Your mother is not all women….

There is no “one size fits all” for every relationship. I’m very intelligent and competent and I don’t need to be “lead”. Relationships are about compromise and mutual respect imo. We are both adults.

Right…Women choose men based on way more criteria than just looks so to reduce it down to physical attraction is way too simplified. However, I do think men focus on looks alone a lot more than we do

Not necessarily true…at least not for women. Men might have more sex given the opportunity due to being “very attractive” but women of all levels of attractiveness have about the same ability to have sex with many partners if they chose, simply because there is an unending supply of men willing to have sex with no strings attached and few standards or requirements. (there is not an endless supply of women willing to do the same). As an attractive woman, I had the opportunity to have tons and ton…

Men get upset and consider women to be u reasonable when women have a height preference or wants someone similarly educated….but overweight, middle aged men having strict age and weight preferences for women is totally okay and reasonable lol

It never fails, whenever a beautiful woman speaks intelligently (filter or not), here come the mean girls to try to take her down a peg. As a woman or color, It’s not lost on me that the heavier criticism seems to be reserved for black women. I’m disappointed in these replies. (Just being honest)

I think it’s sad that anyone has to even overanalyze her looks or filter or whatever and even suggest that she might have had plastic surgery. Beautiful women of color do exist.

I agree with other posters who’ve mentioned contacting a national (as well as local ) news source and also getting the word out on social media...specifically Twitter where it can spread like wildfire. Nothing will change if they aren’t publicly shamed and pressured

BW here. My best advice is to be open to all men and vet them well. All races of men, including black men, can fetishize black women. That’s just the sad truth.

There has been no proof that a lot of the Proud Boys are married to black women, just the one guy who’s pics with his wife went viral. In fact, there were several black men who were in the crowds participating and one who was a leader. The guy who looks like Sammy Davis Jr lol. Also, Divesting is not synonymous with Swirling. Two different things. You can be married to a black man (a good one) and be divested. Divestment is about prioritizing yourself as a black woman and not centering any race …

I recently made this decision after years of wasting my time on these horrible apps filled with low value men. The final straw was when I read a news story about a woman who had been raped on a date from someone she met on Plenty of Fish. I was curious so I typed in POF Rapes and then Tinder Rapes and Match.com rapes.....and the results are shocking, multiple stories from all over the country of rapists who utilize these apps to find their prey. I just decided then and there that it’s not worth …

I agree. Men who want to set low expectations but still have access to you for sex and your emotional labor etc will try to maintain a connection but also lower your standards and expectations. When a man really likes you and wants a future with you, he will always want to see you happy and always make an effort. He will do his best to impress you. This is like Nature 101, even birds and insects understand this lol

Men are only less critical because they are willing to have sex with almost any woman. Women are not willing to have sex with almost any man because most men aren’t very good at it in the first place and 2- we have a lot more risk associated with dating and having sex (pregnancy risk, risk of being raped or abused or murdered, more likely to be ghosted after sex etc)

It’s multi-layered. You experience your first wake-up call as a teen girl...and every few years you grow wiser and realize that, yes, it truly is as bad as it is. I think around 25-35 is when you become truly, fully aware

If this isn’t the whole truth! I say this often re: men needing to be better men. The “choose better” argument is only one side of the equation...they never take accountability for men not making the decisions to be better men. It’s as if we just have to accept it. And I hate how daddy issues is yet another victim Blaming and shaming tactic. It’s exhausting

What a complete waste of space he is. What kind of boyfriend is quibbling over $10?!! This is why you never date broke men OR stingy men. They aren’t worthy your time. I bet he would have a problem with her denying him sex though or other things that he expects her to do smh

Yes I never feel sorry for homeless men because honestly they can always do physical labor jobs. If I do give money, it’s only to the women that I see. Men are so depraved that instead of seeing a woman on the street and helping her or simply leaving her alone, their first mind is to rape and abuse them and sometimes kill them. A lot of “prostitutes” Are actually just homeless women who have been taken advantage of by a man

IKR this needs to be normalized....the older the man is, the more I expect him to do to court me.

With as much sh*t as men give women about our ages, can I just say that I’m so happy that you called out this entitled loser lol. Men feel entitled to the youngest women and think that age doesn’t affect them and it’s high time they get a wake up call.

Omg what a colossal asshole. And good luck thinking he was going to get sex after only 2 weeks even lol. These losers are truly delusional

100% agree. We have to learn this early on...tbh this manipulative behavior starts early. Remember the boys pulling our ponytails? Snapping our bra straps? That’s the same sh*t just at younger ages.

Thank you. Men’s sperm quality and fertility both start declining around the same ages as women. The first occurs around ages 35-40. There are also some genetic and birth defects that are the fault of mutated, deteriorated old sperm such as schizophrenia, dwarfism, certain childhood cancers, a ton of mental health disorders and a strong link to autism from having older fathers.

Think about it. Men start off dating with the intent to not marry or commit to one woman. Their entire approach to dating and relationships is the exact opposite of most women/girls. Girls literally start off dating by falling in love and Hoping he is the one....even as young as College and High School ages. So what does that tell you about a man/boys intentions?? Men start the whole dating “game” off as a ploy...a numbers game...how many women can they attract, manipulate and f*ck. They KNOW th…

WTF??! Don’t give men money, especially not men 7 years older than you. If anything, he should be helping out his much younger girlfriend financially. This is also a stark reminder to never date let alone be in a relationship with a man who makes less money than you.

“...men don’t like women for who they really are, only their projections of what women should be, which is, entirely self-serving” TRUTH

He’s sounds disgusting and abusive. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hurts her by forcing her to have sex before she is even healed after labor. What a useless, gross creep! She needs to divorce him if he can’t be considerate of her HEALTH. He’s a liability.

You hit the nail on the head. It’s a hard and uncomfortable truth and proves that men don’t really love...its conditional and dependent on lust. That’s not really love at all to me.

Thank you for this! I knew that infant mortality was high for babies born to girls 15 and under but I never knew 19 and under also had high maternal death rates as well. Will definitely spout this one from the mountaintops for all the pedos and pedo-apologists who want to justify it due to biOLoGy smh

Kissing is a must. It’s a non-verbal indicator of a man’s feelings for you in many cases. It’s easier for a man to have sex with a woman he cares nothing about than to kiss her. I even remember hearing a male celeb say they don’t kiss because most of the women he had sex with (lots) are groupies and he reserves kisses for his real relationships...very telling

Been there done that. First red flag was that he mentioned “he has a lot of female friends”. Any man constantly keeping lots of women around is 1- probably draining them for their emotional labor and 2- learning how to fake empathy really well. Truly psychopathic.

Not when there are so many needy, desperate, Pick Me’s out there. They will accept ANY man, ugly or not, just to say they “have a man”. So ugly guys aren’t optionless, there options are just the women on their own attractiveness level and also the PickMes (which guys don’t even want bc desperation is not an attractive quality) but they are delusional and think they can get 9s and 10s but they can’t get the top notch and best looking High Quality/High Value women.
