We got more than enough people on the planet and probably enough sperm in banks that technically no sex would be required. Slippery slope kinda thinking obviously isn't a good way of looking at these things but if you absolutely want to only imagine the most extreme scenarios possible it's not like there's only one way something can go.

What are you on about? I was only talking about private relationships, nothing else. Nobody was talking about offspring or sex or any of that. Why was that the first thing that came to your mind? I was more so talking about platonic relationships, so there would be more close same sex relationships than now. Sure women and men would still be supportive of each other but it's not the focus so I don't see the point in talking about that specifically?

Are men not interested in having bonds with other people? Why would women have to support men for this to work?

Why demographic collapse and not a shift to platonic relationships, like co-parenting, co-habitation, marriage out of convenience and stronger communal and thus societal bonds? Actually sounds far more stable than romantic relationships between men and women only as more people would be involved and learn to understand and support each other

A preference is just a preference. You can still fall for people who don't fit that preference

(at least) 2 people decide to have a child. It's never just one person's responsibility unless it's like a single person using IVF

Do you think women just constantly have guys buying them expensive gifts to compete for her love and time or something? 😂

Men were saying those things when women were pretty much legally dependent on them (a system that many of those men were trying to uphold btw). Bit of a difference there. Kind of like locking someone in a room with you and then complain that you don't have any privacy

Those aren't high standards though. They're just creepy and predatory

"Women as the collective hivemind that they are gotta make up their mind so my generalized view of them can finally make sense 😡 It's almost as if I'm speaking to a different person every time!''

You're never gonna be liked by everybody, I would suggest you to stop focussing on those people and keep doing what you believe in. As a feminist I am quite tired of men complaining about women not praising them enough for not being sexist. I'm sure that is not what you're saying but it is something that happens very VERY often (see for example: the entire ''nice guy'' category), whether it is justified or not if you've learned about women's experiences it should be quite obvious why they're ske…

If there was no us and them group your whole premise falls apart. "why don't people support people''

We do treat men who are working towards equality as friends without prejudice. Why would you assume we wouldn't?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
