I haven't even heard of a woman who does that. Are you saying the women on reddit don't exist?

That's a perfectly valid opinion. So is the opinion that a fetus deserves rights.

Friend. I said most women are from FDS. I didn't say the majority of people on this sub are from FDS.

Someone shared a stat a while ago that 40-ish percent of participants on here participated in FDS.

As i said in earlier comments, I'd also choose Emilia Clarke if she was interested in me but that doesn't mean Id say no to casual sex with average looking girls. But in hookup situation it isn't just one man approaching one woman. Bars and parties have large groups of men and women. This situation flipped would be you choosing your average-wife (who you don't know personally) over Emilia Clarke at a party. You wouldn't! You would have rejected future-wife. In a situation where it's just drunk s…

Now why wouldn't a guy be pissed that his wife is settling for him and knowing that she'd have defenitely rejected him in her hookup days? Let's assume this actually happens in your life. Why would you be pissed? Because you can't accept that you aren't marvel-action-star hot? If you looked like Chris Hemsworth and had your pick of the supermodels, would you have picked your average-looking wife over them? People are capable of loving people that aren't peak physical perfection because there is …

Women being overlooked in the workplace is a problem that exists, but the culture has also changed so much over the last 10-15 years. I find that it all varies greatly depending on the age of management. I have found myself overlooked when management was older men, but it has not been an issue for me when management has been women and younger men. I'd say the deeper issue we have is workers in general being treated badly, undervalued and underpaid. Edit: Also as a side note, being a short woman,…

I'm sorry you guys had to go through that, it's so tough for everyone involved. For a lot of pro-lifers the crux of it is the fetus'/child's right to life, and unfortunately the left fails to represent this perspective, a perspective I think makes the pro-life stance a lot more understandable. While I'm very pro choice, I don't think the pro-life side's pov (fetus rights trump women's rights) is less valid than my pov (women's rights trump fetus rights).

Not a martyr and not on a high horse. If you think being not nice is gonna make you a billionaire, no it won't. The ruling class will benefit from you regardless of your personality or mine. But, I firmly believe that liking yourself is a big part of being happy. And I'm just tryin to be happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:01 PM
7

Why? Skydaddy? No, for yourself. I'm nice to others because I like myself better that way. I don't care about anything else. I don't do it to get something from it. I literally just like myself more that way and that's all I need. People aren't always nice back. That's on them. If your article is trying to prove that narcissistic assholes comprise our ruling class, yeah, obviously. I have no interest in running a hedge fund. I'm good.

To be fair, women in the US do have the same legal rights as men. The abortion topic is difficult, because you have to ask, should the fetus have a right to life? Does the fetus' right to life trump the mother's right to an abortion? I don't think it's as clear cut as taking away women's rights, for a lot of people its about the fetus' right. I don't agree with it personally, but its certainly not an issue with a clear right answer.

My post isn't a personal opinion. Expectations for men and women can be the same or different, its whatever society makes them be. Women were discriminated against in the workplace an paid less than male counterparts for the same work. This falls under the umbrella of legal milestones. Also at no point did I say women in the 80s were not liberated so I'm not sure why you imply that I did.

Not something I've gone through, but abortions are really hard for so many people. Your hormones change. Your instincts kick in. If you are a woman that wants children one day, it can be so hard to end that life, that potential human being that you know you will love. There are women haunted by abortions and deeply regret them. Religious people especially. The choice to end a pregnancy is not an easy one for a lot of women, especially the older you get. It can be heartbreaking. Some people just …

Women's roles were changing in the 80s, the 80s was the first time women earned about half of bachelor's degrees and were now able to support families. (I believe this happened in the mid-80s). That being said, it had only been about 20 years since "housewives," were the norm, and a lot of people in power, especially in the workplace, still held onto the traditional views they grew up with, so women were overlooked for promotions, dealt with workplace discrimination, pay gaps, etc. Socially, gen…

Hey, I'm all for taking responsibility for one's life and happiness. Can't be there for others if you aren't there for yourself first. That being said, I think there's lots of good men out there, and in my experience, the people that say "where are all the good men" are usually problematic themselves, and the "good men" don't want em.

