Quality men with personality do not settle. You are describing men who have no game whatsoever!

I never believed in that 100%. Some men would date plain-looking doctors/lawyers over hot women with no education/career. Some men might prioritize hot looks, submissive traits in women because they want to simply lead and have the women pop kids for them. To each to their own. No judgement. Also, your gf might change when reality hits. It's possible she might get the drive after. Best thing is to talk to her.

Globalization and immigration have long affected the dating market. In a way it's good but in the same time, it creates more competition, just like with jobs or anything else.

transactional element to the relationship Most relationships are transactional, liberal or otherwise. What I love about RP women is that they are honest.

We all make mistakes. The good news like you said, you stood up for yourself this time. Maybe it's a lesson you needed to learn to have that healthy amazing relationship. All the best :)

This is going to be psychology 101. We will always attract who we are. You need to really increase your volume on self-love and respect. Give yourself some 3 months, where you can absolutely enjoy loving yourself and gradually fall in love with who you are. See yourself sexy, hot, smart, a catch without needing to be validated. Now, when it's time and you've already attracted a match on the same bandwidth, DON'T LOWER your STANDARDS like you just admitted once again. Relationships are all about …

Some of the advices given here are rather toxic, please steer away from them. After reading your post and some of your replies, you have admitted that you 'go with the flow,' and also from your post, I don't think you were CLEAR in your communication that your intention is marriage. There are man who would actually let women go and won't waste their time out of respect if they don't see them as marriage material. By not verbally communicating exactly what you want, you are disrespecting yourself…

Never believe in one ideology, it's wrong. The truth or knowledge is far more sophisticated than that. Personally, there are aspects of the red pill that resonate with me, but the other stuff, no way. I think, am more of a purple pill :D

You will get there. Just work on yourself. Even if you find your perfect man, you need to work on your boundaries when it comes to your everyday social life/work.

If you attract narcissists, you need to work on your inner child trauma and also work on setting your boundaries.

- Live your BEST life no matter what. Happy secure people attract the best. - Putting pressure on yourself this way won't lead to any positive outcome. I wish if someone reassured me when I was your age. - Love yourself. - Choose men wisely. - Try to be socially proactive. Go out and meet people in the RIGHT places that resonate with you. - Ask someone to check your dating app profile. Take better photos. Keep the apps as one option. - Research cities/town with high number of single bachelors, p…

It really depends and it's quite situational. If a woman is seen as a catch and exceptionally beautiful, then nothing really matters lol

There's no reason for shame in hailing from a working-class family. In fact, this background can offer a unique sophistication and perspectives that those born into wealth might not experience. As long as you're kind and respectful towards others, there's no reason for shame. Embrace confidence and savor every moment of life. If life grants you the gift of a compassionate and prosperous man, consider it a blessing, my friend.

But in reality, the sin is casual sex or sex outside of a relationship. Wholeheartedly agree. Casual sex has def eroded so many things in our society, especially courtship. Mainstream courtship is so low-level now. I am not even speaking from a religious perspective here. Loving your interpretation overall, thank you for sharing.

You are putting too much emphasis on 'virginity'. The way you are thinking and operating is reflective of your own personal values and outlook to life. It isn't fair to expect another human being to share the same outlook as you. Also, he is already 3 years older than you. It is highly unlikely for a person to stay a virgin at 25. Personally, i would prefer someone who has done some self discovery first. Most importantly, saving virginity until married is a religious concept and not a romantic o…

We all need skills irrespective of our gender, roles or marital/children status. And the beautiful part is that in this day and age, you can practically learn many new things online. Also, not learning new things isn't good for your brain, it will be a mush later on. Our brain needs to go to the gym as much as our bodies. Even if you excel at skills such as knitting or even sewing, this will help you. Who knows by the time you are 35, you might want to have your own Etsy store. I would say learn…

You haven't had sex in 5 years, but did you masturbate? And when was the last time you felt horny? Have you ever watched porn? Sexuality is a very complex topic. Some can only have sex if they have an emotional or even an intellectual connection. Others can get turned on by seeing someone who is hot. And asexuality does exist. Sexual libido is also linked to hormones. It is a highly complex subject, and quite honestly, I don't think a therapist would have the specialty to speak about this subjec…

Temptation exists for both men and women. Exactly. Thank you. If we want to talk about psychology and 'evolution', then women would like to have babies with men they deem as having better genes, and then this could include cheating. But I don't see women saying out loud that they want to achieve better babies and so I will cheat with the next best men I deem of superior genes. We are grounded by humanity and not mere animalistic tendencies. Your comment got me going lol

Has any man in your life including your own father pampered you? Showered you with gifts? When was the last time you felt someone took really good care of you? Listen, I don't support entitled women who are into this 'princess treatment' crap. But quite honestly what makes you tolerate him all along? And what leadership are you talking about? You are the masculine energy in this relationship, and he isn't treating you like a true feminine woman. I feel you are covering some previous trauma. I su…

hhhmmm on the contrary, I always find that attractive charming women tend to attract many other women for friendship. Somehow heterosexual women like other attractive women for some reason. Maybe it is hotness by association? EDITED: Try to find Facebook groups just for women seeking other women friends. Also, do try meetup. Since you mentioned 'being active,' interacting with others that have the same hobby will help.

