Dude this happens more often than not. Like I’d say 1 in every 10 or 20 numbers that I get leads to a date. Most don’t respond. Many do then just stop. Par for the course unfortunately

Hey man, are you near a major city? I would strongly suggest finding people who go out and approach. I have been lucky enough to find such a group to light a fire under my ass after around 5 years of action faking. I was in your boat. It helped to see someone if the group get great results from cold approach. Helped even further to have them pester me incessantly to approach until I finally did. This was around 3 months ago, and after being horrified at even thinking about the thought of approac…

Aren't hostels dangerous? Didn't you see that movie?

Awesome. We run a lot and occasionally go out, and I expect her to hit me up, at least for the runs, but have been totally racking my brain trying to figure out how to approach it. Thanks man

Fantastic advice, I think that makes the most sense as well (as opposed to cutting contact - that shows you care way too much). You said keep your distance, but would you still hang with her if she invites you?

So just be cool, non-reactive, and act like it doesn't bother you? And be friends? I'm in a similar situation, and said "ok I'd like to be friends too" with the intention of having her initiate everything and being less available. I'm trying to date other women, so I'd ideally just move on soon and take her off the fucking pedestal, but assuming there was a way to maximize your chances with this girl particular, that would be it?

Is this an in-person conversation, so you could potentially spike her emotions, or preferable via text? I'm looking way too far into it, just curious what you think. Thanks

I think this is a very great point, but just to play devil's advocate here: do you think she'd still interpret me saying this as "having me around" because she can reach at out any point to continue things?

Awesome advice, thank you sir

That's absolutely what I did. Whoops. That's a fantastic point about making my intentions clear though. I said I'd like to be friends too - is it too late to make my intentions clear?

Thanks for the reply man, that actually did give me a little hope. I think she might genuinely want to be friends - would you recommend cutting contact anyways, like saying I need time or something? Seems like being friends with her but making her initiate everything might be my best option at this point. Any thoughts?

Good points. I think she genuinely does want to be friends but perhaps that's just her way of not feeling bitchy or something

Did you end up escaping the friend zone? This is 100% why I got friend zoned. Also do you have any suggestions for learning to escalate / making them want to do things for you?

Have you worked with Todd in person? I'm set to do a bootcamp with him and am wondering if it's worth the money - will end up being expensive between travelling, accommodation, etc. I haven't seen much of his material but have hear great things.

CU seems hella fratty, I went to CSU but lived in Boulder for a year. Try to find some lower key places off of the hill. Street game on Pearl is legit and I really liked Tahona as well. Day game at the Buff on weekends man, it is 90% hotties, just don't to it too often or you'll be known as the Buff's resident pickup guy. Alternatively pop down to Denver, 16th street is a fantastic day game spot

Surprised nobody has mentioned Rainey St. yet, by far my favorite place to go out with a better crowd than dirty but still packed.

Dude study abroad for sure. I did internships in college and can't say that they had any effect whatsoever on my job search. My travels, on the other hand, contain many of the most memorable experiences of my life. If you are competent and have a good personality you can do well in your career regardless of internships. A couple other things to mention: it will be WAY harder to travel once you are out of school, you pretty much have to reserve it for between jobs for 4+ month trips, and many peo…

Man, I've unfortunately been there in my far distant past. Now I just dig a few drinks - nothing too crazy. Completely agree with you, but when I'm not feeling a night it's totally tempting to have a few and let the confidence make it's way to my sober life. Thanks for the story!
/r/seduction02/12/17 04:09 AM

That was my thought as well - especially since the confidence seeps into my sober self. But I totally see the merits of doing everything sober as well. Thanks for the input!

Nice! Yeah I am as well. Moved here in May and have been really enjoying Rainey St. Not sure if you'd get anything out of winging with a beginner, but if you want to hit it sometime, shoot me a message

Thanks very much for the input, I know that's the way that I should go. The inexperience just gets to me and I always walk away feeling more confident from a night of drunken pulling than a night of sober mediocre approaches. But you're totally right!

Stay in hostel dorm rooms - one of the best ways. Meet and hang out with people staying at your hostel - typically turns into a party at night regardless of the day of week. Do cool stuff during the day with the people you've met. Just make sure you don't get too caught up in partying and trying to hookup, enjoying the act of traveling and new experiences should always take priority.

Yo man! Sounds like you might not be over her. Being over someone means that you would have no desire to seduce them. Wine night might have brought back some rusty feelings - I would cut contact and put your effort towards others to truly get her out of your thoughts completely.

Dude this is powerful, I'm pretty new to this and made a conscious effort to do this last weekend. I believe it was a game changer for me (though admittedly my perception could just be skewed and their receptivity may have been due to something else). Anyways, you want to make it really non-chalant, not like you are commanding and being "alpha" but just like its no big deal.

That's really good advice, I have to force myself to do that, which I totally did last night. It's 100% your brain tricking you, which is why I'm trying the whole sober approach thing - hoping to desensitize my brain to this. If the anxiety is not there you can't become accustomed to it. My problem last night was that by the end of the night I kind of felt mentally drained and went home a little after midnight (even after feeling fantastic talking to sets). Perhaps just tired. Anyways, thanks ve…

Thanks very much for the response - that definitely helps! I was talking to everyone, talked to a few all male groups, it was just between the sets that I felt like a weirdo. Just curious - when you say you did it once, do you usually just go out while drinking? Would you say that even doing that helps your non-drunk game? I just don't want to be the person walking down the street saying "I can't approach anyone, I haven't had a drink"

Probably not, if that worked out then you'd just have to worry about maintaining a long distance relationship. Maybe try these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emsM9Qi6fyM

Yep. Art's only been around for 30,000 years. Brute animalistic strength has been necessary to survive since the dawn of humanity. Women dig survival. My recommendation: put down the pencil and pick up a heavy piece of metal. Repeat for best results. In all seriousness, perhaps it's just in your delivery? Best to let talents like these come up naturally instead of trying to demonstrate them overtly. While many girls do like strength, if you're a cool person it is irrelevant.

Awesome - how do you go about working on it? Just through approaching?

I was wondering about that, that's kind of why I went the "what's his name?" route. If she hesitates it's bullshit, but if she doesn't, she's either a very good liar, or telling the truth. She didn't hesitate at all. That being said, totally could have been a shit test - how would you suggest turning it into a joke? I like how Sasha says "is he real?". Honestly, I was pretty beta throughout the whole thing, but definitely see your point there. Thanks for the input!
