Seeing a lot of angry incel bile in the comments. Downvote me away, but... Women need men, sure, but let's not fool ourselves: we need women, too, maybe even more so. Fuck, this whole forum and the thousands upon thousands of lines of text written by its members were motivated this very need. Sure, the basic infrastructure of society is maintained through the labor of men...but take the comfort of women and/or family, even if only potential, out of the equation and see how long it would take for…

I don’t want to hurt her feelings I get it bro, because, honestly, I'm like this too. However, this is one of those cases in which you have to let people suffer the consequences of their actions.

Being with girls is supposed to be fun. If it's making you stressed out, you should probably review your mindset. As Pook wrote once, "perfect is boring". All these skills you listed are just fine tuning, not the main engine of your game. Work on one or two of them at a time. I'd say probably 80% of your problem stems from your own head.

Congrats on thinking with the right head. Yeah, I agree with your general assessment. The fact that she has easy access to your apartment could prove problematic, especially if the crazy start to come out. After all, you barely know her.

Nowdays I'd say I have a middle weight fighter physique, but the gains are coming in steady. I just hope I don't have to look like Golden Age Arnold for this shit to stop. Most dudes wouldn't cold approach a girl with a guy unless she's giving them the "fuck me" eyes. I thought about that initially, but she generally stays silent with a resting bitch face when that happens. I don't think she's at fault this time.

Is it obvious she's your girl? If yes, do you have a decent SMV? Oh yeah, I've had that happen while we were holding hands, or had her sitting on my lap, that sort of thing. Last week, I kid you not, we were interrupted mid make-out by two mofos asking for directions. For a second I thought I was in some youtube prank video. As to my SMV, I guess it's decent, it's certainly the best it has ever been. Good money, good lifestyle, good looking, the works.

“Hi how are you today?” conversations over weeks because you’re too scared to pull the trigger and actually invite her out for a date. Bravo, hear, hear. Most of the time, "taking things slowly" is just a man lying to himself and the girl - lying about his desire for sex with her. Thing is, you're not really fooling anyone, you're just coming accoss as a big pussy. I had to learn this lesson through the painful method.

Pseudo planche push ups are great. They've helped me achieve the one handed push up. I used to do rows with a weighted backpack, but, unless you get a really heavy one, I found it preferable to work on one arm rows instead.

I like this, but, IME, although you do gain a lot of mass, these super high volume programs tend to make your strength stall, at least that's what I felt when I attempted it for some time. Nowdays I usually stick to gymnastic rings and a lot of isometrics. You'll gain mass, even if you don't aim to. However, I still throw a high volume day every now and then to break monotony and trick the nervous system.

I think that mostly due to the presentation more than anything. If he had called it "visualization technique" or whatever, nobody would have cared. But schizo larp... Imagine if someone wrote a post saying they've created a lifestyle system to achieve your goals which focuses on Finances, Adaptability and Game, and then decided to call it the F--A--G method. Nobody would take it seriously.

Nice post. I'd like to reinforce the notion that spirituality is not something you merely think about, but it must be practiced through constant prayer/meditation/fasting/chi kung/yoga or what have you. It truly doesn't matter what tradition you choose to study. Buddhism and taoism in their various lineages, western occultism and alchemy, hermeticism, sufi islamism, it doesn't matter, as long as it resonates with you. In any case, they're just a door through which you can tackle more subtle expe…

If that's what you want to do, go ahead. 25 is still quite young. I screwed around a lot in various lines of work until I got into med school in my late 20's. Word to the wise: save up some cash before starting med school. Luckly I was able to live comfortably on savings during all those years because of my various past jobs. That's one of the advantages of starting later in life. I definitely want to be a Doctor but feeling as if I have to put my life on hold till my early 30’s hurts. Funny, …

you can't help somebody who doesn't first wanna help themselves. If you're talking about adults, sure, but his little brother is still a teenager, essentially still just a kid. I wish I had someone do a serious intervention in good will when I was in highschool. That would've saved me a lot of time and headaches down the road while trying to figure out things myself.

Downvote me away to your heart's content, but 48 Laws of Power is a crass piece of self help subliterature that appeals to petty minds. Playing a persona can be a tool to test new behavior patterns in a way that helps your self development, but it becomes tiresome over extended periods. Honest expression should always be your goal.

