Do you hear yourself? We do know why women tend to pick different jobs compared to men. Yes, some is social issues, but more often it's not. Same goes for men. Have you ever met an engineer? Engineers, software etc are the least sociable people. It's not a job for a social being to be in, since most of the job consists of basically no interraction, just tasks assigned to you and then it's your job only to figure it out how to do it. The ones that get hit rarely report it. My cousin got hit by her husband quite hard, she has since filled a complaint. She can't afford to report it to the police. The dude became a dealer meanwhile after they had a pause and has quite a lot of bad friends. So for her safety we're not reporting it.
