They matter a lot. Not having the best looks doesn't mean you won't find anyone nor that only ugly ppl will like you. But it certainly greatly shrinks your dating pool. Most people wont put a whole lot of effort into someone they don't find mildly attractive. It is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it's also true we all like pretty similar things. If you are conventionally not attractive, life itself is harder for you. Saying otherwise is just hiding your head in the sand..

I missed the point of your request kind of. The darker/sexier scents for men imo are usually something that has aromatic, leather, oud, wood, tobacco type notes. Tom Ford has a few that I and my girlfriend really like. Oud wood, tobacco Vanille, ombre leather. Maybe v&r spice bomb

Sounds like you just need to find what cologne she likes on you. Hit up the mall and go smell a bunch of stuff to at least get an idea of what is nice. Scents interact with everyone differently based on your body chemistry and such, so even if she/you has a favorite, it can "not work" so you really have to experiment. Not a specific fragrance, but if you don't know exactly what you like and would rather try different ones - check out the fragrance net subscription. You get one small bottle for l…

Same! The only way to figure it out is to force yourself through some more interactions really.. also, some (many/most) people are also not very good at that kind of cold interaction either tbh. Some people can pull it out of you, at least for me. Maybe they're easier to talk to or like you said they are willing to do a bit more of the work. There should be effort from both sides anyway really. You can be anxious and still interesting.. if you don't think have interesting qualities or are uncomf…

Not putting it on a pedestal doesn't mean it's not great. Relationships, intimacy, sex are all amazing and probably some of the best stuff life has to offer.. the point is that enjoyment is/should be reciprocal and the other person is not necessarily better or different than you such that you have to do everything to please, chase after them as if they were in some elevated position. A beautiful woman is still a person with flaws and feelings, so no reason to treat people different, better than,…

It's not even the concept themselves but their application. All those apps run on a freemium model. If you're not paying or very attractive, your visibility is super low. Ruined by greedy corps trying to suck money out of their small target audience (the small percent of people subscribing/paying multiple times).. does really suck

Yea that's never really a good idea or you could end up with people just going out with you for a free dinner or whatever. Are you sure they're dates and you're not just friends? Could be she is shy/inexperienced, you may be too and that is ok sometimes these things can take time but make sure she is on the same page as you (communicate, ask her about the relationship/friendship and potential). Also it is a good idea to try and get the woman to split/pay especially after multiple dates to show t…

This is really good advice.. The be yourself thing can work out once you get past that initial feeling out phase/couple dates and starting to feel comfortable. Until then it's like a game and have to realize you are probably playing against other people too. Gotta strike a fine balance of capturing interest/attention while not being too pushy about it. Once you lose that initial spark without some meaningful interaction it's pretty much over..

Yea this part of things always confuses me. They might even say they are interested or that they've just been busy lately. Maybe they just don't like texting. But seems most people will just let things flounder rather than say some uncomfortable truth. If it's someone you know a bit, or really you might as well do it either way cause nothing to lose, just tell them what you think and see what they have to say. But yea like others said, at some point whether they're indifferent or behave differen…

In the US kebabs are generally shish-kebabs (meat on a skewer) and most often are pork, the ones that everyone else thinks of as a kebab is a doner-kebab (the big meat cones that you slice pieces off), though kebab is a general term.

The problem with all the assumptions people are making about this comment, is that I'm pretty sure he's not talking about dating and settling down with a women and everyone seems to be thinking that. The dude just likes to fuck hot girls.

Just cause the dude likes hot women doesn't mean the sub is full of anti intellectual idiots. We all have our preferences, hell he could be a Nobel winning physicist but love to fuck hot bitches for all we know. Is there something wrong with being physically attracted to someone?
