Solid advice. I'll keep a strong frame and maintain the power balance in my favor this time around. She apologized for being an asshole b/c she had to manage a few things at work (it was a legitimate problem she had at the time, but no excuse nonetheless) and said she could've handled things better. I replied something along the lines of "if things are better, we can get together sometime" and she agreed. I didn't acknowledge the apology or say "it's okay" or "I understand". Now when we meet up …

She may or may not reach out to you later, at which point you can decide how you want to proceed. (Hint: If you perked up reading that, you have oneitis.) The key difference is that now she is entering YOUR frame and you dictate how the relationship proceeds. As always, the Rule of Twos applies, perhaps with even more stringent criteria. How to proceed if she reaches out a few weeks after no contact given that she broke the rule of twos?

Med student here as well and pretty new to TRP, how do you guys manage time to focus on your mission (school ATM), lift, read, and still have the time meet/date girls? Focusing on school takes up the vast majority of my time, even giving myself a hour and a half each night before sleeping for light exercise/reading seems unfeasible at times?

Any blogs/books you recommend for learning about Keto?

Stop betting around the bush and just go for it. Ask her to meet up in person. She's already not engaging in the interaction so just get to the point. Only she knows if she's into you or not.

Can you give example of these sales audio books/podcasts?

This could be quiet time, or you actually going out to do something. Don't show that you are upset that she is late - but more come across in a firm way that you are disappointed she's late. How do you do that without conveying being butthurt? What are some examples?

Wouldn't say anything. Play it off like its not big deal. That puts the pressure on her. Just back off for a bit, escalate with what she was receptive to before. Try again. Unless she kicked you out or was completely freaked out, keep it going. Two steps forward, one step back, and repeat.

Could be that she was just nervous for it being her first time. Maybe you should've continued escalating with the cuddling and tried again. Out of curiosity, how old was this girl that never kissed before?

"Make your own unicorn" is an idea I've heard thrown around, as well as stating recently myself. Can anyone elaborate on this idea. How does one go about molding a woman into a unicorn?

Your text options read like a faggot wrote them. Way too many sentences/trains of thought, way too much punctuation. Almost never use an exclamation point. Points well taken.

Sadly I agree, it is a case of oneitis. But I am engaging with other girls as well and am not basing my happiness on how it turns out with this girl. Just a cool girl I met a while back that I would like to hang out with. Was looking to see if in general, it would be a bad idea to ask a girl out with just one text. Is that to minimal of an effort?

Would also like to know how to escalate physically on a first meet coffee date?

In any case, she said she would contact me on the weekend and set something up. TRP vets, is it better to frame a situation this as "I [the guy] will call you" instead of accepting an "I[the girl] will call you" from the girl? With telling her that you will call her, does that show neediness and/or low confidence that you think she will call? I'm thinking that letting her call you puts all the power in her hands and keeps you waiting. Whereas, telling her that you will call her keeps her waiting…

How can the stoic guys work on/improve their sense of humor as a way to better themselves? What are some tips or useful resources?

Great advice here guys. I know I screwed up, big time. Most valuable screw up of my life because of the lessons i've learned from it. Search "Learn from the beta mistakes that I will NEVER make again" if interested. I am ready to move on but being stubborn, I want to take one final shot. Despite the seemingly insurmountable odds, what is the best approach? Even my old beta self always told myself that nothing in life is impossible.

Appreciate the wise words. Appreciate this time and be cognizant of your own behaviour and extract lessons from this. This is part of the journey and you can learn a lot about your jaded self. Extracting lessons from my failure is actually the point of a post the I made on TRP. Search "Learn from the beta mistakes that I will NEVER make again" or just click on my username and find it in my submitted posts. WARNING: It's cringeworthy. Say fuck it, and take action, otherwise you'll be torturing yo…

Awesome advice. You're right, the girl is currently the goal. It should not be that way. Improvement should be the goal. Why do you want a relationship? Answer that question honestly, figure out what hole inside you think this'll fill, and you'll be on your way to a deeper understanding. I reflected on this question, thought about it honestly. To be honest, i'm just afraid to be alone long term. Beta shit, but as humans we're biologically wired to connect. My fear of being alone long term is the…

Just some random FB chick from my uni ( a large uni with thousands of people). Got her to respond using the message I posted, how to approach this next to get the first coffee date?

Sent the message that I posted and got the conversation started. I've been very slow to respond. Next should I ask AFC questions to create comfort and connection while avoiding coming off as creepy? What's a good strategy to proceed?

A few reasons why i'm having difficulty applying the abundance mentality to this situation. From my previous post: A few things that (in no particular order) unique to her that have me hooked, other than the basics of attraction: 1. Religious. Goes to church, mediates, reads spiritual books. 2. Classy and respects herself - could tell by her behavior and the way she was dressed at the club. 3. Doesn't drink (I don't drink either) 4. Unexperienced sexually. Never been involved in a relationship. …

NEVER EVER again will I put a girl on a pedestal. And I have been working on improving myself. I already have a pretty good physique and wardrobe. What I need to work on is the social aspect of life. Social skills, social intelligence, social proof. Any gems around for that? Actively transforming by trying to connect with other girls as we speak. I have semi-moved on. Have this girl on the back burner mentally, not emotionally yet. That's why i'm being stubborn and idiotic about this situation l…

Don't bother. Once a girl has marked you down as Loser that is nearly impossible to change. That is what I am trying to get at. What nothing is impossible. It's nearly impossible or very unlikely, but what kind of approach gives me the BEST possibility. You should really read some more sidebar and contemplate that stuff because based on this post you have not absorbed any TRP into your behavior and mindset. Agreed. Will keep reading.

Appreciate the wise words. What is it you want from her? Just a hook up or a LDR? A LDR/LTR. I told her that I don't want a relationship. Not a hook up because she's a nice conservative unexperienced girl. And to be honest i'm not a hook up/one-night stand type of guy and don't think I ever will be. I want to meet, hook a lot of girls but i'm just not sloppy or promiscuous by nature. List her qualities and I will show you how they are all a dime a dozen. A few things that (in no particular order…

Yeah I feel you. Just picked up on the RP philosophy a few days ago. Not so much of a case of oneitis, this is a case of me trying something using a new approach/philosophy and getting the opinion of those that have experience with this approach. My case of oneitis is what led me to TRP. Still in the process of changing my ways. I'm sure we've most of us have been there.

That message that you suggested, it seems to be a little too wordy and long for a first message, no? Any way to strong/suggestive with the lines (wrapped in all pretty, absolutely adorable, etc.). To me that is coming off as too creepy. That is the type of message that allows a beta to hide behind FB. Has something like that worked for you?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm a grad student and tend to come off as an intelligent person. And I like to play that card as well. IMO, women find intelligent men attractive. You guys think that is true, or is that my old beta way of thinking? Carelessness in text exchange seems like a powerful tool. How can one pull of the carelessly written attitude while using proper grammar?

I see your point. I'm new to this, but doesn't saying something like "wanna be friends" give her too much power? Puts the ball in her court too much, no?

Thanks for the input. Does the "have been m33ting new ppl" part seem desperate? And What should I add if I delete the "thought about intro myself" part? Without that there seems to be an abrupt ending.
