Excited to hear about all these mentally-stimulating successful professional men lining up to land a divorced, aging, single mother! I know at the top of my career I couldn't wait to start dating them.

Several academics from institutions around the nation chimed in. Harvard Ph.D. candidate Kareem Carr suggested that math should be reevaluated because it was primarily developed by white men. Phrase this another way and it's suddenly quite bigoted: "Only white men were smart and hard working enough to develop math theories."

A lie can be a lie by omission. Here, while the article title was 100% accurate, it did leave out some important context, and implied she lost the winnings merely because of the timing (i.e., win-->divorce), whereas she lost the winnings because of fraud on the court.

So instead of actual law you just want to be subject to the whims and whimsy of random individuals like a local judge? Great idea... We had systems like that before, you know. They were called tribalism, monarchy, feudalism, etc.

Yes, you are completely wrong. All community property states recognize assets coming into the marriage as separate property (although a prenup can clarify terms on converting SP into CP). Prenups are overwhelmingly designed to determine the split of what would otherwise be classified as community property (in addition to the many other minor things, including clarifying SP).

Mr. Right isn't too interested in a dried up 45-year-old "career" woman. Vassar degree or not.

she wants all the good parts of regressive patriarchy, but none of the bad parts. Basically, do everything she says, never disagree with her, and pay all her bills.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