I'd say just because women initiate divorce, doesn't mean the relationship is good, or the man is happy, or the relationship is healthy, or the man hasn't done anything wrong, etc. Perhaps men are just more willing to stay in unhappy marriages than women, irl I've definitely seen those unhappy couples where they hate each other but stay together. The custody thing is a myth, dads get custody when they ask for it, they just often don't ask for 50/50 or full. https://www.dadsdivorcelaw.com/blog/fa…

I mean people are people, we are all flawed, and it's expected that people will make mistakes and bad choices, but we ourselves also do the same. It's easy to side with someone's one-sided representation of a failed relationship, but once the whole picture is made clear, the majority of the time both people made mistakes and share the responsibility of something not working out. I uses to think in term of, well they cheated on me/lied so it's 100% their fault, but have come to realize that yes, …

Just gonna say religious people aren't more moral, and when society was more religious it wasn't more moral. Social pressure doesn't make people more moral either. Morality comes from within, and has to do with who someone is as a person, otherwise it's just performative and you have sex-before-marriage-donate-to-charity Karen screaming at retail workers and slapping her kids and scamming her neighbors into her MLM downline.

Abortions a separate issue. I'm all for paper abortions for men, and I hope that happens. Both parents should be able to opt out of an unwanted pregnancy. But for very religious people and Texas abortion might not be an option...and usually both people know that going into the bedroom. And again, outside of sexual assault, men have control over contraceptives. Birth control pills are not 100%, and usually both people know that going into the bedroom. It takes two to make a baby. You can't just start forcibly taking children from people. Not only is this a massive human rights violation and incredibly cruel, if you take away the kid from every single mother and single father that needs government assistance you will overwhelm the system, those kids will end up in foster care, and we're back to paying for them with tax dollars.

child(ren) will likely grow up to hate her for her selfish actions which that cost them a stable, loving familial environment. No, they'll likely grow up to hate the dad that abandoned them because that's what she will raise them to believe, and will likely turn out just like her. Bad parents, more often than not, raise damaged kids, that more often than not become bad parents. It's rare to see people break cycles of generational trauma.

You really need to see how a guy interacts with others to see if YOU are attracted TO HIM? lol. I will never never understand this. It's not to see if you are attracted to him. It's to get a better sense of who he is as a person. It's like the whole, are they rude to the waiter? thing. They could be cute, sweet to you, but rude to the waiter, and that says a lot. Just seeing someone interact with others gives you another piece of the puzzle for who they are as a person.

Are there men on social media that love lip fillers, lots of contoured make-up and fake asses? Absolutely. Its not the norm though. Both ladies and gentlemen like natural beauty, and reward the naturally beautiful with romantic interest. For those that are not genetically blessed, well placed fillers, well-blended contour and "fat asses" tend to result in more romantic interest than flat, unattractive natural features. Women; Literally dont approach me anywhere. Also women; Men dont approach me anymore. This is two separate groups of women. It takes minimal effort to meet men as a woman. You literally have to just exist in a public place and men will make approaches. I've been approached by men in public.... maybe twice in my life. Once I was 16 and he was 30+. So no, they really don't unless you're pretty good looking, and even then theres a culture now around not approaching women. At bars it's different, but you're not likely to find a relationship with drunk, college sophomore Peter who staggers over.

Clothes-making, factory work, farm work, domestic workers, weavers, secretaries, artisans, brewing beer, nuns, etc. They were not allowed in positions of power (clergy, law, government.) They were not allowed a formal education. Female poets and philosophers had to pretend to be men to enter libraries or have their work published. Women have dressed up as men to work as doctors, fight in wars, etc. Forcing women into subservience made economic sense. So did…

So basically women don't care that much about a person's personality if they not attractive. Right. If you're not physically attracted to someone you are less likely to date them just for personality. That's pretty normal across both genders. Men also prioritize looks over personality. And again, being unattractive doesn't mean that person has a good personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/22 02:45 AM

I think the FDS view of dating/men is kinda messed up. If I were a man I wouldn't date them and they wouldn't date me lol. I find the whole 6 6 6 thing super demeaning and messed up.

Again, good looking men that treat women well exist. The men that don't give "tingles" can also treat women badly. Being bad looking doesn't make someone a good person or a good boyfriend/girlfriend. I can chose between a hot guy with a mediocre personality, or a bad looking guy with a mediocre personality. Why would I choose the bad looking guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 10:05 PM

than they would a successful guy who will treat them well. You forgot to add "that they are not attracted to." You also are missing the fact that there are plenty of broke, good-looking men that treat women well, and plenty of rich, smart men that think they're much nicer than they are, and actually treat their partners badly and have the communication skills of a boiled carrot.

I'm perfectly familiar with the concepts you're discussing, and my English is as good as yours, I promise. That being said, the insurance industry has a lot of issues, and sexism is one of them. I don't think it's fair, but the industry isn't concerned with fairness. Charging young men more for a necessity for being men isn't fair. Also states like california have banned using gender to calculate insurance rates, yay!

