5	Why is masculinity so dependent on women. True masculinity isn't being dependant on anything or anyone. A genuine man is going to carry himself in a masculine manner whether he is alone, with a woman, or with other men. Otherwise he would be just putting on an act of being masculine. No it doesn't, unless they're still actively engaged in it, that would tend to have a negative affect.
