I think they got it, and didn't like it. Am I falling prey to Poe's Law?

The quote is not just mis-attributed, but has so little do do with Buddhism as to be completely antithetical to every school of Buddhist thought.

I have nothing to comment on except that I love your writing style. That and someone who intentionally writes tersely modeled after a classic author can probably swing better than someone reading 50 shades. Although, to be fair, 50 shades is a pretty strong signal the reader may be looking for something they're not getting enough of in the bedroom. EDIT: Can't say I applaud ignoring the fiancé, but r/seduction is probably not a reasonable place to make that complaint.

Tu. Also...you have to be in the right situation to use it, but my understanding is that pulling off "souhaiterais-tu davantage de vin, maidemoiselle*," results in underpants off. Moreover, don't have a thick anglophone accent, or it really doesn't matter which pronoun you use. maidemoiselle is touchy right now, use with caution.

NYC...Happy? As for the accent, dude, I'd kill for it. He's just said "British." That includes this.

I want disagree with some of the other advice here, but it really depends on how smart we're talking, sadly. I'm content that my girlfriend is way to smart for that shit, but continually surprised that other very smart female friends tend to, as deathdick put it, be 'more intrigued.'

Interesting arguments, but presented dripping with misogynist condescension. I often challenge people on the knee-jerk reaction to the pua community based on assumptions of misogyny, but this article, with its references to "the Matriarchy," and explanation that a man learning how to socialize is the equivalent of a woman dressing well is in part why seddit sometimes has an 'image problem.' No, broseph. Learning how to rock Italian suedes and a well-cut blazer is the equivalent of high heels and…

You should show her the comics you've been making about your crush on her and posting online for a community of pick-up artists to teach you how to get her into bed. It'll be just like Hitch.

Are they supposed to look better or worse after? Seriously, they took the guy in the suit and instead of teaching him about fit and color, they just handed him a motorcycle helmet as prop. Their concept of fashion in the AFTER outfits includes fucking camo jackets, jeans+denim shirt+ denim jacket... The first guy looked light years better before, and just needed a decent shave/trim and to be taught some confidence (and how to properly rock a bow tie, but the untucked shirt & slim-line diamond cu…

Blackie 0_0 You're the most beautiful negress in the room; I bet back in Africa you'd be a queen! Oh, you look angry! You're so cute when you're angry, blackie. I'll try this at the shrine tomorrow and report back.

hm. I'm the opposite. I try and avoid obnoxious shit that everyone says in favor of coming up with slightly less obnoxious and more interesting shit of my own. "Red" is just sad, but if it works for you, it works for you. If I had to use that and make it work (pua challenge or something) I'd go the communist reference route. But I'm no longer looking for the moment, since I'm with a fantastic redhead who I do not ever under any circumstances call "red," "big red," "red lobster," "the fire brigad…

Just a note: actual redheads tend to hate being addressed as "red." And call her "big red," if you want her to dislike you Immediately. It's commenting uncreatively on the most obvious aspect of her appearance, which she doesn't exactly have control over. A few of the redheads I know immediately disqualify any guy who calls them "red." other than that, this belongs in the sidebar!

like a cancerous cunt. I'm one of the few in this subreddit in a happy LTR, so it's not exactly a concern of mine, but I'm definitely glad it's being addressed.

This is what's wrong with this subreddit: you say you want to be approached by people like the ones in this very subreddit, and instead of taking a hint and their own advice, the guys here give you 117 comment about strategy.

Here: souhaiterais-tu davantage du vin cafe, mademoiselle? Super fucking suave. Also, dude, speaking multiple languages is DHV like a MOFO. Not only does getting yourself to a high level speaking with strangers help your confidence, but speaking something else opens up a whole other world of people to you. Even if you're with someone else who is a monolingual anglophone, it's impressive to be sitting there reading a book in another language in a cafe (and ends up making women open to you. no jok…

Well, I certainly applaud anyone wanting to open a hundred sets, but take it from this old pickup rat, I've spent my entire adult life in the set, and a program like this one can do more harm than good. If you only train one part of your game (and that's all a single exercise like opening a set is going to do for you), you're setting yourself up for injuries down the road. I've seen it a hundred times. It's like putting a powerful engine in a stock Toyota Tercel. What will you accomplish? You'll…

I can't tell if you meant to substitute "cavity" for caveat or not, but either way I'm amused. That's the kind of error I'd intentionally throw into conversation to entertain myself and see if anyone catches it and recognizes it's a joke. So... mission accomplished?