So your telling me the women's ideal 6',6 figures, 6 pack isn't extra. 6'+ That's the FDS ideal and that sub is ridiculous. I think that's an incredibly dehumanizing way to talk about men. Secondly, money is an issue. I don't know where you're from, but it's a huge issue in the US. Poverty affects all races btw. People are struggling to afford rent and childcare, can't purchase homes due to student debt/low wages. Inflation is at an all time high. Having someone with enough money for a house/chi…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 08:28 AM

These are just preferences. Being taller isn't "more." It's just a physical feature. Money is desirable for everyone, especially with the crazy costs of housing, childcare, and education. If men aren't looking for rich women, maybe they should. Having money is good. Again, I don't see why someone wanting a tall/rich partner means they are insecure. You're not proving that there is any connection between these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 08:11 AM
11

Wanting someone "more than" is connected to low self worth. No it isn't. I'm 5'2". Just because I want to date a man taller than 5'2'' doesn't mean I have low self worth. A person wanting to date someone rich doesn't mean they have low self worth. Again, no connection. I feel like you're taking the phrase "more than," and using it to make some ridiculous leaps in logic.

No men don't care if Megan fox has money or doesnt, being honest. Also your getting it confused. Men want women in general. If she's more attractive than him or less, it doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure this is just desperation.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 07:38 AM
14

Wanting a smart/tall man is not in any way connected to wanting to be emotionally abused and manipulated. This feels like something a nice guy would post that blames being too nice for failure to find a partner, and decides all women want to be emotionally abused because that's the only explanation for why women would reject such a wonderful, nice man.

I looked at thee study and it only had 10 men and 10 women look at a small set of clips, clips that we don't get to see. I'd be interested in learning more about the topic, but this study is too flawed. If clips were meant to appeal to heterosexual women but were all created by/directed by heterosexual men there's a problem right there. The other issue is they deliberately made sure women were not ovulating during the study. Another issue is they don't take societal conditioning into account, an…

This happens with men too, though. Men can also fall in deeply in love with someone that isn't their ideal physical type. I really don't see how women's sexuality is more complex than a men's. Edit: not saying male and female sexuality is exactly the same, but that men and women are both visual, and one isn't significantly more complex than the other.

You claimed men make the first move "because women generally risk more from sexual relations." So you are presenting a brand new argument and abandoning your original claim And if you mean sex instead of gender, you should say sex. Sex and gender are not interchangeable.

I don't think women had it worse, actually, and that's not the point I'm trying to make. Everyone suffered, men, women, children. My point is women didn't have equal rights, not that they had it worse. You didn't address my claims about education, and disproved my case about landowning laws with an article about native Americans, who were a separate society. Non native women did not own land. Sex and gender are not the same thing. Gender is the roles society puts on each sex. Gender roles can change and are arbitrary, sex is biological. As a woman I think men making the first move is outdated and needs to end. Risks from sex have nothing to do with making first moves and in no way does anything to reduce any of the "risks" you're alluding to. Men have risks as well.

Most people date within their same socioeconomic class so no, divorce won't destroy men. Regardless, if someone is being manipulative, manipulating them back won't solve the problem or make you either of you happier. It makes you just as bad.

Spinsters are unmarried older women considered too old for marriage. The term spinster originated from old, single women that supported themselves through jobs like spinning wool.

That all falls under the young unmarried (sometimes married I suppose) women category, not the spinster category. Also Emma Hamilton was 15 when she started being a mistress.

It's other women that usually say it/we hear it in the media, and men irl that happen to "lose interest" in the woman for "being too easy." Or don't want "high n count women" which I see repeated a lot on this sub. To have a low n count women can't sleep with all of their first dates. The n count thing is another way of saying they don't want slutty women, which ties back to not sleeping with men too soon. I think plenty of men do have this sentiment and like a bit of a chase. Well I would also challenge that a little bit. Perhaps the woman changed her approach to dating as she got older and no longer sleeps with men early on. I think it's quite common to see that as we age. The other thing that comes to mind is that if she elects to have sex right away, it could be because she knows she isn't interested in a relationship with said man, which removes the fear of getting hurt if he's deceitful/just after sex. Sleeping with someone she really likes too soon and getting …

I can only speak for myself as everyone dates differently, but I usually tell a man "I really like you/I've been enjoying getting to know you." Otherwise I suppose neither party knows for sure until you enter a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 04:09 AM
31

I don't think it's that at all. Many women are conditioned that men won't consider them girlfriend material if they sleep with them too soon. The other facet is if a woman really likes a man she wants to make sure he's not just trying to have sex and leave and waiting for sex is the way to do that.
