Only sane response here. Men seem to be very opposed to doing anything extra like cosmetic procedures to become more attractive. Their loss, really
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/25 04:59 AM

Why don’t you use all that money you make to get some facial enhancements? The issues you speak of can easily be improved with facial implants and surgery. You can find the world’s best surgeons. You may never look perfect, but you probably don’t need to be, nor even close, to get to where you want. Unfortunately weak facial bones on a male face can really set you back even with all the other metrics in place.

Well it’s just a form of what some might call virtue signaling, or speaking in niceties. Men just need to not get roped into it and be smarter.

We already know that for the average woman: for every 10 guys she comes across, she might only find 1 of them attractive. We know this already. Why does it matter if women admit this or not? So we can have some sort of gotcha moment? When women complain in the way you say you can translate it into “the men I like are not liking me back, and the men who like me are not men I desire.” So what of it? This is all ancient news.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 05:59 PM

Yep Sounds like it. Although I will mention that sometimes extreme neuroticism like that can be due to an underlying mental health condition…or it could just be that that the person is difficult, period.

It’s in human’s nature to seek out the best that one can get. It sounds like you are telling women to settle. Just date someone similar to yourself? This is essentially what you are saying.

Once again this is an oversimplification. Kindness from an attractive man versus kindness from an unattractive man is not the same. It’s received very differently from the woman in question. So yes, if a woman is genuinely attracted to you, being kind to her will get you further than being a prick. (Assuming she doesn’t have some mental issue that predisposes her towards enjoying abuse). One last thing, being kind is not the same as being a pushover. Don’t conflate the two.

There is a lot of truth here. My GF’s younger sister is a stereotypical ultra left, staunch feminist, which I don’t have an issue with. However I find it amusing that the type of man she “thinks” she’s attracted to, continue to give her icks. Yet she keeps insisting on going on dates with these men, and then being disgusted (What was the definition of insanity again?) These icks are oddly specific, “his high pitch giggle laugh was a turn off…I didn’t like the way he neatly folded his hands at th…

Great points actually. Some men here actually have some weird standard where if a girl doesn’t want to sleep with you immediately (and I mean like within a few minutes to an hour of meeting you) she is settling for you and will cheat on you with “Chad.” So stupid and out of touch.

I really cannot relate to what you are saying—I think you are setting bar way too low for both men and women. In every one of my past relationships, even the bad ones, the women enjoyed sex greatly and had orgasms. I could not possibly imagine being in a relationship where there is only duty sex. And women should not have to sleep with men they are not sexually attracted to—this will lead to divorce and/or cheating. The hypothetical situation you are describing basically sounds like a marriage o…

I wouldn’t necessarily call it evil, but I think a woman who does it is setting herself up for a future divorce. Also I’m sure some women aren’t even aware of the negative ramifications of what they are doing. It’s almost like they are doing what society expects of them
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 05:55 AM

In answer to your second question, women seem to be much more able to settle for a man they don’t necessarily find sexually attractive, but who looks good on paper. Perhaps under the sway of society’s definition of an ideal husband. I do believe that this is a significant contributing factor to the high divorce rates. To most men not marrying someone they don’t really want to sleep with is intuitive and natural. Less so for women do to societal conditioning. Which is why I’m not totally opposed …

I think women do…but as for admitting to publicly, that is a different story. Women can admit that other women are toxic and abusive, in fact I hear it somewhat regularly from my circle

I think it ultimately comes down to balance. Narcissism in mild doses at least in my case can be endearing. But if out of control it can be off putting. With me it comes out as jokes about how cool and amazing I am, and my partner responds with the whole “oh stop it Tiger” while giggling. And there are times when I make situations all about me…but when I recognize it I step back and try to be more fair and inclusive, because believe it or not, I do strive to be a better person everyday. Again it…

My response to whether or not you are right is “maybe…sometimes.” Because I’ve seen it go both ways. In your example with the Mexican, I’ve seen this in real life, where a short gang banger type who is physically unremarkable is spinning plates successfully. But I’ve also seen women turn their nose up in disgust at these types and go for the “nicer” guy. I think what we think of as “toxic” in your context is actually being savvy, resourceful and dominant. Yes, being “street smart” is an attracti…

