You fail to mention that woman only have had this choice of staying at home or work because of the efforts made by contemporary feminists in recent decades that this sub so avidly critiques. There was (and in many cases still is) an expectation towards woman to stay at home (and towards men to go to work). This is what is called internalised oppression. evidence of advantages for woman does not mean they can't be disadvantaged in other areas. Woman are oppressed in some areas, as are men, as are many other demographics. The question is can you say woman are oppressed as a whole, for that answer you would have to weigh the advantages to the disadvantages. Personally i think the disadvantages of this system outweigh the advantages for woman.

I am a 20yo male student and prob what you refer to as 'feminist and pretending to be mras'. I am a feminist and am active in this sub to nuance most arguments because i feel like it is necessary. Call me whatever you want. This sub is amazing at taking a small percentage of woman and generalising it towards the entire feminist community and woman in general. Yes, men's rights are important and need to be taken more serious, but woman's rights do to. They do not exclude each other.

And she's right, white cis men make up the majority of crime and violence in this world. What the problem is is how she frames it. The reason for this is systemic, and men being treated differently in society results in these statistics. Saying it like this makes it seem like it's a biological trait and it is very immature and unprofessional for a politician to say. Shows how seriously she takes her authority.

Depends on your definition of feminist. Yes in a literal sense, it means empowerment of woman and some take it to serious and become extremists (right wing feminists.) But i still believe that many take feminism in its modern sense, i.e. as a movement to equalise all genders. (left wing feminism). Many of these true feminists are advocates of men's rights too. But you won't find them online but in the parlements, in the universities and in the scientific world. The majority of 'feminists' online…

Well done on your research! But I feel like i have to repeat myself, finding evidence of anti-male feminism in the early feminist era ≠ mean that early feminism has always been anti-male. It hasn't always has been that way. feminism has only in recent years become anti-male. And this devise is clearly visible, you have actual leftist feminists who are fighting for equal rights, but not at the expense of the rights of men. And phony 'feminists' that are just sexists in disguise claiming to fight for equal rights etc. You should not generalise the entire feminist movement just because the actions of a few. Grow up
