of them probably have a minimum number of each sex of staff so they don't overwork staff. Or I could be completely wrong, I don't choose to read carehome law on a saturday night.

Yeah, especially at the primary school level (up to 11 years old). I remember when I finished primary school there wasn't a single male teacher, teaching assistant or admin staff. I always felt this was the reason the boys would always be blamed whenever something happened, though a boy probably did do it.

For the future, put /s on it even if it's obviously sarcasm, can't always correctly infer tone with text.

We're green like that here aren't we. Can't let a good bit of obvious sexism that the world thinks isn't sexism go to waste.

I get where you're going with this but we must not stoop to their level. We must be better than that.

This is what I thinking while reading it. Feminists will take this and say women need to be in this areas more and men need to not make it a place where women don't want to go.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