Women want sexual attention from men they are attracted to. I see lots of older male millennials and boomers who are out of touch, and are unattractive and gross, engaging in unwanted sexual advances to women. I feel they ruin it for the rest of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 10:47 PM

I agree with her 100%. I feel that the high divorce rate can in part be attributed to women being much more willing to settle for a guy that looks good on paper and who fulfills all the classic metrics (good job, good family, provider etc), but who may not be the most sexually compatible partner for her. When a woman is truly, strongly sexually attracted to a man, her behavior actually isn’t too different from a man’s.

High quality post. It’s like sports—it’s going to be a lot harder learning to play golf when you are 30 vs when you are 3. A lot of the top pros were already playing as very young children, you couldn’t possibly compete with that. Which is why if I had a son I would encourage him to date and socialize with people, and not be narrowly focused on academics (which is a common focus in my culture). Not going through this puts a man in a vicious cycle—awkwardness leads to rejection which leads to mor…

Do feminists actually argue this point? If so they are obviously wrong for all the reasons outlined. Humans are an inherently transactional, greedy, self serving lot. To argue that women are more moral is like arguing all black people are less moral. In other words it’s bigotry. But to your larger point: a lot of women and men have been celebrating the death of the United Health CEO—they may talk about how evil he is etc etc: but the truth is if given the opportunity, most women would kill to be…

It almost sounds obvious, but that is the truth. I will mention tho that it seems that men can sexually tolerate a wider range of attraction levels I.e “slumming around,” whereas women are more easily repulsed and less likely to do so

And with a little bit of experience, it is easy to tell which woman is which. Women who hate men and who also have low libidos are obviously a no a fly zone. My GF loves men, loves sex, loves dicks. Her sister is the militant feminist type, easily disgusted, hates men, and doesn’t really enjoy sex. But men approach her still despite knowing all this because she is attractive, and it usually ends in disaster.

“Friend Zone” doesn’t exist. A zone implies something that you can move in and out of. If a woman is not attracted, she is not attracted. You are not attractive enough to fuck, but perhaps you are funny/nice/convenient enough to keep as an acquaintance. Men if they are honest with themselves, know when they are being played. But many will go along with it and ignore their inner voice, and then later on, blame women for it. I don’t have sympathy for these guys because they are knowingly creating …

Very true. A common refrain is when some men have the thought “if only she can look past my appearance and see me for who I really am.” But their assumption is that who they “really” are is actually special, which often times is not the case.

Women who solely blame patriarchy for their misfortunes and lot in life, are just as bad as the men who solely blame feminism for their situation. I really don’t have sympathy for either, because what I see in real life is that people’s issues and misery can often be traced back them as individuals. I would say 90% is the time. Yes there is the case where it really is sexism that is the sole main cause, but that is more rare I believe. 2 women I know are highly successful and earn MUCH more than…

In real life, not Reddit, the men who care the most about getting women and who do seek female validation are also the ones that have the most success, because this drives them to do research, self study, and figure out how to maximize their chances. Do you consider these men needy? Also your argument that being miserable when you are single, automatically equals toxic dependency is too extreme and black and white, and situational. This is insane-do you actually believe this? You are taking a grain of truth and blowing it out of proportion. The title of your post could be more accurately reworded as “Men can ruin a marriage if they bend over backwards and don’t set healthy boundaries.” And even then its emphasis on the word “can.”

Not true. If you are better looking AND richer than your partner, and you are also not a pushover, you will get your way most of the time. However one must not abuse this position of power, in fact I make it a point to be fair and just when I find myself in such a dynamic. There is value in trying to be a “good person”

I agree that women can and do preselect, but often the onus is still on you to make the first move. I’ve heard many a female friend complain with disappointment bc some guy she fancied never made a move.