Your situation is unusual, so I don't believe many here, including myself, will be able to help you develop a greater insight. That said, more important than how your past affects your relationships is your lack of acceptance of your past. What you did was evil and people were hurt, true, but, in order to move past it, you need to acknowledge it. From your post, I got the sensation that you don't have anyone, be it family, friend or a therapist, to discuss your former life with, or that you even…

Well, I'd rather play X Box all day than getting drone striked or blown up by artillery fire. War and violence are glorified only by those who never suffered it directly, but I digress. In essence, people in general are unmotivated and shepherded into monotonous consumerist lives by the powers that be for the benefit of big corporations and their political lackeys. To say that the lives of most lack adventure is an understatement, but I feel like life before WW2 had more opportunities for outlie…

You'll need a few years of experience in different martial arts to be able to deal with that. Everyone is saying boxing, which is great, but it alone won't suffice if the assailants are really trying to kill you. If you had to pick only one self defence method, I'd say carry a weapon, be it a knife, baton or gun.

anxiety for physical intimacy First of all, congrats on your journey. Life's not easy and doesn't come with a user manual, but you can be confident on your hability to change. Now, it's hard to tell without knowing you personally, but I'd suspect that it your issue probably stems from your childhood and upbringing. Practice and gradual exposure. Seek no reaction, expect nothing from others and be yourself unapologetically. Also, here's a protip derived from martial arts training: always be conscious of your breathing. You should strive to naturally breathe by expanding your lower belly. When you become anxious, your breathing becomes more focused on your chest, resulting in faster rate and less ventilation, which is linked to a fight-or-flight response. Sinking your breath to your belly gets you out of you…

But if I were to finish it, I'd earn more money than I ever could in my home country. Then don't be stupid, finish your degree in the foreign university. Two or three years is nothing, time flies. Your social life may suck today, but it can always change tomorrow. Don't throw away your future because of temporary discomfort. You'll hate yourself for a long time if you do.

What is a med highschool? I imagine it's a prep school for med school candidates where you study the basic sciences, like biochem, anatomy and so on, right? The way most med schools teach the classes in absolutely atrocious. Sitting in class while the prof. inundate you with information to memorize is a miserable experience. The problem is that a lot of memorization is required in the beggining stages, since it provides you with a mental map of the human body that will be indispensable during yo…

Chasing Amy is not bad movie to gather bits and pieces of red pill, tho. It is essentially about Ben Affleck's character failed attempt to work through his disgust regarding his girlfriend's colourful sexual past, which she lied about because she knew it was a deal breaker - i.e. every other asktrp post. Even 30 years later, no one likes the idea of dating the town bicycle. It's our basic biology to be repulsed by this.

Yup. Bought my pair a month ago. It makes everything incredibly hard since you have to compensate for the rings's instability, but it delivers results. You'll be recruiting muscles you didn't before and learn to employ maximum tension, even in basic moves like pull ups and dips. There are a lot of gymnastic ring workout videos on youtube.

Search for Woujo's "How to hold frame" post. It's very long, but it touches, I think, at the essence of what frame is. All the other comments about money, status, etc, are tangential at best. Frame is an inner state that is closely related to your inner beliefs and drive to seek and overcome life's challenges, society be damned. No wonder that adopting a mission is such an important piece of TRP advice.

There's always a small theoretical risk, but it depends on her adherence to treatment and her viral load at the moment. If her viral load is undetectable, the risk of transmission is very small, especially from such brief contact with her external genetalia. I'd say you're probably safe, but wait 20 days and get tested for anti-HIV antibodies. Post exposure prophylaxis is also a possibility, if you're really worriedm but it's most effective within 72 hours of exposure. But, once again, I'm prett…

The guys who tell you to next girls for any reason have no skin in the game, so to speak. Lots of asktrp users are not thinking about your specific question and situation; they just want to sell you their worldview. There are some jewels hidden in the comments section, but you have to use discretion. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Don't armwrestle with girls over minuscule issues, especially if your goal is sex. That indicates lack of frame. I like that quote from Game of Thrones: "if a m…

IMO, you dun goofed, OP. Girlfriends and plates are going to be unenthusiastic/bitchy from time to time, especially when you take their hormonal cycle in account. From what you wrote, I got the impression you got angry over nothing concrete, i.e., you lost frame. Don't let text games screw up your sex life. Bro you took too long to reply to my comment, I think I'll answer in two days, like a real alpha. Just joking. I believe you are asking the wrong question. You should come from a frame of mind where you shouldn't punish her because there was no offense to be punished, as she doesn't have the capacity to offend you. Reply whenever you feel like it. Why would I respond immediately when she doesn't text me for 3 weeks? Minding such things puts a dent into your frame. Minuscule non issues like how often she texts you shouldn't even register in your mental radar. It's part of forging frame and IDGAF mentality. You'll save yourself much pointless stress in the long run.

