| 2 | You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it meansYou're comparing specifying someones species to personal pronouns. If I want to specify someone as a woman I just tell the listener she's a woman. Also a fun fact: Usually in everyday conversation in Finland we refer to other people as "it" instead of "he/she". Only if you want to sound very professional or official you use he/she. I guess we acknowledge human as animals or is it just quirk of a language? More at 11. | /r/MensRights | 30/10/13 01:49 PM |
| 1 | You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it meansWhat is cisgender? Some sex wiki says it's someone who's comfortable with their gender. But it's not like I haven't had thoughts of being a woman and pondering if it would actually change anything other than my genitals (and possibly permanently losing or reducing my major source of enjoyment which is frightening) and society's general response to me... No wait, isn't that what gender generally means, fuck I'm a idiot... No wait... wat. ELI5 please. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/13 10:46 PM |