Well in my opinion it’s hard precisely bc it’s not a tenable or feasible way to generate arousal from ground zero. Yes…if she already has the raw attraction to you, these behavioral changes can be enhancements or embellishments
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 06:30 AM
2

If behavior was able to be on equal footing with looks, then many more men would be able to “behave themselves” into a sexually fulfilling relationship, instead of being perma-single or stuck in a dead bedroom. Also one other thing, how you are supposed to behave, will be somewhat dictated by your looks. Implicit behavioral expectations of a man will be influenced by how he physically presents. A short ugly guy who behaves in an overly masculine confident manner will be seen as try hard/cringey/…

1) I’m a strange mix of black, blue and red. 2) used to be blue pilled, but time, experience and observation, has changed my stance 3) because real life is not a Disney movie, or a high school musical, because contrary to popular fiction, sometimes the bad guy does live happily ever after, while the nice guy self deletes. 4) No because change in my context would require me pigeon holing myself into one narrow set of beliefs, and that is not right 5) What would it take to change? Money never made a man truly attractive ever. An ugly man with money is still as ugly as he was when he didn’t have money. Status on the other hand, in my book, includes physical attraction. Being truly high status means being good looking, with money, and connections. So high status obviously can build “true” attraction.

I’m only 6 inches, yet my gf experiences PIV orgasms regularly with me. I’m also the first one she has had this with. Her previous partners never got her close, and she thought she was one of the “70%.” Some of her past partners also had large penises. So this belief that bigger is better doesn’t match main my loved experience. I’m nothing special, however she is very genuinely attracted to me, so I think that’s a big part of it. Chicken or the egg. She regards you as a friend because there most likely isn’t any attraction for you otherwise. So confessing feelings to her would be akin to an unattractive stranger confessing to her, only with a bit more weirdness or cringe bc she knows you.

Men need to build themselves up physically, emotionally, financially, so that they never have to go thirsty in the first place. Telling men who are unwilling or incapable of the latter, to stop being thirsty, is an exercise in futility.

My short response is that getting into an average relationship with “just enough” sexual attraction is a recipe for future cheating. Two couples I know in IRL are currently going through divorces. The women did just as you said, they (being attractive themselves), ended up cheating with the hot “20%” guys you speak of. In my view, what you propose is different from compromising. In a compromising situation you may choose someone who is still hot, but less hot than another person, because the les…

I don’t see them as red flags personally. However in my experience guys who date single moms with kids tend to be more accommodating, and not as classically “alpha.” I think as long as the man knows the full implications of the situation he is in, there is no problem.

I always tell people to settle for nothing less than genuine burning desire from their potential partner. We have sex at lease 1-3 times when we are together. So 4-12 times per week (with some variance). -We have not slowed down, it’s remained the same. Somewhat related, but a criteria of compatibility for me is libido level as well as ability to orgasm. My current girl and the one before had absolutely no issues orgasming from intercourse. Both also have high libidos. This for me is essential. Sex is not fun unless I know my partner is into it as much as I am. Which is why I can’t wrap my brain around the concept of Rape. Sexual compatibility is not really discussed here. I’ve dated girls before who had serious hang ups about sex and/or physic…

I think there is strong societal pressure for women to marry and form a classic nuclear family type scenario. Even with feminism and modern gender politics, this inner drive to marry seems baked in, and even the strongest of feminists that I know eventually succumb to it. So given this, I’d say yes, there definitely women who marry men out of respect for societal norms, but the men in question may not be who she instinctively finds sexually attractive. Case in point, I have a black friend who da…

I went through a phase where I was dieting down to a low body fat percentage. As a result my libido went down. During that time I would go through the motions to keep her sexually happy as she had a high libido. I would use my fingers, or do oral, and even if we did intercourse I would make sure she climaxed, even if I had a difficult time climaxing. Eventually I went back up to a more manageable body fat percentage as I didn’t like changes in libido and mood. Things went back to normal :)

Pretty much this. Most people here are a horrible representation of real life. Of course there are always those kernels of truth, but some of the stuff touted here completely blows my mind in terms of relatability, as I just don’t see these things to this extreme degree in my lived experience. Yes…physical attraction is more important to women than what many men assume. Yes…some women are only in it for the money. Yes…a man should maximize his physical appearance through whatever means necessary…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/23 06:23 PM

Hard agree. The pill ideology can ruin a relationship in a major way. The worst thing I can imagine is a hardcore Blackpiller getting into a relationship with an unsuspecting normie girl, and then hyper analyzing everything through that lense. I mean, there are kernels of truths embedded within the Pills, but don’t let the entire philosophy dictate your relationship. Go with what feels right.

