Yes, infertility would be the worst thing to happen to a person. Hardworking people who pay taxes having no ambition would be disastrous. Men being sterile is awful, and women unable to have babies is awful. I'm not sure why you're under the impression that women don't make up almost half of the economy however, pay taxes, or also have families to feed? If I'm remembering correctly, they said they'd be okay with using it if it were improved, so I'd assume that means if the infertility side effect was eliminated. It's definitely ridiculous the way they're bashing on the study. I don't think they realize that a study for a new drug, and changing a drug that already exists on the market (and was created in the 50s?) is totally different. I wouldn't want to take a pill in 2016 that made me infertile. And if they can better the effects, why not? But I've seen a lot of women, even on female based subreddits, who called them out on it hard. So that's good. Most of those posts twisting the study around get flooded with comments such as "someone obviously didn't read the article and is trying to satisfy their agenda."
