Haha, but how could you know that?

On the contrary I actually make six figures but I don't "show it" so to speak. I dress well and live comfortably but don't flaunt my wealth with designer clothes, an expensive car, watch, etc. as that's just not who I am. I'd argue that my career ambition has actually been a detriment to my life in this area lol.

I've been working out for a few months now and have put on a noticeable amount of muscle, ie. you can tell that I work out just by looking at me (unless I'm wearing something baggy like a hoodie or jacket). My main issue is that I've still got 15-20 lb of fat to lose which I'm currently working on.

It sounds like you are fortunate, it's seems be a target rich environment. :) What do you mean by this?

That's what I'm trying to do haha. 😅

Workout, dress better, get a good haircut, learn a new hobby, eat better. As I mentioned in the line: I'm also a strong proponent of the self-improvement aspects of pickup (which I'm actively working on) I'm already doing this (minus the getting a new hobby, for now all I have time for is work (I work 9-7 or later on most days), gym and learning pickup; if anything, gym is currently my hobby). I still have some weight to lose but I've put on a pretty good amount of muscle. Do you think it would …

How good looking are you on a scale from 1-10? I only ask because let's be real, on Tinder, looks are the main factor.

I viewed your post on /r/amiugly. It's not that bad, your proportions at least aren't fucked up. I'd say you have a below average face but that's because you have some fat that you need to lose and to put it bluntly, your style is terrible. Lose weight, start hitting the gym, go to a good barber and ask him to give you a haircut that would suit your face (after you've lost weight), start dressing better and grooming better, start a good skincare routine and go to a proper place to get your eyebr…

Please link me that post if you can find it. I often find that when I share my feelings it stresses me out later because I wonder whether I should have said anything at all and how I will be perceived now that they know. That being said, I'm sure that's largely due to the stigma associated with men sharing their feelings and perhaps if we lived in a society where men were encouraged to do so, like women are, it wouldn't be the case. I find it hard to believe that it's solely due to our brains be…

Good riddance; the entire post reeked of somebody who'd just barely started lifting or had never lifted a day in his life. Everybody who's a serious lifter knows, like this post mentioned, that muscle gain is a slooow process. You can work out consistently for 2 years straight, 4-6 days a week, with proper nutrition and can acquire the physique that the top 5% of men have that this post is talking about, and still be nowhere close to the Instagram fitness models or professional physique competit…

Uhh... chest? Push ups work chest, triceps and shoulders a bit. They don't work out back or biceps wtf.

If he's 120 right now and works out properly and consistently 4-6 times a week, with a proper diet and macros, he could put on 20-25 lb of muscle and 5-10 lb or more of fat in that time, so you're not wrong, but you can see why someone without this knowledge could misinterpret your comment, so I just wanted to clear that up.

150 to 160 lb at 5'5" and his low amount of lean body mass would result in him being skinny fat to fat. He doesn't need to eat a lot, just a 500 cal surplus (1000 if he's a hard-gainer and because he has the room for it) while doing body-weight exercises should be a good start.

I'm twenty and have grown more between the ages of 19-20 than 1-18, in my opinion. What helped me with this was college and internships + living on my own and pretty much trying everything I've had a chance to try thus far. The best way to grow is to expose yourself to new situations, so if one of my buddies invites me and some other buddies to try something I've never tried before, I say yes. If an acquaintance of mine invites me to a house party, I say yes, etc.

You're right about that, things like MMORPGs, MOBAs, etc. with infinite playability are massive time-sinks and will yield you absolutely nothing in the long run. I'm talking more along the lines of single player masterpieces that you can (eventually) finish and be done with.

So it's been said, though I think a large part of it is just the vibe you give off when on NoFap.

Definitely. I never drink alone but do smoke weed from time to time alone if I have a solid block of time where I can just relax, though I NEVER smoke weed alone while on a streak because it raises libido and can cause you to rub one out when you otherwise wouldn't.

I've never been wasted; I'm only a social drinker and if I have the option, I'll always opt for smoking weed as opposed to drinking (don't really like the effects of alcohol). That being said, I do neither regularly and only do them in certain contexts (house parties, chilling with friends, festivals, etc.). I smoke/drink only about once a month on average.

I just recently completed a 30 day streak. I then went on to fap my usual rate for a couple weeks, to see whether the effects would diminish. I'm now planning on going on a 90+ day streak starting today. Some minor but tangible improvements that I noticed (mostly after 2-3 weeks): Deeper voice Clearer, more vibrant skin Less social anxiety Minimal feelings of depression (I used to suffer major depressive episodes) Huge increase in energy after the first two weeks and reduced sleep requirement (b…

Premium, high res porn, I'm guilty of this too. I delete my stash a few times a year before going on a NoFap streak.

More importantly, what's up with these professional athletes and ex-military marrying whales? Like, what in the fuck is their thought process? They're in top physical condition but see no problem with marrying a woman who doesn't even have enough self-discipline to control her eating habits. Why?

how to deal with people who are aggressive, condescending, how to turn the joke on others etc. Like the guy you replied to said, experience is everything. The more you force yourself into social interactions, the more your humor, wit, ability to come up with comebacks on the fly, etc. will improve. I can't tell you the amount of times I was jokingly insulted (and took it personally - don't do this) and dwelled on it for entire days afterwards at times and I would especially become butthurt becau…

As someone who's been eliminating sugar from his diet on and off (whenever I'm on a cut) for the past couple of years but who's only now three weeks into nofap (after years of trying), I can tell you that quitting porn is harder, at least for me.
