Jesus Christ, you’re a brick wall. I’m done wasting my time.

I’d call her a child too if she was throwing a fit over breakfast or making him out to be obsessed over a game for one weekend. It’s ridiculous. The physical abuse is unacceptable no matter who did it. Both are assholes.

He did not deserve physical abuse, that’s not what I said. What I said is that you’re acting like he did absolutely nothing wrong when in fact, everyone sucks here.

He doesn’t have the right to act like a child because his wife doesn’t make breakfast ONE time. He can grow up.

She didn’t “shriek” and throw her keys when he asked about breakfast. She threw the keys (still not okay) when he accused her of being obsessed with her game because he was dissatisfied with her solution of ordering doordash because she was busy and had been planning this vacation for weeks, if not months. He physically blocked the tv and guilt tripped her, claiming that it “wasn’t fair to the family” and practiced weaponized incompetence with the claim that he doesn’t know how to feed the cat. …

They are both assholes. He was being a control freak and acting like a child, and she had no right to get physical.

Actually, the weekend WAS prearranged. He even mentioned that she changed her vacation time to accommodate it.

Uh… This is NOT what happened. His wife was on vacation and was excited about the new FF launch. She was in the middle of a dungeon and he physically stood in front of the tv to interrupt her because he wasn’t satisfied with her perfectly reasonable solution (order doordash). He guilt tripped her, claiming that it wasn’t fair to “the family” (literally just himself and a cat) to take the weekend for herself, something she’s only done once in two years. She brings him snacks during his weekly DnD…

Verbal and emotional abuse. Insults, telling, threats, fear tactics, telling children that he’s going to murder them and lock them up inside trailers, things like that.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that.

I didn’t. I want just explaining that you were incorrect. That isn’t how things happened, still. You’re incorrect.

Nope, not what happened. I did. Nearly an hour ago.

Because they may love their partner and want to express it through marriage. I don’t care for marriage, really, it’s stupid, but I do care for divorce.

Thank for your input, darling. Go lay back down.

Ad hominem. The most basic of fallacies, when you have no real logic to apply to your argument. Lovely. Well, come back when you want to argue like a mature adult who understands how to debate properly.

I would need to look for it. Maybe I’ll have time later, but at the moment I don’t want to search it up.

Okay, fine. She’s a shit parent. That doesn’t mean everything that everyone has said here is okay.

No. More like realization that the subreddit you mentioned is a horrible and sexist place and divorce brings the end to unhappy marriages. There’s nothing wrong with getting married if you’re happy at that time. Love is a temporary emotion and it changes and fades. Divorce is fantastic because it allows a chance for people to separate when the time has passed.

I’m not making excuses for her. I’m explaining that one child compared to four children is an unfair equivalent.

It’s not like she had them all within a four year span.

One child compared to four, isn’t quite the same. And she doesn’t want to take care of these kids, she doesn’t want them at all. She doesn’t have a choice.

He’s an abusive, disgusting, rancid piece of trash. But yes, he’s also stupid.

My mother can not get a job because she has a disability. She is an absolute shit parent, but the father is an abusive monster who lied in court, but I keep trying to get her to go back so we can get proper child support Not because we want to get nails done or we want to have diamonds or something, but because we are literally in poverty and my mom can’t afford daycare to even TRY getting a job with her disability. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to handle what you could. Handling f…
