Ugly women can be rich and get beautiful husbands, no?

None too skinny for me, maybe if she's below BMI of 15, but that's more about her having trouble living her life and not about the way she looks. I like them skinny girls, but sadly they are a rare thing to see in the wild.

I realized I made it very confusing, lol I would not consider it "dating" if we weren't physical. A relationship without sex is purely platonic to me, so I don't even consider the first option dating material, what you are describing is a friend. Please note, that I am NOT interested in marriage EVER, so that would mean there would be no sex in that relationship period. Had it been something along the lines of "she never initiates sex and makes you wait for months until it happens", then I would…

1.) Do you think young love or romance is overrated? Especially those with no experience? I think it is underrated. Young love means less responsibility and not focusing on things like money, houses, education, etc. You date because you like the person for who they are, not for external factors like these. There are way lesser standards to date at that age, compared to dating as an adult. You do it all for fun and do playful things like teasing one another or causing a little drama to spicy thin…

The first one, we call each other friends and I go looking for a partner who doesn't care about marriage.

I would agree that virginity for men is seen as an unattractive thing that brings their value down. With that being said, this is only the case for those who are involuntarily celibate and virgins not by choice. Those men, who are staying virgins despite having options and abundance to "lose" their virginity are attractive, however. It shows strong character and lets people know that these men have enough self-control and value themselves by not having sex just with anyone who expresses and inte…

Men's problems could be solved by the destruction of gender roles. Let men be passive and don't see them as inferior for being feminine. Encourage women to be active and not to be ashamed about being perceived as masculine. Stop pushing people into these antique molds of what it means to be a "man" or a "woman" and let them be free to be however they please without shunning them. Feminism did a great deal about making masculine roles more accessible for women, it's about time men's-right movemen…

Agreed. Not sure if saying the requirements are going up is a good way to describe it, however. It's more like there's little to no variation when it comes to what's hot. It's the same "muscular tall burly men".

I would say yes, the male sexlessness would go down and women's standards would go down as well. There would probably still be a sizeable portion of women who would rather stay single than try to get with guys in their own league but without constant attention and simping, a large portion would date within that framework. Maybe that would actually force women to take a more proactive role in forming relationships and asking guys out.

Should be fun! Physical: She's a woman. 19-23 years old, 5'4-5'10, BMI between 19-23, either Caucasian or Asian, pale white skin, big blue or green eyes, small-ish nose, triangle-shaped face, no (visible) moles or birthmarks, C cup, changes hair color, style, and length from time to time. Fashion: Has some tattoos and piercings. Mostly dresses in dark clothing and is not afraid to (and often do) wear accessories (chains, bracelets, etc.). Her style could be described as alternative, grunge, goth…

Over BMI 24 (I prefer if she's 19-22). Over 6'2 in height. Physical disabilities. "Professional" dress code. Boring, not standing out style-wise (aka. natural hair, no tattoos, no piercings - doesn't have to be all of them, but I'd very much prefer if at least some of these things were true).

I mean if you are not enjoying it, yet decide to do so because it's pleasurable for your partner, then I think you should stop. Why would you do something that you do not enjoy yourself? If you do enjoy, yet find yourself not receiving pleasure that you'd like to receive, tell your partner that. Do you want him to go down on you? Do you vocally let him know that?

Have you ever thought that the reason these men won't do the things you listed is that they don't want to, or don't care about them? People put importance and priority on different things and the key is to date people who value similar things. If you really care about unwashed dishes, don't choose a partner who only washes them once a week when the kitchen starts to stink. Don't nag your partner and expect him to change and live by your standards, either suck it up and understand that he's not g…

Could you rate yourself on a 1-10 scale? No idea where do I stand. Online people seem to rate me as a 7, sometimes 8 (rarely a 6), so I guess above average? Nobody complimented my looks IRL tho, it's always the compliments on how "smart" and "intelligent" I am, but not how "hot" I am, so I have no idea where do I actually stand. Could you describe the physical attributes that are contributing to you being called "ugly" or being the reason you believe you struggle with women? If it's "height" ple…

Whether a person is married or not doesn't have to be shamed. People should be free to decide how they want to live and how to show their love. Institutionalized marriage is one of the things I believe we are better without. Not everyone wants to live traditionally molded lives. Some people want to stay independent and marriage is a thing that confines them. With that being said, women should be shamed for being with someone who doesn't want kids (and she knows), while wanting to have kids herse…

Only if a man is attractive to the woman. A chubby guy with long hair is not really pulling any tail. The examples you've given don't show you the whole truth. These men were not only physically attractive, but they were superstars and had money and opportunities that most people do not have.