Mate, it's very hard to find a woman who will try to lift you up and support your dreams and projects. What you two have a man to woman relationship; being your best friend, coach, personal self help guru, etc, is not part of her role. As a girlfriend, her affection is of a different kind. I wish I realized that sooner in life. The support you seek is best gained from friends and family - even then, it can be hard to find, for some people.

From another comment, you've said that life is good except for your low sex drive, so I take no signs of disease (including depression) are present. You've said you don't fap or watch porn, but do you have girlfriends, plates, any sort of direct sexual stimulus? You know, lately I've been wondering if the popular perception of alpha - stone faced, text only for logistics, giving zero fucks, ripped body - will remain the main staple of game advice in the next few years. BAP will sometimes hit on subjects that you may find ridiculous, or too esoteric, or conspiracy seeming. This is done purposely as well! BAP is trying to get you to see the world with a new set of eyes, as a beginner- an entire reset point. Hm, could be. When he started going on about a race of underground people living in the dark corners of the Earth, I was wondering what the hell he was driving at, but I admit it ressonated well with the mythopoetic tone of the text.

Universal Man's channel on youtube has some good videos on building good habits. In summary, he suggests a combination of journaling and using habit trackers, both of which I've been using successfully. Also, IME, identify which tasks (usually it's either lifting or studying for most people) you struggle the most with to get done and execute them first thing in the morning, getting up early if you have to. Your biggest hurdle is your lack of social skills. The good news is that, like any skill, it can be practiced. Since you want to make the most of your last year in school, I'd suggest taking improv classes and be upfront regarding why you're taking them - you need people who understand your struggle and know more or less how to help, unlike your relatives. Since you mentioned video games, I'll share a little personal story about why I used to partake in this habit that may be related to the topic at hand: Back in 2014, I used to play Skyrim. I found the critique of biology in the beggining of the book to be one of it's most interesting parts. The idea of a successful organism as one which can simply replicate itself and endure in an stressful envoirement does seem a bit underwhelming, and fits right into the image evoked by the term "bugmen" - a communal society not only lacking differentiation and individualization, but outright suppressing it under the hand of the matriarch. I think you have to get to the point that there's no need to derive your sense of self worth from anything external or of how others perceive you. If you're a raging asshole, it will give you some dose of common sense and basic social grace, but if you're already polite and a natural listener who still isn't satisfied with your social life, look elsewhere. Both are correct. To me, there's no contradiction; while being well regarded by at least some is necessary, people pleasing behavior is repulsive to most. This is a good general mindset for life, but OP needs to at least try to find out if there is an issue with him, since everyone seems to give him the same treatment. Maybe it's all on OP's head, but, in the case that it's not, then simply ignoring the problem and mentally telling the world to fuck off will seriously hinder his opportunities in life. One thing that help tremendously to reduce my tennis elbow problems was grip training. I did nothing fancy, just started with dead hangs, then towel hangs from a pull up bar. There's a exercise in which you tie one end of a rope around the middle portion of a stick, while tying the other end on some sort of weighted object. You roll the stick to get the object off the ground. It'll kill your forearms and do wonders for your grip.

As I see it, you can either try jelqing, which is extremely time consuming and carries the risk of fucking up your dick if you do it wrong, or work on your prowess in bed. Worrying about it further than that is a waste of mental space and time, imo.

Man, inflammatory bowell disease is a real kick in the balls. If that was your only problem, it would be a lot to deal with already. In addition to what the other guys already said, seriously consider switching doctors if your current therapy plan is not satisfactory, and read extensively on the effects of diet on your condition. I've seem patients greatly improve their quality of life by restricting certain foods from their diet.

I did it for a short while. It's true that girls hit you up a lot, but you have to deal with lots of dickheads as well. The pay isn't that great. The pub I worked on was open all night, so the day after was mostly wasted. Not worth it, imo.

