how so? a HVW should be treated as such, but that doesn’t mean you can demean a HVM. if you want to be an equal then act like it.

how would you treat a HVM? if you can’t see yourself treating him as good as he treats you, don’t date him. remember just because you know your worth doesn’t mean whoever you date doesn’t have any value. the major thing you need to pay attention to is the “IF he treats you right” if he’s an ass then send him the same energy and leave. if he treats you right you should treat him right too

what do you define as “feminine presence” bc of it means sitting there being pretty and completely dependent on him i think you might want to rethink the purpose of this sub. i don’t give him to make him stay, i give him gifts to show that he’s just as appreciated in the relationship. i keep saying it’s a 50/50, he’s the one who usually cooks and cleans (i hate doing that) so when i can i get him a gift or a surprise. a relationship should never be one sided, if you let it become that you let hi…

the gifts you give him are taking on the emotional labor and the many other things. he’s happy with what he receives, you’re happy to give what you do, and you don’t feel bad about it. all i’m saying if a girl’s live language is gifts, she shouldn’t feel bad about it or have it portrayed as a negative quality

the tweet essentially said “if he hasn’t spent exorbitant amount of money on you, you shouldn’t spend any on him”, my comment was meant to address this subs tendency to see any form of spending money to make your SO happy as pick me behavior, which it isn’t. i understand that it was exaggerated, but when i first joined i would feel guilty when i bought my bf the rice bowls, i thought it would make him respect me less, but i realized that a HVM would be secure enough to not let something like mon…

easiest way to lose 150 pounds of useless flesh, you’re better off without him when you feel up for it, call up your girlfriends and have that picnic he promised with them, you’re going to be okay he isn’t worth the headaches and heartbreaks

she’s spoiled alright and when she dumps his jealous ass she’ll be spoiled even more by a guy who can respect her and the work she put into her studies

People have their own fears and they are valid, that's why I started the comment by saying that her daughters wouldn't hold anything against her if she leaves him

When you are in a public, official relationship and you feel comfortable. Don't feel obligated to be warm if you aren't comfortable with it yet, a HVM will understand and let you grow at your own pace. I would recommend small things in the beginning, remembering small details he mentioned or looking into his interests, and when the relationship progresses you can move onto bigger gestures. Just remember that regardless of who you are with, if they can't respect your boundaries and your pace, they…

If you want to purchase property with the money do it now and make sure its only in your name, get a prenup that protects all premarital assets and keep a paper trail of the mortgage payments you make (this is if they try to argue that the down payment was made before the marriage but that the final installments were a joint effort). Talk to a lawyer or do some research about the laws in your area regarding property and assets in the case of a divorce. If you don't get a prenup you leave yoursel…

He obviously tried to look for work in the beginning and when he couldn't he looked for other ways to provide. He probably brings some money with the honey and produce and she seems happy with the set up. It sounds like she is happy being the primary breadwinner and he's doing a great job maintaining the house and her happiness. As long as they are both happy with the set up I don't see why people have such a problem with it. Women are more than capable of pulling in more money than their spouse…

i think it’s more like she’s staying bc of the stigma that surrounds single moms, she says she plans on leaving when her daughters are out of the house. she could also be staying bc she doesn’t want to risk her husband getting custody and using them as maids when she can’t protect anymore

if your girls are old enough to understand that his behavior isn’t right i’m sure they’ll understand if you leave, start the paperwork and depending on how he acts you’ll be able to be free before they start college. you deserve better

honestly i can see why he’d be upset, if my bf ever said he was dating down for any reason i’d be pissed. idk everything that happened, but if she thought she was dating down she should have broken up with him a while ago, it just seems plain mean to go shittalk your SO.