The personality aspects you pointed out are definitely not a dealbreaker and arguably, are not super important in my book. I see girls with guys with far worse personalities. I think your height is fine to be honest. But in a perfect world if money was not an issue, I’d say that if you fixed the asymmetries in the jaw and chin, bulbous nose, hairline, and eyebrows, that would make a huge difference. All of the things you mentioned can be predictably improved, it just comes down to time and money…

If you’ve tried everything then maybe you may need to change your mentality regarding kids/wife/marriage. But only you know if you have tried. No one else can determine that for you. Without having ever met or really talked to you, I’d predict that there are probably avenues you have not explored with respect to self improvement. First of all, how tall are you and how do you rate your face? Also are you neurotypical or neurodivergent
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 04:53 PM

Your latter point is the uncomfortable truth. Some men just won’t ever get it, just like how some people are not destined to be able to slam dunk a basketball. If you’ve honestly exhausted all possibilities and still can’t find a woman, I’d shift my mental focus elsewhere and try to be happy with what little time all of us have remaining, on this planet.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 02:58 AM

This is most definitely correct. Also the mistake would be for men (or women, if the situation was reversed) to assume that this spark of chemistry can somehow be cultivated given enough time and familiarity. Yea it does happen sometimes but I wouldn’t count on it across the board

I can’t at all agree with this. Yes what you speak of can occur if the woman does not have genuine lust/attraction for you. But if she does, she will move mountains for you and lay down her life to make you happy. I’ve experienced this. If this is your experience with women, then you need to identify why the women you are meeting do not have that genuine burning desire for you. Maybe it’s partially the women, but it’s most likely on you too.

Yea unfortunately looks is a big part of it. You can have the looks but if you are non-neurotypical this can also be a deal breaker. I’d do an honest self assessment of your looks. Then use this as starting point and do what you can within reason to improve them. For some people it may be simply going to the gym, for others it may be getting some cosmetic procedures done.

My past three girlfriends, including my current one, are both very high libido. It seems I keep ending up with these types of women—not that I’m complaining of course, being high libido myself. My current girl and the one before, were unable to orgasm during masturbation, and could only climax from intercourse. It’s like my reality is the exact opposite of what I read or hear about regarding women’s sexuality.

Well yeah. Most people tend to say one thing, but do another. In the context of dating you have to realize that women often will not totally speak their mind to you especially if you are a man and/or you don’t know them on a deep level. A lot of what they say is meant to be polite and to avoid hurting your feelings. So yes watching how/who/why women date who they date can be invaluable, and more useful then any verbal instruction, including threads on Reddit or dating handbooks. Also watching wo…

There are differences, but I think the differences tend to be overstated. One key difference is that women have an additional “stranger danger” type of defense where even if the man is attractive, he still needs to prove that he’s not harmful or dangerous, and sometimes this can be a longer process. But once you pass that test, In my experience, women can be just as visual as men. I’ve dated women who get turned on watching men masturbate, or who get wet and tingly at the sight of an erect penis…

Every relationship between human beings is ultimately transactional. Even between relatives and close family. Yes it manifests differently but it’s there. Transaction is part and parcel of the human condition. So what if she sees your money as a perk—would you be with her if she wasn’t into sex? We can easily say that you don’t like her for her, only how she makes your genitals feel.

Man what the heck is this—you wouldn’t expect a gay man to recondition himself to like women. We like what we like, how would a woman actually recondition herself to find something she doesn’t like to be attractive?? It’s not really possible. I think women should date guys she finds sexually attractive, and should stay away from guys she doesn’t find sexually attractive. Plain and simple. Even if it goes against the status quo.
