Noon would have been a better time IMO. I suspect they won't see much different in numbers since 4-5 is when a lot of people leave from work anyway. Everyone browses during lunch. Although I think a weekend or full day would have maximum affect.

Powertripping bitches will do whatever they can to ensure they can still powertrip. You were a threat to her mindstate. If everyone is having fun with you and you lighten the mood then you'll gain everyone's respect and they won't listen to her shit anymore because you'll treat them better. Sad really. #1 reason you gotta just focus on the job. Work can't be about camaraderie anymore.

It's not that they want you to be sad, it's typically not a maliciousness. It's that they don't want you to be doing better after they leave. They want to feel like they mean something to you and they don't want to leave if you mean more to them than vice versa. A lot of times they can't accurately judge who has the power in the relationship and if they feel like they have the power then they look elsewhere and leave. You lost the second you lost your temper. If you gotta put hands on someone to keep them with you then you lose.