I don't think she's a pickme, it sounds like shes saying that just as men shouldn't be emotionally stunted and expect a women to pick up the slack, women shouldn't expect men to pick up the financial slack. This tweet is targeted towards LVW who expect a millionaire but aren't willing to work themselves

i completely agree on the prenup part and i get what you mean by paying his fair share, i was under the assumption that he helped with utilities and stuff while she covered the actual rent part. so instead of a 30/70 split on everything, he paid for internet and buying physical things for the apartment while she covered rent and like maintenance stuff

emphasis on “relationship”, if y’all have been dating for a while and it’s serious then yeah both parties should be paying, but if y’all have been together for a month and he starts “forgetting” his wallet at home when he’s the one who asked you out in the first place, start “forgetting” to meet him at the date
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/05/20 02:28 PM

i might be wrong but it sounds like if you had stayed he definitely would have tried something while you were asleep. if he can’t understand that no doesn’t mean convince me, then you did the right thing by leaving. if y’all have been on and off, he doesn’t sound like a good emotional investment. (this is personal i’ve never liked the idea of relationships like that bc if you really love them you won’t breakup with them that frequently) plenty of people are stressed about COVID but the way he ha…

from what you’re saying, it sounds like he’s only in this bc you begged him to be, not because he actually wants to. after a breakup (especially from a long term relationship) it’s best to take some time for yourself and find out what you want from the next one. i agree with the others saying that finding a therapist and working on issues would be so much better for you than staying in a relationship that’s destroying your self esteem. get out before it gets worse.

he probably texted 10 other women the same thing (seeing the time stamp it looks like he took a bit to respond) and he asked you to come over and did drugs no less than 3 hours later, meaning he probably doesn’t have any interesting hobbies or you know a life

it was more so minor trauma, i was 11 when a guard asked me if my mom was kidnapping us bc we had separate last names. i thought i was going to lose my siblings. it’s not just inconvenient stuff, i don’t want our kids going through that either
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/05/20 03:11 PM

i’d be really careful with those types, they tend to be the kind that become super controlling in the long run. their lives revolve around yours and they’ll expect your life to revolve around them too
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/05/20 01:41 PM

if the wife hasn’t said anything about him paying the child support he OWES you, I wouldn’t feel bad for not giving them any of YOUR money. if they could afford it they should have gone to court to fix the amount based on income and expenses, but if he hasn’t then either she doesn’t know about you or she doesn’t care about you. either way it’s not your responsibility
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/04/20 02:38 AM

the prenup was already existing, the only reason why she’d want to get rid of it would be bc of the money, he didn’t say she was a gold digger but idk what else you’d call a money hungry person. he didn’t want one in the first place bit she forced him, she should have to live up to the decision she forced on her husband
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 05:28 AM
3

that’s sounds the beginning of super abusive behavior, you actively told him what made you uncomfortable and he choose to ignore it. he sounds like the type of guy who would ignore you when you tell him you don’t want to do anything sec related and he keeps pushing bc “you’re playing hard to get and he can change your mind”. you’re better off without him
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 02:59 PM

No, controlling would be if you forced him to. I think people can form strong relationships regardless of what they follow on Instagram and making that a deal breaker can cause you to lose a HVM who otherwise would be perfect. If he follows models and that makes you uncomfortable, talk to him about it. If he won't unfollow them than you know where you stand in his life and act accordingly. Communication is important.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/20 07:58 PM

I think as long as he respects your wishes Insta-wise, there shouldn't be a problem. Like if he follows models, but unfollows or even blocks them when you ask. Or if he just uses Insta to keep in touch with friends. The best rule of thumb is if he's willing to change his behavior to make you happy and comfortable, having an Insta shouldn't be a dealbreaker.

if you can't pay an extra $30 to take a girl out, maybe don't ask her out in the first place?

omg of course!!! I'm sorry I was more so refering to after a relationship has been established, I completely misunderstood. I totally agree with you, going to a stranger's house alone is never a good idea, especially if it's a date.