Fulfilling my dreams and conquering my limitations. Yes, life can be quite depressing especially when you read the news, and your everyday people can be quite insufferable, but there is so much power, pleasure and inspiration when you choose 'you' -- not in a selfish way but in a creative way -- irrespective of the noise. By choosing 'you,' you will inspire others. You will love yourself and radiate this love energy that fills you with joy whether you are married or single. And sorry if my answe…

First of all, I would love to have more context from you. Are these men coveted by many other women? If yes, then the competition is high even if you are beautiful yourself. There are women who are so great in pretending and subtle seduction, they can get the guy. The honest women with no proper game, kind of lose somehow. Having said that, I agree with what others have wrote here, which is basically focusing on your RMV appeal and empowering that part through your vetting process. Something is …

From my experience, men who want more of a submissive women, they don't care about her career. I don't quite trust these men unless OP wants to be a submissive house wife and pop em kids. Now, men who want an educated women with a great career --- are one of the following: 1- They are broke/weak 2- They want to boost their ego and social status among their educated peers 3- They truly want an intelligent woman, who has done something of value for herself and they might assume career = high intel…

Okay, great question! So, I have seen women who focused on their looks, got their nose jobs and their lips done, however, their personality sucks and rather obnoxious. Obviously, enhancing their looks didn't help. I have also seen women who aren't really conventionally attractive and are living happily with their spouses. Having said that, is it possible to search into yourself, if you are good in setting your boundaries? Is it possible to have a candid conversation with someone who has GOOD INT…

No, that's how we women bond. When I see my friend looking good, wearing a new outfit or has new nicely applied makeup, I will def compliment. I would love the same thing said to me too. And it honestly means or translated to: 'I like you.' However, you can only test things if they are 'fake' when there is a friendship and you have to voice a concern or tell the truth, of course it has to be good intentioned. If the other friend gets defensive and can't accept it, then it only means that relatio…

It seems that you've lost your original print or your authentic self. There is nothing wrong if you are strong, outgoing, ripped or career-oriented. You just haven't found your right match. There are men would want that.

This subreddit is starting to feel like an echo chamber of whiney men. The magic that any man can do is insane. You just need confidence, hard work, discipline, empathy, self-love and love for others.

Lot of assumptions here. You are still young and you have plenty of chances. You need to think beyond sex. Try to create proper experiences in life where you can interact and meet people.

You didn't miss any boat or anything. You are very young and have plenty of chances. I advice if you can see a therapist if this is bothering you. A woman who wants a serious relationship wouldn't care!

There are men who are way more romantic and emotional than women. And quite frankly, I feel sorry for them. Since they will be judged by women, and they have to suppress who they are to gain respect.

Beautiful women with brains/personality will def have much higher access to high quality men. But being pretty alone is no guarantee. A plain woman who was brought up in a healthy environment and living in a good country/culture will by far get to marry a good gentleman and have a great married life. And I have seen beautiful women who enjoy the attention but suffer in love/marriage. There are many factors in play besides looks.

I recall a poignant story about a woman who selflessly donated one of her kidneys to her ailing boyfriend. However, once he regained his health, he chose to part ways. I do understand that you can't buy your way in love. We all have free will but that story is quite telling and shows what you just wrote.

For sure! However, women who were raised with lots of love and confidence tend to fair much better in love/marriage irrespective of their looks. Also, it depends where you are living.

- If you are very pretty, men will love you and will have great luck in marriage. - Your financial standing doesn't matter as a woman since the man will take care of $. - Men are not emotional, and mentally strong.

"I wish more women would embrace their femininity and see the inherent value in it, and I wish more men would stop seeing this as a gender war and understand that as your yin is being discarded, so is her yang." Femininity is a gorgeous when it's respected and cared for. We modern women might have 'acted' masculine because we needed to survive. I mean, if I am wearing a flowery floral dress and going to a STEM meeting, would I be respected? And quite honestly, I feel this world is hungry for a p…

If you are sex-based in your thinking, then of course you will say scrap marriage. It isn't marriage's fault. It is the lack of awareness and compatibility. The more aware and compatible people are, the better, the marriage is. Also, maturity is a huge factor. I mean even if there is no marriage, there will still be heartaches and issues. Marriage offer people some sense of stability. "Numerous studies conducted over the past 150 years suggest that marriage is good for health. More recently, sci…

I love smart guys. But I have noticed for example, that engineers or hyper-nerdy guys don't know how to dance or are smooth with their movements. They don't know how to say the 'right' thing to us women. There are some studies that show people who are in STEM have more autistic traits. "There is a higher than chance representation of autistic people and people with elevated autistic traits in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) industries. An extremely good looking woman will have options no matter what even if she has four kids or has no career. Some studies even show that attractive people (men and women) are more likely to get a divorce. I have seen this happening with the people I know. And I have seen really good looking women get really pampered, and can afford to be lazy and entitled, and i have seen less good looking women work hard to earn admiration. And yes, there are men who prioritize family life and would rather choo…

Not everyone thinks of looks as no. 1. There are men who don't prioritize women's looks, and rather focus on other attributes. Some men might even prefer an average looking women because that will make things easier for him, just like some women don't like to choose good looking men. And people come with their strong and weak attributes. A good looking man who might not be so cerebral might go after a woman who isn't that good looking but smart/successful because he values the latter way more. S…

Plz stop with this b.s. - Women always worked on themselves to attract suitable men. Women spend on eyelash extension, pedicure, and some even go under the knife to enhance their appeal. - The modern women actually were forced to be both men and women. Career oriented, bring $, stay fit, attractive, have personality etc... At times, ticking all these aspects don't even guarantee her that she will get a good mate. While men are still expected to be ONLY men. - Also, you overlooked the fact that s…

I never cared for mainstream culture and I never drew inspiration from what I want romantically from it. However, I've always been attracted to men with strong arms and chest. I was never attracted to a man with flabby or skinny arms. I love strength in men, and I guess this is how I am heterosexual. It's just like men want feminine women, I like muscular men. End of story.
