Kids and religious sects can and do. Which are generally exempt from the draft, but what I'm getting at in the DOD can't force the SSA to divulge their records for the purpose of a draft without a court order, assuming it has completed the apppeals process.

No they don't; the highest government level that maintains birth records are the states. There's no national birth certificate. Also, there is no law that requires you to apply for a social security number; you are required to have one to receive certain federal benefits like FASTFA loans or claim a child on your taxes, but not everyone has that either.

They are basically paid a salary, but the men's team is paid by a combination of that plus bonuses. The salary for the women is higher than the men, but the potential bonuses for men is higher than possible for women. Their union negotiated to forgo possible bonuses for higher guaranteed salaries. The mens' team asked for bonuses. They won some big games, and got big bonuses. The womens' team wins more, but since no one is watching their games, they get smaller bonuses. That's why the judge dismissed the unequal pay claim. It's like choosing to either take a salary, or be paid by commission. The women's team chose a salary, the men took comission, and proceeded to crush it in sales.

Mythbusters tested this by having men and women parallel park a car. Yes, they defined 'accident' by bumping into another car or going up on the curb. It was equal in terms of 'accidents' but the women that successfully parked the car took WAY longer and their 'accidents' were pretty severe compared to normal bumper-to-bumper taps most of the men were doing.

I've strangely had the opposite problem. Many times I've tried to pay for the whole bill, only for my dates to either split the check or pick up the whole tab. One girl I dated paid for everything. No. I have an option as a commuter to exit a bus or train at my whim and wait for the next available scheduled service. I do not have that luxury on an airplane; there I am trapped. I do this often on mass transit. Not just for children, but loud teens, arguing couples, etc. Being able to hop off the L and wait five minutes for the next train or bus is great. I can't hop off a plane mid flight; I'm not DB Cooper. . . I swear I'm not.

I tried to do that, drunk, on a flight from Honolulu to San Francisco. The baby wouldn't stop crying for three hours, I mean, he was screaming. Both parents were just ignoring it and messing with their iPads. I eventually shouted something like "holy shit, tend to your child for fuck's sake!" Me and the dad grabbed each other after exchanging more words. Pretty stupid on my part, but seriously, look after your baby.

There is a time limit in most states. After a few years you become liable. It is on you to demand a test once divorce proceedings begin. However, if the spouse refuses, you typically have grounds to refuse alimony or child support. I know most states have no fault divorce, but that doesn't mean actions don't have consequences. Yes, the system is stacked against the man, but if your spouse was definitely stepping out on you, she will pay.