In my case, he just forgets. He had gotten so used to doing one thing that for a while I had to remind him to use certain products. I'm not saying that he shouldn't need to put in the effort, all I wanted to point out is that in some cases guys just don't know. The last line was supposed to relay that, if he needs help from time to time help him, but if you're doing everything for him, run and never look back.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 10:17 PM

i completely agree, what I'm just trying to make sure that women don't view wealthy men as high value. Just because he can pay doesn't mean he cares about you

I got my bf into skincare, but I didn't see it as being his mother. He's been getting me to eat healthier. As long as its a mutual thing I don't see why helping your SO would be seen as being a mother to them. Don't be their mother, but a good SO should help you learn and grow. If he can't do something, help him, if he cant do anything, that's another story.

remember ladies - LOW VALUE MEN ARE TRASH find a HVM or stay single, never settle for trash because it’s LVM who will sell you into something like this
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 04:52 AM

i think its the effort that matters the most in the end. If he can't afford a nice dinner out so he stays in and cooks an amazing meal instead, I don't see why that can't be a good way to show that he's interested and committed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 12:37 AM

the only reason you'd be a LVW is because you've been so conditioned to accept this kind of behavior that you can't leave him yet. he's not only being inconsiderate, he's acting like an abuser. if he was a HVM than he would comfort you after something like that. Tough love would have been him having a serious discussion with you and looking over the rubric for your discussion, not automatically assuming you "deserved" the grade. You can do better
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/04/20 05:31 PM

The second he stops trying to keep you, run. If he loves you, he will spend every second making sure you know just how much he cares
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/04/20 05:28 PM

anyone willing to settle for someone like that might not want to listen to reason, i say tell her but don't be surprised if she tries to blame you or ignores the problem completely

Find a man who treats you like you're worth everything, not a boy who has everything
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/04/20 05:58 PM
12

this is why we don’t date down ladies!!! if they think they can get a girl like you they’ll think they can find better and treat you like trash. find someone who cherishes you for you and not your looks
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/04/20 03:49 PM

The perfect response to this is "cool glad you know" before you block him, makes sure he knows he's being trash
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/20 05:45 PM

bc they hate that who they would have used as a quick fuck doesn’t want them and has higher expectation for who she goes out with, the hate to see the pool of women they can use and leave diminish
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/03/20 02:13 PM

i hope all of their gfs wait until they’re going through a hard time and “put them down like dogs” what kind of asshole leaves his SO because of trauma, if you’re not ready for a real relationship don’t break up with your hand just yet
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/20 02:48 PM
41

honestly doing that sounds more like he’s trapping you, if you ever try to break up with him for being a shitty person you know he’s gonna hit you with a “but the kids love you, how am i going to tell the kids, they’ve already lost one parents, etc” don’t let him trap you with a kid you never had

the original comment made it sound like the husband forced his wife to be a stay at home mom even tho he couldn’t afford it, when the posts sounds a lot more like the wife wanted to stay at home and he accommodated for that, in my opinion painting someone in a false light is just as bad as directly attacking them no one would advise anyone with a degree to stay at home, firms want modern experience regardless of sex or gender. i don’t necessarily agree with the gender norms but i do follow tradi…

i completely agree that she would deserve alimony in the case of a divorce, but the original post wasn’t about divorce it was about how their mother was having trouble in finding work, the guy had nothing to do with it and a lot of these comments seemed to be attacking him for no reason. if i want to be a SAHW i would expect my husband to support me in that and i wouldn’t hold it against him when i wanted to work again. i can agree with like maybe the first too sentences? i’m more than happy to be a SAHW if he’s making enough, but honey that street goes both ways, if he isn’t dedicated he doesn’t deserve you

i know it’s easier said than done but honestly go find yourself a better man. if your bf starts to not care when he realizes just how much you love him he isn’t the one. find yourself a hvm who will use your love as fuel to make himself even better. if you think you have to hold something back and not be your true self bc he’ll change as a result then hes not the hvm you’re looking for