In addition to what the other posts said, lately I've been wondering if what we understand as confidence doesn't also encompass mental toughness, the willingness to act and developing the strength of your conviction in your decisions. Mental toughness would correlate to your capacity to act (i.e., doing what needs to be done) despite feelings of fear or discomfort. Special forces soldiers talk extensively about this. The willingness to act could be summerized as the impetus to overcome mental in…

The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox is a good book on the subject. It breaks down different aspects that affect personal magnetism and suggest exercises you can do to improve them. Also, and this is a bit more fun, take a look into the training of intelligence agents and police investigators. It is said that a good detective is the one that can make people talk. Richard Tolimson, who was a MI6 operative, once wrote that one of the training exercises he had to go through was being dropped in a unknow…

Keep in mind that visual inspection is a limited tool when checking for STI in women. HPV, for example, can hide in the cervix or vagina walls. If you want to be a good all around fighter, you'll need to practice all three eventually, but if you have to choose one, go with whichever is better taught in your area. If you want to start off with a strong foundation, go with boxing first. Many of the great Muay Thai champions were also accomplished boxers. Personally, I believe that, despite the limited skillset, boxing gives you way more resistance and mobility than Muay Thai, and you'll be able to out-punch most people. BJJ, however, is…

I don't have any hard evidence to back this up, but I strongly suspect that, if you're not having a semi frequent source of sexual stimulus, completely cutting out fapping and leaving yourself hanging with unanswered urges can harm your libido and making it hard to perform when the opportunity arises. I believe it's part of the cycle of self improvement. In the beggining, you see yourself as flawed and try to change your nature. People giving advice for situations they likely haven't experienced or triumphed over. This cannot be overstated. Reading theory will never trump real experience. Most of us would like to imagine ourselves as alpha badasses who can ace any relationship problem after reading TRP, but the truth is that, without experiencing these challenges firsthand, you'll likely fall off the horse a few times before the theory really sinks in. Most of us simply aren't qualified to give advice.

I believe that it's important to realize that such situation is supposed to hurt. What's important is how you choose do deal with it, and it seems you did well in this regard. The pain will fade away soon, if you endure it with dignity, because it won't seem like such a big deal as time goes by and life keeps going on. When faced with such predicaments, I find it healthy to always default to action and completely shut the negative voices poisoning your mind. So go out for a run, play with your p…

In these days of social media monitoring, fake news, meetoo and resolution of interpersonal tensions through ghosting, I'd say that was a compliment. People may not like you for saying the truth, but, in the end, they'll respect you, even if begrudgingly so. Why? Because, deep down, everyone wants to be like that.

I'll probably get downvoted for this, but I'm a fan of the after sex text and then actually calling them 1-2 days later. Usually I text them at night and ask if I can call them. Girls seen usually positively surprised by the fact you want to talk to them directly. Besides, it throws all the ambiguity of intermitent texting out of the window and you'll be able to set a new date right then. Chatting through text is a bore anyway. Depending on your demographics, it might not be appliable, but, at l…

This right here. You're simply very young still, OP. You might have a good knowledge base of how the world works, but you need to get out there and put yourself on there to get smacked down in order to really forge your frame and strength of personality. It's like a boxer who has perfect tecnique and performs outstandingly in drills, but has never sparred hard in his life - when the time to fight for real comes, he'll get his ass handed to him. However, with each beatdown, his experience and cap…

I'd start with a good boxing gym and spend a few years there. If you want to switch to MMA, Muay Thai or kickboxing later, your hand skills, footwork and sense of strategy will be well above most of your peers. Assuming you're looking for a striking art, that is.

Read one of Shakespeare's plays out loud with a cork between your front teeth, making sure every word can be cleanly understood. It'll help with your enunciation. As for slowing down, this has more to do with anxiety and the feeling that you struggle to retain people's attention. Work on your inner state and make a conscious effort to speak slower.

A few years ago I would have said that this is some hardcore next level evil shit, but I fear it is way more common than we suspect. Maybe attachment is indeed the source of suffering; imagine being attached to a whore like that! Too bad that, according to the concept of AWALT, they're all capable of such cruelty. The idea still sends chills down my spine, despite all the exposure to TRP. I long for the day I can simply say "fuck it" with a genuine smile.

