1	After watching Fight Club I've come to understand why so many women/feminists have an issue with the movie I agree with you. The type of feminist you described, tries to deny that there are biological differences between men and women, not only calls masculinity "toxic" but also denies that that is what women actually biologically are attracted to. 2	Every girlfriend I've ever had hated the movie Fight Club. I think I've finally realized why. I am a woman and this is my favourite movie of all time. As you said correctly, everyone will get something different out of the movie since it is so many different things at once. The movie is (among other issues) very much about the role of men in society. How they feel domesticated and unmanly in their stupid day job, filling the empty void with materialism.