A less attractive guy could do things that a more attractive guy does and be seen as creepy. A more attractive guy could do things that a less attractive guy does and not be seen as creepy. Say you are a girl on a bus. In front of you sits a man. You lock eyes and he smiles. If the guy is not attractive, I think most women would be alarmed by this, maybe going as far as changing seats to get away from him. If a man is attractive, there's a higher chance of you smiling back and not feeling alarme…

You said it yourself, it's because of gender roles. It's always because of gender roles and gender-based expectancies. Men are expected to act masculine and thus, to be the initiators. They are expected to be the ones pursuing sex. If a man is a virgin after a certain age, it usually indicates that he either, tried and failed or didn't even try to follow assigned gender roles. A man will be seen as lesser if he's the one taking a feminine role (e.g. waiting to be approached), as masculinity is s…

Tattoos, piercings, colored hair is hot and is by no means something to avoid High N count is great, I don't want a purist girl who has no idea what she likes in bed There's nothing wrong with swinging/non-monogamous relationships Less attractive women are not easier lays. From my experience, they are the ones looking for LTR's, while more attractive women are more open to casual relationships 80/20 rule is normal. Is it your natural looks? Is it your face? Maybe, but I don't think so. There are issues, but nothing I would deem extreme. Is it your height? While being taller is useful, I don't think that's a problem. I'm 6'0. Is it your body type? Very likely. I'm too skinny and have no muscles. I'm 132 lbs. Is it your phenotype? As in race? No. Is it your lack of facial hair or too much body hair? Doubt that. Maybe too little body hair, but never really cared about that. Is it your lifestyle? Work too much…

I dislike how men are still expected to follow "masculine" gender roles while women are less expected to follow the "feminine" ones. Men are expected to be the ones to initiate, whether that's asking for a date, escalating physically, initiating kiss or sex, hell, men are the ones expected to propose, while women take a more "passive" role. I've seen women, both online and offline refusing to initiate because "it's men's job" to do so, despite them being perfectly capable to take a more dominant…

If I'm laying in bed next to a woman, that means I'm either already attracted to her sexually or we are just chilling in bed being best buddies. If it's just innocent hanging out with no indication of intimacy happening, then I'm not getting erect. A thought might cross my mind of this being a good opportunity to do something, but that's more about myself playing out the fantasy. If there's an indication of intimacy, it all depends on how she acts and how passionate she is.

Is it really? It's not like you are cleaning both places instead of one. Each one cleans up and takes care of their place as they see fit. Why not get two spatulas, one in your partner's home and one in yours?

No, because I don't like the concept of marriage. I would be in a relationship with someone, who wishes to live separately, as a matter of fact, that's the kind of relationship I would very much like to pursue.

I mean like attracts like. A man who was no problem dating or marrying a woman who he knows murdered or is willing to murder other people (regardless of gender) has some psychological problems himself. Maybe he too hates people and wishes he could murder them, and having a "companion" who also has similar wishes is beneficial. Maybe he sees "power" or "status" in a said woman and thinks, that by associating with her, he could increase his own power and status. Maybe some of the guys are simply t…

Or you could destroy the gender roles and gender-based expectancies and shift the view towards a more tolerant and accepting of these "feminine" traits. In the current social climate, femininity is still seen as inherently "less" than masculinity, thus exhibiting behaviors associated with femininity makes one "weak". Furthermore, not everyone is naturally drawn towards the roles that were assigned to their gender. A man who is naturally more emotional and overall more left-brain thinking is not …

I don't like the way the masculine/feminine dichotomy is understood in today's world. I find such labels to be both, outdated and limiting, and very much harming society and individuals. The way I see it, each one of us has masculine and feminine qualities, the only difference is the context and degree they are expressed. Men can be feminine and women can be masculine, and this is fine, as long as such expressions are chosen willingly. The problem is that the society™ pushes the idea that men ha…

If you both are aware and agree that there's no commitment involved, I don't see any problem. I wouldn't call exclusivity necessarily a commitment per se, as you can have some casual, not serious relationship that's built on exclusivity. However, a person should be able to get out of such a relationship without the drama or judgement if they please.

What's good about commitment? The way I see it, there are way more problems arising from committed relationships compared to other types of relationships. The only real reason to commit is if you want to have kids. If you don't, what are the benefits of it?

I don't see why you would exclude OLD from approaching. You have like 30% of relationships starting on OLD, a number that's only going to increase, especially during the pandemic. You still have to "make a move", even online, if you want to get anywhere. Men are still expected to write first or sit for months with their inbox empty. Messaging first, asking for a number/socials, asking on a date, all of these are no less approaching than whatever metric of approaching you are using.

No, it's one of the Baltic countries, but very similar in that aspect to Poland. We are moving towards a more liberal side in regards to sex education, but it's still pretty far off from other European countries. There is even pretty widespread "meme" on how "there's no sex" in our country, which followed the idea that "there is no sex in the USSR" after we broke off.

Wouldn't say that's an issue only found in the "west". I'm from Eastern Europe and sex is very much a taboo still (probably more than in say the USA), so things like speaking with your parents about sex aren't really happening whether you are a guy or a girl. Mentions of sex-related things on the media are usually met with resistance and hostility, especially from religious and conservative people. It's not uncommon to hear how sex education and anything related to sex is "corrupting the youth",…

Do you have friends from the opposite sex? What's the experience like? Yes, I do. Most of my friends are of the opposite sex, I don't have that many guy friends, so I am not exactly sure how it compares. We talk about various things, support one another, ask for advice, suggest things to do to one another, share stories and experiences. Has this friendship benefited you in a way that same-sex friendship hasn't? See above. I cannot compare same-sex friendships with opposite-sex friendships. Has a…

If you date a person like me, you might have to wait a long time for them to feel ready to have sex with you. I might, but that's not a given. For all I know we could be having sex the same day. Furthermore, it depends on what "a long time" means. If it's a few months then I'm fine, if that's years, then I might pass, depending on other areas of our relationship and how other forms of intimacy are presented. You might have to support them as they try to work through trauma. They might have traum…
