I agree with you on that, it just appears he’s thinking he would do it on “moral” grounds, that’s the part I (and others) think is absurd.

If I’m not mistaken, Rob is now rolling around delivering cases of Pepsi. Great source of life advice I imagine.

Correct. Welcome to the world.

You’re missing the point. He agrees with you, the guy is retarded. But you going on about “the code of ethics” and other such nonsense has no place, no one cares about that except you.

Absolutely not, the guy was a pleb. Your post was excellent, the fact that you got involved is what I am. Commenting on. Ethics/morality is subjective, and you’re entitled to your beliefs. But there was no reason you should have gotten involved, it shouldn’t even be on your radar. Let the man do what he wants (even if he’s risking it all).

You’re getting downvoted, but you’re absolutely right. People just want to grand stand and think they’re important.

This sub is about sexual strategy, which is amoral. You can grandstand or virtue signal if you like, but there’s no reason for it other than preference.

This is exactly what I was thinking, no business of his. Post was good, but no reason he should have any involvement.

This is crab in the bucket mentality. Absolutely anyone can become a millionaire, and you don’t have to be a software developer or engineer or lawyer to make it happen. Look no further than the Financial Independence subreddit for a framework on how to make it happen in your lifetime. It certainly isn’t a fast way to get rich, but slow, disciplined investing in diversified assets (index funds, real estate, bonds) will allow you to become financially independent, and should you chose, you can be …

Wouldn't say pennies, but there's a post up by Mr. Money Mustache (MMM) on his blog that shows the percentage of your income that you save vs how many years until you can retire and have your investments provide for your standard of living.

I've been a pretty steady lurker and occasionally poster in both the Financial Independence, leanFIRE, and fatFIRE subreddits. Those subreddits in combination with TRP has changed my life, each in different ways, but together they form an unstoppable mindset and frame with which to execute life.

I agree that mental disorders are, for the most part (I’m hesitant to say entirely), rubbish. More and more it’s just an excuse for weakness and attention. I think the reason you’re getting downvoted is that it hits close to home for some people, and a lot of people have been raised to view “depression” as just as crippling as a lost limb. Welcome to 2018.

I wouldn’t say that it’s this bad in my home, but after swallowing the pill I saw smaller scale things unfold that I never would have before.

As a Sig, it’s always amazing to watch these kind of events happen. It’s like a mini society on campus.

1) Land a high paying job, and save 50%+ of income 2) Funnel every extra dollar into 80/20 Stocks/Bonds in index funds held in tax advantaged, and taxable accounts 3) Become financially independent at 35, retire and live your life on your own terms or keep going for increased wealth and spending 4) Profit

Number 2 all the way. Went out with a girl the other day, when we got to the restaurant she stopped me before I left the car and said that she wasn’t coming home with me and didn’t think it was smart to have sex so soon. I didn’t even reply, just walked into the restaurant and didn’t look back. I was midway through ordering my food when she came in. On the drive back she asked to come over, she did, and we fucked three times. I’ve learned outcome independence is the key.

I’d say doing maybe 10-15 of these is a good idea, the others are unnecessary/wrong/vague.

So what you’re saying is a girl just used you for drinks and lured you in with the possibility of sex. Think with your head, not your head.

I may be the odd one out here but idk how the fuck you find time for that. I’m a once a day 10 minutes max type of guy. Finish my business and get going.

Can confirm with BMWs. I bought a 2005 5 series last year, and a mid 2000s Z4 (drop top) this year. The number of comments about how I can afford them blows me away. The irony of course is that you could get both for the price of a properly optioned 2017 brand new Honda Civic. Edit - this is in the US.
