2	It has become painfully obvious to me how beta I act around people. What actions can I take to fix this? Deploying to Afghanistan took the beta out of me, but you don't need to do anything that drastic. Sounds like you need a boost in your confidence. Hit the gym, learn something new, whatever. Even changes in your body language can help out, such as standing straight with your head up. I swear, I feel like such a boss when I walk, all because of good posture.
