They aren't more interesting to watch due to being men, they're more interesting to watch because they are more competitive and it shows. However, that is intrinsically tied to being a male. I've been on 4chan since it was created, it's always sucked. It would be incorrect to determine it as a white supremacy site, or anything other than decreasingly chaotic posting. It's mainly black supremacy threads and porn. So in some ways it's changed but it's still all mostly garbage.

In a vacuum your statement is fair but it is not in a vacuum, this is something many people have noticed, it is a pattern of behavior. People who are looking for attention will do some weird things to get it, and since the major difference between men and women is men are interested in things and women are interested in people, women will search for attention more than men. People aren't saying "all women are evil" they're saying "this is proof against the forced idea of believing all women", though. These things obviously happen and the prominence of these threads or discussions is to combat the narrative being played out in media. I wouldn't say it is a wolf story because we don't know if it did or did not happen. There are fact stories and truth stories. This, if not a factual account, still fulfills the framing and portrayal of the issue. It's like teaching morality through a cartoon or stories passed down through generations. "We don't go over the hill, there is a monster there which consumes all that cross its path" can have the same affect as "Hey there's a snake den over the hill, you'll die.". The first is a truth story and the second is a fact story.
