Meditation, in an entirely secular way, has been very beneficial for me. I am less emotional, and notice thoughts quicker than I used to. For example, when I become angry, I notice it. I still feel negative emotions, but the half-life of these emotions have continually been cut down. What used to make me angry all day, now makes me angry for, like literally 10 seconds.