Eloquently put. It seems to me that MGTOW would make sense if you're 50-60, three weddings and 4 kids later, but in your youth? Why cut yourself from experiencing life in all its facets? Great sex with a woman who likes you is one of life's great joys, despite what some here preach. As far as we know, you only live once. Let's make it count.

I've been in your shoes, even sharing the feeling I could do anything and life would be just fine. In the end, you have to give yourself permission to try different things. Just because you like a subject it doesn't mean you'll enjoy working with it. Why did you want to work for that government agency? Maybe you like adventure and dangerous lifestyles. Reflect on that. Having been into martial arts and fighting for a while, I'd say you should learn whatever is well taught within your area. Good judo will outshine shitty muay thai any day of the week. Combat sports tend to be more applicable because of the competition element, so it attracts people who really want to fight. Are you sexualizing the tone of the relationship early on? This made a world of difference for me. It's not only planting the seeds of future sex in her imagination, but sexualizing yourself and your appearance. It involves, on a superficial level, accepting your sexual energy as a man and let it shine through the way you dress, talk and carry yourself, and, on a deeper level, accepting yourself and learning to let go from fear and inhibitions.

You sound way too self conscious and distracted by your inner chatter and anxiety. People can smell incongruence a mile away; they simply think you're odd. If you don't communicate much and just stand in the corner without interacting, this effect multiplies. Agreed. Personal experience has shown me that trying to get girls you're not intimate to talk about deep topics such as spirituality and passions is pointless most of the time or even downright harmful, if your goal is simply getting into her pants, making out, whatever. Performance anxiety is a probable culprit, since you've been through a rather long dry spell. However, I have a theory that doing NoFap without any direct sexual stimulus might have adverse effects on your ability to get hard, as if the neural pathways involved became weaker during the course of your abstinence period. I've had a similar problem while on NoFap, so I ran a little experiment with massaging my member with baby oil daily in order to get my body used to having an erection, without re…

Other comments covered most of the important aspects of your question, but just to thrown in my .25 cent: don't do it just to improve your SMV. You need to have a proclivity towards fighting and everything that comes with it, which includes getting hit and hurt. There are other physical activities that will give you confindence and strength, like rock climbing or swimming. Find something that you truly enjoy.

Agreed, but it depends on your goals. If you're satisfied with your sex life and rather weather dry spells to find worthy girls to plate, yours is the way to go, I think. However, if you're purely trying to have sex - nothing wrong with that, sometimes you just have to get it out of your system - then the logical approach would be maximizing your chances with as many girls as possible.

What seems to be working for me is varying my response time; sometimes it's immediate, others it might take hours or a couple days. Don't fall into the trap of always waiting X hours to reply or the girl will catch up and either lose interest or play the same game. Losing hair fucking sucks and no current treatment, save erection-killing finasteride, seems to really work. You need to figure out what kind of hair loss you're suffering from. If it's associated with some form of scalp dermatitis, systemic inflammatory disease or other form of psychological or physical stress, like nutrient deficiencies, your prognosis is better than full blown androgenetic alopecia.

Be very careful about choosing your doctor if you decide to go for the surgery route. Whatever vascular or nervous damage your penis has could get worse if the doc fucks up your operation. I'd invest in non invasive methods first, like medication, NoFap, abstaining from alcohol, etc.

Boxing will give you a good, well defined physique, but don't expect to get swole doing it. If you choose to train in boxing, focus on learning how to fight and using lifting or calisthenics or whatever as a complement. Agreed, but wrestling is still a vital skill for a fighter. You could argue that Muay Thai might be more economical since it works the clinch and close quarters extensively, but it can be nullified by someone with good takedowns and throws. Maybe what you're after is the development of your social acumen. Chances are that you have a lot of potential to be funny and witty, you just have to practice, i.e. talking to a lot of people, especially if you've always been the quiet guy in the room. These are good traits to have, but you can't give away your good will for free. Reserve it for your family and true friends. Others are afforded civility and, in some cases, hospitality. I had a similar issue to what you're describing. In order to do this, I tried "not caring", but this is like telling you to not think of a pink elephant - boom, there it is in your mind's eye. One of the things that really helped me develop my frame is the concept of not seeking any particular reaction from anybody when I do the things I do or say the things I say. You do these things because you want to. Must be the so called anger phase. Most of it stems, I think, from the way RP orthodoxy is formulated, which can come across, for the frustrated lonely man, as portraying women as the enemy.
