2	You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it means You're comparing specifying someones species to personal pronouns. If I want to specify someone as a woman I just tell the listener she's a woman. Also a fun fact: Usually in everyday conversation in Finland we refer to other people as "it" instead of "he/she". But it's not like I haven't had thoughts of being a woman and pondering if it would actually change anything other than my genitals (and possibly permanently losing or reducing my major source of enjoyment which is frightening) and society's general response to me...
